Melissa Gorga Responds To Teresa’s Kids Mocking Her About Her Singing!
RHONJ star Melissa Gorga took to her blog to respond to Teresa’s children mocking her about her singing and talks about her big performance! Melissa says she doesn’t blame the children for saying the things they said, she blames Teresa and Joe!
“Hi Lovers!
Hope you are all having an amazing summer. I’ve been spending so much time at our beach house and just enjoying good quality time with Joe and the kids. I’m so in love with them all and feel so blessed to have this incredible family. Hope you are all doing the same with yours!
Well you finally got to see the Beatstock performance! It was such a rush being there and being on stage in front of all those people. It took a lot of courage to get out there and do it, and I loved every minute of it. Rehearsing with Cris Judd was more than I could ever ask for. He is one of the kindest and most patient people I know. He saw that I was nervous and instantly did everything he could to teach me how to let it go. We all know he has worked with the best, so he definitely intimidated me, but you would never know who he worked with by talking to him. He is the most humble guy and so thankful for all the opportunities he has had in life. He taught me a lot including the little known fact that standing still makes the biggest wow! Who knew? Thank you, Cris Judd.
The performance felt amazing. It was like a huge adrenaline rush, and when it was over I just wanted to get back on the stage and do it again. I was so proud of Gia. I love her so much. I’ve known her since she was just two years old, and we used to dance together all the time. I always grabbed her at the family parties and danced with her. She loves to shake her groove thing!
I don’t hold anything against the little girls mocking me about my music. They have both never seen me perform, so I know it’s not coming from them. I used to sing all the time at our family holidays. I have one video of us at Easter that is adorable; Gia and I were singing karaoke. Gia was about 4 years old. So cute. You can tell by the way their parents laughed where the negativity is coming from. Yes, it’s sad, yes, I wish they would not talk about me negatively in front of my nieces, and yes, I wish they would have told them that it’s not nice. But those are their parents, so they will absorb whatever it is that is going on in their home. I can’t control it, all I know is that if my children ever said a nasty word about their aunt or uncle, they would hear it from me. I will say those girls never act like that around me. They love me, and I can feel it. Did you see me run up to Gia when my performance was over and give her a huge hug and tell her I love her? That’s how I have always been with her and all my nieces. Did you see Joe jumping and screaming saying he would kill for Gia. That’s an uncle. That’s how we are with anyone who is in our family. We support them, we lift them up, and we tell them they are amazing. We don’t try to highlight every little flaw.
It definitely bothered me when Teresa said I lip synced at my release party. Where does she get this from? That is 100% not true. When I do heavy choreography, which I normally do, I sing live to the track. Most artists do. It’s not any different than any other performer you hear on the radio today. I’m not sure why she feels the need to say this in front of the camera and in front of her girls. Does it give her some kind of satisfaction to discredit me? I never question her cooking and I NEVER would. That is her business and livelihood, what kind of person would I be if I tried to make people not believe in her? Well I guess I would be exactly the same person she is. I don’t like that she says she has never heard me sing acapella either. Hello, did everyone not hear me on Season 3 when I stood next to my piano in my great room and sang for the producers so they could hear my voice, with the whole Bravo crew right there? Was she not at the BLK launch party where I sang live? For the life of me I can’t figure out why she says these things. I really wish she would just wish me well.
My sisters crying during my performance gave me the chills. I had no idea they were crying, and I love them so much. They are the greatest example of how siblings should support each other. They are standing by and watching me succeed and do what I’ve wanted to do since I was a little girl, and they couldn’t be happier. I used have them follow me around through the house with the camcorder recording me sing and dance. They were always front row at every one of my school plays that I sang at. They probably can’t believe that they are actually seeing me on a legit stage. I love you, Kim and Lysa!
I love that Patti Labelle loved the BLK water! I’m so happy for the Manzo/Laurita crew and their success with it! I thought it was hysterical to see Albert taking a back seat to his boys. Although I have tried the Brownstone sauce, and it’s great!
I’m excited that Kathy is finally following her dream of desserts. She used to come to my kids’ birthday parties with decorative cakes for them all the time. It’s her thing, there is no denying that! Everyone seems to be moving forward with their dreams. I’m proud of every single one of them. The drama aside, all five of us ladies are great parents, great family people, and very driven. I applaud all of us for having the courage to show the world how our families work. I think we are all pretty amazing!

If Joe would really “kill” for Gia, I think he’d show up to her birthday party back in January..oh wait the cameras weren’t rolling at the time so obviously it’s not that important. Melissa needs to realize that when she sang by her piano it was HORRIBLE so most viewers want to see how she sings live when she performs since we’ve only heard the horrible singing by the piano! I have to agree that watching her sisters cry was a very sweet moment! Thoughts on what Melissa had to say?

I also picked up on that immediately. It was laughable that she said she was never critical or questioned Teresa’s cooking or livelihood, when we have all seen it on television. Obviously, the Giudice children have heard things said at home, but come on, we have all seen the Gorga children right there when Melissa and Joe were saying negative things about Teresa and her husband. Melissa had absolutely no room to talk. If I were the Gorgas, I’d be worried about their children telling someone about their dad’s poison, or Antonia going and telling someone that her dad told her she is a c*ck blocker. They should all just shut up, especially in front of their children.

Joe Giudice basically said the same thing the day they took the tour of their “new home” – the building that was deemed unfit for the hardworking tenets who now pay rent living in the space the Giudices were going to live in if they lost their home.
Teresa said she would help make the pizzas and Joe commented on never seeing her cook — or words to that effect.

Thank you Samantha. We watched the same show. I thought Joe also joked about her not being able to find her way around the kitchen and mentioned/implied that she never cooks. She became defensive and said she did (knowing that cookbook was out or coming out, one).

I was watching season 3 while waiting for my kids to get out of practice.. (which is NEVER on time!) and im still shocked at how Melissa behanved and then told us numerous times she is honest and how we see her on TV is exactly who she is.. she isnt fake! Then we see her this season acting like a totally different person and her sisters are telling people.. ‘she saw how she came across last season and has adjusted accordingly” How is that REAL? Just more proof that shes FAKE, a liar and everything we see is what she THINKS will make viewers like her..No doubt if her PR told her wearing a pineapple on her head would make her a fan favorite.. bitch would be drapped in pineapple errryday!

The problem is she has adjusted the way she comes across. She has not adjusted the way she feels. That comes across on the camera. The little smirks. I hate smirks. I also hate passive agression. Her and Kathy come across to me that way. I would rather be called a prostitution whore. At least I know how they feel and can react accordingly. I agree, and I read that she said she didn’t sing live at Beatstock because of all the choreography, and that all singers do it that way because of the intense choreography. Now she is saying the complete opposite, and said she sang live at the release party, and I recall, as do you, that she did admit she lip synced. They accuse Teresa of not being able to keep her lies straight, seems to me, that title goes to Melissa.

I actually have the cookbooks and have read them and I can tell you, she wasn’t slamming them. When I read them, I did so with an open mind, looking for the issue. What I saw was good natured family “ribbing” and MANY comments praising them in the next sentence.

This is what I don’t get …. didn’t Joe say he sold his parent’s home and was going to find a ranch style for them? So what happened to the money from the sale of the home? Did Joe and Mel use it to support their own personal lifestyle? Something seems fishy about the sale of the home…seems as if they would have money from the sale to meet their own expenses.
Joe did not own the house, it was mortgaged with the spec house(where him and Mel live) and the shore house.
They were all put up for sale at the same time.
I have a feeling that they are going to be losing all of them to foreclosure in the very near future.

I know Hoolie, its just getting very annoying ! I talked to one of best friends today, who knows nothing of what goes on with blogs, sites etc.. her and I actually used to disagree a lot about Teresa, lol! Now, after last season and the present, she calls me and cannot stand what this has become or how Bravo has allowed this to occur with family! Today she said that Bravo has done a horrible job editing with the way they have , and allowed the cast to portray Teresa! A good point was made also, that for them ( Bravo) to condone and edit it this way, proves that this show is not reality anymore. They have instructed and almost scripted this to unfold this way!
Michers, Bravo and the Gorga’s are hand in hand with the script…. no I take that back I do hold Meho and Slojo more to blame.
This WHOLE storyline would NEVER have come to be (and subsequently catapulted Teresa to the level of notoriety, both negative AND thankfully *moneymakingly* positive) if Meho and Slojo had not made their private family fued public.
MEHO confessed ON TAPE she HATED Teresa, HATED her so much that she contacted an arch enemy on the QT on social media and fed skewed personal information to said.
That her brother from his and Meho’s “debut” episode, spewed venom and hate toward Teresa and her husband.

First of all, we don’t know if Joe Gorga is telling the truth. I personally don’t believe he supports his parents. Teresa touched on it in a blog, but more to say that she couldn’t believe her brother brought up anything about her parents when they are very private people, and that’s why she wouldn’t say more. I would love for the Gorgas, the parents, to do an interview and tell the story of their family. I believe Joe and Melissa Gorga would come off looking very bad, if they did. How is it, they had hard times, couldn’t afford diapers, but he is writing those checks every month for his parents. I don’t believe it. Don’t know what the truth is, but I think he is lying. I have noticed that a few times they have said the parents were in Punta Cana or were going, do we believe that Joe Gorga pays for their trips and their lifestyle.
I think Joe’s point is well taken. Teresa basically admits that her brother is providing the financial support. He’s supporting his family, his parents, and his sister tells the press that he can’t be counted on – when he’s even given HER family financial support.
If he has debt, it’s honorable taking care of two, sometimes three, families and running a business.

One thing I have come to understand concerning Teresa and that is she is a strong, strong woman and she is a survivor. I am glad she is able to go about her life in a dignified and respectful manner. Who wants to be castigated and called garbage by her only brother whom she previously shared a close relationship. It still hurts me to this day. I am the only girl of three boys and the oldest. I don’t impose on my brothers, they have their own families but no matter how bad I behave they would never in their lives call me garbage. We are very close and it was my middle brother I told that I wanted out of my marriage before even telling Mom and Dad. It was this brother that took time to see that I got through everything, helped me look for a new home, he was there along with his wife and in-laws for anything I needed. It didn’t detract from his families obligation because we are one family and at that time I was in need of my brother.
I love all the ladies on this show! All of them has great talent and it’s great to see them following there dreams. I just wish people would not talk so nasty about these women. I’m sure that the people who judge and assume are not saints nor perfect. I would love to see a lot more positive opinions for all the ladies on here. They all deserve a lot of respect. It’s not easy to go on tv and air all there issues and dreams. I realize that they all have said things that were not so nice about each other and I would love to see all of them support other without throwing jabs or being so negative.

I would say something positive about each one and i HAVE! But.. they have spent two seasons trying to destroy a woman who is their FAMILY. A woman who was at the lowest point in her life. Their sister, best friend, sister in law, cousin, aunt to ther children! They could have come on this show and supported Teresa but THEY chose not to. They chose to go this route and then when it doesnt work the way they planned we are supposed to ignore it and say positive things about all of them? NO WAY!
They are trying to destroy Teresa and take away the only means she has of supporting her 4 CHILDREN. Aid them in their bullshit. Thats what they really want.
Where they messed up , is believing Teresa needed to be taken down… We needed to see Teresa for who they percieved Teresa to be in their JEALOUSY. But they messed up big time, because viewers ALREADY knew Teresa wasnt perfect. 50% of viewers didnt like her but related to the struggles she faced as most viewers were facing the SAME financial problems in their own life..Housing markets dropped, people lost jobs. People lost homes, cars.. had to uproot their children.. struggeled to feed their familys and put gas in their car. They set the viewers up to feel sorry for what they themselves were doing to her. Which resulted in Teresa gaining a bigger fan base ala Bethany. Most Teresa fans didnt like her before season 3 but felt what her family did to her in an already trying point in her life was RIDICULOUS!
So heres something positive about the jersey cast and the nasty marco sisters.. Thanks from the bottom of my heart for what you have done. As you have boosted Teresas career and assisted her in becoming even more succesful. BRAVO RHONJ, BRAVO!

I can respect your opinion; I normally try to look for the best in people too. I can’t speak for anyone else here, but i KNOW I’m not a saint and am far from perfect. The problem is that the only person’s issues that are being aired on tv are Teresa’s and we find it very unfair.
All of these women and their families have had either shady business dealings, family and/or marital issues and things they would not want to become public knowledge. The only reason we are even aware of them is from social media, because Bravo doesn’t see fit to show them.
The only dirty laundry they air is Teresa’s. They actually go out of their way to protect the others. Perfect example of this is at the reunion when it came up about Al Manzo being fired by the governor…this is a HUGE deal. He allegedly defrauded the government and people of New Jersey. Instead of grilling Caroline about it Andy accepted her excuse that the apartment was being used to watch tv and quickly changed the subject. Yet he badgered Teresa about Juicy’s so-called homophobia (which I don’t believe for one minute).
These women who talk trash about Teresa have skeletons of their own, but act like they are perfect and so above her. They are hypocrites in every sense of the word. That’s why it’s so hard for people here to contain their dislike of them.

Because Bravo shoots tons of footage and only airs snippets of Milania and Gia saying sillly things because they want to get a rise out of the audience. Gia and Milania have grown up with the cameras, they are not given a lecture on exactly what to do and say when the cameramen are there like Melissa. Melissa and Joey practice scenes, you can tell they are acting, because it is terrible acting. Like Melissa wearing stilletos to bring her husband a drink in her red bathing suit. There was barely any space between the end of the house and the pool to walk carefully, much less in those dumb shoes.
Additionally, if you look at the pictures of Beatstock, you will see that only her friends and relatives in the front row are watching the “performance”. Nobody else is even looking at the stage out of curiosity. It’s hilarious.

No one has seen Teresa and Joe talk bad in front of the kids. But we have ALL seen Melissa and Joey talk bad about Teresa in their home and in their cars in FRONT of all three children!
Melissa and JoeGo’s children don’t say horrible things about family members who’ve only shown them love. The Giudice children watch their father say the most disrespectful things about their mother (the season their financial woes came to light and Joe called Teresa a ‘trick’ and told her she’d better start shopping at that cheap shoe store they passed, telling her to shut up, the talk about another woman). Then there’s dad and friends getting drunk (not just drinking) in front of them and dad going off on homophobic rants. Those children are only repeating what they hear and JoeGi didn’t have the decency to be horrified that his children were repeating that garbage. He laughed.
The Giudice children got the short end of the stick and I’m sorry for them that they have such a miserable family life.
No one should talk in front of the kids, but while Joey and Melissa do, the assumption is that Teresa must too. The reality is, kids as young as Milania don’t understand social proprieties and say a lot of crazy things, and kids as old as Gia can figure out what’s going on and make up their own minds. Like for example, if their aunt acts differently in front of the cameras as opposed to when they’re not there. If Gia were going on twitter and trashing her family like the Wakile kids do, and if Teresa not only didn’t make her get off twitter completely but actually egged her on in this behavior like the Gorga and Wakile family members do, that would be bad parenting. Calling your daughter a cock blocker and favoring your sons over your daughters is bad parenting. Exploiting your daughter’s problems to make her look terrible and make yourself look like a martyr is bad parenting. There are degrees of bad parenting.

I don’t know why you are always putting Melissa down. It boggles my mind that you cannot see how irrational and negative Teresa is. I don’t feel that Teresa puts on an “act of being happy”. She is going through hell and choosing to stay positive in public. There is nothing wrong with that. I am the same way. I deal with the problems I have, and try my best to stay positive despite. Happiness is truly a decision and mindset. If we were all only happy when life was smooth, we wouldn’t be happy very much. The trick is to learn how to be happy despite heartache and troubles and to see the good in each day. In my opinion, that is a healthy way to live.
The people who still support Melissa are still blind to what happens behind the scenes. Eventually they will see the truth.

Melissa and Joe have said plenty about Teresa and Joe in front of their children, we saw it last season! I beleive their children have said things about Teresa and Joe, the cameras just haven’t caught it, or they choose not to show it.

Fianlly on to your kids I never see them talk actually I never see you or Joe talk to them. I think you guys might be afraid of them stealing your thunder kinda like T’s kids steal the show whenever they are on. But T doesn’t mind it she loves that her kids are out going and getting attention. I also find it hard to believe that you and Joe are head over heals in love with your nieces when the cameras aren’t rolling. Have you or Joe contacted them this summer and invited them to your “shore” house?

What happens is Joey Gorga buys like $10,000 worth of downloads so that she will trend for a day. Then she fades into oblivion. That is how it works. So not only does Joey have to pay for the lessons, the studio, the autotune, the writers, and everything else he has to buy the songs as well. I’d say Poor Bastard, but this is what he signed up for.
I remember one epsisode I think from last season that Tre went with her kids to Melissa’s house and they were talking and Gia was in the kitchen with them and Tre said something like Gia go in the other room while we talk because Tre did not want Gia to hear their conversation so there are times when Tre knows to not speak in front of the kids.
I’m so sick of hearing her defend the fact that all performers sing along to a track when they sing live and dance at the same time. Is she kidding me???? Has this girl ever been to a concert….she’s from Jersey, she has the Meadowlands in her backyard and Madison Sqare Garden right next door. Since when do you go to a concert and the artist songs along to their own track?!?!? they sing live, they play their instruments LIVE! they dance like maniacs and scream and yell at the crowd. Laurie, I think that it’s becoming more obvious that “they all are having problems with her [Teresa]” because they’re getting paid to do so. If there’s truth to Teresa being the problem, what does it mean in that context? She throws away sprinkle cookies; she jokes in her best selling cookbooks; she doesn’t want to talk about private family issues on camera; she acts like nothing is wrong in her life because she tries to maintain boundaries even though she’s under contract to a reality show. NONE of the others have had as much disclosed of their private lives as the Giudices and when she tries to address those issues on her own terms — she’s ganged up on and vilified by hypocrites.
Every single one of them “exploits” their kids — if you consider that they all get face time. Bravo knows that Teresa’s kids have a huge draw, so they’re shown with Bravo’s agenda in place. Teresa already negotiated her contracts, and if she allows Bravo to show only bias towards her kids next time negotiations come around, I’ll agree with all of you who say she’s using them — but until that time, I’ll consider the Giudice girls to be collateral damage in the attempts by this franchise to take Teresa down.

When Teresa said she was truly happy for my performance at Beatstock in her last blog she was lying and that doesn’t count as her wishing me well. When Teresa said: “I’m sure she’s really good!” – she really meant that as an insult and doesn’t count as her wishing me well.
“My sisters crying during my performance gave me the chills. I had no idea they were crying, and I love them so much. They are the greatest example of how siblings should support each other. While it’s true that more and more singers are using backing tracks, that is because more and more people are getting into music who don’t have the voice and breath to sing without autotune.
Cajsa, Another problem with Melissa’s song (all three of them)is the fact that they are too short. She would actually have to put two of her songs together to make one sufficient song. That should say a lot about her so called song writers. Also, one of her songs is ‘dedicated’ to her husband but there is no actual mention of his name in the song. Only the title. Which means if she were to make it big and use that song, she can change the title without changing the half written song.
She can’t sing a standard 4 minute song, she doesn’t have the lung capacity or vocal ability…duh!
