Melissa Gorga Plays Nice While Joe Gorga Refuses
I started on twitter so I’m always following what’s going on and if you have a twitter, you know, a LOT goes on with it! Melissa Gorga recently began following a lot of her fans on twitter along with Teresa’s biggest fans and was questioned by many on why she suddenly would follow people who love Teresa and aren’t even following her. Is Melissa playing nice? Does she want Teresa fans to like her? Could it be because Teresa is on Celebrity Apprentice now? I say that because the past 5 months they haven’t spoke, only saw each other at Gia’s party and probably haven’t talked since. Whatever the reason is, I’m glad Melissa is choosing to play nice regardless of what her motives can be. A viewer tweeted Melissa saying, “omg your sis @Teresa_Giudice looked amazing on #celebrityapprentice right? Wow she is purty!” Melissa responded and said, “Yes! Very!” Two points for Melissa. Now let’s forward to Joe Gorga. There’s been several reports confirmed that Joe and Teresa haven’t spoken since the reunion.
Melissa had her weekly appearance yesterday and for some odd reason Joe goes to every appearance which is a bit strange because many of the housewives don’t have their husbands appear. Any who, a viewer tweeted Melissa saying, “Can’t host an event without appearance of @JoeGorga because no one would show up. Mel will never be able to stand on her own two feet.” Joe Gorga then accused the viewer of being Teresa and said, “keep sweating her T. You r so funny.” I find it disturbing that Joe Gorga thinks so low of his sister and would accuse her of making a fake account. Joe has even accused me of working for Teresa at one point! Just because viewers don’t like you doesn’t mean your sister is making fake accounts bashing you or hiring people to do that. Hello she’s on Celebrity Apprentice, has 4 children and has constantly been doing press. Grow up! In the end of the day all you have is family, move on Joe. Don’t wait for the cameras to come on to start drama with Teresa. Talk to her off camera! It’s clear Joe listens to Melissa, I mean she is his wife. So Melissa it’s up to you to make things work. Don’t instigate it. If you really want your family back together, show us.

Yeah Roxy – I too find it kind of revealing/disturbing that Joey thinks so little of Teresa. I think deep down he has turned very jealous of her and there is nothing Teresa can do about that. I hope he reflects on this and challenges his thoughts. Some deep soul searching is in order.

Joey, and Melissa want some attention bottom line. Why would Melissa try to follow people she knows clearly dislike her if she wasn’t trying to get a rise and some press? Why does Joey feel the need to say Teresa has fake accounts if he, and his wife at one time didn’t have fake accounts? They seem to know a lot about creating them. Teresa is hot! I think what is happening is Melissa and Joe want to turn the tables on Melissa’s reputation. It doesn’t matter if people like Joey, he’s not a housewife, they HAVE to like Melissa for both of them to gain success from the show. SO… Melissa is trying to look like the good one who is making an effort and Joey is TRYING to look like the bad guy on PURPOSE. They are desperately trying to make viewers see that it IS him and NOT Melissa…. but hopefully no one will fall for it, because we all know the truth and we know that Joey does whatever Melissa says, not the other way around.

You seem to take the criticism against Melissa VERY personal. I could post that I like Melissa and say nice things about her and I don’t think that one Teresa fan on this site would call me stupid or say anything rude to put me down for my OPINION. They might disagree but wouldn’t resort to childish name calling. I think that is the difference between people who like Teresa and people who like Melissa. Melissa fans tend to be like her and are emotional, unbalanced and always feel the need to attack.

They were well aware Teresa did not set anyone up well before the ” big incident” ever happened. This has all been documented on other sites. There has been a lot written about this – reality tv is not real. The narratives and events are crafted by producers. HOWEVER, people who at least claim to be in the know, also claim that nowadays one person is always left out of the big scheme in any particular situation. They’re not given scripts per se, but they know where the producers want it to go. Teresa was obviously the one left out this last season, at least most of the time. She knew Kathy and her sister-in-law were treacherous no doubt, and that bravo producers were expecting drama, but I think she was genuinely surprised a few times when got attacked, how vicious the attacks were and how she was completely left out of the planning process. I think she was also surprised that Caro and Jac turned on her so completely. Remember the time Caroline and Jac just happened to be reading the paper in her kitchen and stumbled upon the article about Joe’s arrest and Tree and Joe’s financial problems? Give me a break. That almost seemed like they WERE indeed given a script for that day, and like good little, loyal bravo scumbags, they followed it perfectly. It used to be reality show producers would simply interview one woman and themselves BRING up another woman’s private struggles/troubles and ask her to comment on them. Then, they – the producers – started egging the gals on ” So in so said THIS about YOU ( which may or may not be true ) what do you think about that??” So the next time the ladies were in the same room, there would be tension. Now, it seems like all (most of) the ladies know the deal way ahead of time and are completely in on the game. They know there’s one housewife who is slated at the ENEMY, the DEVIL and they better torture her if they want to keep the producers happy. Problem is, with this particular woman ( Teresa ) and this particular franchise, it backfired in a major way. The public didn’t get on board and actually started paying attention, if not outright LOOKING INTO what the producers were doing and were super vocal about how scummy they think it is. Woo. sorry another long rant!
I think it is so telling that everyone, like “wise owl” who say things like this about Teresa have ZERO concrete examples of the so called “mean spirited, dishonest, downright shady shit Teresa has pulled.” I would LOVE if “wise owl” and her cronies could come up with a legitimate list of factual examples that proves how Teresa is at fault for the giant family rift and hate from her RHONJ cast members. And, before you start quoting the other cast members and their hate spew at the S3 reunion, please note that when I say “factual examples” I don’t mean just the words that have come out of one person’s mouth; I mean witnessed events, footage, credible news articles, multiple sources stating the exact same thing, etc.

My point is the truth came out you joe know that your sister is not responsible for the confrontation at fashion show or for selling stories to tabloids yet you still try to make T look bad, life is to short tragedies happen when we least expect them I miss my brother your beautiful sister who at worse has only ever said she loves you yet you have no time for her. Totally agree with you. When watching these shows makes you remember sad things, and takes you to a bad place time to tune out. They aren’t worth it. Its entertaining and it should take you to a place where you’re happy and forget about sad things or make you remember good times.

Lynda, I understand where you are coming from, although I also agree that a show like this shouldn’t consume you.
I started out watching RHONJ because it was fun, silly, and in New Jersey (which I think has a unique and interesting culture of people), but over the last two seasons, Bravo has taken the show to darker places. That dark subject matter (i.e. Danielle the sociopath and Mel & Joey coming on to destroy their own family) has made it harder to enjoy watching, while at the same time I have become more and more drawn to Teresa and supporting her.
I have two younger brothers, one of whom died very recently. I have always had a close relationship with both of my brothers, but since losing one of them the other one has become all the more precious to me. Watching what is going on right now and has been going on since the beginning of S3 has been really hard for me because the relationship between Tre and Joey, when they were younger, reminds me of me and my brothers. To see how her brother and his wife treat her makes me so sick sometimes because I can only imagine how hurt I would be if I were in her shoes and the brother I knew and loved for years appeared to no longer be there anymore – instead had been replaced by someone else, someone brainwashed. It sometimes really tortures me too! Especially when I try to understand why Tre acted or responded the way she has throughout S3, in her blogs, and since. I try to put myself in her shoes and think, what if, after everything my youngest brother and I have gone through (losing our other brother), he marries someone who ultimately turns him against me to the point where he calls me “garbage” in public and accuses me of terrible things? How would I feel or react to that? How would I deal with the conflicting emotions? The big sister NEED to protect my little brother – the pain of losing a friendship – the loss for my children of their dear uncle – the anger and betrayal and desire to squash my sister-in-law for the part she played – the disappointment in my brother for being so easily manipulated against me…. I know that I would handle it all with less class than Teresa has. Power to her. And power to you Lynda for your own struggle with the loss of a brother; I wish you peace of mind.

Thank you for your kindness but I feel as if I need to say I’m not consumed by the show I was on NyQuil and still couldn’t sleep I read the blog and when I went to bed I thought about what I read and I guess it made me think of my brother and yes it made me miss him and I guess I just wish he was here I guess bottom line no cold medicine and blogs in the future. There in lies the problem, it is obvious he absolutely can not stand that Teresa is doing well for herself, is as popular as she is and has a better relationship with their parents. The “green eyed monster” has him so wrapped and jealous. All he and Melissa have done is made fools of themselves behaving like gutter trash thinking the world was going to love them for it. He has lost touch with reality and as hard as he and Melissa try to distort and make a new reality it does not out shine the “truth” of who Teresa is and that she runs her life(maybe not perfectly, no one does) but as genuinely as she possibly can holding on to very heartfelt and traditional values.
the one scene that told me the most about Joe Gorga was in the Thanksgiving episode when he had the mechanical bull at the house. In his talking head he said something to the effect of “I ordered the bull so that everyone can say “boy that Joe Gorga, he’s crazy”. He did it so that people would talk about him and think he was fun to be around, not because he cared about entertaining his guests. That made me instantly think of him as an attention seeker and a phony.

Saw on twitter recently that Joe’s new name is now “Joe Marco”. How funny is that? Rumor has it things aren’t happy in paradise for those two sore losers and they are really feeling it ever since CA aired a few weeks back. I doubt we’ll see official apologies anytime soon, so until then, let the Marco bunch live off the fruit of their nature… Which right now is nothing. Oh well!

The only reality about Housewives is that it comes down to editing. If Bravo jumps on the T bandwagon, T will come out smelling like roses. They would be wise to do so, because you can’t knock her down, despite their best efforts in S3. But if they keep promoting M like they did in S3, then it will be another controversial season. While controversy gets ratings, I think we’ve been there, done that and they will lose viewers if they do that again. I know I won’t watch another T bashing season.
One observation from all these comments: We all seem to care about T and M. Does anyone care what part C or J have this season? Not me. I only hope they don’t waste screen time on the Manzo kids – Boooo-Ring.

Her motives now are clear, S4 soon to aire and she is trying to gain some of T’s followers for support so when shit hits the fan she’ll try to play the poor Melissa card. Joe Marco is such a stupid, little man. He’s having a hard time understanding that a whole lot of people don’t like him or his wife. He and his wife’s behavior have brought this all on themselves. Joe, Melissa is NOT going to be a pop star. I realized how stupid Joe was when he built a sound proof booth in his basement. Usually musicians who have made good money and are well along in their career build a private studio and they build it in an outbuilding so they can rent it out. It’s the equipment that costs real money. He didn’t seem to do any research. His sound proof booth doesn’t have any equipment. I can’t believe how stupid he really is.
It’s actually really sad seeing the lengths Joey is will go to just to bring his own flesh and blood down. He just cant stand the fact that Teresa is more successful and liked than him and his wife. He can’t fathom her having ANY fans whatsoever and probably thinks the 400+ thousand fans Teresa has are made up accounts.
The problem with Joey is that he and his in-laws make fake accounts to bash Teresa and praise Melissa, so he’s now under the impression that anyone who hates Mel and likes Teresa is Teresa behind a fake account. He thinks that just because he and his SILs have nothing better to do but make fake accounts that means everyone else is doing the same too.
Hasn’t it been evident since the book signing that Joe Gorga hates his sister. His behavior throughout last season has been relentlessly hostile. Even during the so-called making up conversations, he was challenging her, avoiding all responsibility for his actions and demanding concessions and apologies from her while never once apologizing for his meltdown at the christening. He’s a mean, abusive bully.
I pity Melissa Gorgo whom he treats like a paid whore. He acts as though he owns her body. Wives are allowed to say no to sex and when husbands force sex when the wife does not want it, that is marital rape. That kind of husband is worse then being single, but Melissa is too desperate for love, money and attention to demand some autonomy. There is nothing hot nor sexy about a man who thinks all he needs is 3 minutes to dump his poison.
I think Melissa says ‘no’ to sex with Joe all the time-that’s why he’s always begging her for it. I think she married him for his money and doesn’t love him at all, and the thought of having sex with him repulses her. I think Teresa sees this, and feels hurt for her brother.

SH articulated what I had been thinking, and probably other people too. Something about spilt wine and it ended up in a brawl. From what I recall, I believe Tre was opening a bottle and it sprayed on other guests. I guess they were not to impressed and started a fight, and I believe the Manzo boys stuck up for Tre. I’m not sure about PW or Rich but I think that Tre’s Joe and Caro’s Al were involved as well. Not sure about Jac’s Husband or Greggy. I read somewhere that the other guests were Americans as well and filed a lawsuit when they got home. I also recall something about the Dominican Police, and that they did not lay charges on any of them. Try to google it and see if anything comes up.
FYI, season 5 has not started filming yet.
