Melissa Gorga Admits She’s Stupid Enough To Show Everybody Their Dirty Laundry On TV
RHONJ star Melissa Gorga has finally came clean about something! And that something is that she admits that although everyone has problems in their own family, she and Joe are stupid enough to show everybody their families dirty laundry on TV! Melissa speaks to RealityWanted about the family drama and rumors about next season after the jump!
RealityWanted: There’s been a lot of drama around Real Housewives right now, obviously, especially with the reunion episodes airing. Is it hard for you to watch?
Melissa Gorga: It is hard to watch, yeah. It’s definitely hard to watch. It’s definitely sad when you watch, especially when you watch the reunions because it’s just like, everyone getting to speak to each other and not being able to get through. It’s just the hardest part about it. But yeah, it’s hard. It is what it is, it’s reality. I feel like the show is so huge because it goes on in everyone’s house and we are brave enough to show everybody. It is what it is and I think that’s what makes the show so huge. It’s very real, none of this is scripted, and it goes on in everyone’s homes whether it be your cousin, your aunt, your uncle, everybody has an issue with somebody, a sibling. We’re just stupid enough to show everybody!
There’s rumors about a cast shakeup for next season. Are you nervous about new people coming into the mix or would it almost be a welcome change to the current dynamics?
No, I wouldn’t be nervous and I have a feeling that there are going to be new ones. I wasn’t told there are but we all have a feeling that that’s coming, if there even is a Season 5. We’ll see, they haven’t announced Season 5 yet.
I get so bothered when housewives from the big franchises say things like “if there is going to be a season 5.” As if Bravo wouldn’t pick up another season after having 6 million watch the show! Thoughts on what Melissa had to say?!

I think it’s “loosely scripted”. Meaning they just tell them where to be and what time, etc…some know what may happen, some don’t. They basically stir the pot of the natural tension.

I watched the asshole Andy Cohen with Jill Zarin last night. I was very happy I did. I know how many people feel about Jill,however I was happy because she was honest about how the Bravo network plays. SHE decided she would have a fight with Bethany for ratings and then she confessed that she never clued Bethany in on it and it back fired in her face. SO all of the bullshit is all planned. Right down to new jersey morons. The problem was that Jac screwed the whole setup up. I was happy Jill finally told the truth about how it really is done.
DidiPie – I watched that also. I’m glad Jill got to say as much as she did. I’m sure Ms. Zarin said ALOT more about Bravo which they edited out. That show was pre-recorded. There was no way Andy Cohen was going to let Jill Zarin make them look like complete fools on live TV.
LOVE how she cryptically added in there that there will probably be “some new ones” I HOPE AND PRAY that this season SHES the one thats put in the hotseat for a change and that season 5 will be Theresas season of REDEMPTION.
I agree that there will be another season, however, ‘changes will definately be made’. Whether it be with cast changes or storylines, there will be changes for it’s been made loud & clear to Bravo that after two seasons of the show revolving around Teresa bashing that it’s like watching a trainwreck……….. Of course there will be a S5 but where does the show go from here? It’s just going to be a continuation of bullcrap from S4. I have a feeling Jax will be brought back because Bravo wants to see the Lauritas squirm with their financial bankruptcy problems but Jax will never be able to let the past go. How’s that ever going to work out? (plus the Lauritas need the money from the show). Melissa will also be brought back too along with Bravo’s new plan on having the SIL’s make up but deep down we (THE VIEWERS) know Melissa will always despise Teresa so she’ll have to do some Academy Award winning acting. (the Gorga’s also need the money). Kathy is irrelevant. Her part in Operation Take Teresa Down is complete. She is no longer necessary. I heard Caroline is no longer interested and probably won’t return – but maybe she will? What part will Bravo make Teresa play? I just can’t believe how down & dirty this network has become since the orignal Orange County HW’s first debut.
