Mama Laurita Speaks Out! Caroline And Dina’s Mother Wants Her Family To Start Over!
After Sunday’s episode of the final reunion of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Chris Laurita revealed that he and Caroline Manzo don’t speak to their sister and former housewife Dina Manzo. Chris stated that Teresa probably had a little to do with it while Dina took to her twitter to call him out on his bullshit! It’s clear Caroline and Chris are using Teresa as the excuse as to why Dina isn’t speaking to them but there’s more to the story and Dina makes it clear that it has nothing to do with Teresa. My take on it is that Jac and Dina were beefing about something Jac may have done..Perhaps she spoke to mags about Dina? That then caused friction between Dina and Chris and Dina and Caroline! Basically, the source of all the problems is Jacqueline Laurita. And it’s clear this would be true considering Jac goes on twitter rants and would message viewers bashing her sister in law Dina and calling her out for going to Teresa’s launch party to random people. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, Jac Laurita is the Melissa Gorga in her family..Moving along..
After the episode aired, Mama Laurita AKA Dina and Caroline’s mother took to twitter to say this,
“Twitter and tv is not the place to air “The Truth, the WHOLE truth,and nothing but the truth,so help me God.”SOO don’t judge ANYONE.Peace!”
She continued, “Everyone has thier version of the truth.Isn’t it better for your HEART & SOUL to bury it ALL and start over coming from aTRUE place of LOVE?”
That’s when Candice Laurita, Nettie’s granddaughter who is openly close to her cousin Lauren Manzo responded saying, “Yup! That would be great.”
Nettie then said, “I know you mean that with all your heart.xo”
Candice wrote back, “I know. But everyone would have to want that, ya know?”
Nettie then told Candice, “Believe me,Everyone does want that.Think back Candice to the way it was. Everone needs to go deep in thier hearts.”
And Candice agreed adding, “I know, it used to be the best! I wish that’s how it was now”
It’s clear Candice is talking about Mrs. Dina Manzo which I find odd since she doesn’t really have anything to do with it. This show has obviously made things worse for the family and if they truly want to work on their relationship like they all claim, each and every last one of them should get off the show! Including the Gorgas/Giudices. Just walk away people! Thoughts on what Nettie had to say?!

You’re right. But I’m sort if confused about Jacqueline. I knew from day 1 that Jacqueline had feed Danielle the information about Dina. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if she feed the news articles about Dina, she is very much in “the know” about Teresa and her use of “sources” in magazines. In fact, I think Teresa got the game from Jacqueline. I watches Sunday in subtitles and while everyone is arguing with Kim D. Teresa says now I see why Dina says you’re crazy and dont trust you. I think that Jacqueline came between Dina and chris as well as Dina and Caroline, and she used the convent scapegoat of Teresa to take the fall. I can understand how Jacqueline got to Chris, but the part that’s confusing to me is the Caroline part. In season 1 Caroline was Dina’s protector. I can’t understand what was big enough to come between them. Unless Dina was pissed that Caroline stayed on the show with Danielle AND Jacqueline after the child custody situation?
Dinas best friend was Chris Lauritas fiance. He cheated with Jacqueline, which caused the break up. Thats why Dina hates Jacqueline, she just bit her tongue on the show, until Jacqueline started planting storys about her and feeding Danielle info on Lexi.

Caroline never admits that she’s wrong. I don’t blame Dina for staying away because look at how her family is treating her? Taking crap about her, lying to themselves, and portraying her as a horrible sibling. Jacqueline’s psycho twitter rants make it worse, and it sucks that they are so old, yet behave like a teenager. Actually, they’re worse than that! Candice should butt out, and keep quiet because she shouldn’t be involved. She’s close to Caroline, and she is always spitting fire when someone tells Caroline to stop the bullshit and make up with Dina.

Maybe Mamma Laurita’s good and loving attitude can convince her sons Chris and Anthony, along with daughter-in-law Jac, who stole $18,000 from the Susan G. Komen breast cancer charity, to pay back the money they owe, with interest. I am sure this would help the relationship with Dina who actually raises funds for charity, while Jac and Chris steal from a cancer charity. If they pay up, Dina may be more likely to forgive and move forward. Insist they pay up Mamma Laurita!
They are such frauds! And Anthony had a wife who also benefitted form heir stealing form their company! Its interesting to me to see that hey have defrauded Susan Komen charity, while they are pimping themselves out for Autism Awareness. This stunt they pulled in re to $18,000, was also around the time of the big million$ illegal activity of Signature Apparel I believe. Makes me sick especially because Jac has worked her ass off to keep bashing T and Joe personally and financially.
It`s not just Caroline,I can not believe I said that,Chris was a sneak and Jac`s was a major stirrer .Granted Chris came across well on the reunion but he would have let Jac`s sink if Andy did not tell him to shut her up.I think it all goes back to Project Lady Bug.Dina quit the show and the others worried about ratings so they planted crap to make Dina look bad.I don`t really see how Momma Laurita could even think this could be dumped and start fresh.Talk about thinking in grade school terms.
Knowing my own family situation, and being a mother; a mother loves all her children and wants them to get along. However, sometimes siblings hurt one another, and if certain lines are crossed, and accusations and lies are involved, it makes it very hard to say that I will accept this from people who are supposed to love me unconditionally. Actions speak louder than words, and if they can hurt you and do, how do you trust that they won’t do it in the future? Sometimes, it just becomes better to cut ties, because their comments fuel the hurt, as Dina stated. Have experience with the same thing. You love them, but their words do not equal love, and the best thing to do is to stay away, mainly for self protection from hurt. The last people that should be talking about you badly, especially if it is lies, are siblings. It becomes very sad, but if it affects someone’s well being, then you have to make that call. Unfortunate.

I respect Nettie Laurita for having raised 10(or is 11? 12? 24?) children, but at this point she should not be involved with their spats. They are adults in their 40s and 50s and they must settle these affairs ont heir own, away from Twitter (why is Nettie even tweeting about this?) and away from this corrupt television program.

its been going on for over a year. i find it rather interesting she speaks up now when contracts for the cast. the manzo chillen would have to really go to work if they lost their paycheck. IMO that is what this is all about. keeping the manzo money coming in.

It has been going on since season 1 when Jaqueline told Danielle about Dina not getting permission from Lexi’s father to be apart of the show like she had to with her two girls,then she gave her the ex-sister in laws info so Danielle could get at Dina that way….. As of lately Jaqueline had and interview with someone in Chicago and told her that Dina was not giving all the money raised for Project Ladybug to the charity, so I guess this caused another riff between them, all was checked out and as usual Jaqueline was wrong….. Dina doesn’t speak to Caroline because she took some business opportunities from Dina!!!
I understand what you mean, Rach, but I have to disagree. This is infantilizing behavior that we see Caroline demonstrate toward her adult children. They are Nettie’s children, sure, but they are not actually children. These are adults who have children of their own. At some point, despite being a parent, you have to let your capable, adult children handle their own battles. Caroline is 50+ years old. It doesn’t matter whether her mother wants her to do something- she is an adult who has to live her life for herself. I don’t disagree with Nettie’s philosophy. I just think that she should stay out of the complex issues her children have with one another and worry about her own relationships with them. IMO, she should privately discuss her feelings with each one (prob. has already, sure) rather than publicly try to force anyone not getting along to fake it until they make it. (This isn’t kindergarten.)
Heather I agree, and a real problem I have with the Manzo issue, is how classless they can be on twitter. Carolines children, especially Lauren are so awful and mean. airing this grievance on the internet is so disrepectful of the people involved.

I think this family has always had troubles and they are just magnified on the show. What could be so bad that you exclude family from weddings and funerals? They are probably in each others business too much, but I could see staying away from a sib like Caroline who is so overbearing and has to be right at all costs. From what I read somewhere. The beef between Jacq/Dina goes back to Jacq exposing some tax probs about the project ladybug charity to LynnNChicago, who then did a whole expose on it and it sort of opened a can of worms there.
Here is the thing, Jacq/Dina are the same age as me and my sister-in-law. I have been thinking that myself – I am so thankful my family is not on twitter and like to talk and her each others’ voices. Texting is private and twitter is open to the public — so if someone is twittering private stuff then it is because they WANT the public to know it. Several suggested because it is contract time – who knows. But, Momma Nettie needs to have her brood come home for a pow-wow and spare the rest of us from this fighting groups of ego maniacs.
She does contact even her grandkids on twitter. When the weddign of Jamie was airin, Jamie rt someone that said some truth about Caroline. I think this family has alot of problems that go back many years. It’s easy in a large family for simple misunderstandings to divide people and then add tv and twitter and the conflicts just get deeper. They should all stop talking about each other in public and either make up or just go their separate ways. They should do it in private and not publicly. The Gorgas/Giudices/Wakiles should do the same.
I still am amazed that any of them are blaming Tre for the Laurita sibling issues. If anything, I blame Dina for inserting herself back into RHONJ, a negative place she removed herself from, just to get publicity for herself and her boring party show. She only seems to “support” Tre when it’s on camera or in a public venue. I’m sure there is enough blame to go around among the Laurita siblings; leave others out of it.

Telling someone to put on their big girl panties is not direct or supportive it is just degrading. And if cm was so honest she would admit while using the cookbook as her justification to ruthlessly go after teresa and try to build an army against her that the comments came from the rachel ray show and that she found them funny at the time while she insulted her back on the rachel ray show, both knew they were harmless jokes for the show. As far as jaq is concerned not only does she lie and has been proven, most recently with there is no such person as cat the producer now there is she used danielle to attack dina and hurt her. Jaq ran to the gossip sites that she is supposedly so against and lied about dina’s charity and told danielle caroline’s most private secrets, then she turned on danielle, now it is teresa, and don’t forget all the times she threw her daughter under the bus. I see the common thread being jacqueline. No matter how mad i got at a one time friend or family member i wouldn’t constantly attack them, try to bring them down, or expose all their secrets and i think that is the difference between jac and teresa or any other decent human being.

However, I’m big on family & after seeing my 34 year old sister fall 2 the floor from a hospital bed & die, from c/o stomach pains (leaving a 3 month old behind), then 2 was later finding that my 60 y.o mom had 8 months left 2 live secondary 2 stage III cancer, I say family should put all the BS aside & love on one another until the end! No regrets here! I come from a family of unconditional love. My mom lived 11 months & as her caregiver let me tell you there is nothing sadder than seeing her suffer & wanting so desperately 2 stay…….so while most of this TV drama is comical, 4 me this family debacle is just sad….so sad. I miss my mom & sissy so much. The chain links have been broken & they took a big chunk of my heart w/them……………tears. It’s been nice chatting here w/ you guys. Later……..
