Mama Elsa Collapses at RHOM Premiere Party; Rushed To Hospital by Paramedics!

We all know Mama Elsa, Marysol Patton’s mother, as the quirky and strange breakout star of RHOM. With season 2 returning this week, there was a premiere party with all the ladies and the 78-year-old witch did not miss the festivities!

It may have been a rough night for Elsa because she fainted at the party, knocking down bottles and glasses as she came crashing down! Marysol tells Cutlist, “there were a couple of things that happened. She hadn’t really eaten all day, and wasn’t feeling good to begin with. When we arrived, she was a little nervous because she has never walked a red carpet before. Once inside, she was swarmed by people. Then, plus the fact it was so hot, we were all suffocating. Then all of a sudden, she just collapsed. She is getting older; it happens.”

Seeing as how Mama Elsa basically saved RHOM and was one of the very little highlights during season 1, she will be back for season 2 and judging from the preview she will have a large role, equal to that of a full time housewife basically. It is a bit odd that Marysol shrugs it off and says it happens all the time. Surely it can’t be good that this happens so often! Do you think Mama Elsa needs to stay at home and not be paraded around by her daughter for a spot on a TV show?

    I love Mama Elsa too. But what I hear Marysol say was that “It happens w/ age” Not that it happens all the time. I dont think she was shrugging it off either. I think thats just her personality to down play it while inside she’s upset. Or at least thats my take on it! :)

    I watched the first episode on demand and it happens on there too. I know she doesn’t like to fly. I wonder if she has issues with small/cramped spaces.

    I think the only reason Marysol is down playing it was probably because she may have been a little tipsy and between not eating, and the heat may have collapsed.

    Blimey! If that happened to my mum I’d be more freaked out than that. Poor dear I expect it was just due to the heat, dehydration and not eating enough. Hope she has a full on recovery. She’s one of a kind she is! <3
