Lisa Hochstein Says Joanna Krupa Should Have Not Got Involved In The Conversation Between Adriana And Karent!
My favorite real housewife Lisa Hochstein took to her blog to talk about Sunday’s past episode. Lisa reveals she was upset that that both Joanna and Adriana disregarded her wishes to stop all the chaos and says that Joanna should have not got involved in the conversation between Adriana and Karent!
“So many failed to exercise restraint at my party in one way or another. Shame on all involved! Looking back I should have tossed them all out! They made it about them and not my event.
I thought the best way to get past this was to invite the girls into the kitchen away from the madness to have a drink together. Apparently this was not a wise decision. Adriana and Joanna seemed to have disregarded my wishes completely. Adriana decided that she would confront Karent about the Botox for brains news article and Joanna decided to come to Karent’s rescue. Although this conversation should have been had at another time, it should have been between Karent and Adriana. Things were said that clearly touched nerves and escalated this argument quickly. Joanna should not have chased Adriana as she tried to walk away. And Adriana should have used more self-control and not smacked her. There is never an excuse for physical violence. I really did not see who assaulted whom first. It is possible that Joanna grabbed Adriana from behind. Either way, it was wrong and I was unhappy with both of them. Confrontations mixed with alcohol make for very bad hangover.”

I agree Joanna shouldn’t have gotten involved, just as Alexia shouldn’t have gotten involved in the first conversation Adriana tried to have with Karent. But did Adriana mind Alexia “butt”ing in? No, because she was there to back Adriana up. But Joanna has to “butt out” because she’s backing up Karent…
What should definitely NOT have happened, is Adriana shouldn’t have confronted Karent about the article at that party after Lisa specifically told everyone NO MORE FIGHTING. There is no good reason as to why Adriana had to bring that up then, except to make sure it was on camera, and that it was a scene.

If Adriana wanted a scene she wouldn’t have repeatedly ask Karent to go to another room to talk about it, but Karent was the one who didn’t want to oblige. I agree that Adriana shouldn’t have brought it up at the party, but how many of these housewives really know social etiquette and not bring up issues with other ladies at a party/event/charity?
Oh for sure, they all pull the “wrong place, wrong time” with their little episodes. It’s because they want the confrontations on camera so they get the camera time. If Adriana really did want to have the convo in private, then when Karent refused to go somewhere private, she could have dropped it and waited until they could meet just the two of them.
But that would be real life, not housewifeland.

I agree with Lisa. If Joanna was a true friend to Lisa she wouldn’t continue to cause drama at her event
Joanna’s behavior is hideous. She needs extensive therapy: specifically focusing on anger management, and the issues with her close interpersonal relationships (Marta and Roman).
She also should not drink.
I actually did feel bad for her towards the end though when she knew she messed up big time, and admitted it several times. Adriana on the other hand with her excuses, and “It’s not my fault she slept with Joe Francis!” was an unsympathetic character to me. There is never an excuse to hit someone.
I guess as bad as Joanna is, I still think Adriana is worse. Just my opinion.

Completely agree!! I like Joanna for some reason but she isn’t showing herself in the best light. I actually don’t have a real reason to like her at this point (especially after how she handled the situation on WWHL) however I want to keep liking her bc I think she has good intentions.
There were multiple times things could have easily been dropped and the whole shebang avoided. First, Adriana should have talked to Karent at another time and place (obvious). Everything avoided. 2nd, When Adriana told Joanna to butt out (even though Jo was making a good point abt not believing everything you read)she should have said “ok” and enjoyed the party with her fiance. Really, who cares abt a bunch of crazy women when their hott fiance is around? 3rd, Romain should have literally removed Joanna from the situation regardless of her drunken wishes. He did good for sticking to his word and leaving though, he should’ve taken Joanna with him. 4th, Joanna should not have gone after Adrianna (another obvious one of course).
Still, I don’t totally dislike Adriana, I just don’t agree with her way of doing things. She just needs to be more upfront and stop trying to play victim with all these excuses. She blew up simply bc Joanna was annoying and she doesn’t like her. Not bc Joanna “attacked” her. Adrianna was grabbed AFTER she smacked Joanna and kept charging towards her. And it had nothing to do with Joanna being mad at Adrianna bc of Joe Francis. That doesn’t even make sense.
The Polish immigrant comment was soooo very disgusting. It’s disappointing that Joanna stooped to that level and retaliated.
I know, I have a soft spot for Joanna too for some reason. She’s awful, but I feel like she’s a little lost child or something. She and Marta are so emotionally stunted I can’t help but think they’ve been through some sort of trauma. Her behavior is unacceptable, but something in me wants to defend her.

I love Lisa too! She is feisty but sweet. Looking forward to getting to know more of her. I feel like she could put Joanna in her place better than any other wives on the show but it looks like they’ll stay friends for now. Joanna is as fraudulent as Melissa. I don’t find her interesting att all. Love you Lisa and hope you read this fabulous blog!

i love lisa and i agree with her as well. everyone ruined her party and for what? just to get camera time. they all disrespected her wishes and she should’ve kicked them all out. i liked how she totally got so angry and yelled at everyone. too bad nobody listened.

With Joanna it’s confrontation first, discuss later. She’s extremely irrational and volatile. When she drinks she has out of control rages. I can’t stand her diva attitude as well as her disregard for anyone’s feelings or opinions other than her own. She zero emotional intelligence.
You nailed it Irish Mafia! I liked Joanna at first but now Im starting to despise her. I feel like she thinks she thinks she’s above any real consiquinces and does as she pleases because she’s “Joanna Krupa”. She behaves like a petulant child.
I think you are right Irish! To add, I think Adrianna is really out to prove something this season, and I don’t like it at all.

But I think Adrianna was WAY out of line trying to have that “conversation” (translation:confrontation) at a PARTY! She did that once before and it didn’t work out well then either.
Adrianna needs to pick up her phone, set a lunch date, and hash out her greviences with Karent in a more private, less likely to be interrupted, setting.
But then, that wouldn’t make for good TV and ratings.
I felt badly for Lisa. She really worked hard for a good cause. Even annoying, smug Lea was mildly sympathetic on behalf of Lisa. Note to Lea: invite your sleazy friend to YOUR party. Not anyone else’s. just saying.
