This season on Real Housewives of Atlanta we will be served a whole lot of drama courtesy of new girl in town Kenya Moore! The former Miss USA is dishing about her infamous fight with RHOA veteran NeNe Leakes which has been previewed in the promos for the new season. Kenya clearly had no apprehension getting down to the nitty gritty and says she didn’t fear any of the Housewives!
Kenya tells the New York Post that her fight with NeNe is an episode not to be missed! She says, “Listen, we were in Anguilla. There were people that were being rude, obnoxious, distasteful, and that doesn’t sit well with me and so I had a very visceral response and NeNe was definitely a part of that. It’s definitely an episode that people will want to watch.”
Kenya had a career established back in Hollywood before she moved to Atlanta about a year ago, and says the relationships with the Housewives have been totally different than any other relationships she had in LA. “I’ve been best friends with people like Tyra Banks and Tracey Edmonds and Shaun Robinson. We have a great sisterhood. We’re supportive of each other. We’re kind to each other, and we’re good girlfriends. I didn’t experience that fighting in my normal life in Hollywood. It is definitely a marked difference to me in the Atlanta situation,” reveals Kenya.
Although she was new not only the Atlanta scene, but also new to the show, Kenya was not afraid of anything coming in. Kenya tells the New York Post, “You know what, I’ve been in worse situations. I’m a fighter, I’m from Detroit. I’m very resilient. I’m really not afraid of anything. So, some reality stars from Atlanta? No, I wasn’t afraid of any of them. I’ve been to the Academy Awards, I’m not afraid of a ‘Housewife’!”
Kenya does reveal however, that some of the fun did become very dark at times. It seems like Bravo struck the gold casting Kenya to RHOA! I’m excited to see her stir up trouble, and she seems like a strong woman who can handle it. If I were new I would personally not want to mess around with NeNe and piss her off. Are you excited to see Kenya stand up to NeNe? Smart move or not?
