Kathy Wakile Talks Fashion Show! Says She Had No Idea Of The Manipulation That Was About To Unfold
RHONJ star Kathy Wakile took to her blog to talk about the anticipated Posche fashion show episode! Kathy says she had no idea of the manipulation that was about to unfold and adds that it was bizarre that Teresa wouldn’t call security on Angelo
“Food, family time, and the best conversation; These are some of the wonderful things we live for. I just love that Lindsey made breakfast with Albie and Chris. It just goes to prove that it’s not what you make that’s important, it’s who you share it with. As far as I could see, they did a great job and prepared some of my Jersey favorites.
The Manzo boys are certainly no strangers to being in the kitchen, after years of growing up at The Brownstone. If you haven’t heard the news, it looks like they are taking their love for food and the old neighborhood into a new endeavor. Lots of luck to Albie and Chris as they embark on their new restaurant. I love that that they don’t forget where they came from and the taste for simple New Jersey pleasures. Ashlee seems so happy to be on her own and taking care of herself. Jacqueline seems like she’s biting her tongue here and there and learning to pick her battles.
I am thrilled to announce that my meeting with Bindi USA went incredibly well, despite Rich’s constant interruptions and jokes. As you can all see, everyone is fair game to Rich’s comedic comments. Good thing I asked him to let me run this meeting. Can you imagine what could have happened if I hadn’t asked him to zip it? I’m so happy that both Atillio and Giacamo picked up on Rich’s sense of humor pretty quickly. I had to interrupt the good ‘ole boys a few times that day and get them to focus on business. Hard work does pay off and that brings me to Melissa and her meeting with the music producers. After working on her songs and spending endless hours practicing in both the recording studio and on stage performing, she has proven herself and can show that she has what it takes to take her career to the next level. I wish her all the best as she makes her mark in the music industry.
All of this now brings me to the fashion show. When I agreed to go I made a conscious decision to stay out of any drama. I was happy that Teresa and I had a great lunch at my house when we got home from the west coast. I was looking forward to a drama free night, and I thought it was a good sign that all of the ladies were attending. I felt that everyone was making an effort to move forward and leave the craziness of California behind us. I hoped that we could all be together again at the same event and at the same table without issue.
When we arrived, I have to be honest, I was a bit put off and upset to see the number of men that were in attendance. The venue had a nightclub atmosphere, and Rich would have had a great time there, especially since our niece Malake was one of the models that walked in the show. If you watch closely you can see me blow her a kiss as she walked by our table. I just would have liked to have known that it was an option for our husbands to accompany us. However, as events unfolded, it was obvious as to why some of us were kept out of the loop as far as having our husbands attend with us.??I still can’t figure out why this creep thought it would be of any interest to Teresa and Kim that he claimed to know Melissa. I must admit to being naïve. I had no idea of the manipulation that was about to unfold. When he walked over to the table I thought it seemed very strange and contrived that he kept going on and on about how he knew Melissa. What was even more bizarre was the fact that Teresa didn’t call security to get rid of this loser. What was he doing there? She had to have known what his intentions were, since she met him earlier in the day while getting her hair and makeup done. After viewing that scene it’s pretty clear to everyone that he wasn’t there to pass out party favors.
What happens next is just a mess, and I don’t even want to play it over in my brain any longer. Till this day I keep thinking about it and wondering if there was any way this could have been avoided. Could someone have stopped the impending disaster from occurring? You will have to watch and see what happens and judge for yourselves. I would love to hear your thoughts. As for me, I stuck to my plan and stayed out of it that evening.??See you next week when unfortunately things get even uglier. “
It’s pretty clear, Kim D knew what she was doing and that’s that. Also, why would Teresa be responsible for calling security on a guy who says he used to work with his sister in law? Thoughts on what Kathy had to say?!

Kathys blog was as boring as she is! I couldnt read it all.. Yet again all she did was try to sell thing and explain why she didnt go to college. NO ONE CARES. She is just straight boring and her husband is NATTY! I cant watch another season of her and melissa. That really pisses me off because NJ was my favorite show.
I also couldn’t read it all I skipped over the part when she was talking about her “project” I just didn’t care because it seemed like she was kissing those peoples asses just like she does to the people on the show!
All Kathy does is pimp stuff and trash talk Teresa. She’s so completely useless. I can make my own desserts, I don’t need her stupid kit or anything else from her.

Usually trying to sell us the Manzos shit!! she is IGNORANT and boring. Her QVC deserts will fail. It would be hilarious if bravo fired her before qvc released her dumb deserts.
Same here I make some bomb desserts and so can a lot of other people so her recipes might only do well with people who are “fans” of hers and not with the majority of bakers. Maybe that’s why she thinks she needs to pimp herself out a lot because just like the other housewives,except for Teresa, no one wants to buy their stuff so they constantly pimp themselves out on twitter, blogs and apparently the infomercial episodes on RHONJ.
I skipped over a majority of it to! She is sooo boring and really doesn’t have anything relevant to say. I find it interesting that she mentions not going to college. It seems like someone is a bit insecure about that. I find it a bit amusing that Teresa graduated with a B.A. in Fashion Marketing Management at Berkeley College in NY which happens to be a top fashion school from what I understand. The total tuition and costs to get a degree out of there (the kind teresa got) is $82,300. Not to bad for a fashion school. Teresa is also a three time best seller, went on to work for Macy’s as an associate buyer , and worked as a contributor to vogue magazine. She is a break out start of the RHONJ. She has branded her own fabellinie, and now has broke out with a hair care product Milania. She is also on the committee for Project Lady Bug and a contributor and supporter for nephcure in which she raised $70,000 on C.A. She has become good friends with the Trumps and was invited on Donalds show. Donald has mentioned more than once how intelligent and smart Teresa is. Coming from him that is a big compliment. Teresa has involved parents and beautiful girls. I have to say this family has much reason to not like her. When your dealing with a successful family member not everyone in your family will be thrilled and you will have quite a few of them who will do what they can to climb all over you to try to get to the top. I believe Kathy, Melissa, Joe Gorga, the Marco losers, Richie, Manzos, and Lauritas all want to be where Teresa is as far as the success she has gained. It is driving these people nuts that she is climbing even after they have tried to sabotage her. I also believe they are envious that she is educated and not one of them followed through with college. I could be wrong but the comment about college from kathy, well I see a bit of envy there for Teresa!

I think its funny they are all pointing the finger at Teresa and making sure they tell everyone that THEY are innocent. Why would we naturally believe that someone close to Melissa would be involved? Like Jac saying.. “i have no reason to set your sister in law up so it was you!” Kathy saying she had “no idea what was going on but teresa did” I already know Caroline and melissa will say something similar.
I believe they were all in on it. I also believe this mutual friend Jac was speaking of is a producer that was fired and BRAVO is using Kim to cover it up. Remember the story Kim leaked about Jac coming to her apartment etc? I imagine Kim is under contract to keep her mouth shut so why would they allow her to release stories to the media about the fashion show..and where Jac was? complete setup and the manzo/lauritas were in on it.

This feels like the calm before the storm. Last night, I read on someone’s twitter page not sure who, as there were so many people tweeting during the show) that there’s a conversaton going on(Teresa, I think) during next week’s episode and Teresa may have forgotten that her mic was still on and, whatever she said is what’s causing them to think she set up Melissa. Now, I love, love, love me some Teresa but Carolie, Jac-azz and Melissa keep saying, “you’ll see this season” and we’ve yet to see anything other than them treating T like crap. So, whatever they are talking about, it has to be on next week’s episode so this frightens me for Teresa. Am I the only one who senses something bad might happen next week??
That other blogger Rob says it’s Angelo who forgot his mic was on. However, all of the women are hinting that’s it’s Tre, so it does make me scared. Given all the horrible editing, I think they will edit it to make it look like tre said something.

On the Famewhorgas website, which I encourage you all to read as well, a poster said that Johnny the Greek twitter account says that it is Angelo who “forgets” that he has a microphone on and does some talking, but that’s all he can say for now. This has the cast’s fingerprints all over it, with the exception of Teresa. The guy walks up and asks if she remembers him and walks away, so why should security be called. Calling security would have worsened the situation, and called attention to them, and that is not what Teresa wanted. They all say it isn’t them, but it is Teresa, and they expect us to believe them. Not that stupid.
Also, I don’t get it why Bindi Desserts would help Kathy to perfect, and market her desserts to sell, when this is what they do, and if you go to their website, it looks like they make fabulous desserts and they don’t need Kathy Wakile to make any for them, or for her to compete with them. Does anybody know exactly how much truth there is to that story?
Kathy and Rich Wakile are shady to say the least, with all their comments about blaming someone else, and they add nothing to this story except either name calling or making perverted comments. I can do without them and their ludicrous behavior. They don’t know the meaning of the loyalty to family.

She was so adamant about it she left the room, so when she saw this guy coming she should have done something. This was set up by BRAVO and IMO I believe Melissa and the gang were in on it also. Thats why all the scenes that were shot in the begining of the season are being shown now to make it look like what a sweetheart Melissa and jac are and what an evil b*tch Teresa is. Melissa could care less if people know she was a stripper just look at her behavior for the past 2 seasons. Melissa or Kathy have no intention of wanting to get along with Teresa because then they have no story line and are no longer needed for BRAVO ratings.

Gees at one point she yells Jacqueline with a big smile and laughing. Fishy Kathy maybe did not know what was going on. Wacky Jacky, Chuckie and Lapband Lauren knew the whole time. sneaky
kelli,it’s really hard for most good people to watch this obvious set-up, and long-term ill-treatment. anything t could have done would have either escalated this, or else it would have been twisted by this sick mess of people.

He said “hi” to Melissa – someone who used to work for him! He didn’t say, “Here’s a pole. Start stripping sl*t” and continue harassing her. He said HELLO. How does that warrant calling security? Ugh.
These women love to kick someone when they are down and show nothing but pure hatred for T, and when no one is looking they propably go off and laugh about it. Bravo is one shady station to watch and will do anything for ratings including runining Teresa’s family. One can see the hatred in Caroline’s eyes when she talks about Teresa, Jacqueline tries to play is sweet and caring like Kathy and the minute you think well that was nice, she stabs T in the back along with Kathy and her poor mouth of I tried, maybe I shouldn’t have said anything. They make me sick and Lauren and her Mother expecially the Mother are the ring leaders. Lauren needs to be away from her mother and be desentitized. What a poor excuse for Real Housewives. I guess we are finding out how low they will really go. If Teresa goes this is one show that I will not miss.

It’s so obvious that Teresa was moving forward and would never set something like this up when she was so happy with how the Napa trip went. It just makes no sense.

If Melissa really did work at the strip club then she had to know being “famous” would bring it all out at some point. Plus I thought the Manzo’s were all for strip clubs anyway, so whats bad about working at one in their eyes ? (or maybe they just like the car wash kind?)

Teresa was set up. The set up was supposed to be for Lookers at the salon but AFTER Looker producer friend Cat told her what was going on Lookers flipped the script. All of the cast was supposed to be at the salon before the show but everyone but Teresa didn’t show up. At the fashion show Lookers was so calm when she was in the bathroom with Teresa. Teresa on the other hand was freaking out and very upset. As soon as Teresa said that Angelo told her that she was a dancer Lookers gets a grin on her face and says “I am calling YOUR brother” Lookers wasn’t angry or upset. Why was Joey right next store when Lookers called? Why did Joey already have a mic attached when Lookers called him to come? Why did the red queen even agree to sit at the same table with Teresa? Why do all the house wives questions why the other men were in the room but yet when Angelo approached the table NO ONE paid any attention to him?
Lookers and Joey had inside information about Angelo at the salon from their producer friend Cat (who was FIRED after the fashion show) and decided to set up Teresa to make her look bad and get her off the show so Lookers would be the star.
By the way the reason Kim D said she was sorry to Lookers is because of the FIGHT between her and Lookers and Joey at Kim D’s white party. The party was taped for the show but because it made Joey and Lookers look bad it was never shown. The fight was about the $45,000 that Joey and Lookers owe Kim’s friend Fred the party planner from their Christmas Party. Joey only paid him $500. Hopefully the scene at the white party will be part of the lost footage along with the “mob tape” that Lookers and Joey filmed promising to take down Teresa if Bravo would cast them.
As far as Kathy, she is one of the most boring housewives in history. Her constant eyerolling at everything Teresa says and does got old in the first show. The only thing good about Kathy’s scenes are it give me a bathroom break. Oh and Rich is the biggest perve on TV. DISGUSTING. What are Kathy and Rich going to do if Victoria wants to marry a man like him?

Question though, what’s the deal with the producers who have been fired? They obviously weren’t fired for their setups and biased storyline.
You know what would be really great? If after all of the filming was done and the producers who tried to break down Teresa were fired, the new producers sat down with T to let her know what was going. So T has known since the filming of the first reunion that they would paint T as the bullied cast mate would boost her popularity and product sales.
She may get flustered in a verbal altercation, but of all of the women on this show, she has the most education and also experience as a working professional. One that wears a suit, not a g-string.
