Kathy Wakile Reacts To Joe Giudice Mysterious Phone Call; Explains Her Convo With Caroline
RHONJ star Kathy Wakile took to her blog to react to the mysterious phone call Joe Giudice made and explains her conversation with Caroline and Jacqueline plus says she was embarrassed about Teresa not including her in the toast she made at dinner!
“Caroline’s surprise birthday dinner was special for all of us. Being perched upon the hilltop overlooking the vineyard was absolutely breathtaking. The heartfelt tributes from her children made me proud of them. As a mom, you can only hope that your children can love you in that way and express it that well. That in itself is one of the most precious gifts of all.
When Joe Giudice stepped away for his phone call, none of us knew what was said or what had happened between him and Teresa until this week when we previewed our episode. In retrospect Rich’s comment, which was meant as a wisecrack, now may have been a little insensitive. Rich and I both feel badly about the situation. This all happened a year ago, and we sincerely hope that they are in a much better place.
I want to address the little talk I had with Caroline and Jacqueline before our last dinner at the Lancaster Estate. If you’re wondering why I asked so many questions about what went on in their conversations with Teresa, I will tell you. We all spent a great deal of time on this trip trying to understand and sort out our relationships. Some relationships were on the mend and others were fractured. This was true for each and every one of us. Here we were, all together, trying to make a go of it, each in our own way. I felt that I needed to understand the dynamics of what was going on so that I could be supportive and compassionate to everyone. That’s just me, I’m a libra and I constantly try to find balance.
This brings me to our last dinner. Sometimes I need to see things played back, because I want to be sure of what I heard or didn’t hear at that dinner. The fact that I was left out of my cousin’s toast after I had tried so hard with her was a disappointment at best. If you were there, you knew it was a deliberate snub. You could cut the tension with a knife. I was embarrassed, but I wasn’t going to let it ruin my evening or cause a scene that would ruin anyone else’s evening. Once again Teresa’s actions speak volumes. So at this point I would like to offer my own toast, “In Vino, Veritas (In Wine Is Truth).” The wine keeps flowing into next week as we wrap up our vacation in California.”
I truly believe Teresa’s intention wasn’t to leave Kathy out of the toast and when she said she was glad to be there with EVERYONE, Kathy was included in the “everyone.” I think the housewives need to stop looking so deep into everything Teresa does. It’s exhausting for me to watch so I don’t know how they constantly do it! Thoughts on what Kathy had to say?!

I agree the world doesn’t revolve around T, but to these miserable, petty, bitter women it sure does. Every little thing Teresa does they criticize and overanalyze. It is so pathetic.

I really don’t think T wanted everything she did or said to focus on her, especially when all of them have skeletons in their closets. I disagree with your statement. Kathy’s blog is completely self-serving. There was no malicious intent. If there was then Lauren, Albie, Albert, Jac, Chris and Greg would have a similar complaint. Mel and Teresa were in the same RV it was this relationship and the one with her brother that needed to addressed not Kathy. Kathy was already on the mend. They showed up at her book signing and she showed up at her dessert tasting.

Teresa made a toast on the spot and was adding on as she went. Even including the witch CaroClown by congratulating her on her birthday. She thanked Chris and also said how she was grateful for the time with her brother and his wife. So what? Why would Kathy be offended by that. Hasn’t she been wanting that to happen?
It’s clear to me that CaroClown and BugEyed Kathy are just looking for anything that they can to criticize Teresa.
Is Kathy so sensitive that she honestly had her feelings hurt? Why not jokingly add, hey cousin, what about me? And laugh it off and I’m sure Teresa would of then said and Kathy.
Or did they expect Teresa to name every person at the table? I’m sure whatever Teresa said or did, someone would find fault with her.

Hasnt St. Kathy said many times to let the Gorgas and Giudice heal their relationship then her relationship with Teresa will just fall into place? So what’s happened to change that? Is she upset because truly felt “snubbed” or was she reacting like Caroline told her she should react? The oversight didn’t seem like a big deal, but after seeing what Teresa is doing, it’s obvious to me that she’s trying. I don’t think that I would have any thought process. As it was posted upstream, the world doesn’t revolve around Teresa. Everything that she says is pounced on and analyzed like she’s proposing a plan to help the economy. It’s not that serious. Her co-stars have stated repeated how “stupid” she is, so why are they upset she forgot to mention someone when they should be happy she even remembered who invited her on the trip.

Everyone knows that Kathy is like a ball. Wherever Caroline kicks her she moves. Kathy comes off as a “saint” because she has no mind of her own and I think she’s pretty much proven that by now. She has a weird obsession with getting Caroline’s approval and fitting in with the “popular” crowd.

I see right thru Kathy. I grew up with a sister just like her. I could do nothing to please her, she was jealous of everything I did, the way I looked and my relationship with my husband. Her life was always criticizing, being confrontational, ruining every Holiday with arguments. I had to walk away from her because as the years went on, it became clear that it was out of my control to fix things. She never wanted things to be Ok. I relive every painful moment when I watch Kathy passively turn people against Teresa and play the Saintly Victim all at the same time. Shame on her for allowing her envy to destroy her relationship with her cousin. Get some therapy, go to counselling,make peace with god, DO SOMETHING! Stop being an evil wicked woman. You should get on your knees and beg Teresa for forgiveness.

Joann, so sorry to hear that. I have the same thing with a cousin and a couple of friends. I have never done anything to any of them. I bent backward to please them for years, then I realised that their happiness was on them and not me. I stepped away now I am happier and they mad because I did. No time for the hate.

Love Tre, but, her ture colors are starting to show. She did want to take attention from Caroline and she wants everyone to think she, her marriage, her kids, her life is so perfect. That is why she pulled Joe to the side for some hanky panky in the woods. So the others would think that they are so in love after 10+ years together. He was gumpy the whole trip and she wants the public to think that they are so in love and that Joe wants her so much (like the younger Joe and Melissa). Girl, even they will not be that want in another 5 years. She needs to stop pretending (she’s rich, she has a wonderful husband, her kids are not bad, they could afford to build that home..and pay the contractors, and her marriage is in tac). I think Teresa was doing what she was supposed to do, worry about her husband and her family and what he was doing was going to tamper with her family dynamic. I don’t think this is the first time Teresa has witnessed a call she was suspicious of and I think she was trying to overcompensate by doing her “wifely” duties thinking that it would set her man back on the straight and narrow. Sadly, it never does. Because its rarely about what the spouse that’s getting cheated on isn’t doing, it’s all about the cheat and their selfishness.
Everything isn’t about Caroline, The Manzos, and what they are doing. As we’ve seen all season it’s about Teresa, Teresa, TERESA! This season has been a trainwreck for The Manzos and the hate train they tried creating around Teresa. As my parents always said growing up, “The hole you dig for others is usually the one you fall into” and boy did they.
The Gorgas if they are as fame hungry as they seem would serve themselves better to get off the Manzo train before it derails.
I agree with some things that were said. However, I don’t think Tre was trying to take attention away from Caroline, I think she was trying to save herself that aggravation of everyone talking trash about her and her husband creating problems on the trip & her way of covering it up was by doing what she did in the vinyard. We all know that T doesn’t always do things the way we would, she does get a little confused on wording and on her actions. But from other things that she says, I do not think that its intentional at all!! Like Caro & Jacko said in Season 1 & 2, that’s just Teresa & her way of doing things. At one time it was funny & unique! As far as family counseling, it takes more than 1 person, and when camera’s are off, the rest of the family has nooo desire to mend things because it doesn’t benefit them whatsoever! BUT, if camera’s were rolling, T would have a better chance, just as long as Caro wasn’t in Meho’s & Kathy’s ear singing about all of the wrong ways Teresa is doing things. I’ve seen T make the attempt & effort in saving her family. I now see, that it is nothing but a dead end and for that, I feel sorry for her. No one’s perfect, so I’m SURE Teresa has made mistakes and could’ve done things differently, but theirs nooo mistaken that Meho is as fake as they come and she munipulates her husbands head just as bad as Caro munipulates everyone else’s!!

I respectfully disagree. Teresa was not trying to take the attention away from Caroline. In fact, she let Caroline have her moment and only left the table when Joe suspiciously had a “work” call he had to take. It’s really not Teresa’s fault that she is much more entertaining and the cameras follow her wherever she goes.
Additionally, Teresa trying to have sex with Joe in the vineyards wasn’t about her trying to put on a facade that her marriage was perfect. Teresa isn’t dumb. Though she doesn’t believe that her husband is cheating on her, she still has suspicions. Teresa acting like a horny teenager, in my opinion, was a sad attempt of wanting to feel wanted by her husband who has been blowing her off throughout the entire episode.
If Teresa wanted to steal attention away from Caroline, she could have done it a million different ways that didn’t involve sex. She also said in the RV before Caroline’s birthday dinner that she wanted to have sex in the vineyards, by the way.
Lastly, I don’t think Teresa pretends she’s rich. She’s very much aware of the fact that she’s NOT rich and has to pay back 11 million dollars. Since Teresa filed for bankruptcy, she has never made any claims about being rich and being able to afford things. That home they built? That was built when Teresa was rich. And paying the contractors? Correct me if I’m wrong, but Joe was a contractor and in the construction business. I’m pretty sure he’s doing most of the grunt work himself. And either way, Teresa is clearly making enough money to pay her debts, bills, and stay afloat. So I wouldn’t worry about the Giudices and their ability to pay the contractors. And her kids…yes, they act out at times and Milania is rude. Teresa has never said her kids were perfect. But just because they act like “brats” at times doesn’t make them bad children. It’s called growing.

Teresa’s brother & sister in law were shoving down her throat that this Napa trip could be the time to MAKE OR BREAK things! So, in T’s mind, this trip was her chance to fix things with her brother and sister in law. Truthfully, I do think Kathy should be more involved, however, the problems with Kathy are SO MINOR considering the problems with Jogo & Meho! It won’t take T long to mend her relationship with Kathy and I think that’s where her mindframe is at during this trip. T tried bonding with Kathy while they were surfing… When that attempt was made, what did Kathy make of that? What did “OTHERS” say about Teresa’s attempt to reach out (even a little)
Everyone is looking wayyy too far into everything that T says or does! Like I said, her brother came first because the issues/problems were worse than the ones with Kathy and T knew it would be more time consuming to fix it. She can mend things with Kathy in a week if Kathy were willing to work back with her!

When Teresa confronted Kathy about the cookbook on vacation, she made all nicey nice. But then Meho let out the real story Kathy was spreading behind Teresa’s back. And Meho prolly told Kathy she spilled the beans to Teresa on what Kathy was saying. See, cause she never had the balls to tell that story to Teresa’s FACE….true or untrue….. GUILTY CONSCIENCE. I’m going to side with Famewhorgas. If Teresa does do episode five, then she obviously doesn’t mind what these people are doing not just to her, but her children. I understand Teresa needs to earn a living and this show is providing good opportunities for her, but when it comes to her children, then she needs to decide which is most important. Is that the reason Teresa was the only female cousin not in your wedding? Melissa was on point last season when said Richie wanted Teresa and you got so upset, because you knew it was true. Your husband has been basically stalking her for 20 yearss and you have blamed her. Richie has been harassing Teresa talking about her in only negative ways and she excuses it all as a joke. Kathy is a piteful. Kathy took part of Take Down Teresa because of Sleazie. Sleazie is the reason Kathy and teresa are not close.

This last episode was beyond pathetic. Joe Giudice is a jerk. Teresa in a desperate attempt to counteract Joe’s betrayal, threw herself at him (unsuccessfully) thinking somehow we’d believe they still have a marriage. I felt awful.for.her. She is hanging on to a.sinking ship.
