Kathy Wakile Blames Teresa For The Way Things Are; Talks Reunion!
RHONJ star Kathy Wakile and hubby Richard Wakile are talking about the season 4 reunion taping and reveals to Wetpaint that nothing was resolved plus talks the Posche Fashion Show!
Wetpaint: Now that the reunion has been taped, has anything been resolved with regard to Teresa???
Kathy: Unfortunately, no. I don’t think anything was resolved.
Richie: Well, you can go two ways with that. It’s either resolved … or the book was closed.
Next week is the Posche fashion show episode. What can you tell us about it??
Richie: Disgusting. It’s just disgusting.
Kathy: It was pretty plain to see what was going on. Everything was laid out there for you. It’s at its worst.
Up until the reunion taping, had you and Teresa been in touch?
Kathy: I was texting her all throughout the holidays when all the great things were happening with her. I was sending out good vibes.
And now?
Kathy. Now, it is what it is. But I’m not going to lie, it’s bad.
Richie: We’re in the same spot we’ve always been in. Things around us have just gotten uglier.
What are your takeaway thoughts for this season???
Kathy: Its just sad. It didn’t have to be this way. Teresa chose for it to be this way.?Richie: As a family affair, this could have been so much more fun. But greed destroys a lot of things.
Oh snap! I think Kathy should probably take some responsibility to considering she only came on the show because she was related to Teresa and had problems with her. I wish they’d all move forward but think it’s impossible at this point. Thoughts on what Kathy and Richie had to say?!

Kathy needs to accept responsibility for coming on this show with the intention to bring Teresa down. Until they acknowledge that was how they got on the show, they are liars, shady and backstabbers.
I started out wanting to like Kathy and I do enjoy their family scene’s at times. Her mother and sister are lovely. Their kids seem like good kids. The give the appearance of a wholesome family.
Then you hear Kathy and Richie talk and they can be so vile and disgusting. Richie is a filthy pig. I’m not saying there aren’t others who are equally as crass but they don’t pretend to be something they aren’t.

Yesterday, I was reading posts on a website about the horrors of lottery winners, and the families of the lottery winners who turned against them sounded exactly like Teresa’s family. When Joey, Mel, and Kathy first joined the show, I could’t figure out the mentality that made them think they were entitled to any of Teresa’s success. I knew they were jealous, but it seemed more sinister.
But I read on that lottery site that when somebody gets money (or in this case fame)through luck, many people feel entitled to a piece of it because the person did not spend decades working for it. The normal restraints disappear. Teresa got her spot on the show by luck.
Teresa has since worked for everything else–the cookbooks, haircare, wine, etc but her relatives don’t see it that way.
Teresa needs to stay far away from these people. I know they’re her extended family, but so what. They’re greedy, envious, and ignorant and that’s a very dangerous combination. The real problems will start when their 15 minutes are up, and they still haven’t made any money, and Teresa is still going strong with her businesses.
@hotsummerday You should check out the video on SH of her preforming last Friday. Joe and Greg introduce her and lets just say,I have never seen trashier people. Keep in mind they have 3 little kids when you watch it.

I’ve read that Bravo will probably be coming out with S5′s cast within the next 1-2 weeks! If Kathy, Caroline & Jaq are still on(heard Melissa’s getting hers in S5, so I’m ok with her being asked back!LOL!), then I WON’T be watching next season, either! I quit watching during S3 cuz I couldn’t stand what they did! This CAN’T keep going on! 2 seasons was too much!

People should realize that we never see Rich working, the cast have joked about it, and I think fame has gotten to them too. They say he has a gas station, but he never works. My husband is Lebanese (old school for real), has a gas station, is older than Richie, and he has to work his ass off taking care of his business. We both do, because if he is away, I run it. You have a small business, especially in this economy, you look after it. They aren’t old school at all, because my husband would never go on a show for any amount of money and sell out his family or mine. Trust me, we could use the money, but it would not be worth destroying family. They have made this show their life, and their income. So Kathy and Rich are willing to put on a show. It appears to me, that just in the Lebanese community, the Italian community is competitive, especially among the women. Who looks the best, who dresses the best, who has the biggest house, the best car. It is a show off life, and what better than to get on television to outdo someone else. This is what happened to this family, and ironically, it is because of Teresa that they are on this show, but they treat her as the outsider and the troublemaker. All she did was have a family of four young children, which keeps you busy, and then agreed to be on a show and became popular, which kept her even busier. Teresa not having as much time for her family is what they claim became between them. When they came on the show, all they did is disrespect her and her husband, name call, and talk about them, so please tell me why Teresa is to blame for that, and should have reached out to them lovingly? That is not how they came on the show. I am so over these people, and they have nothing to add to this show. I cannot stand to see the scenes they are in, because more and more, Rich makes an ass out of himself with his stupid, perverted comments. Money is the root of all evil, especially when you are jealous of others, and we have all heard the evil comments come out of their mouths.

I don’t get it……..What did Teresa do that caused all this vile hatred. Maybe it was the edit. The housewives talk about her in general terms but not actually saying what she did. According to what I watch, I do not see Teresa as the bad guy. If she did something truely evil as they say, I am sure Andy would let us in on the secret.
No, Andy won’t and never will. It all goes back to a huge bar fight when they were on their trip to Punta Cana. Theresa got into it with a woman in the bar, threw champagne in her face and it burned her eyes. All hell broke loose with arrests and law suits to follow. The 2 Manzo boys and Greggy were pounding the woman’s family members. It can never be mentioned because of the law suits and settlements. It is also RUMORED to have cost the precious Manzoids their own show on Bravo. You can Google all of this. The other family are from Chicago and I work in Chicago.
I’m not convinced that this is the unspeakable root of the problem. They are all responsible for their own behavior. To the point, this incident does not involve Kathy at all, yet she uses the same vague language, while clutching her pearls, about how horrible Teresa is. This is a script- either of Bravo’s doing or the Clown’s. All of that read between the lines shit they pushed at the start of the season. Well, now it’s over (almost) and nothing has come to light that justifies the vile behavior of these busted up fame whores. The PFS cannot be an excuse because we’ve witnessed them treating her horribly all season long. They’re moral umbrage (ha) at the PFS reveal (it cannot, by definition, be a set-up) will be meaningless because they have been so horrified by magazine covers and cookbooks and private conversations made public by her brother for the cameras that they have no credibility left. Perhaps Caro the Clown and Jackass should read the Boy Who Cried Wolf to each other so they can learn that lesson. Since they’re such big readers, you know.

from what was published, teresa was opening a bottle of champange, and it inadvertantly sprayed a woman, then a men in the woman’s party attacked teresa, and a fight ensued. the manzo boys are adults, and responsible for their actions.

As far as the cast’s problem with Teresa, I can only guess they’re angry at her for having so many successful products……..??? That seems to be the only logical answer, being that they don’t ever give REAL reasons to hate her this much!

I thought I read that the champagne sprayed the woman in the face when she opened it, and that it wasn’t done purposely. I also thought that it was resolved but then the guys started it up again. I could be wrong and we’ll probably never know the real story. But even aside from that, there were already problems before they went to Punta Cana. I thought the whole reason they went was to try to resolve the issues they were having. That was also when Caroline had the look of disgust on her face when Teresa was modeling her bathing suits. She seemed like she was already disgusted with Teresa.
Caroline has been looking at Teresa like that since before the Italy trip. She was even making. Comments in her talking head, this was season 2. Guessing after the 1st cookbook made the best saler list.
@Lucy, it was reported that the woman was splashed when Teresa poped a bottle of champagne. They all were drunk, one of the Manzos threw a punch and a fight broke out the other folks got their ass beat. They all went to jail, other folks, Manzo boys, Greg and juicey. Personally don’t think there would have been a lawsuit if the other folks won the fight. Since they refused to accept the aplogoy and trashed the cast.

I have felt that Bravo thought they had found a new winning formula with the New Jersey housewives. Three of them were family, Teresa was a long term friend who was thought as family (at least in seasons 1 and 2). Danielle was the “outsider” and all the drama revolved around her. The series had great ratings,sooooooo, they had a new format. Turn the “family” against the outsider. Since Dina left, Caroline and jacqueline were the only family left. That made Teresa the “outsider”.
By bringing her own family ito the mix,when they definately had an agenda to fit Brovo’s format, it was easy to get the Manzo’s/Wakiles on board,
In this case Brovo completely misread the fan base of the show. We do NOT want bullying and hatred to dominate the show. The first Two seasons were fun and even Danielle brought crazy humor in the beginning.
Please, Brovo, reconsider the direction you have taken with this show (dark, ugly and evil) and return to the softer funnier side. I fear Season 5 will be your last if you don ‘t

BRAVO loved loved loved the rating and attention they received when Teresa did her famous table flip and almost famous Miss Andy flip. They know her temper when the right buttons are pushed so what better way to get good ratings then bring in her family who obvisously had no problem at all backstabbing her for some $$$ and “fame”. Kathy and WHORSEY FACE are so replaceable its not even funny. Hope they enjoyed their 15 seconds of fame because they were played by BRAVO. What bothered me was when they were all in Cali and Caroline went at Teresa. Caroline was awful relentless, she wouldn’t let up.She called Teresa all kinds of names laughed at her, made fun of her etc. Kathy and Melissa just sat there, smh. Now there in no freakin way I would have sat there and let a family member of mine get beat up like that. I don’t care if we were not that close, if the fight did not involve, me whatever. Actually I never saw anything wrong with Melissa’s chin or forehead, but people make fun of it all the time, like they make fun of Teresas forehead( or lack there of).

However, I must confess snarky digs (eg, Crooks, Chucky, etc.) can be funny. Also, I think that if you behave reprehensibly (in the eye of the beholder) on TV you open yourself up for some ribbing. Although I think truly hostile comments (like wishing death) or talking about children should be off limits.

I have an above average I.Q. and I am proud to state that Kathy Wakile has eyeballs the size of golf balls and it is not pleasant to look at her. So I was just watching an old rerun of where Jac is in the city checking up on Ashley. A part before that, Jac gave an interview to where she said Teresa felt that she didn’t get the support from her brother but we are here. So how is Teresa lying about everything when Jac can prove the things that Teresa had said with past interviews.

It seems odd to me that they would come out this way after all of the heat they have taken all season. Is the Hail Mary pass? If so, it just makes them look even worse. This incident occurred a year ago. A bit more tact would have been more effective for them- if they had any brains. Kathy’s only potential excuse for remaining on the show would be to try to restore her relationship with Teresa. What else does she have (or any of them for that matter)?
I will tune in for the rest of the season, but I doubt I will return. There is only so much of this shit one can handle- especially given the manufactured story by Bravo (shame on them).

Yeah and of course Caroline had to stir the pot too by making a big deal about how she holds an open house and all are welcome if they have no place to go (ironically while Jac tried to twitter-guilt Dina into showing up). That’s awesome, Caro, you’re a regular Mother Teresa for taking in strays, but that is not the same thing as what Kathy did. I always see kathy and richie trying to get along with everyone. Kathy is a pretty sweet person who seems to go out of her way to get along with teresa. Richie does not seem to have issues and seems pretty likable. I like these two. Hope they come back for next season.

Yes, it is mean and cruel to thank the hosts of your trip, the birthday girl, and to give thanks for getting along well with your brother and sister in law. Not mentioning every person at the table in your toast and then reciting the Gettysburg address is the proper etiquette when giving toasts. Kathy could have raised her glass and given a toast as well, but that would be too normal and would have left her with nothing to be faux offended about. Earth to Kathy: it’s not always about you. We try to teach that to kids by the time the turn five.

Kathy reminds me of the woman who when asked to bring a casserole for church potluck with coq au vin and wonder why nobody likes her. She tries to hard at everything, she brings a gift every time she visits someone. She is one of those needy people who try to hard. They are so annoying with their neediness because they can never just be.
And of course, people don’t really like them very much but keep them in their phone book because, hey coq au vin for potluck! They know that they are only invited because they bring gifts and food, not for their company. This makes them even more needy and desperate and their striving is just sad.
That’s Kathy and Richie, people who are tolerated and invited because they suck up and bring stuff, but not for who they are. And they know this, the awareness is visible in their horribly strained faces, the rictus smile of desperation on Kathy’s face, the too-loud, too-jovial, hail-fellow-well-met gladhanding from Richie. They are the sad, desperate hangers-on hoping always to be the popular ones and destined always to fail.
Meanwhile, Teresa is loved and liked by everyone who is not beholden to or bewitched by Caroline Manzo or Joe and Melissa Gorga. Teresa has an easy manner with people. She may not be great at public speaking, but she is relaxed in public and at ease with people. It’s something Kathy will never be able to experience and she hates Teresa for that.

This confuses me as I do not understand why people think Kathy brings nothing to the show. What is expected out of her. I would like to know what Joe brings to the show. She doesn’t know what she wants to be yet, or who she wants to be, thats a problem when you put yourself on tv , especially when you are not part of the original cast , and you blindsided your family to do so ( just my take). And lets face it, she comes off as fake and phony, and when she cannot think of things to say , she makes silly faces that look like they hurt, and she rolls her friggin eyes too much! Wait, thats what she adds to the show, the eye roll! She just is not a goof fit for this type of show. She should go bake something to brownnose people with somewhere.

Larry as a T fan I will agree w/ you that Joe does make things difficult for Teresa on the show. But like my Dad and husband he’s just very unsensored and straight forward. I dont think he has a filter. I personaly enjoy it a lot of the times. But at other times I wanna yell at the tv for him to shut up! Michers makes the best point though that he doesnt really care to be on TV. You NEVER see him doing the personal talking heads interviews! And as for Kathy, I find her to be a bit dull. Thats my opinion though. I just feel she’s a follower and not as vibrant as the others. Although I like the way she adores her children.I do find Kathy extremely passive agressive and I feel like she has a hard time being real. I also didnt like the way she took absolutely no accountability on this interview. Im not blind. Teresa,Melissa,Kathy,Jaq,and Caro all layed their own parts in this mess. I dont believe anybody is comletely to blame or completely innocent in all this. I’ve seen T take accountability though and STAY AWAY from twitter rants. Anyways thats my opinion!

After last years fiasco with Taylor Armstrong, I hesitate to get my hopes up regarding who’s staying and who’s going. Bravo dropped the ball with Taylor, whom I was certain would be gone after Russell’s death and her appalling behavior. I really hope they all will be gone ( minus Teresa of course) however, if S5 becomes a make up session amongst all the women and house husbands, I too will be out. I will officially believe the last 2 seasons were just a set up for us, the viewers. The fact that Kathy, Caroline, Melissa and Jac are still trying to convince us of Teresa’s wrong doings is absolutely ridiculous!! I can’t believe how angry and frustrated a television show has made me.
On a different note. I’m sure when Teresa did CA, she got plenty of great advice from Donald Trump. That kind of advice is priceless. I would like to believe he’s given her sound advice as to how she should handle herself regarding her public image. Just a thought!!

After all isn’t it suspect that she comes out with Nicholas diag. right before the reunion, and her and her husband both say that if asked back they will use this as their storyline/ platform. OK. I am watching the reruns and although I am not a Teresa fan, the Manzo/Laurita clan were really trying to make the RV trip a nightmare for Teresa. You have Caroline ignoring her on one side, the Manzo kids making fun of her and even small suttle things like sticking her at the end of the tab;e for Caroline’s lunch. They didn’t want her near them. Teres did not complain once about anything. She was cordial and nice to everyone. I have to give it to her. Until the last night, she was really trying hard to get along with everyone.
Acky and Icky were in financial dispare before being cast in the show. Acky was cutting hair and Icky was having leagal issues with his gas station. Now Acky says Icky can now be home more with the family. He is LAZY. I can see that. Acky does everything for him. Faithnlove I will also do the same. How do you call in? I can tweet it though.
Icky has quite a court case against him from Exxon! I don’t think Bravo pays enough to cover that!

I’m a Twitter noob myself, so I’ll defer to anyone else who responds that knows more than me.
There are a few ways to wade in. One is to simply type the name of the housewife in the search bar. For example, if you type jaclaurita in the bar, the results will display all of the tweets in which she is tagged. This is a good jumping off point to find a tweeter that is posting good stuff!
For tonights episode, I plan on keeping tabs on johnnythegrk and pdkhair. They are the owners of the salon where T met Mels old boss. They can’t stand M and have a boat load of dirt on her. Angelo (the boss) also has a new twitter account. They will be tweeting up a storm tonight. Also, jac is famous for drunk tweeting and flying off the handle.
I enjoy twitter and one of these days I’ll learn how to better navigate it!

Kelly, you do have a life. We all have lives. The reason we all watch these shows is to see how different other lives are compared to our own. Obviously, these shows are fake because they are too dramatic and not enough visions of beauty. Wealthy people travel, have lavish parties, know socialites. That’s what we expected to see from these housewives shows but all we got was a version of Jerry Springer soap opera. You have a life. I have a life. I have a home, a boat with a galley and two cabins. I own a kayak, a bicylcle. I walk trails through various parks to keep my weight down. I have a great husband. My father is old and lives with me because I refuse to let his last days on earth be spent in a nursing home. I have kids. My point is, it’s a one hour show. These women on the housewive shows may think viewers have no lives but truth is, we do. Our lives are better than these housewives. When these shows are over and done with, these wives go back to the same lives we have. In other words, no drama because there are no cameras around anymore.

If it weren’t for Teresa Bravo would have never ever looked at them!! They wouldn’t have all the damn perks they have now, been invited to any damn events NOTHING!! They would be the nobodies that they always were before living in Wayne, NJ.
Teresa needs to just cut Kathy out of her life. For ever. Just because their cousins doesnt mean too much to me. I have 9 first cousins that I only see maybe twice a year @ weddings or funerals, sad to say but thats how life sometimes turns out. People go their separate ways & have their own immediate family. Teresa owes Kathy nothing. Good riddance. I hope she is not back next year. I never believed her Mary Poppins act.
I have watched the reruns so many times and the same things keep happening. Fact: Teresa is not perfect but none of them are. Fact: Teresa apologized. Fact: Melissa and Kathy both when they say they would forget the past and start from scratch with Teresa didn’t. Fact: Every time Melissa and Kathy are on the show they are bringing same issues not letting it go like they were supposed to. Fact: Even after they made up with Teresa they have continued to talk about her. Fact: Caroline has known Teresa for years why suddenly does she find Teresa so bad. Fact: Caroline and family talked and made fun of Teresa last 2 seasons and Teresa didn’t Call them on it. Fact: Jaqueline says that now she knows what kind of relationship she has to have with Teresa now and she couldn’t figure this out in the many years that they knew each other before show? Fact: Carolines kids are horrible. Fact: Teresa can’t say or do anything that they don’t disect, study and analize. Fact: If the other lady’s didn’t talk and bad mouth Teresa they would have anything to say or do. Again Teresa is not perfect and may have had a few digs in mind when she made some remarks but who could blame her especially when 2 seasons the same things keep being thrown in her face after supposedly truce with family and friends so that they can coexist. Caroline took it to a whole different scale when she talked to Teresa they way on the trip. THERE IS NO EXCUSE for THAT! She is supposed to be an adult and she could have it out with Teresa without it going to that level. As my mother always said there is a wrong way and a right way to talk to someone even when you disagree.
This was Teresa’s show. Kathy and Melissa came on Teresa’s turf. So don’t tell me Teresa is to blame. Melissa and Kathy are instigators and you know something, it’s time to replace the trashy duo.
