Kathy Says Teresa Had Gone To A Very Bad Place When Grabbing Her Face! Talks The Argument Between Caroline And T!
RHONJ star Kathy blogged about Sunday’s episode and says Teresa had gone to a very bad place when grabbing her face. Kathy also talks the argument between Caroline and Teresa and is convinced she was just trying to help the situation since the two have been “friends for a very long time”
“Truth: To be perfectly honest, the toast didn’t really bother me all that much. At this point, when it comes to Teresa, even though I always remain optimistic and hopeful that we may find a happier place in our relationship, I have come to not expect too much. I know that is unfortunate, but I also know her tactics, and it’s very clear to me what she was trying to do.
Truth: When I joined everyone in the hot tub, you can see that I really wasn’t that upset. I made a joke about the toast, and we all laughed it off. I was over it.
Truth: In the hot tub, where it was just our family, I had the opportunity to tell her how glad I was that she and her brother were getting along and how we all had such a nice time together on this trip.
Truth: When Teresa and I had a chance to talk one on one in the hot tub, all I was trying to do was point out that there is a pattern to her behavior. She has a way of turning her back on relationships that were so dear to her for years. As soon as there was a conflict, she simply no longer had use for friends who have been supportive and had become her family.
Truth: It’s definitely no secret that Caroline doesn’t need anyone to fight her battles, and let’s be completely clear, that’s not what I was trying to do. Caroline happened to be the most current example of what I was trying to explain to Teresa. I really wanted her to see things from another point of view. I thought this was important, especially since both Caroline and Jacqueline have been trying so hard to help her reconcile with her brother.
Truth: I know how they must have felt, because I had been in that same position. I always tried my best to get Teresa and her brother Joey to try and communicate better and to resolve their differences. Joey made a good point when he said that Teresa refuses to consider any other point of view and never sees anything as her fault. She tends to see things in terms of black and white with no middle ground. Either you’re for her or against her. This attitude does not serve her well at all.
Truth: In retrospect, I do regret trying to reason with Teresa. It was an exercise in futility. I wanted to see a resolution between everyone in the hopes of leaving all the ill feelings behind in California and going back to New Jersey with a clean slate. Sadly I was mistaken.
Truth: Teresa grabbed my face when she noticed that I was looking into my phone to pull up one of the “In Touch” magazine articles in which she accuses me saying things about her that I’ve never said. Once again, a joke to someone’s face gives everyone the opportunity for an exchange and then it’s over. The written word is so much more powerful and certainly more permanent.
Truth: Under NO circumstance is it OK to put your hands on someone during a discussion! Teresa had gone to a very bad place, and if I had not remained in control when she started to get physical, the evening would have gotten very ugly, very quickly. I really felt sorry for her.
Truth: I never once raised my voice or spoke to Teresa disrespectfully, which to me shows that a person has confidence in the point they are trying to make. Conversely, when Teresa started to lose control, it was a sign that she was increasingly desperate in trying to be convincing. I tried to calm the situation. I went and sat next to her so she would not view it as an attack. I didn’t want her to feel that there were sides and my intention was for unity not division. But herein lies the real truth. Nothing I said or did was working and nothing was going to. She would not consider anything I was trying to tell her. Teresa would have nothing of anyone’s attempt to mediate.
Truth: When Joe and Teresa announced they were leaving that evening, I thought it was a wise decision for Joey and Melissa to be with them. Given Joe Giudice’s condition and Teresa’s emotional state, neither one was in any condition to be traveling by themselves. I went in to check on Teresa before they left to help her gather her things and to try and calm her down before they headed out. It was sad that our conversation ended this way. However after seeing what transpired with the men, I can see there were more truths being told that evening.”
I don’t understand how Kathy can even say that Teresa was turning her back on Caroline? Truth: Kathy you need to stay the hell outta it. Truth: You must be blind. Truth: No one would continue to try and talk to someone who constantly puts them down and bashes them like Caroline does to Teresa. All I know is if Kathy was my cousin and I read her blogs and saw how she instigated the whole mess, I’d never consider her family again. Face it, she just wants to be in the “cool crowd.” Thoughts on what Kathy had to say?

Truth: That whole bad toast thing was totally a Bravo set up against Teresa. *LOL* Caroline and Kathy apparently had no idea how to pull it off with any kind of class and came away looking like the Bravo lapdogs that they are. Teresa is not innocent. But she has apologized time and time again. She thought her joke was funny. Caroline didn’t think so. Teresa apologized. So what’s the big deal? And hasn’t Caroline state several times that she’s an American, so why does she make a big deal out of it unless that’s not the real issue. The real issue is she’s absolutely jealous that Teresa isn’t following her lead like alcoholic Jacqueline, instead she’s doing her own thing. I thought Kathy’s comment that T was getting “physical” when she grabbed her chin was a bit overboard. I took T grabbing Kathy’s chin as a way of getting her attention and almost as T crying out for her to back her up and tell the truth. My mouth hung open the entire show. I was in shock at how these “adults” were behaving. It was like watching the movie Mean Girls but with a bunch of over the hill hags.

I laughed when I saw that because my mom used to hold our chins firmly in her hand when talking seriously to us – “look at me when I speak to you”. Kathy was deliberately looking away and trying to find something to bring up against Teresa. Lovely, loyal cousin. Teresa’s problem with her family on the show was about them telling private business, disscussing issues that should not be used for ratings. Kathy’s husband has been making comments that are totally out of line to Teresa sinc she was 16-17 yrs old when he married Kathy. Yet when has Kathy said anything about that? Yet Kathy blamed Teresa when Joe talked about here. Kathy has made comments about Teresa cookbooks claiming a store bought cookie was her moms recipe.
I think Richie has some weird infatuation/obsession with Teresa that goes back along way and I think he disguises it with hateful remarks. I get the feeling Kathy sees this and knows this and this may be where some of the jealousy has sprung.

Word. Teresa and Kathy are family, family touch each other more than friends, acquaintances, and strangers, in affection and when things get heated. Kathy’s reaction was way over dramatic, like she was being assaulted by some random drunk stranger with hostile intent instead of being corrected (annoyingly, I admit) by her cousin. Jerking away and saying cut it out would be a normal reaction.

To be fair though Melissa only left cause JoeGo told her to – kudos to him for once – “we’re going to bed” to the room at large and then once out of range for fall-out he says we’re leaving. I have always had my suspicions about Kathy’s sincerity and now I have no doubt she is right up there with Caroline as the 2 people who have harmed Teresa and Joe Gorgas relationship the most.
Red flags started to appear for the first time for me when Kathy decided the Posh Fashion Show was the best venue to discuss with Teresa what happened at the baptism with Audriana. She couldn’t call her before this away from the cameras? The next time was at Melissa and Joe’s Christmas party. Again, in front of the cameras is when Kathy decides to make nice with Teresa. Teresa, who doesn’t have a fake bone in her body obviously called her on it. The cussing rage Kathy displayed to anyone who would listen after this showed me what Kathy Wakile was really all about. I think that was also the night Richie threatened to burn the Guidices house down.
Then I watched Kathy twist words around over and over again to make it look like she didn’t mean what she said. People actually gave her the benefit of the doubt for a long time. Not so much anymore. Just take a look at the comments on her blog. I actually think Kathy is the sneakiest, most damaging person on that show.
I really thought it was awful of Kathy to invite the Gorgas to her house on Christmas Eve. Even if they didn’t want to stay at Teresa’s house why would Kathy get in the middle of it when they are family and she knew Teresa’s parents would be hurt by it? She should have been encouraging them to stick it out for Joe’s parents sake. Kathy doesn’t care about anyone but herself and her chance at fame and fortune.
In my opinion Kathy is the worst one the show because she tries to come across as the perpetual, sweet victim all the while stirring everyone else up. At least Caroline says what she really feels rather then hiding behind some innocent, saint like facade. It’s so obvious Kathy is jealous and hates Teresa. For some reason she thinks kissing up to the Manzos will get her somewhere and boy does she ever.

One more thing…… Teresa lifting Kathy’s face to look at her while she was talking to her WAS NOT violence. If you look at Teresa in this episode her eyes were swollen after so many days of doing nothing but drinking wine. She was obviously drunk during this argument and these women decided it was a good time to attack her. They all know it takes Teresa longer to understand things even on a good day.
Kathy is even trying to lessen the reason why Joe Gorga went home with his sister by saying they were drunk and he wanted to make sure they got home safe. What I saw was a brother who felt terrible watching his sister being attacked and who stood by her side. Kathy had no business going in that bedroom after she was the one who started the fight to begin with. She still thinks people are falling for her sweet act. What a fake witch.
