Karent Sierra Dishes About Her New Cast Mates And Refers To Herself As ‘Bethenny Frankel!’

Karent Sierra is one of the new stunning ladies on RHOM, which premiers later this month. In this new interview with the New York Post, Karent opens up about how she achieved her dream of becoming a dentist, discusses her background as a beauty queen and her new venture into reality TV.

Karent reveals that she always had a passion for medicine and now is a cosmetic dentist to the stars and has a unique practice that also offers other services such as botox and laser hair removal. Her clients include actress Eva Longoria, rapper Pittbull and composer David Foster, who is the husband of new RHOBH star Yolanda Hadid Foster!

The Colombian-American New York City native also discusses that she used to be a beauty pageant winner and a model. She even did work in soap operas as an actress while in college at Florida International University in Miami. Karent says of her achievements, “I am a person that has a lot of dreams and a lot of goals. But I am too conservative, and dare I say level headed, to say ‘Let me take off to Hollywood, become a waitress for 10 years and see if I get discovered.” She also refers to herself as the Bethenny Frankel of the show!

About the first season of RHOM, Karent says, “Last season, I think some of them were reserved.” She has higher hopes for the new cast! “I think all these women have something to bring to the table,” says Karent. “They are new, strong-willed women that have their own personalities. They are energetic and they speak their minds. Thank God, we are not living like ‘Big Brother’ because when you have these seven vivacious, strong-willed women, there will always be some type of confrontation.”

Could you imagine how much worse the drama would be if the women had to live together?! Karent seems pretty cool, but the Bethenny Frankel self-comparison makes me wonder if she is just a confident lady or just over her head and pompous. I guess we will find out when the new season of RHOM premieres on September 13! Do you think Karent will be likeable? Will she be the star of the new cast?

    I’m confused.. I thought the season premiere was the 13th.. I’m watching it on demand right now. I think I’m gonna like this season of MIA finally!!

    she says she is the bethenny frankel of the real housewives of miami in the interview which I highly doubt. she shouldn’t compare herself to someone such as Bethenny. she should allow others to see that for themselves

    still don’t understand what so special about Betheny??She seems crazzzy and over-dramitic to me!Cries for no reason…Htes her mother…didn’t like her father..treats her husband like crap…Why compare yourself to THAT??

    I am tired of all these women comparing themselves to Bethenny. No one will ever catch up to her…she cracked into a market with low cal alcoholic beverages before anyone. Everyone else is trying to catch up..

    In what context did she compare herself to Bethenny? Odd that the exact excerpt was not quoted here. In any event what does that really mean …. she’s rude, self-centered, a little crazy or willing to make sacrifices to get ahead at all costs??? Not a fan of the first RHOM so I am not going to watch.

    I am also a little confused why Karent would refer to herself as “Bethenny Frankel?” I will miss the premiere because of my new work schedule at Dish. I am excited for the new season of ‘RHOM. I’m setting my Hopper to record the premiere, and a couple of other Bravo shows. Luckily, I have over 2,000 hours of recording space, and won’t have to worry about missing any of my new shows. Does anyone know if they are bringing back Cristy Rice?
