Joe Gorga Says Melissa’s Sister Is The Best Sister He Can Have!
While it’s nice to see Joe Gorga get along with his wife’s sisters, I can’t help but think he publicly says things to hurt others or to cause drama! Melissa Gorgas sister Lysa Simpson is very close with Joe Gorga and recently tweeted him saying she changed his profile picture meaning she has his password and goes on his twitter account. Moving along, Joe responded by telling Lysa how she’s the best sister a guy can have saying, “Ur always looking out 4 me ur the best sis a brother can have”
I don’t know about you but sometimes I feel when he constantly tweets Melissa’s family saying how amazing they are that he does it purposely because he knows it’s a slap in the face to Teresa. It also is weird to me that Joe is super close with people who obviously bash his own sister! Do you think Joe is being genuine or just trying to get a reaction out of others?

Joe has one sister, Teresa. By calling Lysa his sister and the best sister, he is obviously putting Teresa down. I know Teresa doesn’t want her fans slamming him, but he is a total douche lord! Can’t stand the Napolean man.
What I find most disturbing is that this is hurting his mother and father. He doesn’t have to like Teresa or even get a long with her, but he shouldn’t publicly say things that are deliberately to cause her pain.
It says more about the kind of man he is when he is outspoken with his hate of his sister. Most men would want to stay out of the fray and ignore the emotional drama with women, sisters and their friends. He’s a strange little man.

You are not even enough of a man to refrain from saying it over and over in the media, which likely hurts your parents and affects the relationship between your kids and their cousins. Not that you have ever showed on camera your respect for your parents (the embarrassing Christening debacle when you publicly had a temper tantrum with your aged and ill parents comes to mind) or your kids, (you know those little people you allow drunks to fall on at pool parties, call c-blockers on camera and leave during the holidays for sleazy public appearances where you might get lucky on camera in a public bathroom with your surgically altered and auto tuned ex stripper of a wife). If Lysa understands and approves of that behavior by all means she can be your sister. The Gorga’s came onto the show to purposely “bring Teresa down”. Where I come from ” old school” and “respect” demand family loyalty. Even if you feel slighted. Go back and watch Season 1 & 2. The Gorga’s are at every single party. They WERE included by Teresa. They also were speaking. Then the “Christening” showdown occurred. Rewatch. Teresa has many faults, but she did not start this with her family. The way they treated her for their 15 minutes of fame is disgusting. This show has become so warped! The story line has been so edited as well. Do some research on it and then spew. You do realize that the order of sequence on the last few episodes were way out of whack right? Melissa did not babysit for Teresa’s Fabellini party. That scene was taped in the summer. The Fabellini party happened AFTER the fashion show. After Season 3 reunion. Also the scene at Teresa ‘s home with Jac and Melissa was from Episode 6 yet played like it was right before show. It was actually the day after Caro and Jac confronted Gia at Mac’s Family Field Day.

I’ve been aware of Bravo’s “creative editing” since S1 of RHOC — at this point all it does for me is make it that much more of a puzzle to figure out.
So yes, I’m aware of the out-of-order scenes and misleading voiceovers etc., and yet I’ve come to the exact same conclusion –
that Teresa knew that someone she refers to as “that bald guy” was spreading lies about Melissa being a “dancer.”
And then, based upon this NON-EVIDENCE, she tried to humiliate her on national TV by extracting some kind of bullshit confession from her.
Whether or not she knew in advance that Bald Guy was going to confront Melissa (although it sure is starting to look that way) is irrelevant to me.
(The conversation Teresa had with Kathy, which was ALSO captioned, was a LOT more incriminating anyway imo.)

She’d also like to leave the Housewives franchise and do a cooking show. She also mentioned that Joe’s attitude this season was largely do to him being frustrated and annoyed at having to film. She basically said he’s over it, but she’d basically harass him into filming. She said after watching this season, she won’t do that any more. If he doesn’t want to film, she won’t make try to make him.

WCW, this entire season I have been looking at the marriages through the prism of Teresa and Joe are going to divorce: Caroline insinuated he would ” go away” i.e jail and T would have no choice but to separate from him, the leaked photo of his look-alike brother and wife at TGIFs to imply Joe is cheating, the uncomfortable sexual tension between Teresa and Joe culminating with the embarrassing Napa vineyard scene, the curse words Joe used (at some point in time regardless of editing) to describe his wife, their financial woes with his sentencing yet to be decided- there was so much focus shined on this allegedly crumbling marriage. In contrast, Caroline and Al have been married for decades without public discontent. Likewise, Kathy and Richie have been married for decades without public discontent. Jac and Chris seem to have several problems, but there are few scenes where they either defend or display their marriage on camera- it seems to be rolling along with Chris as a supportive, stable husband and Jac enmeshed deeply into his extended family’s network. Now, we arrive at Joe and Melissa: consistently, we are assured that they love each other, it’s been a wonderful eight years together so far with three wonderful children, they are a strong team who will never let anyone break them up. It begs the question of what if that relationship is broken from within by one of the two players? Joe has told the camera he would always accept Teresa if she came crawling to him “when” her relationship with her husband dissolved, Teresa alone and vulnerable. However, now I am starting to wonder if there isn’t a problem with Teresa’s marriage to the extent it has been repeatedly implied by the show. This entire thread has provided such an interesting critique of Joe and Melissa’s relationship. What if Joe is the one that will actually be squeezed and then hung to dry? Would he see it coming? Who will he turn to for support if that happened? WCW, your comment crystallized many of these thoughts for me, thank you for expressing it.

I agree with you…I see Melissa in there. I’ve been saying for the past two seasons that she has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Her behaviors on the show, on Twitter and in the media display textbook NPD qualities.
Roxy uncovered something last week that pretty much sealed the deal on Melissa’s narcissism. A typical NPD cannot allow anyone else to be the center of attention, it would drive them mad. And this whole time Melissa has been on the show she has claimed that she and Teresa were not speaking prior to her being cast while Teresa says that they absolutely were speaking. Roxy found something on Teresa’s Facebook page from July 2009 (prior to Melissa being cast on the show) where Lisa Marco-Simpson commented and said that they were all at Teresa and Joe’s shore house hanging out on the boat and having fun together. She also commented that fans were approaching Teresa and asking for photos and autographs. This was during the time when Melissa was pregnant with baby Joey. Now, Melissa admitted on camera that she HATED Teresa at that time (though she did not explain why) and she admitted that she was in contact with Danielle BECAUSE she hated Teresa. Does it not stand to reason that a person with NPD (and a pregnant one, no less) would be driven to the brink of insanity seeing someone else receive that kind of attention right in front of her? This whole time it has remained a mystery WHY Melissa would try to get on the show if there were problems in that family to begin with. Teresa has maintained that there WERE no problems (because there weren’t, Lisa’s comment proved that). Now it makes perfect sense. Melissa is a narcissist who could not STAND the fact that Teresa was getting all this attention, fame and success and she wasn’t so she contacted Danielle to try to A) film with her and B) give her information that would hurt Teresa. Then she weaseled her way onto the show to try and be the new Teresa which is why she copies everything her sister-in-law does. Because she cannot stand someone else getting the attention that SHE wants. SO everything is “Look at ME, not HER. I can do it better, I can wear it better, I can dress my kids better, I have a better husband, I have a bigger house, I’m younger/prettier/funnier/smarter/have more Twitter followers…” Everything is a contest with her because she has to prove to herself and everyone else that SHE deserves the attention and not Teresa.
It all makes sense because of that one comment from her sister.
The Marco girls from what I heard grew up in poverty. So from what I observed they latched on to the first guy with a financial potential. I do not know the status of her sisters finances now but those are the type of women you tell men to run from. Joe gorga use to tip big bucks at Lockers.

I’m trying to sort through what you wrote here.
1. Don’t comment on Teresa’s grammar or her use of English OR Italian if you are going to write the way you just did. We’ve covered MANY times on this blog that Teresa is not skilled at articulating herself verbally. We know this. So what?
2. Many last names become butchered in America. The American pronunciation of Giudice is Joo-dice. Sometimes it is easier to just allow people to mispronounce a name rather than constantly having to correct them especially here in the United States where names are going to be pronounced differently than they are in their language of origin. The proper (Italian) pronunciation of Giudice is Joo-dee-chay. Teresa and Joe are both off-the-boat Italian and speak Italian as their FIRST language, don’t forget. They did not change the pronunciation of their name. They simply got tired of allowing people to MISpronounce it.
People do this sometimes.
3. How do you know she didn’t share her cookbook profits with her mother (those were hers and her mother’s recipes)? Do you have access to her bank account?
4. She said nothing false about Christopher Manzo in her second cookbook. First, she never referenced him by name. But even if she had, her comment about a stripper car wash was a reference to a career aspiration that HE introduced to the Bravo audience in season ONE episode ONE. The comment about Caroline being 1/16 Italian was previously made on the Rachel Ray show and written by one of THAT show’s producers (and Caroline laughed when it was said the first time). If anything, Caroline would have to sue the Rachael Ray show for defamation of character (but how does being 1/16 Italian defame Caroline’s character?). Teresa said nothing defamatory about any Manzo in any cookbook. She has also never made false or defamatory remarks about any cast members in any magazines. Her only direct quotes have been about herself or her immediate family. If magazines are even mentioning the rest of the cast, they are pulling information and quotes from their cast blogs and straight from the show. Not from Teresa. You can go back and check.
5. Please understand that this tabloid nonsense has nothing to do with anything. That was just a cover for the real reasons why these women hate each other. They were told by Bravo’s producers to fight with Teresa over her being on magazine covers but it blew up in Bravo’s face because of Twitter and blogs and fans who are too smart. Nobody cares about them fighting about tabloids and we all knew damn well that their hatred was too strong to be stemming from Teresa’s face being on the cover of InTouch.
