Jim Bellino Says No More Reality for Alexis Bellino!
This may be Alexis Bellino’s final season because it looks like her hubby wants her out of the show! Both Jim and Alexis attended Patti Stranger’s birthday just last week and when Alexis was asked if she was going to return she simply answered that she doesn’t know. But inside the party Jim was heard by several people saying, “no more reality for Alexis.”
That’s not all! A source tells Wetpaint, “Jim doesn’t want her doing another season, that is true. He’s very protective of her and he hates the way she’s been treated. If Jim had his way, Alexis would not be returning. He doesn’t think there’s any reason she needs to put up with the bullying.”
But it’s not up to Jim! The source adds, “She’s an independent woman. If she wants to come back, she’ll come back. Right now, I think she’s just looking forward to some time off to think about it.”
Truthfully I want to see Alexis return but I understand why Jim wouldn’t want her to! I think things will change and the season will be more interesting. Do you think Alexis should give it another try?!

Just like the comment at Heather’s party when Alexis told him he should go talk to Terry….”oh I should, you’re wearing the pants now?” Who DOES that?! Maybe I don’t understand their marriage but I think it’s horrible the way he treats her like she’s beneath him.
I don think his word choice was right, but I think he was immediately feeling put in an awkward situation with Terry asking him repeatedly to talk and then Alexis was sort of telling him to do it as well. I think he was basically trying to say, dont join in on this ambush too.
exactly. I mean, I’m not saying he may not be a controlling ahole, I really don’t know. But I instantly took it as more of him being funny or sarcastic and not like, ME MAN-YOU WOMAN AND SHUT IT. I’ve at times found them creepy and annoying, but who isn’t? It’s just that these other housewives find it to be their job to judge and control other people’s situations. I mean, lets look at Heather’s marriage: She seems to be the “Jim” in her relationship and Terry is the wimp. Just wait a few seasons Heather. You’re looking good now but give it time. Soon you will be in Alexis’ position – they all get there.
how is belittling his wife in front of others funny? there was nothing sarcastic about him say “you wearing the pants now”. that was a jerkoff thing to do and nobody laughed when he said it. i didn’t see alexis giggling over it. in fact she looked stunned from the comment. like she wasn’t sure how to respond to such humilation. jim is a controlling, sexist pig. he can’t get over the fact that alexis is independant and can do things without him. he’s been wanting her to leave the show and now he can use the other women’s bullying as an excuse. he’s forgetting because of the show alexis is able to make money that he can’t and continue to enjoy their rich lifestyle.

I also felt like the party was not the time to discuss things with Terry. Jim knew what would happen and it sure did. I am not a Bellina fan but Tamara really needs to butt the hell out of others lives. She likes to stir the pot.
Tamra will make trouble willingly at the drop of a hat. If I were Jim bellino I would get my wife off the show, too. She seems like a sweet person, and doesn’t need this b.s.

It’s different for me. I don’t like the way Joe speaks to Teresa, but I don’t think Jim speaks to Alexis disrespectfully.
I suppose all couples all have their own way of communicating and what they find acceptable in their own relationship. But I can see Teresa cringing and sighing when Joe replies to her because he’s so harsh and often vulgar. She often falls silent and just gives up because to continue would only encourage his wrath. I have never seen Jim make Alexis feel that way but I know the comment he made recently about who wears the pants or something like that, would strike a nerve with a lot of viewers. I thought it was a stupid thing to say myself but by comparison to how many of the other couples speak to each other, I’d say Jim and Alexis are loving and respectful to each other.
That doesn’t mean I don’t think they are all full of themselves and hypocritical. It’s ridiculous to be to sign up for this show and expect it to be anything other than what it is.
I think they are 2 husbands who cleary don’t like the cameras 24/7. I feel for Joe because he has to watch his wife get ripped apart by her “friends” and family constantly. With Jim, he’s protective of his wife, but he says & does things that make me cringe sometimes too. But I think he also feels like he has to protect his wife from attacks. The difference between Jim & Joe, is Joe lets Teresa handle it and tells her what he thinks when she asks him, and they are usually alone when he does it (besides the cameras). Jim gets involved in front of people. But I do feel for both of them.
As I’ve said before, I think it would be very entertaining watching Jim B. and Juicy Joe having an evening together drinking Joe’s homemade wine and shots of Limoncello.
I can only imagine the commentary that would come of it…

I would not be upset to see Alexis go. However, I think her family could really use the money that she would earn.
I believe there is more going on within this marriage behind closed doors! Alexis should step away from the show to gather the real issues within her family instead of showing hints of problems in the public eye.

I think Alexis will be back but I understand the hesitation to continue. It’s true she has been ambushed and bullied to some extent this season. But I do think she has done well to hold her own and those who confronted her only made themselves look bad. It’s similar to what has happened with Teresa. It’s obvious the producers enjoy setting up these conflicts and targeting one housewife.
Personally I think Jim will support Alexis decision whatever she decides but I doubt we’ll see him on camera again if Alexis does return.
I think Alexis would be foolish to walk away from the show if she wants to continue her dress line and other business ventures. I doubt the success of them would stand on their own without the spotlight the show gives her.
I for one hope Alexis does return.. I have to be totally honest the whole ganging up in Costa Rica left a very bad taste in my mouth.. To me it was like the pot calling the kettle black.. They are all PRETENTIOUS.. but its what keeps us coming back for more.. However if it means problems in her marriage then I can see her saying no more she has made it very clear her family life comes first and foremost.. No matter what anyone thinks about it…
I hope I never have to see Jim Bellino on my television ever again. Alexis isn’t my favorite, but it looks to ME as if she is quite capable of standing up for herself. I’d like her to stick around if only because I think the show is empowering her to see what a controlling LOSER Jim is. She looks like a stepford wife about to break free, and that could be interesting.
I love the DuBrows. I don’t think either of them is phony-I actually think they are the most mature and reasonable people on the show. I was SO GLAD that Terry didn’t deny saying that Alexis is phony-it’s his opinion and he’s entitled to it! Jim challenging that was RIDICULOUS. It’s not like Terry stood up and announced it at a gathering. He was having a conversation with someone else and stated his opinion-one that I agree with. Was Jim going to suggest that Terry not express his feelings to his friends..? Jim Bellino needs to remember that HE has said lots of unflattering things about his cast mates as well. Time to dry your tears and grow up Jimmy boy. Do unto others and all that. Adults know that not everyone likes everyone else. I thought Terry was very gracious to a person that he obviously doesn’t care for and whose motives he questioned for showing up.
Totally agree! Alexis seems to be playing the victim role this season but on prior seasons it was quite the opposite. Jim got involved in a lot of the mess also & now he’s playing victim.
They just do not seem authentic to me. It’s very contrived…like they’re not being themselves. I think that’s why I don’t like them…phony & fake. I wish they both would go away.
The Dubrows complaint is that Alexis boasts about what she has. But wasnt it Heather that said she lives on Billionaires Row? Not Millionaires Row, BILLIONAIRES Row. Is she implying she and Terry are Billionaires? And she is also the one that took a helicopter to LA for lunch to avoid traffic. Just saying

The women’s complaint about Alexis is they think she is putting on the dog for them to impress them-meanwhile, they aren’t buying it. Unless you are privy to these peoples financial info there is not a clear way to say who is rich and who isn’t. I am just pointing out the hypocrisy in Heather. I believe she never got over Alexis saying “actress? I’ve never heard of her”. I think that hurt Heather and she has lashed out at Alexis ever since.
Cammi u and I have generally had similar takes on these shows, but in this case I wonder if we’re just accepting the dubrows statements re wealth cos we don’t know any different, I have no verifiable info to say if they are or aren’t. Clearly the Bellino’s are playing at wht they want to be. But I don’t know about the dubrows. We’ll have to wait and see, someone said yelp had all kinds of bad reviews on dr. Dubrow. .

I do not hate her, I could do without seeing her and her hubby! Her playing the victims all of the sudden this year is not admirable, I saw her dish out since she came on the show. The only person who bullies her is Jim!
michers, I never liked her because of her holier than thou act. It’s pretty clear that Alexis is a different form of Christian than the one I was taught to aspire to. The woman actually judges people WHILE quoting Thou shalt not judge! (and yes, I’m judging her now…but I don’t come on here every chance I get to tell you all what a devout Christian I am and how you should all admire me for it).
I’m pretty sick of the whole “Alexis was bullied” thing too! I actually thought that dinner wasn’t handled all that badly, because I think all the women (with the possible exception of Tamra lol) had good motives. And it was ALEXIS who brought up the “elephant in the room” in the first place in Costa Rica, so how is that bullying? If you don’t want everyone in on the discussion, don’t bring it up in front of everyone.

The other women said that Terry and Jim had already talked off camera. I think all of this is fake. If Jim was so opposed to Alexis being on the show, why would he ever agree to be on camera? This story is a negotiating tactic. They need the money. Jim is a controlling, sexist loser, if he didn’t want his wife on the show, she wouldn’t be on the show. I think this is something they cooked up between them to help out Alexis’ “victim, but independent woman who defies her husband” arc. If Alexis is not on next season, I’ll be very, very surprised.
AGREE 1000%…! Jim has said some ungracious things abt the other castmates as well….I mean come on, like you said, EVERY PERSON has there OWN perceptions of others! Everyone DOES NOT have to agree with others BUT RESPECT the views and opinion of others……if you can’t take the heat……GET THE HELL OFF THE SHOW!
I would respect Alexis for not returning. This is all so negative for her. She literally cannot film a scene without everyone hating on her. Plus she feels resentful and feels the need to “stand up” and she can’t do that without looking silly (see: her scene in Heather’s kitchen). It’s painful to watch these bitches (Tamra, Heather, Gretchen) gang up on someone who doesn’t really know how to fight back. I hope if she does come back they bring someone NORMAL for her to be friends with so she doesn’t have to rely on being friends with a Sarah-type. The girls will snub Vicky too so that will be painful as well. Tamra basically runs that show. Get rid of Alexis and Vicky, let them live in peace! Bring on newbies and we can all get a pool going to see who gets ostracized first! Guess they are trying to compete with Basketball Wives now. lol
I think it might be better for Alexis to not return – for her own sake. She’s taken advantage of the opportunities of the show, launching a clothing line, etc. She can leave the harpies behind and move forward.
For the sake of the show, though, I find her one of the cast who has changed the most. The change is quiet and she’s not screaming it to the rooftops like Tamra, but look how much more independent she is and how she is growing to know her own mind and assert herself in her marriage. Jim tells her no to the hosting coach and then she’s being coached, that sort of shift is interesting and I like seeing positive personal growth like that.
For the sake of common decency, I also would like her to stay because I would hate that the Heather the Harpy and Tamra the Troll could succeed in bullying her off the show. I think vile behavior like theirs should not be rewarded and bullies should be challenged.

This is the first time that someone is being smart enough to do what’s best for them. Everyone else on these shows becomes so blinded by the (temporary) fame that they stay on the show no matter how detrimental. I have much greater respect for someone who walks away to preserve their family, their reputation and their integrity….as yet that hasn’t been done.
I like Alexis and she doesnt deserve the treatment/storyline this season…..its just wrong to hurt people in a very public arena like television.
I for one will miss Alexis but I am glad Jim stood up for her against Terry slamming his wife. It was none of the others harpies place to sit down beside two men having man to man conversation about a man talking about his wife. Terry reminds me of a goober and his wife is a snooty fake moron. I can’t wait until Tamara turns on her. Tamara is trailer trash who thinks she is above everyone because they make Botox and Juviderm. You look ridiculous Tamara! Your forehead is like a primate from the Botox. That is all.

1. She LOVES the celebrity aspect of the show and thinking of herself as a “star”
2. She has a showcase for her “couture” line, (who thinks THAT will fly if she’s off?)
3. Would she have EVER gotten her Fox gig if she wasn’t on Bravo? Disaster as it was, I think not
I think it’s a 50-50 shot of Alexis coming back next season. On one hand, her husband doesn’t like her doing reality tv and Alexis doesn’t appear to have any friends left of the other four women in the cast (Now that her relationship with Gretchen has deteriorated). But on the other hand, she isn’t in the greatest financial situation, so she may stick around for the pay check.
I am sure Tamra’s position on Bravo is permanent. Her head is so far up Bravos Butt she will do anything on camera.

I’m sorry but despite what you all think of jim that is his wife. They are the ones that go home to each other not us. He is allowed to express his feelings about the show like the rest of us and he is allowed to not like the way his wife is being treated. He is doing what every husband should do for their wife, and that is to speak up and protect her. If he tells her that he doesn’t want her on the show anymore, of course she will make a decision as to whether she will return or not. When you marry you make a committment to each other to love and honor one another. She would not be honoring her husband if she didn’t take his feelings into consideration and vise versa. He needs to take hers into consideration to. Thats what couples do, sadly enough it doesn’t always happen.
I agree with your post renee. I know that my husband would react the same way. He would not want me working with a bunch of bullying bitches who go out of their way to humiliate me. He would definitely be having a little chat with Mr. Terry Dubrow! And, my husband would also not want to make a scene about it as Jim did not want either.
Alexis and Tamara and you can say some of the other women are what you call troublemakers. Why did Alexis want Jim to go talk to Terry. What so he can say he didn’t like that Terry’s wife “attacked” his wife. What would that solve, what Alexis was hoping would happen is her husband would get into an altercation (since he can’t fight Heather why not set up a situation and make her man attack Heathers man) and a fight would happen.
These women who do this put their family in mortal danger when they act like a damsel in distress and what there significant other to do something about it. What is he going to do, he’s either goint to go to jail get killed or beaten up and go to jail and sued. This White Night Syndrome may be great for the books and movies, but in real life you can go to prison for assaulting someone because your wife wanted you to.
As for Jim saying he wants Alexis gone, BS. I think he knows that they may be getting fired because I bet that Bravo told Alexis if Jim isn’t filmed more and doesn’t go to functions with the other husbands your gone.
You know something, I think Alexis did know that Jim was going to show up at Heather’s party. Her excitement when Jim showed up seemed so fake and over the top. She was clearly acting.
plus, she kept saying to someone (forget who) “you knew about this didn’t you?!” and the person kept saying they’d had no idea. That made it seem to me that SHE knew, and that different things she had heard during the party had convinced her she wasn’t the only one who knew about it
I got a different take on it. It seemed to me that she was surprised because he refused to film with the others for most of the season. It was reported that he didn’t want to hang out with them. When she saw him, I just thought that she was surprised that he was there after having such strong conviction to stay away from those people. Earlier,she was making excuses for him not being there. She couldn’t come out and say he doesn’t want to “be on camera” with them in front of the camera.

I actually think that Jim is a pretty good guy. Yeah, he has a strong personality but that doesn’t make him evil or a bully. Besides, I’m gonna hazard a guess and say 80% of the posters on this site have strong personalities themselves. Apparently, Alexis adores him. If he was so horrible, she would just run to the next guy with money. As gorgeous as she is she could probably find someone richer than even Terry Dubrow. And please spare me the “she’s so stupid that’s why she sticks around” argument. It’s not stupid to be loyal and devoted to your husband and family.

no she’s blind in love and because of her religion she has a belief that the man has the power and women don’t. remember she came from his rib so he wears the pants. that is her words. many women stick to men who treat them bad. alexis isn’t the only one. look how long it finally took tamra to get rid of simon. since the show alexis also sees how controlling jim can be. it’s why you’ve seen her say she’s gonna do what she wants to do inspite of what jim feels. don’t forget he told her he wanted her to stop working but she didn’t agree. jim is scared that alexis will see the real him and leave.
Just because Alexis has Christian values doesn’t mean she’s walking around with a ball and chain around her ankle. I’ll agree that Jim can get a little testy at times and somewhat opinionated but who isn’t on that show? She seems to be pretty happy and is doing a lot of projects outside of the home considering her husband is such a ‘tyrant‘. It’s her life and she’s happy, what’s the harm?
Alexis doesn’t seem the same around Jim. She is subservient when he is around. Much quieter and much less aggressive. That’s what makes me think that he is controlling. Alexis minds her p’s and q’s when she’s around Jim, and if she doesn’t, he quickly sets her straight. (i.e. “oh do YOU wear the pants in the family?”) Doesn’t sound like a relationship I would like to be in…
What you suggest as subservient I consider non-confrontational. Jim has a strong personality whereas Alexis is more easygoing but it doesn’t mean she’s submissive. She’s just not combative and over the top like the others. I’ve been reading his blogs and I find him quite funny and endearing. He may not be your cup of tea but he’s definitely developing his own fan base.

I also think that Jim and Alexis love each other. I like Alexis. She definitely brags about stuff, but so do the others. I think the big problem that the other women have with Alexis is the fact that she IS happy in her marriage. None of those women are happy in their relationships, that is obvious to me.
DLL, I also agree with your previous comment that Alexis was surprised that Jim showed up. She gave him the biggest hug!! Don’t think that was staged at all. Can’t understand why many assume she is so afraid of Jim. In the photo above, she could not look more in love with her husband. Why does this bother people so much? You could be right about the envy of a happy marriage.
Alexis says she is made from her husband’s rib and therefore, what he says, goes. I say, “Alexis, I bet you would easily walk away from your marriage if Jim prevented you from doing something you really want to do!” No doubt. Alexis Loves The Attention and Playing Victim. She…SHE is Not going to leave this show because she Likes being at the center of attention and she likes being a drama queen as much as Vicki. She’ll leave her husband for this show. Watch and see.

It is so crazy that Jim writes a blog about Terry inviting him and shows text messages. I saw during the scene with Heather in the bathroom, he said to Heather that he invited Jim and he didn’t want to go until they had chatted over lunch. It doesn’t really matter, Alexis was right for once and told Jim that the party was not the place for them to talk.
Also what the hell is up with Vicki and her Acne? I am sure Dr. Dubrow can help her get rid of that or maybe she can try Jac’s acne products, hahaha.
