Jill Zarin Lands A New Job On ABC Show!
Don’t think you’ve seen the last of Jill Zarin because she will be back on your television! The former RHONY star will be featured on a new ABC news program titled, ‘Good Afternoon America.’
So what exactly will Jill be doing? While the show will be hosted by Lara Spencer and Josh Elliot, Jill will do a reality television segment on Wednesdays at 2 p.m. starting next week!
Jill confirmed the news saying, “It is part time and yet still gives me an opportunity to talk to all of you every week and keep it real. I love that I am “LIVE” … you never know what I will come up with right?”
Good for Jill! This is huge! Will you be tuning in?! Wonder how Bethenny feels…

No, I will definitely not be tuning in to see Jill Zarin. I don’t enjoy her and will never support anything she does. A long period of never seeing her on TV would be most welcome.

I won’t watch on purpose. If it happens to be on in a waiting room then I won’t turn away. My feelings are neutral. I think that ABC is more likely to scrap her segment if it sucks or if she fills it with too much self-promotion. Can you imagine how horrible it would be if she tried to be funny and use one-liners similar to Bethenny like she admitted to doing last season of RHONY? The show being live could be a challenge for her.
I don’t think that this impacts Bethenny at all. She’ll probably make a generic statement wishing Jill well. Any stories implying jealousy will probably have been put out by Jill, that is her MO after all.
I hope it works out for her. One segment, once a week in daytime is bearable… Especially since I don’t watch those shows!

I totally agree I have no idea why bravo gave her the nasty edit and then kicked her off. In the end Bethanny is unstable and it turns out mean ( i think she used the Zarins, just like many others) and Ramona is just awful, always worse than Jill. IMHO. I liked Jill, I did. And I am happy for her and I hope she is very successful.

Disagree. I think it had very little to do with editing. Jill’s blogs, tweets , interviews and actions (leaving bad reviews for Beth and then fighting with the ppl that left her bad reviews to name ONE) tells you who you are dealing with. She is a nasty piece of work. She has buried herself multiple times after leaving the show and during her time on HW even when it had nothing to do with the show. Jill did not get a bad edit , she simply gave them a lot to material to work with IMO
I thought it was underhanded of bravo to do stuff like tape Jill’s off camera conversations with producers and make them part of the show. They have never done that to anyone else. Regarding real personalities and arctics off the show have you seen the vile tweets from the Manzo kids attacking Teresa’s entire family, including the 5 year olds? Have you seen all the stuff Jacqueline has said which turns out to be false? Did you miss the Gorgas having sex in a public bathroom. How about Ramona and her abusive behavior, or tamra throwing wine in people’s faces, or Simon calling women c@nts . Jill may not be you pr cup of tea but when judging behavior many have been far worse.

Happy for her, however, I don’t have the time to tune in…… Trying to balance career; Housewives shows; Bethenny’s talk show; Dallas & now with Big Brother starting this week, my tivo is working double time & demanding a raise……:)

Her annoying voice will shut people away. No, I will not be watching. Her voice and that accent… Oh, hell! She talks over people wayy too much. She’s like another Bethenny Frankel. Both of their voices remind me of people who eat loud with their mouths open (PET PEEVE), but Jill sounds worse than that.! Lol. BAW-BEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Lol! But, I really disliked Alex and find that I enjoy her video blog each week about NY. Maybe Jill will be doing the same thing for ABC. If she does it right it could be entertaining.

Thing is, Jill was very likeable in the beginning of RHONY. Her and Bethany together used to crack me up.
I did believe they were very close friends and when they fought, I was heartbroken. I also, did blame Jill for a lot of over the top drama about their “fight” but, it truely was last season, when she went after Alex that I started to not like her at all. Her beef with Alex was so pointless and out of the blue. Her tone was so…vile and hate filled.
I think (and hope) she’s learned her lesson about many things(especially how you treat friends).
So, I guess I wish her luck. On the other hand, I don’t get to watch daytime tv AT ALL so I’ll never know if she’s good at it or not.

I would not watch and think she is a terrible choice for the job. She won’t be objective about the Real Housewives.
I think it’s a good thing. For one, she’s not up Andy’s butt and since she has been a housewife herself she knows the real deal. And another reason I think it’ll be a good show is that she always liked Teresa and Dina. It’ll be refreshing to have someone comment on a housewife show that doesn’t just parrot what Bravo wants.

Really happy for Jill – she was one of my favorites on RHONY from day 1 – I didn’t fall for the edit job – she is far from perfect – but she is a talker who is entertaining to watch – seems like a perfect fit!
