Jennifer Williams Says Birthday Drama Was ‘Immature’
Basketball Wives was full of drama on Monday. Jennifer and Evelyn got into yet another argument which could have totally been avoided but Evelyn was a bit drunk and felt the need to throw some digs at Jennifer at Shaunie’s birthday dinner. Jennifer blogged about the episode and thought the whole birthday mess with really ‘immature.’
“Being on a reality show has definitely taught me a lot especially when it comes to production and editing. Let me start by saying production tells us who we will be filming with and where. And if they are trying to build a story then that is what they are going to do. Get it, ok? Enough about that, lesson learned. I am glad Royce and Suzie went to go visit Kesha and learn a little more about her and where she is from. I found her story very interesting and yes my “bougie ass” probably would not have done well on that farm. It seems like the ladies had a good time in Drexel, NC and that is really all that matters. We all come from different walks of life whether it’s the country, suburbs, city etc… Kesha embraces her culture and good for her. Phillipes, Phillipes! SMH! Where do I start? Lets just say the drinks were flowing and that is normally when things go left. First off, my speech was not about myself it was about how I thought Shaunie was a good example for me to look at because I feel she made the best out of a negative situation and she is now happy. But again, the beauty of editing! As you have watched me for three seasons now, I am never the loudest one in the room, I do not try to be nor do I want the focus on me. Overall, I think what happened at Phillipes was immature and unfortunate. Sadly, sometimes when the red light on the camera comes on you never what you are going to get. I call it the Red Light Special! “You ain’t about this life.” Hmmm, what life is that? The life I am about is trying to be happy and making strides to be an independent woman. Overall, I hope Shaunie enjoyed her birthday despite the drama “Jennifer has changed.” Now all of a sudden if I’m out in NYC with my friends outside of the show it’s a problem? It is refreshing to not have to talk about the drama of Basketball Wives all the time. And we all have friends outside of the show. I have always split my time between Miami and NYC so its obvious I am going to have friends here. I am single and why not enjoy myself? It’s so easy to point the finger and say what someone else has done but try pointing it at yourself and see what happens. We all have flaws and make mistakes. All I can say is I am happy with the direction my life has gone and the family and friends who now play a role in my life, I am not going to let the pettiness upset me.”

Team Jen. Evelyn is far too old to act in the manner that she does. What an embarrassment. I would be appalled to be 40 and acting worse than a junior high student. There is absolutely NOTHING cute, classy, or admirable (or even likable) about her.

I wish team evelyn people would give real reason why they are team eve. She is 40 years old jump off that starts physical fights with people like she is straight out of grade school. The woman has money and is taking all of us on a ride for better ratings. I would rather hear people say “Im team eve because i love drama” or something not just becuase she wheres the cutest clothes.

I like Evelyn but I also like Jennifer. Ev is fun and I appreciated her speech to Shaunie. She knows she wouldnt be anywhere if it wasnt for shaunie so that was nice to see that she actually appreciates her

This season shows a harshness that I don’t care for. Evelyn seems furious at Jennifer for not thinking Chad is genuine, well, doesn’t he admit it on camera ‘a work in progress’…as Evelyn cries. I wish Evelyn would get furious at Chad instead. And why does she proclaim who is relevant? Last season, Tami was the n-m-f-factor? And now Royce supposedly isn’t relevant without Tami. What’s up with Suzie?! When she was iced out, she seemed normal, and now she talks smack in front of people. And Tami is being harsh on Kesha. That bitch segment was awful. Then Shaunie & Tami were telling Jennifer others thought she had changed? Why talk in 3rd person? They were the ones saying it. Bizarre. This is just a weird / strange season. I don’t get it.
Maybe Royce & Kesha could do a spin off show – Basketball Dancers? The personalities of this group don’t go together anymore, it’s time to divide it up and let it go. No point in forcing things anymore.
I believe the reason Ev is acting up is because shes upset with whats going on with Jennifer and stressed abouut her relationship
You may be right Jess_Times, but I think its the other way around. Evelyn will cry to Chad, but she is afraid to get mad at him or he will end it. Evelyn is beautiful, I wish her love and commitment. But instead, it’s safe for Eve to get mad at Jen. It’s like that weird dynamic people have with their family, they can explode on a family member but walk on egg shells with someone they are in love with.
I think Evelyn is just really upset with Jennifer thats why shes been acting like this. Jennifer was her sister for 10 years and she is just really hurt with her so she drinks and acts stupid

umm.. sorry,but at Ev’s age – grow up. I don’t care for Jen’s emotionally distant personality, ut she at least acts like an adult/ Ev could wind up in jail – with Tami.Who cares what Jen thinks about relationship with Chad anyway? Chad is on the show – she is just saying what audience already knows. He’s a player – she’s concerned. Why would Ev date another one?
The whole thing looks real but, I did think cus the beef was so stupid and did not make sense that it could all be a set up just to make people think its a beef. I cant see friends being close for 12 yrs. and thing not being friends cus one wasnt excited about the others new relationship. Jen is just divorcing an athlete who disrespected her terribly, whom she was with for 10 years. When you get out of a relationship for that length of time, you do go thru a change. This was a long over do change. Remember all the crying Jen did over her Ex. Im just glad to see Jen happy this season and not crying over that sorry man she had. She needed to do a 360. I just think when Ev told her she slept with Chad on the first date, that took the wind out of Jens sail. Its like, how is Ev going to get out of a 10 year, live-together, relationship with a man then be single and when Jen is single before the ink is dry on her divorce papers Ev hops into bed, then date, then move on to an engagement, and plan to have twins and the ink still aint dry on Jens divorce papers. lol, I mean Jen did not have time to blink. Yes Ev and Chad can do what they want to do, but from a 12 yr. bff’s standpoint, I think it was a little too quick for Jen. Jen did not want to be reminded of Jen’s bad situation and watch that happen to her sister Ev and I believe they was like sisters. I can tell Ev is hurt cus if not she would not be so angry and some people dont cry they get mad when they are hurt. I think Jen is hurt too that is why her pride wont let her say she was wrong or her publicist was wrong for what was said, which I dont think she said anything wrong,thats just the way Ev took it. Ev missed her friend due to them not hanging as much, (new friends and Chad) ,and Ev missed Jen so much that she keeps watching Jens interviews and blogs, cus Jen stop talking to her. It was said “we dont date the same type of guy” so what. Guess what now that is very TRUE –THEY DONT DATE THE SAME KIND OF GUY– The last thing Jen wants right now is an athlete. Im not surprised about that. MOST ATLETES DO CHEAT OR HAVE CHEATED — then its not just atletes thats a man thing, woman thing, people thing, but why dont Ev understand where Jen is coming from that Jen is not all that excited about that news. Its like here we go again, another no good relationship, when she helped her move from the last one and is now divorcing from one herself. Ev has never been married so she is not getting it from a married womans point of view. Ev was common-law, but she was younger then and now she needs to be more mature and understand if Jen aint all that happy then oh well. That is something Jen has to get over and deal with and I kinda think she is getting over it and dealing with it. Jen was like “peace”. Jen probably sd “luv to death Ev always will but I got to do me right now and get away from the drama, the reminder of “me and Eric” she dont wanna see her bff (sister) going thru nothing so she was like, if Im not around then this cant hurt me. Sorry for the psychology but its my field of study.Its so obvious that these ladies are hurt and need to talk and not fight or VH-1 and Shaunie is trying to pull one for the ratings. I hope its all fake cus I loved Jen and Ev being friends. BBW miami and the circle aint nothing without them together. JEN AND EV ARE THE CIRCLE – Shaunie and Tami nor the others cannot take Jens place. Love Ev but I got to be Team Jen. Trust me Ev got some bougsie in her too. I like bousgie. VH-1 got Ev looking crazy right now but Ev is helping them out a little too much. I know they paying her more money now and episode but …. When she see herself, I think she will agree , about looking crazy. Being real is calling Jen up on the phone and calmly trying to work it out instead of hitting her in the head with a purse and jumping across tables to fight thats not hott. Ev’s daughter who is suppose to be in college has got to be embarrassed. How can Ev be ok with acting like a hood rat right before a wedding! Really Ev? Stop the stupid please!! –Jen I know you tried on the show but you too can try again to pick up the phone and end this, not on camera. People around Ev seem to be keeping the beef going. Will be glad when this season is over! This madness may just end the entire show. So sad cus its my favorite reality show.
