Jacqueline Laurita Weighs In On The Fight With Caroline And Teresa; Says It’s Okay For Caroline To Act Like That Because She’s Being Real!
RHONJ star Jacqueline Laurita took to her blog to weigh in the argument between Caroline and Teresa. Basically Jacqueline believes Caroline was being real while Teresa is the bad guy. Jac also opens up about her son’s autism!
“The drama in Jersey never ends! I can’t even believe all the things I saw and heard during this episode. To be honest with you, at this point I just couldn’t take it anymore. I was about to shut down. I am going to be honest with you and tell you where my head was at this point.??Back it up to that make-up hug between Teresa and I, where all seemed so sincere. It was on my end. I finally felt at peace with us. I needed to feel that at that point in time. There were some things that happened afterward that made me question her sincerity, but I’m not even going to bring it up now.
The trip was nearly over, and I had a lot going on in my head at the time. Most of you have already heard the news that my youngest son, Nicholas, has been diagnosed with autism. This trip came at a time where it was all coming to a head. The entire cast and crew knew at this point that we were dealing with some serious issues with my son, but we just didn’t have a label on it yet. The cast and crew, including Teresa (surprisingly), respected that until we got the diagnosis and a treatment plan in place for our son, we wanted to keep it private. At this point, it was a race to get him help and every step of the way was another waiting game. Waiting to get in to see different doctors, waiting for insurance, waiting for home therapy, putting a diet and supplement plan into place, researching and seeking out help, etc. It consumed me. The petty, redundant drama was like static in my ears or like nails on a chalkboard. I was SO OVER IT!
Caroline was not playing the game and may have come across a bit harsh at times. Caroline was being REAL while others were not. I, personally, couldn’t take the fighting anymore. None of it mattered to me anymore.
When everyone started fighting, I felt like I had already said what I wanted to say to Teresa’s face. I had nothing left to say, so I chose to shut my eyes, stay out of it, and tune all the fighting out. I actually really did fall asleep in the end. I can sleep through just about anything. Apparently, Albert can too. LOL!
Caroline had been holding it all in for a while, so I think she needed to unload. I feel horrible that Caroline felt like she went to battle alone. She wasn’t alone. I think after watching this season and reading my blogs, she has seen me speak up and tell the truth. I hope she found some peace in the end. Actually, I know she has. We are both doing great!
It amazes me how Teresa can look you in the face and lie the way she does. While Teresa was denying it all to the girls, her husband was about 10 feet away admitting the truth to the guys. The truth is Teresa DID have a relationship with In Touch, they DID pay her, she DID put out articles that weren’t always true, and she DID answer all the questions for the content of the article!
FINALLY the truth was told ON CAMERA! FINALLY!??I don’t see why she just didn’t admit to this in the first place. It was ridiculous and totally unnecessary. A simple, “Yes, I put those articles out there because not only did I need the money, but I really didn’t like you guys at the time because of X,Y and Z!” Then everyone could have chosen to either accept it, forgive it, and move on or not! It was one thing for Teresa to fake these relationships on camera, but another to try to take the others down OFF camera. On top of that, she was publicly trying to put out there that we were involved with these articles that SHE was putting out there. Unbelievable! Caroline just wanted Teresa to be honest and to tell her how she really felt about her. We ALL knew the truth.
I can’t believe she’d think I’m jealous that she’s on the cover of those magazines. She KNOWS that I have always avoided them as much as possible. And WHY would I be jealous of Teresa’s headlines of her being in bankruptcy, afraid of being poor, her husband going to jail, her facing jail time, her friends and family bullying her (while being posed strategically with a prop dog), something about her baby boy that didn’t exist, her staged wedding renewal, her husband cheating and calling her a “c”… I could go on and on! No thank you!
Honestly, I would never want that for me or my family. That’s the truth! There is no jealousy here. I, personally, have always said that I would only want to be on the cover of a reputable magazine with an article that could make a difference in this world, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I’ve been asked to do covers before, but they were about my rocky relationship with my daughter, Ashlee. No thank you!??I said it once and I will say it again. If Teresa chose to put articles out there about her personal life in a national magazine, she shouldn’t get insulted when family or friends ask her about these articles on a national TV show. Their issues were clearly no secret.??I never faulted Teresa for putting out articles for money. She could put out whatever lies about herself she wanted to earn money that she desperately needed, but I just thought she should have warned or clued in her family and friends first about what was real or fake so we didn’t have to worry. I also thought she should have just kept the articles about herself. It crossed the line when Teresa talked negatively about her family and friends in there or tried to blame others for putting it out there. Her hit and runs were the reason why everyone was having problems with her. (Besides the things she said that we were hearing in the industry and from mutual friends.)
I found it interesting when Teresa told everyone that there would be no more bashing them in the tabloids ever again unless someone said something about her. How did she know that? How? Because she controlled them! That episode was filmed exactly a year ago. It was on Caroline’s birthday. It is Caroline’s birthday today as I write this. How many more articles has Teresa put out since then? They haven’t ended have they???Look, I’m not saying that Teresa never had any right to be mad at her family or friends for anything, because everyone has their own perception of how they were treated. What I do know is that at one point, I saw her family sincerely making an effort to try to resolve things, and I felt that Teresa couldn’t let go of anything to be able to move forward and wasn’t making sincere steps to resolving it.??As far as Caroline not moving forward… That is because she felt too burned by Teresa to do that and Teresa never took accountability for what she did. The one thing I will say about Caroline is that she was not being fake about how she really felt. She put it out there that she was done with Teresa and that she had no interest in being her friend. She wasn’t acting on camera. She wasn’t pretending to love, love, love or pretending to want to mend a relationship that she didn’t want to have just to please the viewers. You have to respect her for that. ??Teresa’s real feelings came out when she told Caroline how much she loved her and her family, but when she walked away, she called her an f’ing “C” and that she can go ‘F” herself while Caroline broke down in the other room and cried. Those were everyone’s true feelings. Sad huh?
Melissa and Joe stood by Teresa whether they thought she was right or wrong. I commend them for that. I’m not sure where that left Kathy. What a mess! I couldn’t wait to get home! Let’s see what happens next week.
Our reasons for coming forward with our son’s diagnosis in People magazine was because we now have a diagnosis and a treatment plan in place. We didn’t have that while filming, and we weren’t willing to put it out there until we did. The more people that we reached out to for help, the more people knew about out son’s issues. My husband and I didn’t want to risk his diagnosis coming out in a way that was not controlled by us. We felt that by coming forward with this, it could not only help our child, which it already has, but also bring awareness to autism and possibly help other families who can relate to our situation. There is an enormous support system in the autism community along with resources and connections to be shared. I think that others should be aware of this. I want us all to connect. I believe that while one treatment may work for one child, it may not necessarily work for another. But by sharing the options that are out there, we may just find the missing pieces that help our children to recover.
We chose to tell our story to People magazine because of their outstanding reputation and outreach. We knew they would be sensitive to our story and not get it twisted. Did you know that People magazine reaches over 43 million viewers? That blew my mind. To put that in perspective, In Touch magazine, who you are also familiar with, only reaches around 680,000. I think we made the right choice of magazine and did the article for the right reasons AND without pay. We were very pleased with the article. I can’t thank People magazine enough for doing the article right and giving us part of their cover as well as giving us their exclusive feature story. We were thrilled! ??I also thank my team ENV consulting and my autism expert consultant, Lauren Underwood, PhD who stood by my side and guided me through it every step of the way. My family and friends have been a HUGE support system for us, and so have all of my social media friends! Thank you, thank you, thank you for your understanding, compassion, resources, connections, and support! We are very grateful and we are optimistic for Nick’s recovery! XOXO!”
I think it’s silly that Jacqueline can say Teresa surprisingly kept her youngest son, Nicolas condition private. Teresa has never even spoke badly about Ashlee and has never revealed anything about the Manzo’s/Laurita’s even when they bashed her all season and on blogs/twitter! Jacqueline excuses Caroline’s behavior because she was being “real.” People who are “real” don’t need to act like a bitter 12 year old. That doesn’t make you “real.” Also found it laughable when Jacqueline mentions how Caroline cried after the fight while Teresa called Caroline names but claimed she loved her. Uh. Jacqueline. I would jump Caroline if I was Teresa. Caroline cried because she is sick and felt stupid. Caroline called Teresa “disgrace, garbage, and ugly” and continued to attack her. I would have said a lot worse if I was Teresa..just saying!

That’s what is going around..thinking 7 of them who decided to befriend the Manzos, Wakiles, and Gorgas in real life in order to help them take out Teresa must’ve backfired and they paid the price for Bravo’s decision to have all turn on Tre. Plus now Caroline, Kathy and possibly Jacqueline will pay a price also. How delusional can Jacqueline be to even write a blog stating that Caroline was right in the way she acted. Teresa may not be always perfect BUT Caroline was WAYYYYY outta line on this.

I agree I find it ironic that Caroline and Jacqueline call out Teresa for being insincere. Even after their friendship ended you never heard Teresa spill any of the Manzo secrets or the Laurita secrets. I am guessing she may have known about Nicolas, she certainly knew about Dina and she kept her mouth shut. Meanwhile Jacqueline and Caroline are spilling every confidence, every secret Teresa shared with them. including overheard one sided phone conversations Teresa had with her mother(please). You add this with there none stop trash talking of Teresa and her family behind their backs, and their bullying of Gia and all I see are two nasty women in Caroline and Jacqueline who I have no interest in watching, seeing, following.

My mind went numb after the second paragraph of wako’s blog. I skipped the rest and went straight to roxy’s opinion! What I can say is that jaqqueline is a hypocrite and a lier! She used her daughter and is now using her kid to gain sympothy story line, whatever. She lost points big time in this blog. This past week my family I were in Lavallette, NJ. We stayed in a GORGEOUS house. We got to stay in the beautiful house for an entire week! AH! It was awesome. I loved spending so much time with my family. I managed to catch a little bit of the action on camera. I also threw a few of the photos so I decided to share them in this gallery. I had A LOT more footage from the trip that I could have added, but it’s already a 12 minute video! What can I say? My family knows how to have a good time –Enjoy! xx
I recently gave up alcohol. I’m not going to lie, I did drink a little bit while I was down at the shore with my family, HOWEVER, I did not get drunk at all. I’m learning to just have everything in moderation. I decided that I don’t know if I can fully give up wine. I genuinely enjoy the taste of it. I think when it comes to drinking, it really depends on where you are and who you’re with as well. I will continue to not drink at bars and clubs. If it’s a nice night and all of my family is over, or my best friends, then I think I might enjoy a nice glass of wine. I don’t see anything wrong with that as long as I don’t get carried away. Baby steps.

I guess i have an unpopular view of Ashley. I think they exploited her. I think what she is going through is not so unusual for a person her age. Struggeling in her senior year of high school. dealing with people passing judgement on her.. her own mother allowing extended family to comapre her to their kids, mocking and making fun of her. In reality ashley is not that much different than lauren.. ashley was just being held to a different standard than lauren..
Imagine being 18-20 and having the world judge you for all the stupid things you said and did at that age? I cant imagine. Im humiliated just thinking about it!

I agree. The way the Manzos and Jacqueline treated Ashlee was awful, IMO. I never saw what she did to be viewed as the devil beyond normal teenage screwups. It seemes like Jac is so immature and dramatic she turns every little thing into a crisis and an attack.

Something that really pissed me off was when Caroline was telling Teresa how she always plays the victim, yet in past episodes her and Jac would always complain that T would just put a smile on her face and say everything is ‘fine’…which is it? You are not being a victim if you are constantly saying everything is fine. Caroline really showed herself to be an ugly horrible woman on that episode and she knew it, THAT’s why she broke down. She had no control over herself. If she was so ‘done’ as she had been claiming she was all season than she should have been able to let it all go and let Teresa be.
On a side note: it’s surreal to me to be reading Jac talking about autism services for her son. I guess mainly because we all saw her struggle with getting pregnant, we saw her pregnant, then give birth and have her perfect baby – we were there for all of it! I truly hopes she can put all this garbage aside and focus on Nicky. I thought it was awesome that she thanked her team and autism consultant by name (that’s what I do for a living!) I definitely have issues with Jac but I am rooting for her in this scenario!

I think that Carolyn was talking about T being the victim with her family. She never takes responsibility for things that have gone on in her family life. She does just put a smile on her face when it comes to her personal finances and life in general. You heard Joe G say that they are paid for the articles and what is being said in them. In my opinion that showed exactly who T is. She wont admit that she puts the stories out there but her husband is telling the men that they do. He obvioulsy doesnt care about what they think so why should lie about it?

I’m starting to see a different side of T. Richy cant say how many times T went to the mall because it was a stab at T but she can say that Carolyn isnt italian…how is that not a stab in the face? The jokes about Caroline being 1/16 Italian came from the Racheal Ray show. The Manzos didn’t stop the show to scream at Racheal and give some tearful speech about how her “off the boat” mentality was brutally insulting to their cultural identity, Lauren didn’t rush the set and try to crush Rachael against the counter. In fact, they never mention that this all came from the Racheal Ray show at all, so it kind of looks like they’re trying to play the audience for fools and make it something it isn’t.
Also, Teresa never laughed at Rich or thought it was funny when he continually made comments about her going to the mall. She asked him to stop and told Kathy and Rich his comments bothered her and it caused problems between her and her husband Joe. (Rich, that pervert. It takes one to know one. Did you see how quickly he spotted the pervert dancing next to his 16-year-old daughter?) Caroline never asked Teresa to not repeat the Rachael Ray JOKE. Joe is right, that picture of Caroline in Teresa’s cookbook should be printed in a cartoon section. Why would Caroline say she is now standing alone? You would have to be standing with some at first, before you can mention you are now standing alone. I guess they discussed their plan to continue to try and take Teresa down prior, and then rest of them cowards backed down and didn’t want to play follow Hitler. Sadly, I had hope for Melissa last night, until I read her blog today. Melissa, that snake, but you gotta love how she is now pulling Caroline’s stings. Bahahaha. Caroline is not as wise as she thought she was for a 50-year-old woman.
I just think their statements are ridiculous. Richie was being mean spirited and so what T mentioned it. The 1/16 Italian was actually funny on Rachel Ray. Tabloids aren’t written in invisible ink and hidden in some secret location. If Teresa is putting out negative stories about her castmates, where are they? All of the negative stories are about Teresa, which Jac acknowledged when she was reduced to claiming Teresa is putting out negative stories about herself “for sympathy.” (So wait, if T were planting negative stories about the Manzos, would she be trying to get sympathy for them?). Anything personal Teresa tells these people mysteriously finds its way into print, meanwhile nothing negative about the Manzos gets out except through public records. Teresa must have a good agent to make all this money planting stories that never show up anywhere about people who aren’t popular enough to sell magazines.
Yeah, remember when Jac tried to blame Teresa for everybody finding out that Ashlee’s father was arrested? Errr, he was arrested, the story was given to the media by the Police Department, you moron.

I,like many others started seeing a different side of Tre in season 2 when she chased Danielle through the country club,I wasn’t a Danielle fan I was a Tre fan but I just couldn’t get past her atrocious behavior. I’ll even agree that Caro needs to back down with her constant nagging and bitchin at Tre. I think for the most part Tre is burning bridges with her family and friends. I work in this industry also, and I’m concerned about the amount of services Nicholas has missed because they waited so long to get a diagnosis. Early intensive services produce the best outcomes. Jacqueline has my sympathy for the challenges she and her family will face. However…she needs to get her house in order and get off the hate train. Her priorities are so skewed.
If that bloated booze bag had any sense, her and her dumbass husband would be at home with their child. At that time (last year) they were in process of diagnosis and finding professional care.

No there are always exigent circumstances in a contract for health of yourself, minors, and other family. You could not have that within a talent contract it is extremely standard. Jac went because she is a media whore and needs the money.

Here’s what I don’t understand, why was she surprised Teresa respected the diagnosis of her son? Unless i’m mistaken Teresa has never spoken ill of any of Jacqueline’s children. She has barely said anything about anyone else’s children with the exception of Chris’ strip wash. Which was more about his idea than him personally.

Hey, when my sister had done some really stupid things, I told my Mom how I felt about it (angry, frustrated), we discussed it, and I made comments about my sister that I meant even though they weren’t so nice. I wasn’t trying to turn my mom against my sister – we were trying to figure out why she keeps doing these things! I have no doubt Teresa said some things about her brother she wishes she hadn’t, but looks at Joe Gorga’s comments last 2 seasons – no mercy there: T has to fall to be saved! I think Momma knows exactly what her boy is – Teresa doesn’t have to tell her or try and brainwash her.
Joey tried to get his parents involved at the Christening, he seems shocked and frustrated that they’re not famewhores and won’t take his side when he’s wrong like everyone else in the famiglia.

Teresa has never admitted to getting paid for selling stories. She has always stated that she got paid for the pictures, not the stories, but she answers questions they ask her, hence she being quoted in the articles. The only people who continue to say Teresa gets paid for stories are Jacqueline and Caroline, so that must be where you’re getting your information confused.
Secondly, Joe Giudice NEVER said Teresa gets paid for selling stories or that she has a 7 cover deal with In Touch. Once again, he said they only deal with In Touch and get paid. Not once did he say they were paid for the actual articles.

As a spokeswoman for Autism Speaks, she should not be allowed to give false hope to parents. There is no cure. I know this because I am very fortunate that my son was diagnoised with Autism at 15 months and started receiving therapy 2 months later. He is 10 years old and people can’t tell if he is autistic. He made a 99% turnaround. He is a a student and plays football, baseball and basketball.

Now, he can improve and depending on what tier he has been evaluated within the Autistic spectrum can even move seemlessly, but there is no “recovery.” I concur with you 100%.

You are right- I do recall some mention of insurance. However, that is a pretty weak reason. If her insurance didn’t cover a portion of the diagnosis/treatments they would just bill her after they covered what is allowed under the policy…

I live in Bergen county like Jacqueline and I don’t understand why it took so long. I called the Bergen county Health Department and they sent someone to evaluate my son in 1 week and my doctor sent me to Hackensak hospital for an evaluation. In 2 months I was receiving services. I hope attends a theraputic preschool.

As a parent of an autistic adult, I have sadly seen many, many parents in denial of what the problem is with their child. They are so afraid to have their child “labeled” they don’t act ASAP. Maybe that is the case with them.
Doctors take cash. It would not prevent treatment if they were to pay in cash.

Mrs. Laurita had a solid YEAR to serve as an outspoken advocate for those dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She had every opportunity to sit down for countless interviews to SPREAD AWARENESS and SUPPORT RESEARCH. Instead, she spent precious time and energy trashing her cast mate on social media, in blogs, and on television. Now, she is attempting to hide behind the issue of Autism to garner sympathy from the audience and escape culpability for her morally questionable conduct.
It’s not surprising this group would stoop so low. After all, the audience is already anticipating their excuses:
- Caroline’s bullying and ruthless behavior weren’t her fault; she was menopausal.
- Melissa executed a devious plot to humiliate and destroy her husband’s only sibling because she was hormonal during her pregnancy.
- Jacqueline didn’t punch Caroline in the face because she has impulse control issues and she’s emotionally unstable; she was suffering from Postpartum Depression. (What about the arrest for assaulting an ex-boyfriend in Las Vegas?)
- Jacqueline already tried to explain away her vile treatment of her (former) best friend with claims of “low testosterone.” Unfortunately for her, the audience didn’t buy it.
Perhaps Caroline Manzo crafted this strategy? Remember, the Manzo-matriarch’s son, Albie, flunked out of law school NOT because he was too busy playing on Twitter and enjoying his newfound Bravo celebrity status; ADD was the culprit. (By the way, I’m not discounting ADD; I, myself, have ADD, as do many SUCCESSFUL professionals.)
As an aside, had Mr. Manzo not been tossed out of law school, he and his family members would know they’re walking a fine line in touting BLK’s “health benefits.” Remember the class action suit against the herbal supplement Airborne? Statements made by the Manzo and Laurita families indicate they probably DON’T.
In an article in the Wyckoff-Franklin Lakes Patch, Mr. Manzo claims:

Comments, such as this, suggest THE LAURITA AND MANZO FAMILIES MAY BE POSITIONING THEMSELVES TO USE AUTISM AS A PLATFORM TO PROMOTE THEIR PRODUCT. Not only are they preying upon the “pity” of the public, they’re PREYING UPON THE HOPE OF FAMILIES DESPERATE FOR A CURE. That is truly DEPLORABLE.

I have a child who was diagnoised with PDD (persuasive developmental disorder). It is a condition part of the autism spectrum. I never got insulted if someone reference their children as healthy. Every parent should appreciate that God blessed them with healthy children. I never considered my son unhealthy because all of his organ were fine and he did not have cancer. He was in a early intervention program until 3 years old and then he atrtended a great theraputic preschool. He was placed in public school last year and is doing great. He is 10 years ols and has alot of friends and plays sports. I was forunate and I hope jax has the same success.

I really feel for Jac in dealing with her son’s diagnosis. I wish her and her family all of the best no matter what. I wouldn’t wish ill on anyone regardless of how horrible they act on a reality show…and Twitter.
However, calling Teresa out for “surprisingly” not talking about her son is messed up. Tre has ONLY said nice things about everyone’s kids or nothing at all. All last season when the Manzo kids kept bashing her, Tre didn’t even respond! She’s THAT classy!
And so what if Tre went to her room and cursed and Caroline cried? Everyone deals with conflict in their own way. It doesn’t make one person wrong or right. And who knows how it even really happened…editing can make it look any way Bravo wants! Tre could have cried for an hour straight and we would never know!
