Jacqueline Laurita Updates Viewers On What She’s Up To Plus Talks Gia!
RHONJ star Jacqueline Laurita talked to Huffington Post and updated viewers on what she’s doing right now plus talks Gia! She says she’s over it and even throws a bit of a dig at her former friend!
Jacqueline is currently involved in a miracle skincare line called AcneOne. She says, “Oh, yeah. I have a lot going on. I don’t just slap my name on things like another Housewife we know. I am very serious and passionate about the things I involve myself in. I am very hands-on.”
Wonder which housewife she is referring too! As for the whole drama surrounding her attacking Gia-she says she is over it! “I’m over the whole Teresa/Gia thing. In retrospect, do you think I should have read Teresa’s book? My answer is no! And I already apologized for that several times. I love Gia, and I also tried to comfort her and tried to convince her to rejoin field day. I even rewarded her with provolone cheese, unwarranted. Teresa can spin it any way she’d like, but she — and anyone else, for that matter — will never convince me that I attacked her child or tried to belittle her. Teresa did a pretty good job of belittling Gia herself when she told her mom she wanted a bra. Sorry, but her blame shifting will never stick on me. The end!”

This, “I gave Gia cheese…” was in her blog following the ‘field day.” I remarked on this over at my place.
Jax includes the following self-congratulatory observation” – “…and I even awarded Gia, unwarranted, with provolone cheese…”
Now I don’t know about anyone else but it also jumped out at me that that statement alone answers any questions people may have as to why Ashley has such an entitled attitude. Think about what Jax said, “…awarded…unwarranted…”
So she gives an award to a child, an award that she herself says was “unwarranted,” i.e, “undeserved,” “not earned,” etc? And she did this after the child has thrown what she deemed to be an unprovoked, unwarranted, hissy fit? After reading that, like Teresa, I too feel sorry for Ashley.
P.S. I just read the whole HuffPo thing and two things jumped out at me.
The first was an obvious dig at Jax herself right in the opening sentence when it is mentioned that”…when Jacqueline Laurita is not busy tweeting…” In other words this Murro guy (Kim Grannytail’s ubiquitous escort who IS NOT Team Teresa) is acknowledging that Jax spends WAAAAY too much time on Twitter. In other words, she’s obsessive about it.
The other thing was that there are ZERO comments. That does not bode well in predicting a customer base.
As a possible pitchwoman, she’s pathetic. Bashing Teresa 24/7 on Twitter does not seem like a remotely smart choice when she has potential commercial interests to win. If I were a business, I would veto signing her because her Twitter behavior would bring avalanches of bad press, and might cause people to avoid my product in turn. I agree that all of that screaming had to have been horrible for CJ and I’m glad Jaq and Ashley are separated, but I think he might just be just naturally quiet like his dad. He also seems pretty friendly and easygoing around people.
We really never see CJ and besides discussions should be only about the adults, not children and that means EVERYONE’S children. Ashlee is an adult and if there are negative comments about her, then she brought that on herself. Jac should have done something about it, but she was the first one to bad mouth her daughter. Like you said, it gave them more camera time. And about Teresa, no one claims she is a victim. However, if you read everyone’s blog, and watch the talk that goes on each episode, it is more likely than not about Teresa, and not in a good way. If you or any of your loved ones were treated that way, I’m sure you would have a much different opinion.

There is a HUGE difference between what Jacqueline does business-wise and what Teresa does.
Jacqueline maintains her own website and talks about products that she uses or likes. She may or may not be paid to do this. But by doing this, she can say that she is “involved” with these products because she mentions them on her website. Do you ever see these products using Jacqueline in their advertising? No.
Teresa is approached by companies with offers to endorse their products. Because Teresa is a well-known personality and a bankable face to put on their product. She ALWAYS gets paid to endorse a product. She also researches the product, tests it to make sure that is IS NOT just slapping her good name on something that doesn’t work, and usually ends up using it herself (lip gloss, tanner, teeth whitener????). And these companies salivate at the chance to use the name Teresa Giudice in their advertising. Because the public knows her and recognizes her, regardless of whether or not they actually LIKE her.
There is a BIG difference there, JacAss. And if you had so much going on that you were involved in and so positive about, and if you were so over this Teresa/Gia thing, you would not have even made that dig at Teresa.
