Jacqueline Laurita Says Her Heart Hurt For Teresa After Watching Joe Make The Mysterious Phone Call
RHONJ star Jacqueline Laurita took to her blog to talk about Sunday’s episode and says she understands why Kathy was upset about the toast Teresa made. Jacqueline adds that her heart hurt for Teresa after watching Joe make the mysterious phone call.
“The trip continues, and despite what some of our campers are complaining about, I think they are having a pretty good time over all. I heard a LOT of laughing. I know they enjoyed camping together (even though they may not admit it), but I could tell everyone got a little more excited when we reached the Lancaster Estate and Vineyard. It was so freakin’ beautiful! The owners of Lancaster Estates were very generous to allow us all to stay there, and they were so gracious. I wanted to move in! They were such warm and kind people. Their wine is excellent too! ??Although we were having fun, the main reason we went there was for business and everyone knew that ahead of time. We hoped to have fun along the way while sharing this experience with our friends. My husband and nephews were meeting with Levendi about the possibility of expanding their brand into different territories around the country, starting in the North East. My family has been drinking Levendi’s wine for years, but it was very hard to find. Levendi has great wines at a reasonable price. Their chardonnay is delicious. I think you all should try it.? ?I was disappointed to see how clearly Joe Giudice was trying to get the viewers to see how much he was not enjoying the wine tasting and how he was ready to leave mid presentation. I would have thought he might have wanted to support his friend a little more than that. That’s OK though, Levendi is doing great, even without Joe Giudice’s approval. ??I’m all for being silly and having fun, but there is a time and a place for everything. Joey Gorga making the Lancaster lion look like his Tarzan package probably wasn’t done at an appropriate time, but you know what…I couldn’t help but laugh my ass off when he did that. Hello, California! Jersey has arrived! It’s OK, honestly, we love Joey anyway. Everyone was drinking. We’ve all had those moments.
I felt bad for Kathy on this trip, because I could tell that she must have been feeling a little left out of the family bonding that was going on between the Giudices and the Gorgas, although she was happy for them. After Teresa and Kathy talked, Kathy had thought that they had resolved their differences and were moving forward, but she still felt the tension and distance between them. I felt bad that Kathy was left out of Teresa’s toast, because I could see the hurt in her face. Rich was using his normal sarcastic, witty sense of humor, but I think he felt bad for his wife, so he was lashing out on Teresa a little more than usual. This only starts the vicious cycle all over again. I think Kathy was just getting frustrated with making an effort and not feeling like it was sincerely being reciprocated or appreciated. I understand why she was feeling that way.
Why can’t everyone just learn to communicate properly, forgive, and move on? It takes two to resolve a conflict. Sometimes you’ll find that when you talk to the person you are having conflict with, you will realize that your perception of what happened was not intended to hurt you in the way you originally thought. Sometimes, if you can admit your own wrong doings, explain your actions, and apologize for them, it makes it easier for others to understand why you did what you did and helps them to forgive and move forward. Sometimes people are just too stubborn to see another person’s view point, so they can’t forgive or move forward. Sometimes you can forgive someone so many times that you are so fed up that you don’t want to move forward. I think all of the above could be going on here in our group.
I was glad that Teresa finally somewhat admitted in the RV to Melissa that she did in fact do more than just pose for pictures in those articles in the tabloids and that she did say things about her family and friends after she had been denying it for so long. Teresa finally admitted that she said what she said in the articles, because it was how she felt at the time. I can respect that, but I just wish she would have been this honest and upfront to everyone (including Caroline) and just admitted this in the first place instead of denying it the way she did originally. Caroline may have been more forgiving at that point. It was Teresa’s denying and not taking responsibility by owning up to what she said and how she really felt at the time that was partially the reason she was upsetting everyone. Nobody thought she was being sincere. Melissa told Teresa not to trash talk her family and friends again in the tabloids and then gave her a pass for it. Melissa just wanted to move forward. Like Teresa said, “Once the article is out there, you can’t take it back! There’s no use crying over spilt milk.” Once in a while though, people like to hear you admit to doing what you did and give an apology for it. That was my point anyway. I thought Teresa just should have come out with it and said, “Yes, Caroline, Kathy, and Melissa, I did write that stuff that was not nice about you in the book and in the tabloids because I was upset with you all at the time for X,Y and Z. I am really sorry for doing it and offending you, but I would love to move forward now, and I won’t be doing that again.” I think most would have respected that answer or would have thought she was being more sincere with wanting to move forward. Instead, everybody was watching their back waiting for the next hit.?
Melissa made a good point that I kept trying to make myself. Once Teresa decided to put her business on the cover of a magazine and answer all of their questions, it no longer made it just her and her husband’s business. She opened it up to the world. If I decide to do a cover for a magazine, the same rules would apply to me, and I know that. If I put it out there, you can bet I’ve discussed it with my family and friends. What hurt me was that Teresa opened up to a tabloid but never opened up to me, one of her best friends. It hurt a little. That’s all.
I am happy that we celebrated Caroline’s birthday together in such a beautiful place. I was very touched by what her kids said about her in their toasts. They have a really strong bond. Definitely something to admire. ??I’m not going to comment on what came out on this episode regarding Joe Giudice, because I feel that it is such a sensitive matter to talk about, and I am sure it was very hurtful for Teresa and her family to see. Despite our fighting, my heart hurt for her. That is all I will say on that matter.
As far as the sex they had in the vineyard, I think I understand more now why she chose such a time to make a scene. I was wrong thinking that it was entirely about her trying to take the spotlight away from Caroline. I think somewhere in her mind, she was marking her territory. In my opinion, she should have just peed on him, kicked up some dirt, and walked away.
Next week looks like all hell breaks loose. You can watch what happens. I may have to shut my eyes through it all again. That all was just a little too much for me to handle at the time. The drama in Jersey never ends.”

She does act like she’s perfect. I think the end of her first paragraph says it all. She goes from chastising Joe Giudice, to making excuses for Joe Gorga saying “i couldn’t help but laugh” and “we love Joey anyway” and “everyone was drinking”. This is the epitome of the problem with her. They excuse the behavior of those in their circle, and they pick apart every single thing that comes out of Teresa’s (or in this case Joe’s) mouth. Does she realize how transparent she is??

Bullying pure and simple. If you’re our Friend, in our clique, you cannot do any wrong and we will defend your actions regardless of who they hurt. If you’re outside our cirlcle, as Caro says, “I will destroy you!” … clearly this entire season has been about “destroying” the Guidices. All they’ve done is prove an old saying….

See, this is what makes me livid about Bravo. This is not reality. This is crafted fiction. Apparently they think we are all stupid. News flash, I think they are stupid. Enough then, I guess, this is it. I have gone from watching every housewives show from the first OC to my last, Sunday nights. This show used to be fun. I would fold laundry and watch women with luxury lifestyles buying expensive clothes and jewelry, live in amazing homes, raise their kids and it was great. As years went on I found myself watching less, Tamra joined OC and charming people like Laurie Waring, and Jeanna Keough were replaced with women who throw drinks at other people. I watched them allow Ramona a clearly unstable person take over NYC with her equally unstable friend Sonia, they cancelled Washington which had some of the nicest women due to Bravos entanglements along with the Swahili’s crazy antics. In short this program has gone from being full of mostly nice relatable women, to being a series of shows featuring story lines and people that do not slightly resemble normal people. Bravo uses its edited message boards and old footage and out of context quotes, and biased reunions to promote its narrative, not to show anything resembling reality. And then the non Bravo boards, they have gone from being fun to being clearly trolled and manipulated by Bravo lackeys and insiders. I guess I have been pushed over the edge. I am done. No more Bravo for me. The only explanation i can see for the shows they create and the narrative they promote is that they clearly hate women. Thanks to everyone who I have had the pleasure of civil discourse with. I enjoyed having a shared interest with you, I guess the thing is, when it comes to Bravo I am not any longer interested. Well said. I’ve sadly come to the same conclusion. This is the second week in a row I haven’t watched RHONJ or NY because the story lines are played out. At this point with RHONJ, the bullying Teresa is sad, and on NY the crazy antics of Ramona are old and pathetic. I did once love these shows too, so it does make me sad, but until they branch out on these storylines a bit, I can’t bear to watch.
I stopped watching all of them too. I was going to stop after the reunion last year RHONJ but thought if I stopped and everyone were to stop it would hurt Teresa making money….. Use to be a Jaq fan she lost me this year. Use to thing Teresa was funny but crazy once the gang up became a Teresa fan… bullying is never ok. It is getting harder and harder to watch. Sometimes I wait for the rerun sometime read the boards to catch up and just get glimpses of the show. Sad what the housewives show have become. Use to watch it to see how the other half lived not it is vicious. Every show is starting to be about gang up bullying. Sad what our world had come too.
I agree with you totally and it’s a shame bravo are driving their viewers away with there corrupt tactics! This copy and pasted talking head from Caroline is an insult to viewers intelligence to think we are so stupid not to realise this is an old clip which they are using now in order to try and redeem carolines earlier comments about tre’s marriage, They ARE the stupid ones please everybody spread the word about this diliberate attempt to dupe us the viewers!!!!!!!!
Like some of the others, this is my second week not watching. Bravo has runined my guilty pleasure! In this particular series (rhonj), as soon has Teresa’s family came on, it totally changed. It’s really sad.

I think Teresa genuinely thought she was putting on some half-assed (excuse the pun) sex show for the audience. I think she was testing her and Psycho Joe’s sex appeal for the porn tape market.
Epic fail. Nobody needs (or wants) to watch this desperate, dried-up and mindless twit have sex on tape with anybody. Even with another mindless twit.
And I agree that it was awesome to watch Teresa ADMIT that she’s been selling out her friends and family to the tabloids for money. Did she forget that she’s been lying to everyone (including Andy Cohen and the viewers) about this all season long?

How does a tabloid quote from a show that hasn’t even aired yet? That, in fact, isn’t GOING to air until a whole year later?
Correct, the in Touch article that set off Jacqueline’s incoherent rant and split with Teresa was full of quotes directly from the talking head sections of the show. All of the in Touch articles were the same in that respect. So the choices are, Jacqueline wants to get mad at Teresa for comments she, Caroline, Melissa and Kathy made on the show (which is nuts) or that the rest of the cast never watches the show and/or forgets what is on it (which is oblivious, nuts, or incompetent). Either way Jacqueline, Caroline, Melissa and Kathy seem kind of dumb.
The In Touch quotes were taken directly from Teresa, which she finally even admitted to Melissa. She actually tried to justify it by saying it was “how she felt at the time!” and that after they’re published there’s “nothing she can do about it!”
The rest of the cast was reacting to these articles as they were originally being published and while they were being filmed.

You point is non sequitur. You need to learn how to logically reason.
I don’t know where you get that she said she was selling out her friends… she merely stopped arguing,… and took the high road… let Melissa put her own spin on it, and agreed to disagree… Besides,,, If any of you have read the articles… she doesn’t say anything about them at all!! The only bad things written are direct quotes from each of the gang members, that they uttered on the show along with ugly pictures of them! And then the magazine interpreted it..Teresa merely answered a few questions… and not about those people, about her own feelings about the rumors that have been spread… most likely from inside sources which are meembers of this gang!
Make up facts any way you want, and you sound and look like a fool! Read reality, and discern accuracy, and you see things the way they are!
Anyone ever remember the old fable about the Emperors new Suit of Clothes? I feel that the entire side that agrees with the Gang mentality of the Bullies of this show, are merely puppets in the selling of fiction! They see a naked man walking down the parade route, but are told those are his fabulous new suit of clothes, and rather than bravely saying “um no they’re not” without questioning what they are actually seeing start congratulating themselves on being part of the inner circle who think his new suit is just fabulous!

What really happened? Teresa and Her sister in law for some reason didn’t get along… they had a little trouble communicating… Teresa gets on a show… Teresa gains some fame, and money… Brother and SIL are green with jealousy as is the cousin… Hey we want a piece of that… Then Teresa hits hard times… they all secretly love it… (I admit just as I would love to see some of them taken down a peg) Teresa doesn’t always use tact and is playing the part of a Housewife ; The formula used on all of the versions of the show…spending fake money and throwing fabulous parties!. The memebers of the show excuse all of her behavior because they are in her circle…and let’s face it, their own behavior is completely out of line.. they go after Danielle like she’s public enemy number one, and Danielle is all alone, feels completely threatened, and makes herself look like a nut case…The rest of the clan supports Teresa, she can do no wrong. Then it all comes unglued and Teresa and Joe’s problems come to light… why? Because her SIL called up Danielle and sold her the private business of her husband’s family… Teresa instead of folding makes a success and manages to get out from under being destroyed, and becomes even more popular as a relult… Bravo is pissed because they felt Joe’s stuff reflected badly for bRAVO…and he made a couple of ignorant puns about gays… so they call up Meho and get her and her brother on the show to help DESTROY Teresa… other stuff happens like a fight in punta cana that the Clique claims is Teresa’s fault, yet the police reports claim is not!!! Caroline is now pissed cause her precious boys went to jail and might have consequences… well they threw punches and broke a guys legs… didn’t they? according to the police records they did! But they can’t talk about that, so this inconsequetial subject of the Cookbook becomes the shot heard round the world… Crime of the Century! Of course if they all stick together they can get it all blamed on Joe Guidice! Bravo also is being sued so they all want the Guidices to look bad… guess what.. It’s not really working. They’re all making themselves look bad! Teresa’s success just keeps adding up. It’s really pathetic, and it’s not even fun to watch anymore! The Bravo formula is becomming tired, and kind of sickening really. They claim to stand up to Bullying, but really they sponsor and validate Bullying in every franchise of their show!

Yes this was also a good reveal when jac said she did evil things and did anyone notice that melissa,kathy,and jac was all quiet when caroline was fighting with teresa to be honest I think they are all guilty in selling stories…not one of them said anything to teresa about the stuff she said about them in the tabloids but yet all of them are upset with her about it…I can understand why caroline was upset its one thing to talk about a person but when u start attacking someones kids that’s low…why didn’t teresa talk about how miliana is disrespectful for her age in her cookbook or how gia talks about to her??????

Let’s face it, if Teresa hadn’t been invited, the cameras wouldn’t ahve been there. The only reason why the winery (I forget the name) chose Chris Manzo to do their “marketing” on the East Coast was because they knew they would receive nation-wide publicity through the show. So the Manzos had to invite Teresa to their “business meeting”. Who in their right mind invites people they are practically enemies with to a very important business meeting? This is a “reality” TV show after all!
The show has degenerated into a giant promo for different brands. I don’t even know why I bother watching it. Force of habit I guess.
You are so right! I wish Teresa would of turned that trip down. It would of caused the ratings to drop if super T. hadn’t gone with her husband. I think that if Bravo continues to put Teresa in a position of being attacked and they don’t do anything to change it around it’s going to be the end of several seasons of high ratings. There is a VERY big difference with the Laurita and the Giudice’s.
The Giudice’s were able to resind their bankruptcy, and are in the process of paying their creditors.
The Laurita’s do not have that option, they are facing FEDERAL CRIMES, cause they forced their company into bankruptcy. Chris and Jac are both facing jail time.

It is easy to find what companies he has interests in. We could run a disclosure search for corp entities on a nation pride basis that will tell us filings opinion all 50 states where he would be a registered member or majority shareholder of a company. What we cannot find out easily is minority and secondary financing associations. Most States have filings as public info on their website through the department of State. But all are listed in a Lexis Nexis or West corp membership or agent search. You just need full name.

The Laurita brothers and Jaqueline as well as the Manzo boys are being charged with both, stealing BLK from the real owners of the company Blackwater, when they were merely supposed to be promoting them… calling it their company and setting it up so that all the money goes to them… They are also being charged with using corporate funds, that belong to all of the company’s shareholders, to fund the exorbinant lifestyle, pay for their private trips, cars, etc…and bankrupting the company, while diverting funds into the new company. To the tune of over 8 million dollars.
Sure Juicy went bankrupt in the biggest finacial meltdown, and a partner accused him of taking out a loan in his name, which was dismissed.. after Joe demonstrated to the court that it was their usual and normal practice to allow Joe to handle that stuff and sign for him, and said partner only sued when they went under to remove himself from financial liability! He also had a Dui… and used his brother’s drivers license… (excuse me, but at least 25% of my own daughter’s friends have done this at least once) There’s a huge difference between the two… Teresa is paying back all of their debt… The Lauritas havebeen accused of committing fedral crime, of embezzlement and misapprioation of funds, also Fraud. Yet Bravo hasn’t asked them a word about this have they? And incidentally, neither has Teresa. No… funny isn’t it?

Teresa’s family feud would never have been the worlds business if the Gorgas and the Wakilies did not join the show and if Melissa did not talk to Danielle. Think about it, we became aware of T’s financial situation after Danielle said her house was in foreclosure. The source was Melissa because she wanted on the show, When Mel and Kathy got their wish, the world witnessed baby Joey’s christening. This started the wave of magazines covers. These stories reported the hateful things that her relatives and so called friends were saying behind her back .
That is exactly what i wrote to teresa on the bravo blog, but i have a hard time posting since they changed the way you can post, i hate it. One more thing, it was melissa running around blogs trying to expose teresa and her finances even before an episode even aired. And, all those bankruptcy stories broke once danielle ran to the papers telling them what melissa told her and i bet melissa and her sister’s were also sources. As she said she hated her at the time.

We have never known anything about Teresa’s family problems whatsoever until the Gorgas and Wakiles came on the show. If Melissa and Kathy really didn’t want their family drama being completely released to the world, then they shouldn’t have agreed to come on the show.
Well what a double standard from Jacqueline. I thought both Joe Guidice and Joey Gorga were cringe worthy at the vineyard, with Joe Gorga being moreso. Flaming Joe Guidice and not Joe Gorga is weird in my book. Frankly bring either of those guys or friends in general on a business trip is just stupid. Next I think Jaqueline is missing the point. Teresa has said she works with the magazines she has been clear about that. However, never have I heard her say she plants the stories. She has also denied getting paid for the stories. Furthermore, most of the quotes in the publications that the other women take issue with are taken primarily from the show. Bottom line, Teresa is doing publicity for the show. She is not selling the stories and I did not hear any big revelations in her conversation with Melissa from anything she has thus far expressed.
I for one would like Jaqueline to explain all of her false accusations against Teresa that have been refuted yet Jacqueline has never apologized for wrongly pointing the finger. This includes Danielle, (not Teresa) telling the tabloids ahe was a LV stripper, and Bravo, (not Teresa) getting that Lookers guy to the fashion show to confront Melissa.
I asked myself as I seem to everytime I watch this show lately, why are the other womens shorts in such a knot. They never clarify what they want an apology for and Teresa has apologized for no end of stuff this season, and its never good enough. Yes you do things you wouldn’t normally do, but at least in my case it did not hinder my integrity as a person or somehow alter my state of mind enough to intentionally hurt a good friend like this. The terrible things you do as an addict whether it be alcohol or any other substance does not in my mind change the core of who you are or who you start out as. I have struggled with this addiction all of my life, and yes I have hurt people, (the very ones I love the most in fact), but I always, and I mean ALWAYS took responsibility for my actions and apologized to the person I hurt. The person that you are inside never changes that drastically. I for one hope that wacko-jacko will find her inner peace and admit to her wrongs. Actually it was nothing. I read them while getting my hair down. I read Teresa’s story in June and the current issue. The only statement Teresa said is fact that people talk about her spending habits, which is true they do. As for the Joe scene. It was only referenced to the promo and to the car incident when she went off on Joey Gorga and her family. There is absolutely nothing about the other cast members personal life. The articles then go on the create their own narrative around the interview.

Melissa tweeted the same phrase when she watched the episode last week before it aired. So what do they do, sit at the same table and write together? I’m not buying what Jacqueline is selling. Her son having autism is no reason for her to act like a complete moron. In addition, from the interview she gave to People magazine (hello! Pot meet kettle…giving those magazine interviews), it sounds as if her son is on the lower end of the autism spectrum and with early intervention therapy, will be high functioning.
She put this story out to gain sympathy and to try and save her gig on the show. She needs to stfu and focus on her son.

Luckily, it seems as if it was caught early, he is communicative, and high functioning. HOWEVER…if I remember the People article, I believe that she stated that the child began displaying signs at 18 mos and he is now 4. It’s pretty slick that when her role on the show is going down the toilet, this comes out. Quite clever I must say.

I do sympathize with Jac and Chris, and am sorry to hear the news about their son. I have worked with special needs children for many years. Nicholas does appear to be a high functioning child with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and with the proper programs and support he should IMO do very well. The earlier they get him into programs the better the outcome for Nicholas.

No one is being cruel. Please Jac’s action speaks voumes and not in a good way. SHe is passive aggressive towards Teresa. I feel sad for her child with Autism and I hope therapy will help. Additionally, I hope this is an actual misdiagnosis which would be a blessing due to the fact that there is high tendency to misdiagnosis autism in children under the age of 12.
However, her son having Autism does not excuse her behavior towards Teresa. It could never excuse it. It is apples and oranges.

Expressing an opinion is not a bash. You need to understand that.
Further, that some and I include myself in the group believe her coming out that Nicholas has autism is calculated is my insincere opinion. I do feel for her, her son especially and her family for the diagnosis and the eventual trials, but I do not think it excuses her actions in the slightest.
Moreover, the timing of this release seems calculated. It is to create good press for her. IMO. She has created so much horrible press on Twitter, FB, blogs, TV, and through her mother both FB and twitter. I do believe she used the article on autism as a board to clear some of the contempt.
Finally, I believe she and that underhanded extended family of her’s the Manzos are trying to establish a link that BLK helps medical conditions and illnesses. Albie was quoted in Patch relating a story of a woman whose child has autism getting better by drinking BLK. Jac personally in May and June tweeted articles non-scientific articles I will add that linked BLK and health treatments including autism.

I don’t know what to think about Jacqueline. I really don’t. After watching Caroline and Kathy press Jacqueline for answers regarding the private conversation she had with Teresa, I can’t help but think that she is stuck.
I think Jacqueline could have a full, happier life if she could stay away from Caroline. Caroline has control of Jacqueline and Caroline is using her brother to control his own wife. Until Chris gets away from Caroline and tells Caroline once and for all to mind her own business, Caroline will control not only Jacqueline, but Chris as well. He needs to stop being his sister’s brother and start being a husband.

I comment on this site all the time and generally agree with a lot of what is said. However, I do not wish any of these housewives to go broke, lose their homes or go to jail regardless of their antics.
