Jacqueline Explains She Is Hurt With Teresa’s Comments And Talks The Gia Situation
RHONJ star Jac Laurita took to her blog to explain that she is hurt with Teresa’s comment regarding her feeling sorry for Ashley. Jacqueline also talks about the Gia situation and admits to going to far by reading a book to her about ‘being a bad sport.’
“Sorry my blog is so late this week. I have been working on so many great projects that have been keeping me very busy. I can’t wait to share them with you. I appreciate all of your love and support, and I just want to be able to give something back to you. Everything will be revealed in time.
I would discuss Lauren’s body image issues (which most women have), but I already know how that story ends. The girl is rocking a new slim, toned figure now! She feels a lot more confident and truly looks amazing. She owns and runs her own beauty store called Cafface in Franklin Lakes, which is doing very well. Lauren is in a well-deserved, happy place. We are all very proud of her.
Let’s get to what every episode has been about so far — Teresa’s family drama! Anyone else hear Joe say in this episode while he and Teresa were driving in the car, “You’re brother is always telling sh– to you and then you’re coming back and saying shit to me”? Didn’t Teresa say that she never told her husband anything her brother told her? According to her, only pansies do that. The stuff Teresa would tell Joe though was always her own perception of what was really said or sometimes her twisted view of what happened. I have been a witness to this at times. I guess that is why people say that there are three sides to every story. Everybody has their own perception of what happened. Not everybody interprets things the same way. I saw things said and done wrong on both ends, but since Teresa was my friend, I spent a lot more of my time with her. As a friend, I advised her against some of it, but in the end, it was Teresa’s decision. Moving on…
When I said, as a parent, that I wouldn’t want my kids to see the fighting that Teresa’s kids see, it was because I completely related to their situation. I felt the same way when CJ was around to overhear me and Ashlee fighting. I was very proactive in finding ways to get our situation under control. We worked at it from many angles and went to many outside people, including family and friends for help. Ashlee and I went to therapy together in hopes of resolving our issues or to at least learn how to get our points across constructively. Sometimes you have to learn to pick your battles and when to just disengage and walk away. I’m not claiming it is an easy process, because it’s not. It’s all trial and error. People in general need to learn how to communicate constructively.
I’m disheartened that Teresa lied to me about her brother texting and apologizing to her. I saw the text message on Joe’s phone that day, and I even saw that Teresa had responded. I couldn’t believe that Teresa lied right to my face over something so trivial. It baffled me, because it was actually a positive exchange between them. Why wouldn’t she want me to know that? I found that disappointing and manipulative.
I wanted field day to be a lot of fun for everybody. I put a lot of time, effort, and thought into organizing this day so that everyone could work together as a team and reconnect. I used to love field day at school, and I still love it as an adult.
n case you didn’t figure it out, Melissa, Teresa, Kathy, and Joey were together on the same team by design. I didn’t want them competing against each other for once. I wanted them to see the strength in working together as a team. I wanted them to forget why they were even fighting. I kept thinking that the more good memories they make, the less they will remember the bad.
It hurt me so badly when Teresa said that she really wasn’t having any fun and didn’t even want to be there, because she would have rather gone down to the shore. I thought that was so rude, hurtful and ungrateful.
Most of us saw Gia running into the house upset about her team not winning while shouting at everyone calling them cheaters. It was a bit disturbing. Although, I couldn’t help but notice Gia was the one cheating at the dunk tank game. LOL! Nobody was seriously being mean to anyone! You can clearly see everyone laughing, teasing, and being playful. We all love Gia. I think Gia is just misguided and maybe a bit hormonal as well. It’s typical for a 10 year old to be emotional. Of all people, I think I understand that very well. I went inside after Gia, because I cared about her feelings.
This day was supposed to be about fun and I didn’t want Gia feeling upset like that. I went in after her to get her to snap out of it and come back outside to join everyone. I was trying to be funny at first and tried to make her laugh to change her mood, but she told me to go away. I tried to explain that everybody was just being silly and having fun, but she continued to say rude things to me, Caroline, and my friend’s son. I kept calm and I told her that if she wanted her mom, she was outside and she should get up to go get her. I really didn’t want her sitting alone in the basement pouting all day with the cameras on her. I didn’t want to bother Teresa at first, because she was outside having fun, or so it seemed, filming with her family. I eventually did tell my friend’s son to go out and get Teresa, which is why she eventually came in, at her own leisure, to see what was wrong. In the meantime, I decided to read her the book, Being a Bad Sport by Joy Berry, a Help Me Be Good book series. YES, FOR GODSAKES, ANOTHER BOOK DRAMA! I thought the book might make sense to her, and that it would get her to understand the emotions she was feeling. I thought it might also give her a different way to handle the situation and the feelings she was having. It’s good to be competitive, but it’s also important to be a good sport.
I realized shortly after Gia ran up the stairs to get away from me that I may have overstepped my boundaries as a best friend/honorary aunt. I felt horrible instantly. I apologized many, many times. As familiar as we were with each other, like family, it really wasn’t my place to teach Gia a lesson. I still feel horrible about it to this very day. I was surprised at the overwhelming amount of support I got for doing that. Thank you for understanding the situation, however, I learned to never cross that line again. That doesn’t take away the fact that Gia was extremely rude and disrespectful to me in my home, and I hope that at some point Teresa had a talk with her about that. From what I am hearing on Twitter, most people would have been a lot more aggressive with her than I was. After I handed out the grand prize to the winning team, which was a giant block of provolone cheese, I read another Help Me Be Good book to the adults on cheating. Fair is fair, and that seemed to satisfy Gia.
One of the few times Teresa ever brought up Ashlee to me in the 10 years I knew her, most of the time only on camera, she told me that she felt sorry for me about what I had to go through with Ashlee. She said that she would never talk about or judge someone else’s parenting, because she still had four daughters to raise. Now I clearly see that it was B.S.
When Teresa said in her interview to look at me, because maybe that’s why Ashlee is so rebellious and is the way she is and that she felt sorry for Ashlee, I was confused and a little insulted as to what she meant by that. Does she mean that I should have used HER parenting techniques and never have disciplined Ashlee and just allow her run wild like she does with her children? I’m confused. Her children, as adorable as they are, call her a stunad, tell their siblings to bite their mother, and please don’t even get me started on Milania’s rebellious ways. Yet she wants to call MY child rebellious and put that on me? That was laughable. Buckle up, Teresa. Let’s check back with each other in a few years when your children are teenagers. We will compare stories then.
Ironically, I was thinking the exact same thing about Gia. I feel sorry for her. Maybe Gia reacts the ways she does because of the way Teresa handles her (or doesn’t). Teresa should pay closer attention to the way Gia is already speaking to her parents and other adults at the early age of 10, because I recognize some of that behavior and Teresa may have a long, hard road ahead of her. She still has four girls to raise, so she should be careful what she insinuates about other people’s parenting. Good luck with that.
It’s amazing to me that Teresa keeps trying to convince everyone that she is so real and has moved on to a better place, when I know that’s not the case. I think it’s odd that she doesn’t have the bravery to say it in her blog or social media or anywhere else that would leave a trail to her and her true feelings. She can keep on being the fake Teresa I have figured her out to be, while I will just keep being real and showing my true feelings. I’m not afraid to stand behind what I say publicly and it’s the same things I have already said to Teresa’s face. Keep knocking on that wood, Teresa. Go ahead, knock yourself out. Maybe one day you will wake up.
I really wish Teresa meant everything that she says. I truly do. I wish she could really be sincere for once. The truth is, she hasn’t changed a bit and that is unfortunate, but it does make my decision to stay away so much easier. Ironically, such good, positive things and people have been coming into my life since our friendship ended. I need to keep moving forward. Once this season ends, there is no need to look back.”
Jacqueline makes a good point. I don’t know why Teresa wouldn’t tell Jac that Joe ended up texting her. Regardless Teresa should have called Jac and told her about it since she previously said the two didn’t speak. I also agree with Jacqueline when she says “Everybody has their own perception of what happened” because the way she described what happened with Gia is totally different from how I saw it. She says that Gia continued to be rude to her and Caroline but from what I saw was a girl who was being taunted from adults that didn’t understand why she was really upset. If Jac is upset with what Teresa said about Ashley who by the way continues to bash Teresa via twitter why would she put down Teresa’s parenting skills when she was upset with Teresa doing it? When someone says something that you get upset by, I don’t think you should do the same thing considering you just complained that you were hurt by the comment. When Jac was reading the book, it wasn’t sincere. She was laughing while reading. I’m glad she acknowledged she shouldn’t have read the book. Do you think Jac has a right to be upset with Teresa about the Ashley comment? Thoughts on what Jac had to say?

I do think Gia was rude, but being aggressive with a child is never the answer. I cannot believe she cannot look how easily Kathy defused the situation. Gia loved it and I am sure Teresa appreciated it.
But, what I cannot believe is Jac comparing a 21 year old Ashlee to a five year old Milania. Is Jac insane? Has she been placed on some sort of medication? Does she understand the stupidity of her statement?

Come, on you’re going to trash a 10 year old, and then Jac continues in her blog dissing the entire Guidice children! That is so wrong on so many levels. I think Jac is a mean, immature person and I’m glad she plans on staying away from Teresa. I guess all she said on twitter about wanting to find a way to re-connect was pure bullshit eh?
I don’t understand how people think Teresa is at fault for her family drama when she had no hand in making it public. It was her brother and sister in law who did that. I don’t understand how people don’t sympathize with her desire to keep her troubles under wraps. However, most of my friends think Caroline and Jacqueline are the sane ones and Teresa is the nut.
Reading Jac’s blog is just confirmation to me that Jac is no friend to T. The entire thing sounds like a taunt. Teresa makes ONE COMMENT about Ashlee, after keeping her mouth shut for years, and Jac can’t look past it, even tho she has stuck HER nose in T’s business over and over. It’s insane!

Don’t let the fact that you are in the minority opinion make you second-guess yourself. Remember, if common sense was all that ‘common,’ the world wouldn’t be in the sorry state it is now. Don’t think for a minute it doesn’t have anything to do with the fact that critical thinking is on the critical list. We have to keep it alive wherever and whenever we can.
In fact, when my kids would tell me, “…but my friends are allowed to…” I would always remark back, “thanks for telling me that. Now I KNOW I’m right.”

As far as dishing on meeting Tre-it was awesome. The bookstore had a line that started in their basement and snaked around the entire store, up and down aisles. It started at 7. I got there at 7:20, and heard that she had started at 6:30 cuz there were so many people already there-tho I don’t know if that’s true.
At the very early stages of the line, you got to stand right next to the table Teresa was sitting at which was nice because you got to hear her with other people. At some point, Joe arrived to a BIG cheer lol. People were giving Teresa flowers, pastries, wrapped gifts etc, and she was very gracious to everyone. Lots asked for hugs and she hugged them all-I think Juicy hugged a few who asked too lol. They both posed for a picture with every fan.
I told Teresa that she was an inspiration for the way she’s handled herself and that I thought she was a very strong woman and a great role model. I told Joe that I knew he didn’t like being on the show and that I thought he was being more patient than people give him credit for. He has very warm eyes and was so supportive of T. SHE is gorgeous, although my sister who came with me and never watches the show thought her eyelashes were over the top haha. She is just a nice, friendly woman…I have never done anything like this before but I had to go meet Teresa. So glad I did!

thanks guys…felt a little dumb after I realized I had just posted pics of myself on a public blog, but I did it right before running out the door for a few hours. I’ve been hoping people didn’t think it was weird haha.
And yes, I found out about the appearance via the website Say What mentioned: http://www.TeresaGiudice.com. I just happened to look on Saturday and saw she was appearing near me the following Monday! I was psyched.
She is very buff-a couple of people mentioned her toned arms, and they WERE awesome once I looked. Joe was just beaming. I can’t describe it any other way. He looked so happy for her, and seemed to be enjoying meeting Teresa’s fans.
One thing I forgot to mention that I thought was hilarious to watch while standing in line-the bookstore Teresa appeared in is a wealthy, largely Jewish, liberal, extremely educated community. The bookstore had LOTS of regulars who were there to get the latest translation of something or other, or just to hang amongst themselves, and the looks on their faces to see ALL of us lined up and snaking thru the store to see Tre were priceless. You must be joking. LOL! Most people tune into the show to see Teresa. No one cares about the Manzos and that is a fact. Caroline is one of the most hate people on Twitter and FB. You must not do Twitter searches because no one cares to talk to her. No one would care to see Melissa, if Teresa were not around.
This is a show about family dynamics. Even Caroline has stated this as the precept of the Real Housewives of NJ. You need to have family for a show. Jac is boring. Look at social media’s perception of Jac, which is Jac is not really thought of one way or another she is an afterthought. Caroline is despised and has been from season 1. Melissa is scorned by the vast majority of the public as seen on social media. Kathy is liked and Teresa for the most part is loved.
The best part of this is Teresa is loved not because of who she is. Yes, we like her she is quirky, ditzy and funny. The real reason she is loved is because of the patented Bravo theme of ganging up on one character. We see through it. Most bloggers actually see through it. Even on Lynn’s site 90% and yes that is 90% see Teresa as the victim. Social media is what killed Jill Zarin. Jill fought and battled against negative tweets much like Melissa, Melissa’s sisters, Jac and Bonnie it never ends well. The best way to handle the public is to ignore it and do not explain away your mistakes on social media.
Bethenny never fought on social media and now she is riding high. Jim Beam Deal for her Skinny Girl Drinks, Walmart deal of Skinny Girl Skin Care, Fox deal for talk show, 3 to 4 NYTimes best sellers, and Bethenny is laughing to the bank.
When you block and act like a nut the public sees it. You don’t even have to like the person or think they are right to pull for them. Teresa is now the martyr and that is what Jac, Caro, Marcosisters, Bonnie, and Joey have made her. They created St. Teresa because they cannot stop talking about her.
Bravo is not stupid. Andy knows and more than anything Comcasts’ Steve Burke likes a winner and Teresa is one. That is why they placed her on CA which is Network for NBC. Susan Malfa knows she can sell a show with Teresa more easily to Advertisers and one without their star.
Just, a FYI Bravo is a for profit business. They in the game of making money. They live by distribution rights and ad sales. They do not throw away a star unless they legally have to or ratings would require a change or Teresa had adversely affected her fan base.

Oh how high and mighty of Jac to BLOG about Teresa. Teresa said it best at the season 3 reunion, “she started something, she should be here to finish it.” I have no respect for Jac after not showing up to the season 3 reunion. Clearly Teresa had just finished a bash-fest by the others on her (season 4 filming) and still had the decency to show up to the reunion. Now Jac wants to run her mouth about Teresa and now her kids too? Is she serious? Lets see Jac confront Teresa one and one and see how that goes.
If anything should be learned from any of the HW Franchises’ its that KIDS ARE OFF LIMITS, especially the children. Granted, some kids are old enough to be discussed and choose to be on the show, Brianna (OC), Manzos and Ashlee (NJ), etc. but the smaller children do not and therefore that is something that should not be discussed. Miliania did not do anything in this episode to Jac, near Jac or anything yet Jac talks crap about her in her blog? I really do not understand how she gets off thinking that is okay. Also, Jac’s only story line is Ashlee so Jac should be grateful Teresa hasn’t been commenting about her since season 1! Ashlee had a choice to not be filmed (although i’m sure if she would have declined then Jac wouldn’t be on the show), and Teresa never commented negatively about anything. Teresa says one thing, after a season of bashing, and Jac is going to blow it up? I just hope that after this season Teresa leaves the show, and there is nothing left for NJ. That, or they cut the Manzos/Lauritas and move on to happier, more positive things.

Yes I do think she should be mad about the ashlee comment. First off, Ashley is an adult now and what we have seen is her in her terrible teens and early 20′s…so not at all comparable to Gia’s 10 yrs. Also. its another attempt by Theresa to throw on to Jacquelines family what is really going on in her own. I do think her girls are cute as anything, but you can see there is NO discipline in their lives and that Theresa thinks thats ok. If they dont have some guidelines and rules a little girls, they will be out of control in another few years and theresa will have no one to blame but herself and Joe. To say the Giudice kids are undisciplined is absolutely untrue. We have seen many instances of Teresa chiding those kids when they need it. And given that we know Bravo have decided Teresa and Joe are getting the bad edit, that those scenes were ever aired at all makes me wonder how much more we could have seen of their disciplining the girls.* Maybe you’re at the refrigerator or taking a comfort break when those scenes air.
*Take Audrianna’s “boo-boo” two weeks ago. You know the one where they tried to make it look as if Joe was just knockin’ em back, drunkenly ignoring the baby while Gia had to deal with it. First of all, if you look at the boo-boo you see it’s an abrasion, a scrape. That tells me she likely got it while playing outside. Get it? In other words, some time before that particular scene was shot. Abrasions ooze for awhile. It is patently obvious that the boo-boo had already been tended but as any 2-year old (especially a girl) will do with a boo-boo, Audrianna continued to carry on. Joe was just trying to keep her from going ‘full drama’ by trying to downplay the scrape while Gia, (who, by the way, is not being exploited as a surrogate but learning to nurture and help out around the house which are both positives that will serve her well later in life) did what big sisters do, she indulged her baby sister. I look at the Giudice’s and see a loud, loving family who will do just fine.
Oh, before I forget, I was also very impressed by how Joe handled Audrianna’s taking a tumble in this week’s episode. If you recall he laughed an exaggerated laugh and then she just toddled off. It is the EXACT same thing I did with my kids. If a baby/toddler falls down and you react in shock and horror like you expect them to be hurt they will scream and cry. Act like you thought they were trying to do a trick and laugh it off and 8 out of ten times they will too.
You are so right about the kids – immediately after they fall down, there is that 10-15 seconds where they look at you with the quivering lip. It’s like they are asking you how they should react.

Um, didn’t Teresa’s comment about Ashlee came after Jacqueline reprimanded Gia. She was only reacting to how Jac treated Gia, right? Or have the recaps I’ve read incorrectly?
Well unlike Jacqueline, Teresa is becoming a better person. She’s one of the only housewives I’ve seen improve over the seasons. I mean she’s been ganged up on for a few months at this point and she’s not even close to flipping tables. Teresa immediately comforted Gia and remain calm instead of reacting to Caroline and Jacqueline cornering her child. Now that’s not only a better Teresa, but that’s a truely good mom. It was not about her anger, but about what was best for her child. (A better mom than Jac, who flipped out over her daughter’s snarky comment, in the middle of a crowded restaurant, and made it all about herself by bawling her eyes out in a bathroom.)
Maybe Jac should check in with Teresa in 11 years, when Gia’s Ashlee’s age, because I bet Gia will be contemplating senior thesis topics and planning her future. Not partying in Las Vegas without a college degree or job.

My one, tiny disagreement with you is when you say that the Teresa we see now is changed. I think she has always been this sane, this loving and this loyal person we see now. The table flip was out of character for her, and she’s said that many times-but people don’t believe it. She also said that nothing like the christening ever happened in her family before. She was just as mortified as you or I would be if that were OUR family, and she was mortified she flipped the table. So, I guess she has changed in that now she is making sure not to act like that again, but I don’t think it was a regular thing for her to act crazy and out of control like that…know what I mean?
I totally see your point about her table flipping and that being an extreme moment she never wants to repeat again. And I 100% agree with you that Teresa’s the same as far as being loyal, sane and loving.
What I mean by a better Teresa is that she’s a lot less reactionary than she used to be. (Bummer for Bravo and the other Jersey housewives.) Wow Jacquelyn, come on.You love to twist what people say to try to prove your point. Teresa tells Joe what is going on between her and her brother NOT what Joey says about Joe. There IS a difference, one is sharing and one is causing trouble. You and Ashlee went to therapy twice because the therapist didn’t say what you wanted to hear, so you wouldn’t go anymore. Ashlee already told us about that. Also, how do you know that when you spoke to Teresa on the phone that she had actually heard from her brother at that time? You don’t know, you’re just jumping to the conclusions that suit you. WHY would Teresa want to be at field day with a bunch of people who don’t like her, why is that strange to you?
As for Gia, the cameras wouldn’t have been on her if you and Caroline didn’t go running downstairs after her. She was sitting with that boy, venting. She is old enough to work her way out of her own emotional state but you and Caroline wouldn’t allow her to do that. You both cornered her and tried to ‘teach her a lesson’. When Gia tried to explain to you why she was upset by calmly telling you that your team cheated, you LAUGHED in her face. Which would be fine if she was teasing you, but she was upset. When you laughed Gia said ‘if you think it’s funny then why don’t you just go outside’. In otherwords, Gia knew you weren’t there to listen to her, just to mock her. She knew your intentions and THAT is why she didn’t show you or Caroline any respect. You think she doesn’t hear and read the horrible things you say about her mother, she doesn’t trust you or your motives… she’s a smart girl. And for the record, I’ve always felt bad for Ashlee as well, you are so busy trying to push her to be what you want her to be you never stop to LISTEN to her. I’m sure you wanted to be a great mother and tried with her, you’re just not that good at it because you are too emotional and immature.

And Jacqueline and Caroline completely misinterpret that for their own purposes. They try to make it seem that Gia is so spoiled that she is ordering Jac out of her own home. I agree. For a while now, I’ve wanted to see Caroline and Jac go. Yes, Mel and Kathy too, but I knew that wasn’t likely. Now I really just want to see Teresa go on to another show and leave the rest of the cast as is, and add another element. If this scenario plays out 2 things will happen: The Manzos will turn on skanky Melissa so fast it’ll make her head spin and the ratings will DROP down into the basement. Oh, and 1 or all of them might end up in a psych ward, with an IV Lithium drip babbling about how Teresa Giudice stole their business opportunities.

As much as I can’t stand Melissa, I’d actually rather see Caroline get hers. IMO she is the worst. It’s pretty plain to see that Melissa is the manipulator and Jac is a drunken mess but Caroline is the one that exploits their behavior and then tries to act like she is above everyone else. I don’t think Melissa or Jac would be pulling half the crap they are if they did not have the endorsement and encouragement from Caroline. yes absolutely,, last season when she and Chris were there with Ashlee’s father and his wife and Jac was crying in the basement. I knew right then that Ashlee with dealing with a mother who wanted to be a friend rather than a mother. Ashlee so obviously needs a mother. I feel sorry for Ashlee.
Jac is forcing Ashlee to live the life SHE would have led if she hadn’t gotten pregnant. But Ashlee isn’t Jacqueline and maybe doesn’t want to live the life her mother wanted to live. I always respect your opinions but as far as Teresa not telling you about the text I think is because Joe G lied as to when he sent her the text. In addition I do believe it was advised by Bravo to mention it while going to the party. Teresa as you know is a loyal smart person and will fire back when she has too, I can assure you that as shes also my friend shes tight lipped about her brother and Mellisa. Again I need to come to her defense because I know stuff that I’m not allowed to say, and I’m pretty open to being vocal. But I do respect how you feel and that’s why your so successful.

Is there anything that you can say without breaking any friendship rules? I ask because a lot of us are really tired of this mess and the way Teresa and her family are being treated this season (even though it was a year ago). I read a post on another blog saying that they knew for sure that her family were getting the bad edit this season because of a friend who works for the production company. I have to say that despite your little “feud” that you had with Jacqueline, I like and respect that fact that you still give her kudos and credit where credit is due and that you acknowledge the good points that she makes. There are so many times where she starts off so well with her blog and then ends up messing it up a little by taking it a bit to unnecessary territory. But overall I do love Jac. One can obviously see she is a sweet and funny person if you are with her in person, but it is her use of twitter and social media that antagonizes her. People sometimes express frustration better through writing and she at times doesn’t know how to filter herself but I mean what are you gonna do. She’s sometimes wrong but over she is a great person and she obviously is a great mom by how she takes care of Nicholas and CJ.

I agree. I believe that Jac tries to be a good mom. She definitely has challenges with Ashlee or had. I do believe from what we saw in the footage that she handled her relationship with Ashlee terribly. Airing such problems on camera, in my opinion, only exacerbate those problems. I think for the first 3 seasons it was a very poor choice on Jac’s part. She should have parented and not infront of America.
However, she is very good with CJ and Nick. They are darling children.
Parenting comes with problems on both sides of the aisle. It is seldom only a child or parent’s fault. I think sometimes you make good choices and sometimes you make bad choices, but in the end I believe that Jac loves all her children equally and she loves them a lot.
I do believe that she wants to stay on the show to reap the benefits and opportunities the show allows like the BLK water, writing beauty articles, and consulting opportunities. At this point, she needs the revenue due to the bankruptcy she is in with Chris and BLK is just at the beginning not a lot of money is or should be pulled out of the business at this point.
I do not think staying on the show is exclusive to Jac. I know Tre needs this show more than anything at this point. However, Jac’s position was in jeopardy. She had problems with Bravo starting in October hence not appearing but Twitting ad nauseum during the S3 reunion. It is fine to take a stand, but Jac’s simultaneous tweet by tweet and DMs during the reunion were beyond ridiculous. I respect people who take a stand. I do not respect people that hide. Jac hid and then used Twitter and FB to state her case during every hour of the airing of S3 reunion. Her actions demonstrate a coward and a dishonest person. Reunions are their come to Jesus moment after the season and not appearing, but then to make your POV known without cross examination is specious and not indicative of a truthful person. IMO

My boyfriend watches the show with me and Jacqueline is his least favorite person. The reason is — and watch for it in repeats — she’s always screaming at Ashley while she’s holding the baby. That poor baby (and I’m sure the older one) have had their little ears screamed in by her time and time again because she can’t control her temper. The idea of her lecturing Gia on temper is frankly hilarious to me.
I know-I have always felt sorry for the little ones–it makes me sad to watch.
There is so much I could say here but rather than type off a long rant I’m just going to focus on the one aspect of Jacqueline’s blog that really stands out for me.
I don’t agree with the behavior on either side. Teresa didn’t handle the situation well. Jacqueline didn’t handle the situation well and Gia most definitely was over dramatic.
That being said, I am hysterical at the point in Jac’s blog where she makes a point of mentioning that her Twitter followers not only support her but would have behaved even more aggressively towards Gia. This after a nice long paragraph expressing how disheartening Teresa’s dishonesty was about not letting on that Joe texted her an apology.
Well Jacqueline, if we are all being honest here then maybe you should admit that the minute someone questions you or disagrees with you on Twitter you block them!! Maybe you should admit that the reason you are getting so much positive feedback is because that is all you allow on you feed!! Maybe you should learn that by simply hitting the delete and block buttons on your computer situations and bad behavior don’t just go away!! Ignoring the other side doesn’t make you right!!

Now she’s throwing digs at Milania? Does she forget that a sizeable portion of the audience has or had a small child at one time? One of the reasons I get such a kick out of Milania is that she reminds me of mine at that age! During her very first music recital, she stuck her tongue out at the entire audience (not her finest moment). She spent the majority of Preschool and Kindergarten doing “hard time” in the Sorry Chair. My other kid? She was as quiet as a church mouse and shy. They are all different.
How did my Milania end up? She just finshed her BA in Music (Magna Cum Laude, thank you very much) and is preparing herself for her graduate studies. Not all sassy kids end up like Ashlee.

Gia and Milania are kids! Kids who are still growing up and going through normal stages of childhood. They are still growing and evolving. It’s really disturbing to read Jac’s blog holding them to standards higher than any of the adults on the show. And standards her under educated, unemployed, ungrateful ADULT daughter has not yet achieved.

Personally, I bet that every time Ashlee said something disrespectful, Jac had a meltdown, screamed and cried, told her she gave up her whole life for her and she’s a disappointment, called the Manzos in to rip her apart and call her dumb or fat, and then kicked the kid out of the house. I don’t care that you’re 5–get out! I’ve never seen someone so immature and disrespectful. She never got the memo that once you have kids, you have to stop acting like a child and let them act like children. As teresa’s girls grow older, one thing they will know is that they were her greatest gift – they were wanted and loved. That comes across lous and clear.
We all make mistakes as parents, and it’s easy to judge, but I do know that the minute that a television show resulted in my daughter standing in front of a judge – I would have been out of there. Bravo contract or not.
what upsets me the most is that Jac is refusing to see that by trying to come across as the sainted, beleaguered parent of an out of control child, she is not helping her daughter!! What kind of mom allows her child to be portrayed on television as the source of all her anxiety and stress? I hope Ashlee’s dad can show her some love and acceptance along with some guidance, cuz she needs it!!

I agree Lauren and we should all get this word out. Like many ppl, I think, I used to post on BRAVO ( or try to ) but I gave up when I saw what their game was. I never rude or inappropriate, but definitely ANTI Manzo and maybe 2 of my 30 tries made it onto the boards. I also don’t believe their BS “polls” on WWHL. They ALWAYS favor the person pitted against Teresa, even though the comments on the internet are more like 80 PRO Tree. HOWEVER, I have read the BRAVO blog comment sections the last couple of days at other ppl’s urging and I too have noticed a hell of a lot more negative comments about the Manzo/Laurita clan seem to be getting through. While it’s possible that more casual viewers are just now catching on to their MO and/or are just disappointed with this season’s ” TERESA GIUDICE IS THE WORST PERSON WHO EVER LIVED. LETS TAKE HER DOWN!!!” storyline, I really think BRAVO has made a calculated decision to ease up on the Tree hate and I think Jac and Don are going to be fired. So I dunno, maybe it’s worth a shot to try and post at BRAVO again? We’ll see.

I usually don’t comment,but after reading Jacko’s blog I am soooo disgusted! What struck me the most about what she wrote was the way in which her hatred for T came out .Her words seemed to show such a bitterness and loathing for Teresa that it nearly took my breath away. It’s hard to believe that they were ever really friends.The way that she is going after T’s children is horrible. I’m hoping the reason for such deep hatred is the fact that she was finally given the official word that she will not be back next season and she hates T for it. All along I have been hoping that T would decide to leave after this season,but to tell you the truth I really love her and her kids on the show and I would really miss seeing them.I think the more fitting ending would be if jac,caroline and her sorry ass kids all get canned and teresa continues on with the show while they are all at home seething!

Well I am happy to see we can all communicate and keep it clean. I think the major point is Jaqueline is emotionally younger then Gia. Ashlee and Jaq’s mom are immature. Truly this family needs help. I think putting a troubles teens on national Tv is a recipe for disaster. This led to partying, drinking NyQuil, assault charges, not going to college, and living in a LA all alone. So I can see why Teresa does not want parenting advice from Jaq who would she is a trainwreck.
I don’t know if anyone else mentioned this but I wanted to know if Teresa and her family always attended field day? If so than there’s where the trouble lies! Not Teresa but Caroline and Jac for inviting the Gorgas and Wakiles. They must have never had a problem before or it would have been mentioned.

Congratulations to Jac, she’s down to about 17 paragraph. She seems a bit more focused in this blog than the past few head banging blogs she has done..I wonder if she’s on ritalin now or if someone else wrote this for her? It’s so funny because I read Jac’s tweets during/right after the show aired Sunday (I do not watch them anymore because I can’t take the bashing) and she sounded so contrite and sorry for what she did and I thought, “now there’s someone who sees she was wrong and feels bad” and I can respect that (because we all do stuff that we regret later on).

We are early in this (very long) season and the perception is the opposite of what we took away from the reunion. They have all exposed themselves as obsessive lowlifes. At this point, I am cheering for Teresa to expose all of their dirty secrets, not just Ms. Lookers. I’d have every trick of Jack’s from Vegas on the show. I’d throw out- with deep concern- the Manzo’s fraud, Jack’s law suits, the impending bankruptcies (you know there is more than one in the works; this is a housewives franchise after all), and every other little peccadilo I could think of. I am now eagerly awaiting the Melevolent meltdown as a cathartic release from the hypocrisy and nastiness of this pack of jackals.

Going back to season 1, Jacqueline had no problem with Danielle speaking to directly Ashlee about her behavior.. I distinctly remember a scene filmed in the Laurita home where Danielle called Ashley out on her behavior in front of her mother. . At the table flipping dinner Jacqueline and Chris defended Danielle against their own family. Season 2 brought us the infamous hair pulling episode. Caroline begged Danielle not to go through with her legal action , saying that Ashlee was a young girl who should be givien a chance. Danielle did take Ashlee to court and at the reunion Jacqueline embraced Danielle and said she wished her well. Danielle has no where near the friendship and history with Jacqueline that Jacqueline and Teresa have, yet Jacqueline at one point forgave embraced and defended Danielle (until Jacqueline changed her mind, surprise,surprise).. Theresa will never see that sane forgiveness even for a second. Ashlee physically assaulted someone, yet she should be forgiven. Gia exhibits some normal 11 year old behavior given that the adults she trusted failed her and she is a devil child., So many mixed messages. Ashlee’s tweet on Sunday where she bragged that she was “shameless” is sadly true. A little self examination and guilt might do her some good.
I’d forgotten all about CJ’s birthday party and that Danielle co-parented Ashley with Jac! That was creepy — and in retrospect, very telling. It’s unlikely that we’ll ever get the back-story on the Danielle/Jac friendship, but I can wish for it.
I also find it interesting that Danielle’s daughters had the same aversion to Caroline that Gia had after Caroline did NOT reprimand the poor kid! (Sarcasm — just quoting Caroline.)
Say what you will about Danielle, her girls were nice, smart, respectful kids. Yeah, we might one day see a Mommy Dearest book from one of the Staub girls, but I have a feeling that next year Ashlee will still be living in Gma’s spare bedroom and Christine will be going off to Harvard. Just saying!

Anyways, I had to comment on the whole Gia thing. She’s a kid, she’s been exposed to too much, Jaq and FattyMickFattyCaro were WAY out of line, as usual. Glad , Jaq admitted that, but why did she have to comment on the dunk tank???That was so telling. Feel bad for Ash? Yeah, to a point.But, she’s kind of a douche all on her own now. You can only blame the parents for so much. Feel bad for Lauren more though. I don’t care if you joke about it or laugh at the jokes being told about how fat you are….It still hurts. I lost weight too, and the jokes the family told at BBQs about the jokes they USED to tell….Help me baby jesus. And Lucky Lauren will have all this on a Bravo DVD, Glad she lost the weight but, the struggle is keeping it off and you CAN’T when your self esteem is ALWAYS knocked down(which seems to be the case). Maybe someday, she will be a size negative 2, but, I bet The Manzo fuckzoid brothers will whip out the RH DVD and remind her how useless she was…and Greggy and Momma will laugh. Even when I liked Jac, I always felt bad for Ashlee. Yeah, she may be a bit of a brat, but she obviously really wants to be accepted by the Manzos, her mother is way overdramatic and holds up every little screw-up to a TV audience to gain sympathy, she gets mad at her husband if he doesn’t treat his stepdaughter like the red headed step-child, their whole dynamic is just very messed up. Ashlee’s behavior doesn’t seem bad enough to justify all the extreme reactions from Jac and the Manzos and it’s got to be hard to come into a family that holds her to different standards. I kind of think she and Lauren both try to pick fights with their families’ “enemies” because they’re both desperately seeking approval.
Yeah, didn’t Ashlee say that she doesn’t really feel that close to Chris or something? But Jacqueline is always whining about how she’s jealous of their relationship and she does get upset when he’s being nice to Ashlee. A normal person would want her daughter to have someone to turn to for support, but it seems like she tries to undermine their relationship out of jealousy, selfishness, and immaturity. It is messed up.
I always thought there was something “OFF” with Asslee and Chris’s ‘relationship’.

When Jac said on twitter that she was so surprised that 73% thought she and Caro were right to do what they did to Gia it was no surprise to me because only her followers would be watching the show. Should have been closer to 95%! But she’ll grab onto anything that justifies her behavior, just like her saying all these people on twitter were telling her she was right – when so many weren’t – she just blocks them after they tell her (even when they are mature about it) or ignores anything that doesn’t fit her fantasy world.
I’ve noticed that. I guess they don’t want the real “pulse” of what their viewers are thinking and will do whatever they want ($$$). I’m really getting over bravo. I need a new hobby!

I couldn’t even finish reading Jac’s blog and it’s a shame because I used to like her a lot. To be honest, I can’t even watch this season. I watched the first 5 minutes of the first episode and shut it off…haven’t watched since then. New Jersey used to be my favorite, but I can’t stomach the Jr. High behavior and Sr. High bullying behavior.
Pretty sure we have all “read between the lines” and all now realize why Ashley/ee acts like a brat and where she gets it from. I didn’t hear Teresa or anyone else comment on how rude, disrespectful and obnoxious Ashley/ee was the past few season…so why should anyone comment on Teresa’s child who is 10 years old. For crying out loud…regardless of who is right or wrong, they are acting like spoiled brats and GIa is by far the most mature one out of the entire cast.

Did everyone fail to read Teresa’s blog? She hadn’t gotten Joey’s text yet at the time that she spoke to Jacqueline which is why she didn’t say anything about it.
Jacqueline is just as much of a hypocrite as her boss, Caroline. In the same breath she claims to be hurt and offended by Teresa’s one comment about Ashley. And then she goes on to make comment after comment after comment about the Giudice girls and Teresa’s parenting skills.
This blog is so filled with hate it actually made me sad and feel dirty reading it. And then at the end she claims to have all this positivity coming into her life. That is an insult to people who actually DO have positive things in their lives.
I really think I’m done with this show. It’s a complete disgrace. Caroline, Jacqueline and Melissa are shameful human beings and the fact that they are being showcased and celebrated on a TV show and that they justify their actions each week fills me with sadness. Teresa needs to get OFF this show and OFF this network. She should sever her ties with that poor excuse for a brother and his snake of a wife and move on with what is left of her family and go life her happy life without them.
I think Bravo should let the Guidice/Gorga Familys go and bring in Kim G & Danielle Staub back to battle the Manzo Clan in an Epic round5 ! And then maybe end the show in a big explosion or something..

She gave me the creeps too, Margie – I think she is a genuinely troubled woman. HOWEVER, even a broken clock is right twice a day, and she was dead on about a lot of things – like Caroline being the “Puppeteer” and in general a gargantuan hypocrite and specifically about her own personal life and family background. Do I want to see return as a housewife? NO, but I sure wouldn’t mind seeing her on the Season 4 reunion for a segment or two! One thing is clear, Melissa fed her information and she really needs to be called out for that.
I agree that Melissa was doing something sketchy with Danielle. How sad would it be to have that type of person in your family? and hurtful.
I wonder how many negative comments Drunkqueline’s blog is getting. I commented on it yesterday. Bravo never published it, of course. We know how they love to screen comments. I noticed that when I attempted to comment yesterday, there were 81 comments on her blog. I just checked and there are still only 81 comments. Is someone at Bravo not on their job or is the response to her blog so harsh that they aren’t allowing most comments through? Just curious.

How can anyone possibly condone the following?
Last season, Teresa coached Gia to 1) tell Jaq that “Melissa controls Joey,” 2) tell Joey that she missed a jump at the gym meet because of his not being there (Lie – Gia didn’t even look up, she missed the jump because her loud-mouthed mother shrieked “GO GIA!!!” so loudly that she threw the kid off), 3) sing a ridiculously inappropriate song ON TV about how her uncle had broken her heart, and 4) make a huge show about Joe and Melissa leaving early on Christmas to the point where Joey had to practically pry her off him.
And that’s just LAST season.
The fact is that for the past two years, Teresa has not allowed Gia onscreen once unless she’d been coached in advance as to what to do and what to say. Listen to some of the inane dialogue that Teresa writes for her children’s scenes: it’s as vapid and cheesy and just plain dumb as she is.
This year Gia’s being coached on how to be a substitute wife to Teresa’s husband. Gia cooks, cleans, takes care of her sisters, and even gets into screaming matches with her father when she thinks he’s been cheating.
And now Teresa is exploiting Gia’s puberty for money and fame, all in an attempt to gratify her own ego.
The thing I feel sorriest for as far as Gia’s concerned is that she (and all of her sisters) are smarter than both of her parents combined and KNOWS this. It’s going to be a hard lesson for Gia to learn that the rest of the rest of the adult world isn’t quite so ignorant.

You are stating your point of view. These are not facts. They are subjective.
1) Gia is coached on Mel controlling Joey. Making statements in a family about why you think your brother is not as responsive to his sister, his parents and his nieces and saying it is Melissa false or Melissa has something to do with it is not coaching. Coaching is when you take someone and say, “You must say XYZ even if you do not believe it.” That we do not know, if it ever happened. We do know that Gia hears and watches the show. Gia draws her own conclusions. Also, Gia has known Melissa for many years and could have drawn her own conclusion on what she thinks of Mel. We have no direct evidence to support your statement.
2) Missed a jump at a meet was said by Teresa. It was in reference to Gia expecting Joey to be there. Joey told Gia he would be there. Joey is her uncle and godfather. He needs to take responsibility if he promises to appear and then doesn’t. It can affect a child adversely. Is it the reason she missed the jump? No. Was Teresa placing on the guilt? Yes. Was it a huge deal? ABSOLUTELY NOT. It was said in passing and glossed over. It was not on Melissa’s lovely iPhone list at the Reunion.
Your claim discarded because it doesn’t show anything other than slight guilt, which is normal in families. We could say how disgusting was Joey and Melissa at Teresa book signing and how rude he was when he came in if we want to go scene by scene.
3) The song. It was Milania’s B-Day. The song was how Gia felt. I thought it was good that she expressed herself. The song/poem whatever you want was to express her feelings of hurt and pain at the fighting going on in her family. I thought it was beautiful. I thnk it actually made Mel and Joey think they need to get past these issues. It was a good starting ground for future growth as a family.Discard for lack of support towards your argument.
4) The Christmas Eve issues would be a big deal if my brother always came to my house every year and this year he didn’t stay. It is not only breaking with my tradition, but also breaking a tradition instilled by the parents. I would feel hurt. I would want him to stay. I think Kathy wouldn’t have cared for him to stay. I do believe that Kathy wanted some screen time because Bravo would not have filmed anything at Kathy’s without the Gorgas and drama ensuing. I believe Teresa had a right to voice her dislike of Joey breaking with tradition.
This would actually undermine your argument because traditions are family oriented issues. Lack of adhering to family traditions would be negative and negate your argument.
