It looks like RHOA’S Nene Leakes, may not be as rich as she’s claiming to be. Despite rumors of being one of the highest paid housewives, Glee, I Dream of Nene, and other side business ventures, Nene still managed to get herself into a financial mess with Uncle Sam.
Hip Hop Daily Press is reporting that the state of California slammed Ms. Lennethia with a $25,212 tax lien on her and her pizza franchise, Famous Famiglia. The lien was recorded in July. The site is also reporting, that Gregg Leakes owes over $130,000 to the state of Georgia!

For Nene, that amount of money should be chump change considering the cost of the shoes and handbags she carries around. I don’t know if Gregg works anymore, but starting off a new marriage (a million dollar one at that) with an old debt does not sound like the best plan. I wonder what she’s going to say about this since she has always been very vocal and not so nice about her fellow cast mates’ financial problems, such as Sheree Whitfield and Kim Zolciak. Tell me: Are you surprised Nene is having money trouble?
