Heather Talks Sonja’s Brand And Puts Ramona On Blast; Insist She’s A Hypocrite!
Newest housewife Heather Thomson took to her blog to discuss Sonja being late for her shoot and puts crazy Ramona Singer on blast insisting that she is in fact a hypocrite and does things she claims she hates that people do!
“I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my work, and I care deeply about giving my all to anyone or any project that I am associated with. I took Sonja’s branding project very seriously, and I put together a dream team of talented and passionate experts, all of whom volunteered to help Sonja. She was not paying any of us for our services. There was no barter system for our time and efforts, yet here comes Sonja rolling into the shoot over an hour late! At this juncture I am not surprised, but now I am really getting annoyed. Not only did she not have the decency to acknowledge the people that I had gathered to work on this project, but when she did get there she showed no sense of urgency to get into hair and makeup so we could start. Then her “lady problems” delayed us further, and did we really need to hear the graphic details? Sonja, spare us, puh-leeze! I was pushing to get the first shot, because I know from experience that once you get that first shot off and get rolling the magic begins.
I feel like I care more about Sonja’s brand than she does. A good friend once told me that if you want to get something done quickly, you give it to someone who is busy, because busy people don’t have any time to waste so they do it as fast as possible to get it off their plate. I am a busy girl with my own company to run. I want to help Sonja, but I can’t waste my time, and she needs to acknowledge and respect that. Again the word entitlement seems fitting. Oy!
Now that I have that off my chest, I will say that Sonja was AMAZING in front of the camera. She totally turned it on and looked fabulous, and in that regard she made our task easy. I am happy with what we created for her especially under the circumstances. Sonja’s set up on the table is exactly what she wanted and it’s a wrap! The shoot is complete and I am ready to present two set up options for her to choose for her campaign. As long as she loves one after editing and retouching, I will proudly have delivered on my word.??I was happy to attend Ramona’s red wine launch event, because I knew it would give me a chance to see all of the girls. I had been getting along a little better with Ramona, and it was good to have been asked to come out and support her. As soon as I walk in the door I see Sonja and I really wanted to congratulate her on the images we captured and to let her know I still support her toaster oven idea. Like I said directly to her, I had my vision for the shoot, based on all that she had shared with me and the Sonja I know and adore, but in the end Sonja needs to choose what makes her happiest and what she wants representing her brand.
Like all of you watching the show, I now realize there was a conversation between Ramona and Sonja about my steamrolling her on the set and the fact that we didn’t want Ramona there. Well, mea culpa. It is true…sort of. I did push my idea for Sonja, but let’s be totally honest…those toaster ovens that she is saying suddenly need urgent branding (Which is crazy, because I wouldn’t recommend buying production inventory until you have shown a customer and received an order!) would still be sitting in a warehouse somewhere without any branding if someone didn’t push it. I was fighting FOR Sonja not against her. James was the one who asked that Sonja not invite anyone on set, and I happened to concur. So, I can take the criticism, but I am NOT a liar and for Ramona to accuse me of that really floored me. Now that you have seen both sides, what do think? I can tell you I have learned this: 1. Sonja talks out of both sides of her mouth. She tells you the version that you want to hear and not necessarily the whole story. And 2. Ramona only listens to half of any story — the half that she believes — then she walks away. She is operating in a bubble of partial information that fits into her paradigm. What is it with these women?!
On to the holiday party. Sonja invited us to Janna Bullock’s fabulous home. Wow, can that Carole dress up! She truly looked like a princess that evening. That was pretty much the highlight for me, because everything quickly went downhill from there. Why did Aviva (girl, I love you, but…) have to bring up that wine tasting event with Ramona again? Is it just me or are these girls running in circles? I just could not let Ramona and Aviva trash talk Jacques without at least addressing it with Aviva directly. The others didn’t surprise me, but what’s going on with Aviva? I mean, that they started in on him before the front door was even closed? Come on! A fake French accent? He is French-Moroccan and was anyone there an expert on regional accents? Ramona says she really hates the thought of people talking behind her back (even when they are not!), but she has no problem doing it or worse (making fun of people) behind theirs. But like I said, Ramona hears only what works for her then flees the conversation before anyone has a chance to finish a story and perhaps prove her wrong. And yes, I did call her crazy. I could have said worse. I was reacting to her antics and out of a sense of loyalty to Lu and Jacques. You have to admit, it’s not too far off the mark at certain moments.”
Heather makes some great points that I too agree on. Ramona is being a hypocrite. Ramona acts like a nut. Aviva shouldn’t have brought up the wine thing AGAIN especially because it had NOTHING to do with her and these ladies are all going crazy! Sonja wasn’t appreciative but hopefully after she watches she can see that Heather was really invested and determined to make her brand a hit. Team Ramona or Team Heather? Who’s in the wrong?

Ramona and Sonja and are “Dumb and Dumber.” I don’t know how any same person can spend more then 2 minutes with Ramona. Sonja craves the camera and spotlight; she is also a nut job.

without Ramona this season, I dont think RHONY would even be a consideration for me to watch. Not because I like her, but her legit craziness is what keeps the drama going on the show. However, I am team Heather. Ramona is really living in another world and needs to be put on blast at the reunion.

This season Ramona and Sonja have completely lost their minds – I used to support them but they are crazy – I think they are playing to the camera. I love Carole and Heather and Avia they are great women – LuAnn is a phoney and so annoying please dont have another baby do the world a favor!!!

Team Heather. I liked your honesty with Ramona from the start. Ramona believes she is the only person allowed to be “honest” out loud? I love Heather’s willingness to help others even if they are treating her like the busboy. I really think Sonja need to be more appreciative of Heather’s friendship and the fact that she did all of this for FREE. Who gives their services for free? Ramona only gives her opinion, but didn’t offer anything else…
hmmm, so Sonja was wrong, Ramona was wrong, Aviva was wrong, but Heather was perfection? LMAO!
Once you offer to do something for someone for free, you really can’t complain about it! Should Sonja have not gotten what she wanted because she wasn’t paying..? What’s the point of that? Sonja didn’t feel that Heather and her “dream team” were HEARING her and what SHE wanted for her brand. I bet Sonja was thanking her lucky stars that she wasn’t paying! Who’s to say which idea will sell best? As Heather says, in the end, it’s up to SONJA. So why didn’t Heather listen to Sonja in the first place?
I want to like Heather, but she keeps behaving like a bitchy, bossy big mouth. Ramona is full on ca-RAZY this season, but I think she was feeling the pressure to hold her spot as an alpha. I think (hope) she’ll calm down. Aviva is annoying. Pretending to rise above it all, while she’s furiously stirring the pot. Carole I LOVE. The Countess is curiously irrelevant this season. Thank God
i like heather but the way she’s been acting with sonja is rude and she is bossy. if it isn’t her way then she claims because the other person isn’t appreciative. her trying to defend jac was annoying as hell. nobody likes him and he and luann are always rude to ramona so i didn’t mind they were ragging on his accent. heather finally revealed why she was upset because her loyalty is with luann not because they were talking about their backs because she does it too. if she wasn’t friends with them she would be joining in on the insults as well.
ramona is crazy as usual but what is anyone gonna do. she’s never gonna change and makes the show entertainable. she easily gets her feelings hurt and just likes to argue. i also think she has a valid reason to be angry about not being able to go to photo shoot. heather did lie. she claimed she never told sonja to not invite her but she did. she just used her friend james to do her evil work and she agreed. if she wants to talk about honesty then she needs to be up front about it and not hide behind her cohort james.
aviva can comment about any subject as she wants. she always thought what luann and jac did to ramona was rude and finally had her chance to tell them. someone else besides mario and ramona needed to tell those jerks what they did was wrong.
as for sonja i think she is getting beat up by heather and ramona. ramona on one side is her best friend and heather is her friend helping her with her business. so if she’s talks on “both sides of her mouth” is because she is trying to stay out of the drama that is between heather and ramona. she’s obviously a people pleaser and sometimes that can backfire.
Heather lost me when she invited everyone but Ramona on the London trip, then told everyone but Ramona that she did it because she doesn’t enjoy Ramona. Fine if that’s your reason-as long as you realize you’re being horribly rude-but at least tell Ramona what everyone else knows!

my sentiments also, cammi. So tired of hearing “I wasn’t being paid” and “this wasn’t a bartering system”… the barter system is based on each party benefitting and Heather got thousands of dollars of FREE publicity for her business and her friend’s. Unfortunately, they were so rude and condescending I doubt it was that beneficial for them. I loved when she was complaining behind the backs of those she was criticizing for talking behind others’ backs – what a hypocrite. I am not a Heather fan, but Sonja has gone off the deep end I fear, and Ramona is totally out of control and lacking in social graces, and LuAnn makes me grind my teeth, Aviva is starting to annoy me, but Carole makes me laugh w/ her creative recaps/comments. Oh, yeah, and Jill and Kelly are GONE!!! That is the best part of RHWNYC.
Camm, I was waiting for you, lol! I agree with the Heather/Sonja situation. I think Heather was unprofessional and trying to put herself out there too much the wrong way, behaving like a diva(?).. Im getting a little disappointed with Ramona as the season goes on. She usually makes me laugh. I agree with the thought of feeling the pressure, and I think behind the scenes she knows that Jill is still trying to sabotage her with some of the new peeps and LuMann! Aviva is so wishy washy, like Kathy Wakile but more quick about it on camera! I totally love Carole so far!

I agree. Seems like nobody can even carry on a conversation without somebody making a dig. It’s so frustrating sometimes. I wonder how they watch the show and then go on and on in their blogs to explain why they acted so horribly. Seriously? Doesn’t anyone watch and think “Wow. That was horrible of me.”? Guess not.
I agree totally with you. No one owns up to their own mistakes anymore. It is hard to say I screwed up but it makes you a better person in the end.
A lot of my friends watch the show and not one of them likes Heather. We were put off her by her own rudeness in being new on the show and deliberately not inviting Ramona to London. Even after she knew it hurt Ramona, she didn’t invite her. That to me was a terrible way to introduce yourself on the show where she’s new and viewers are trying to figure her out. The more I’ve seen of her, the less I like her.
Ramona may be outspoken and put her foot in her mouth but she’s harmless. She’s up for fun and entertaining. Heather is a dullard.
Sonja didn’t do anything wrong in my opinion and if Heather didn’t want the free air time on TV to show off her company, then she shouldn’t of offered to help Sonja for free as she keeps telling us. Again very tacky of Heather to do that.

Hey Sofia! About the Miami trip, in re to the pool- I read the blogs after that episode and found it may be true that Aviva had voiced her own concerns about the leg and swimming , then acted like she was put off with Ramona caring about it! I noticed that frequently with Aviva. She always says one thing then turns it into something else.. look at her playing all sides so far! I still do enjoy Ramona and I feel they are somewhat, not wholly, playing her up to be the constant bad guy this season. Maybe Im wrong?
Michers, I forgot about the pool…I was talking about her leaving the table, telling staff what to serve next in Aviva’s house, acting like a middle school girl when she was with in the bathroom with Sonja, and Aviva was asking them to come out. I would never act like that in someone’s house, not sure why it’s OK for Ramona to do it?

To tell you the truth, I used like her a lot, when she was fighting with Jill LOL, I think Rmona has a good heart, she is not evil like Caroline Manzo….BUT OMG am I getting tired of her this season!

Team heather!!! Ramona is a total basket case. I am still scratching my head as to how she can be successful in a job when she clearly is a nut. Sonja I can’t stand her. She is a basket case as well and two faced just like ramona. If I were heather I would of dropped sonja and called her out right there at the meeting that they had. Sonja was so rude to invite ramona in the first place. Heather is doing her a favor and she obviously was looking to heather to do the branding. I don’t get it. I don’t like Heather at all. There’s not one thing I can say in her favor and think she was the worst addition to the cast. My hope is that she’ll be gone next season.
