Newest RHOC star Heather Dubrow got a little fiesty in her latest Bravo blog. Heather calls Alexis out and even makes a dig at how many procedures she has had done! Heather says,
“There’s a lot I can say about the party, but to me the big deal was about. . .ALEXIS!
So, you met me at Vicki’s party, we talked for two minutes, I invite you to the painting party and you are ALL OVER ME?!? You want to play with the big girls? Game on. . .
First of all Vicki said “there was no good restaurants in the O.C.” Why are you ragging on me and not her? There are some lovely places here, but not as many as L.A., and certainly not like NYC. This is my opinion. Lay off.
Sex shop talk. . .I was not comfortable with this conversation. I barely knew these girls and they were talking about oral sex!!! I made a joke (“I’m married and I don’t have to do this anymore.”) in the hopes of shutting down the conversation, and Alexis jumps down my throat . Trust me dear, I will be married in 10 years. I just don’t think it’s appropriate to discuss sex with strangers, especially at a party!
Then while painting, you ask me what my special gifts are, I answered the question (acting, singing, etc.), then you take me to task for it??? If you don’t want to know, don’t ask! Terry walks in, and as usual, the talk turns to surgery. Yes Alexis, we know you don’t need the knowledge of plastic surgery, you have had enough procedures to know what he’s talking about.
Finally when Terry was making jokes about weddings and our marriage, I walked out of the room to shut it down. I didn’t guzzle a drink, I had the last sip of champagne in my glass, told Brian that Terry had gone cuckoo, then I came back and tried to regroup. I didn’t want to fight in front of new friends. That doesnt make me an actress, Alexis, it makes me an appropriate party hostess!
Bottom line: You just met me, lay off. If you have a real issue with me, then we can talk.
Well, one more thing. . .Terry is not off the hook for his behavior. He was doing his usual “vaudeville” routine about our marriage, weddings, etc. I was really embarrassed in front of the girls. He was meeting everyone for the first time! He thinks he is being funny, and it went too far. My feelings were hurt. We discussed it later and he understands how I feel about jokes at my expense. I’m sensitive! He apologized, and, of course, I forgive him. He’s a great guy and I love him dearly, but it’s always good to work on your marriage and be open and honest with each other.”
Not too sure why Heather would get so upset with her husband making an innocent joke. If she did get so upset, I think it’s because shes trying to hard and doesn’t want the girls to see how her husband really acts and instead wants them to see Mr. plastic surgeon! I don’t know if I’m feeling Heather. Alexis was annoying in yesterday’s episode..really annoying and is clearly insecure but Heather thinks way too much of herself and it’s a bit obvious. She’s that kind of person who has to point out the things she has and I’m just not a fan of those types and tries to portray her family into something it probably isn’t. Thoughts?
Heather doesn’t belong in rhooc. She belongs in rhobh. Shes too proper for the show or atleast acts like it

This is just regular banter between husband and wife. Been with my hubby for 6 years and trust me couples make digs at each other. Otherwise you are not human.lol
I like Heather. And I’m sure she didn’t appreciate her husband making jokes at her expense to a room full of strangers. I know I wouldn’t be too thrilled if my husband/boyfriend did that. I actually agree with Heather that what you do in the bedroom shouldn’t be talked about at a party you’re having for women you’ve only just met and hung out with once.
Alexis is just annoying. She’s clearly insecure and has some sort of jealousy toward Heather for no reason at all.
Wondering if you might consider changing the font for excerpts and your own writing. It’s always a bit confusing when you go to the next paragraph and realize you’re not reading the excerpt anymore! Just a thought…

Hmmm….I’m still not sure about Heather. I’m trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but she seems pretty phony. The whole pretense of her not knowing any of the background of the cast, etc. I just don’t believe it. I mean, my mother in law might not know who Gretchin or Slade or Vicky is, but then again, my mother in law doesn’t live in the OC or claim to be an actress. She’s in the business and acts like she doesn’t know the show or its history? Then she joins the show and doesn’t watch the old seasons? Or even go to the website and research it? There is something off about her.

I just don’t think she’d expose her family to a reality show if she hadn’t seen it, read about it, and done her due diligence. She’s in show business and a grown up, with a husband that depends on an esteemed reputation to facilitate his career. It wouldn’t make any sense for her to suddenly start behaving like a clueless, naive fame-hungry rookie. What if it had been Love and Hip Hop? lol
And since she’s an ‘actress’ she should know about researching a project. I hate it when these shows treat the audience like we’re clueless.
I don’t think Heather is lying about watching the Real Housewives. I think what happened is Heather was looking to sell her house and buy property, she called an agency and they sent Tamra. I think when Tamra saw Heather’s house, she knew Bravo needed someone to replace Peggy and Tamra approached Heather about joining the Real Housewives. Heather probably asked what the heck is Real Housewives? It’s no doubt that the property scene between Tamra and Heather was a way to introduce viewers to Heather. I don’t believe it was intended to deceive viewers. The scene is over, it didn’t last long and we know who Heather is now. So, it worked. I really do believe that Heather was clueless about the Real Housewives. Also, Heather is an actress. My parents (God time goes so fast) watched a show titled, “That’s Life” which Heather was the star. It was a nice clean show. Also, Heather starred in another show which had several celebrities playing alongside Heather.
I do think that once Tamra approached the idea to Heather to do the Real Housewives, of course Heather did her research. I think Heather meant that she had never heard of the RH until Tamra came along. Heather did say she agreed to do the show to promote her husband. She did do just that and it’s only the second episode. Good for Heather. It’s obvious she does do what she says.

She said they had wanted her for a few years but she declined. She was shopping around a reality show with her BFF about opening a restaurant and when she got nothing but passes the production company asked her to reconsider the RHOC. They promised they would highlight a few of her ventures. She accepted.
The whole Tamra thing is a farce. They had to explain it some way on the show. But Heather already spilled the beans- that part is scripted. Stinks, huh???
I’m luvin’ the fact that she doesn’t hesitate to take on Alexis, the oh so righteous one, & doesn’t back down to anyone……… In that same respect, Heather reminds me of Brandi who also doesn’t hesitate to take Kyle on nor does she ever back down from Kyle……… Kinda’ nice to see these two newbies from different franchises ‘meet their match’…….

All I’m saying is that Brandi doesn’t hold back when it comes to putting someone in their place either……… Not comparing the two on any other level with the exeption of not being afraid to speak their minds & any cost…….. I like Heather; she is much classier than any of the other ladies. Tamra needs a filter on her mouth, she is trashy; Alexis is a moron, Vicki acts like she is still in high school. Gretchen is okay.
I agree with you. I think Heather is extra sensitive because shes concerned with how she will come off to viewers. If she loosens up , and like Gretchen says.. “pulls the stick out of her ass” i think she will be a fan favorite just for standing against Alexis bullshit. Bloop Bloop!
About time they got a lady on the show with real class. Nice to see for a change.

She use to be my favorite, and i guess she still is. I use to think she was so beautiful but then someone pointed out her horsey teeth and now thats ALL i see when i look at her.. a horse face! UGH
I can honestly understand Heather having her feelings hurt when her husband used her to make others laugh. All At Her Expense. My own husband has done this (as a matter of fact, he still does this at times) and it does hurt. It also makes me mad and whenever I mentioned it to him, he gives this stupid puppy dog look (slanted head, wide eyes and clueless) as if he doesn’t understand what had taken place. I don’t know if I should swipe a glove across my husband’s face with a slight feeling of a slap, or slap myself in the face? lol. Alexis is clearly jealous of Heather and something tells me Alexis’ husband is eyeing up Heather and Terry’s bank account. There is something very off with Alexis and Jim and It’s very uncomfortable. I think they are cons like Russell Armstrong but not nearly as intelligent. I like Heather so far and like me, she’s from the east side of the U.S. Eastern citizens take no crap from others. Mess with Heather, she’ll give it right back and then some.
People who can’t laugh at themselves, or have a sense of humor, usually have rather large egos and consequently take themselves way too seriously. Not an admirable trait in my book…

I like heather. Being a dark haired girl myself I tend to feel thier pain in a sea of blonds. I also like that she embrases her jewish religion and new york flair its kind of refreshing in the OC. I think all Heather was asking for was respect. She has shown the other ladies respect and showed them a good time at a very cool party and i think i would feel the same way. People are so rude now a days and they all had every oportunity to get to know Heather but all they did was disect her every word.
I thought the painting Idea was fabulous and original. I can’t say I would like Timlees (I probably got that name wrong) but it’s proper for the amateur artist. The women did extremely well on their new learned skill. I have to compliment them all as they all did very well for their first time. I’m going to steal Heather’s good idea, and have my own artist party. lol. I’ll do it at my house and I’ll teach a few of my friends. Why didn’t I ever think of that? lol

Heather has her own jokey routine about her husband! And it’s a lot snarkier and cuts deeper than anything he has said. She’s being unbelievably unreasonable and I imagine she’s a nightmare to live with. She defines ‘shrill’.

Oh please Heather is just another housewife with a PR crew feeding her lines and believing (seriously do they?) That the viewers are stupid. I do not believe for a second that RH approached Heather to do the show. Other than a beautiful foyer there is not much appealing with her. She auditioned and begged like all the HW who came before her. She’s a liar who I’m starting to believe is about as real as Melissa Gorga. What do we care if ur husband is a plastic surgeon? As a Jewish girl myself I can honestly say she is a phony, Baking challa bread on Yom Kippur the holiest day of the year that’s meant to spend “fasting” and reflecting. Sorry this woman is not who she claims to be. I only hope her husbands runs while he still can. She is a bitch. 100% bona fide. Honestly I’m very suprised our darling Andy didn’t veto Heather. He seems to like the over the top and flashy HW’s. Although after witnessing him fawning over the lamest/fakest HW ever_Melissa Gorga I’m convinced his taste is more white trash than anything else. I’m currently engaged in a one woman boycott of him. Love Gretchen this season. Honestly, hated her last season. She seems so much more relaxed and genuine than ever. Maybe it’s all that not apoloiogizing for being her business.
I know I will be in the minority here – but I was always a Teresa fan and found my self if the minority there at times. Glad Teresa is back on top. But, I’m kind of liking Alexis this season. I give her credit – she had a bad first marriage and I believe she is really trying to make this one work. I think this season she is more comfortable with herself, I think she was trying too hard the past two seasons. and came off a little too wacky, which I thought myself. Can’t put my finger on it, butr I am linking her this season, and wishing her the best. You can tell she loves her kids, and she’s always defended her husband while everyone was bashing him. That had to be pretty tough to go through. Vicki is Vicki, and she should feel like an ass for treating Slade the way she did, and now her boyfriend apparently is in the same boat. Tarma does not deserve Gretchen’s forgiviness. She bashed her the past couple of seasons and said and did some very hurtful things. We all know that story. All in all, I’m just passing the time waiting for NJ. I am a Guidice family fan, cannot stand Melissa one bit, I lost all respect for Joe Marco – he should be ashamed of himself. As far as the Manzos, the only ones who don’t bother me are Albert and Christopher. Albie thinks he is JFK Jr., Caroline = miss know it all, and her daughter Lauren is right behind her. Jacqueline turned out to be a nutcase, and Kathy should not have stepped into her cousin’s gig. I can go on and on – but we all know the story!! No matter who we all like and dislike, I am glad we have these women who entertain us, and I love watching them make jerks of themselves on national t.v.!!!!!
I for one like Alexis. I think she’s the prettiest of any of the women on this show. She may have had a lot of procedures done, but they turned out beautifully. What an ignorant, snotty comment for a plastic surgeon’s wife to make. I doubt that she and her family would live in such a fancy mansion complete with an elevator if it weren’t for people like Alexis who have plastic surgeries in the first place.

Heather is a stuck up bitch and doesn’t have a humble bone in her over grown body. She must not have come from much in New York to be trying sooo hard to act like she’s some royal princess in Cali. I’m not buying it and after only 2 eps it’s already getting old. As for Alexis…looks fade, DUMB IS FOREVER.

I personally don’t care for Heather at all. I think she’s a snob trying to put on airs by being difficult, sending food back when eating out with her husband. How much of a gourmand is she anyway when she sits there and talks about how she “cooks” for her family by ordering take-out or heating up a can of soup? Then has the nerve to say that there aren’t any decent restaurants in OC? How would someone whose happy to eat Campbell’s soup for dinner know the difference anyway? Plus they live in a huge mansion (that looks more like a Days Inn) complete with an elevator? Where’s their personal chef if they live on “billionaire’s row?”
