Gretchen Rossi Slams Engagement Rumors, PLUS, Did Slade Call Joe Giudice a “Douchebag”?
Another day, another rumor in the world of Real Housewives. This time, Gretchen Rossi is shooting down claims that she told Tom Murro she is engaged to Slade Smiley!
Tom Murro reported some gossip from Gretchen’s Fashion Week party in NYC earlier this week. Murro claimed that Gretchen said she was doing well with Slade, “but engaged.” Gretchen even said “I don’t need anything like that, just him,” when asked about an engagement ring!
Gretchen took to her Twitter to shoot down the rumors! When asked by fans if the story was true, Gretchen replied:
“Nope! Not as of today!” Gretchen continued clearing up the air and tweeted, “Apparently there was a mis-understanding!”
Also part of Tom Murro’s claims were that when he spoke to Slade Smiley at the party, he claimed Joe Giudice was a “douchebag”. According to the story, Slade even agreed to be quoted on that! Gretchen tweeted the following response: “Where do people come up this shit?For the record none of this is true, & Slade doesn’t even know Joe from RHNJ!”
There you have it! I personally think Gretchen is right and the claims are just a big misunderstanding. Do you think Gretchen might have slipped and revealed engagement news being saved for season 8? Do you think Tom Murro is spreading rumors or do you think Slade did say that about Juicy Joe and Gretchen is just doing some damage control?

I’m so over Gretchen like 2 seasons ago. I literally am sick with how selfish this woman is. Greedy woman. Grayson may not be her child but she’s supposedly rolling in the cash and yet Slade has not paid his $50 a week or whatever it is and she is SHARING a life in every aspect with Slade. They are Heidi and Spencer of the adult world. It’s pathetic. I will never ever support anything she does. I also will not watch RHOOC until they dump this joke of a woman. I can’t for the life of me see how she is attractive to anyone…her body is average/generic and omg that face is bordering on cat woman and not the super hero but the plastic one in NYC. Laurie Peterson was my favorite from RHOOC and it was never the same after her. She is a classic beauty and I love that she’s living the good life but honestly the show went down hill after the original cast eventually left. Season 1 was so authentic. Gretchen is so very fake.
