Gretchen Rossi Opens Up About Being Bulimic!
RHOC star Gretchen Rossi has a killer bod but it wasn’t always easy for her! Gretchen is opening up about how she struggled with bulimia and tells Celebbuzz,
“I was bulimic, and it took me a really long time to get over that. To be honest, I don’t think you ever really get over something like that. I think it’s always kind of back there haunting you, but I finally learned to be healthy and confident and secure in my own skin. It wasn’t until five years ago that I finally got to that place and stopped comparing myself to tall, skinny models… and I really learned to appreciate my own body and to be thankful that God blessed me with my proportions. My biggest accomplishment was just becoming secure in my own skin.”
Wow! I had no idea! Glad she overcame it and is in a better place!

Even in her younger pictures she always looked great. It is odd how sometimes beautiful people are so self conscience about their appearance, yet we’ll have less than perfect looking people feeling completely confident about their body. Maybe people who place a lot of importance on looks are the ones who become the most critical of their own.
SHe goes on in this interview about how she’ll treat herself to an ice cream sandwich, but then restrict her diet the next few days t make up for it. Yeah…honey, you’re still sick. And her “hottest housewives” other than herself? Taylor and Brandi. She obviously still has issues to work out, and I wish her the best with them, but she’s in denial and no kind of role model.
Is Gretchen “copying” Alexis now, with this eating disorder claim? Weird or compliment?
So eating disorders are the new storyline….hmmmm. Weird. We do not need to hear Gretchen’s twisted after school special bulimia story
Desperation. She wants to have a relevant story line to be considered for the next season. If she starts speaking out about struggles with substance abuse, maybe that would be honest.
If she is so “secure in her own skin” then why is everything about her appearance so fake?
She’s obsessed with being skinny, looking perfect and beautiful. She’ll have a hard time being pregnant and gaining weight, if she ever does decide to have a child.
I doubt she’s over her disorder. Her attitude toward Slade when he put on a few pounds was very mean and nasty. Not funny, or cute.
She’s a superficial person and very shallow. That’s why she won’t marry Slade until he’s debt free. She cares about money, more than love, more than Slade’s son because God forbid she might have to help support him as a stepchild.
She’s a disgrace.
Off topic, I apologise for my ignorance, but where has Helen Wheels gone? Haven’t seen her for a long time, even on her blog.
Sorry Gretchen is marked liar in my book, so it’s hard to take anything she says as truth. I will never look at her the same after continuously lying about her lips and hair and trying to pawn products with the lie. And the fact that she hasn’t adaquately apologized for trying to willing mislead her fans and continues to brush over it – just furthers my disdain. She use to be my favorite on the show, but now I believe everything Tamra said about her was true.
This bitch makes me want to throw up. The biggest Fraud opportunist out of the entire franchise besides her boyfriend.
