Gretchen Rossi, Alexis Bellino, And Melissa Gorga Do Bikini Shoot For US Weekly!
RHOC stars Alexis Bellino and Gretchen Rossi plus RHONJ star Melissa Gorga appeared on this week’s magazine of US weekly for their hot bodies 2012 issue!
So how do these housewives stay in shape? Gretchen tells the mag, “I know everyone says this, but it’s amazing how much my body changed in my thirties, ” says the O.C. star, 33, who lives with beau Slade Smiley, 43. Hence the 5-foot-5, 118-pounder’s constant workouts: “I’ll do lunges in my doorway or curl a lamp in my room. I want to look good!”
Melissa Gorga says, “I like a feminine body. I don’t want to be a body builder!” says the kickboxing convert, 33 (wed to Joe, 37). Looking good next to her New Jersey castmates is is just a bonus for the 5-foot-4, 116-pound mom of three. “Hey, a little friendly competition never hurt anybody,” she jokes.
Alexis Bellino reveals, “I won’t give up red wine, chocolate, or carbs!” says the O.C. star, 36 (wed to Jim, 45). So the 5-foot-7, 120-pound mom of three, who had a nose job last fall, exercises three times a week. As for more surgery? “I’m done picking myself apart. Life’s too short to spend another month recovering.”

MeHo has an ugly face! Her body isn’t sexy at all. It looks like a little boy’s body. Serriously! Her hair is gross, her face always looks devious, her surgeries, botox, lip injections, and nose job still doesn’t make her pretty. MeHo’s voice bugs me, and her fakeness matches her ugly, fake appearance. She looks very PLAIN JANE to me. Looks less than average.
Gretchen has a HOT, SEXY BODY! Her face? Not so much. Sometimes she can look really pretty and WOW, but there are many times when she doesn’t.
Alexis has a tall model figure which makes her stand out, but she still looks very average to me. Her face is pretty, but even with all the stuff she did to her face… I still don’t find her as attractive. She just doesn’t have that exotic, sexy look. Her body is nice though, but her boobs overpower her look, and if she got them removed or redo her boob job to like a B or C, she would look more better.

I actually just seen Melissa and joe in AC at the pool after dark at harrahs casino she looked shorter than 5 4 to me also very thin and Joe even looked a bit shorter than her. But thy were so cute. I think that conventionally, side by side, Melissa is the more attractive woman. But knowing their personalities and their intentions, whatever beauty Melissa has completely fades away and disappears. Teresa’s becomes amplified. Teresa has an inner light that shines in everything she does. Her positive energy radiates constantly making her truly beautiful, inside and out.
Dina also has this same quality which is no surprise that they have remained friends – like attracts like, right?
But look at their two counterparts – Melissa and Caroline. The two of them radiate nothing but hatred and negative energy. And that makes any outer beauty invisible, it cloaks it in darkness. And of course, they flock together because again, like attracts like.

Claire, me, Annabelle, is team everybody (except I’m on my last nerve w/Caroline). I was sent this blog’s link a few weeks ago & was disgusted with how immature, petty, catty, mean, etc the ppl were on here. I feel like Melissa and anyone non-Teresa need some defending. Too much hate here especially at each other. It’s very sad.
Annabelle, I hope we don’t come across as hateful. And I say “we” but I really shouldn’t be speaking on behalf of everyone. I am one of the original followers of this blog since it originated in October. The general feeling is that since the start of season three, Teresa has taken an unwarranted beating from ALL the other cast members. Nobody here thinks that she is perfect or that she is 100% innocent in anything. But the truth is that she always kept her family business private until her brother and sister-in-law came on the show and gave her no choice but to air it out publicly. And suspiciously, she was friends with Jacqueline and Caroline for YEARS prior to Melissa and Joey turning up on the show. Now all of a sudden, they have all these problems with Teresa that they never had before?
A good indicator that the problem stems from Melissa is the fact that Teresa and Dina are still friends. That is one relationship that has remained unscathed. What’s missing from that equation? Melissa.
Most of us are also enraged over the amount of hypocrisy that goes on. Everyone else gets away with the same behaviors that they crucify Teresa for. They are all allowed to say things and laugh it off as a “joke”. But Teresa jokes and they end friendships over it. The list goes on and on.
Bravo is equally as guilty of this assault on Teresa. She is clearly getting the crap edit these past two seasons. They shoot 80 hours of footage a week to give us a one hour episode and all we see of the Giudices are the WORST moments of her kids and Joe. It’s very transparent.
Again, we know that she isn’t a saint. But nobody can come up with anything she has done that makes her deserving of this attack from all sides. From her FAMILY! What exactly did she do that has launched this war against her and has Bravo at the helm?
So I hope the climate of the blog doesn’t come across as hateful. This is just one of the very very few pro-Teresa blogs that exists. Almost every other RH blog is of the Bravo mindset. We aren’t hateful, we are just angry. And getting angrier by the episode because it’s going on for so long and now Teresa’s kids are involved in the assault. When is it going to stop?

Say what u want about alexis being phony but I think she’s radiant inside and out. She may be materialistic but she has a good heart. Alexis is similar to Teresa in that her husband was crucified to the world by her supposed friends and castmates and they both stayed loyal to their men regardless. They have honor. Something most housewives now lack on Bravo. They are also both truly old school with their place in the family and seem to love it. I can totally relate to that.

Melissa is not 95 lbs. She has muscle mass and a well-developed thigh/hip/rear end on her. For comparison, I am 5’8″ and 112lbs. So clearly I am way skinnier than Melissa. She’s got far more meat on her than I do even though she is still a small girl. If she were 95 lbs she would look emaciated. The girl is well fed, believe me. 116 is about right.
I agree! I am 5’7″ and 115, and MeHo has bigger legs than me. Sometimes she looks really slim and skinny, but in some pictures or interviews… She has more meat on her. If the product is in the ad they would need permission. They didn’t need to place a named product in the ad they could have placed a fake bag they have them in prop shop. If the product was placed it is likely part of an ad campaign Pepsico is doing could be through PEP direct, WPP or Omnicom etc.
I know licensing and deals very well from legal perspective and there is no way to get that Lays bag in without permission. It could be a 360 deal they have with Bravo. It could be a 360 deal they have with NBC, but there has to be a permission given.
I don’t think Pepsi needs the Housewives. If you had that impression, then that was not my intention. However, Pepsi does 360 deals with networks and mags all the time. Mary, I agree with you 100% and I was going to post the same thing in my own comment but I’m happy to see that someone else said it. I’ll never hide the fact that I do not like Melissa based on the actions she has shown, the things she has said and done, her overall content of her character. But that is SUPPOSED to be the things that make you decide whether or not to like a person. NOT external factors like what they look like.
Making fun of someone’s appearance is as bad as making fun of their race. It’s something that a person has NO CONTROL over. Teresa has no control over her small forehead just like Melissa has no control over her large one. Neither one of them should be teased for it. No person should ever be ridiculed because of a physical characteristic. That is just cruel.
That being said, I used to think Melissa was pretty. That changed very quickly when I learned what she was about. She is a classic example of being ugly on the inside. It is evident by the negative energy that comes off of her.
By that same logic, Teresa may not be classically beautiful but her inner light shines very brightly. She radiates the beauty that comes from inside her and that makes Teresa more and more beautiful every time I look at her. She is nothing but positive and that is ALWAYS pretty

I completely agree. I’ve dieted and excercised all of my life, but never came close to looking 1/2 as good as any of those women, ever. They must stick to a really strict regimen and have a tremendous amount of dedication to maintain their figures.

Nothing Annabelle said was stupid, though. If you were reacting to stupidity, you would have said so because you said yourself “I call em as I see em”. Your response to her was “don’t talk down to me, bitch!” and “you know NOTHING about my life!”…..so I don’t see how you were reacting to any alleged stupidity. What you were reacting to was her perceived image of you which you did not like. Which says that you DO care about it.
It is very obvious that you are suffering from very low self-esteem. Your behavior on this post alone shows how low it is because every one of your comments is either tearing down the women in the picture or tearing down the women who are commenting.
People with high self esteem don’t call other people names. They don’t try and tear others down in an attempt to make themselves feel better (have you ever witnessed me engaging in name-calling?). You accused me of trying to make you feel guilty about yourself in another thread when I said nothing about guilt….YOU were the one who brought it up. Feeling unnecessary guilt is another symptom of low self-esteem.
Your constant attacks, negative comments, name-calling, abusive language…..it all indicates someone who feels like crap about herself and takes it out on others.
People who feel good about themselves don’t engage in behaviors like that, Shipp.
When you have high self-esteem, you feel positive and you don’t view people as being on different levels. But you seem to think people are either high and mighty, “goody two shoes” or dirt of the earth scum (and you put yourself in the second category with this statement “wouldn’t lower yourselves to some of our level” when you were trying to say that I think I’m better than you). Neither of these are true, Shipp. People are not above or below each other. Everyone is a human being and the only “level” we are on is the one we put ourselves on.
What you are doing is focusing on the good qualities in other women and trying to devalue them, negate them, ridicule them and destroy them. The only reason a person would do that is because she feels she lacks her own good qualities so she has to even the playing field.
You should focus less on other people and their perception of you, Shipp. Focus on yourself and what makes you amazing. You HAVE qualities that make you unique and wonderful. Focus on those instead of trying to devalue the good qualities in other people. I don’t think you realize how obvious it is what you are doing.
It is useless for you to attack me. I know who I am and you do not intimidate me or upset me. So you can throw any mean name you want at me, you can attack all you want, you can insult away. It doesn’t get under my skin and the only person who ends up looking bad is you, not me. I HAVE high self-esteem. I’ve worked hard for it and I deserve it. And so do you.
I think it is incredibly sad that the majority of the comments here are vicious criticisms of other women’s appearances. Do you all not see how horrible that is? Aren’t we better than that?
The majority of us reading this blog are women. Would we want to be having our bodies and faces ripped apart like this? Regardless of whether or not we are putting them out there. Women should be lifting each other up, not tearing each other down.
Ridiculing a person based on what they look like is as bad as ridiculing them based on their skin color. A person’s physical appearance is something they have no control over. It’s one thing to say that you don’t like so-and-so based on bad personality traits or the poor content of her character. THAT is a valid reason to not like a person.
But saying scathing things about a woman because of the size of her forehead, shape of her face, texture of her hair, width of her nose, thickness of her legs? Calling a woman horrible names as if we are in high school? Like we are mean girls trying to make each other cry?
These comments are the same things we get angry with Melissa and her sisters, Caroline and her kids, Richie, and Joey for doing. Saying cruel things, even as a joke, with the intent of being hurtful.
This is not funny and I’m surprised to see this coming from a lot of the readers here. This is very sad. Not one of us is perfect and not one of us should be judging another one’s appearance.

My name is Cara. I live on Long Island and I’m 32. I am currently unemployed – just lost my job on Wednesday. I don’t have any kids but I do have an 11 year old niece that I lives with me 4 days a week who I raise. Her name is Nadia and she is the love of my life.
I’ve been though more shit in the last six years than most people are dealt in an entire lifetime. I’ve been homeless. I’ve been to jail. I’ve been beaten within an inch of my life by the man that I thought I was going to marry. I survived a suicide attempt. I’ve been a drug addict, put myself through rehab and cleaned myself up.
That was the hardest thing I have ever had to do but was also the best thing I’ve ever done. It was in rehab that I learned to NEVER judge another person for any reason whatsoever. We all have a story. We all have reasons for the choices we make – good and bad. And nobody wants to be judged for their bad decisions. I never thought I would become a drug addict but it happened. I was in a position that I would have judged others for at one time. But sitting in a room with a dozen other drug addicts, there is no room for judgment because you ARE one of them. Humbled my ass out real quick.
When I was at my lowest of low points, I could have been judged and cast aside by those around me and I would have died. Or I could have been shown compassion and lived. Luckily, I was shown compassion in my worst time of need. I was given a chance.
Since then, I learned that EVERYONE is worth a second chance. Everyone deserves to be shown compassion. Everyone has a story to tell, even if you don’t like their actions. Nobody deserves to be judged.
So…to refute your assertion: No. I do not ever look down on others because I know that nobody is above or below anyone else. We are all human and we all make mistakes. I have been to hell and back and so there is no room in my life for being pompous or high and mighty. There are far more important things – like celebrating the people I love, looking for the beauty in the little things, appreciating what I have because there was a time when I had nothing, enjoying every moment I can because I know how close I came to cutting my time short.
I am no phony, Shipp. I treat others with respect, the same way I want them to treat me. “Goody two shoes”? Fine. Name-calling doesn’t hurt me in the slightest. And as you can imagine, I’ve been called far worse by people with the ability to hurt me much more than someone on a blog that I don’t even know.
I’m sorry if I make you want to puke. My intentions in this world only come from a place of love. If love makes you want to vomit, then I don’t know what can help you.
