Evelyn Lozada Files For Divorce After 6 Weeks Of Marriage!
Move over Kim Kardashian, looks like Evelyn Lozada has beat you on the divorce train. Only a month together, Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada has filed for divorce from hubby Chad Johnson.
Evelyn filed legal documents claiming her marriage is “irretrievably broken.”
Such a hard time for Evelyn especially since her brother-in-law who was featured on a few episodes of Basketball Wives and walked her down the isle passed away today! So Evelyn gets a head-butt, her husband gets dropped off the team, Show gets cancelled only weeks before the premiere date, brother-in-law passes, find out she was cheated on throughout her relationship with Chad and now she files for divorce! Anyone shocked?

I’m not shocked the divorcee is happening.. .I am that it’s happening so soon… all this at once, I feel bad for her
I am shocked. She knows he is going broke. No team, no show. That is several million, not to mention the endorsement deals that would have come with being on national TV weekly and still a player in the NFL. Even benchers get local endorsements. Chad has over 3 Mil followers, he would have gotten a nice ver million from endorsement deals just because of his tweets and twetter fan base. Several million down the drain over a stupid mistake. Eve, still has other ventures, book deals, make up line, te shirts, BB Wives, club apperances, ect. Chad is the Biggest Looser in this broken deal. Can anyone imagine what Eve would do if she could get her hands on the women Chad had an affair with??? Exactly, she also needs help. They both need anger management treatment. Together or apart. They need to get help. You too Eve, not just Chad.
Some people are saying that she may get spousal support, she won’t. The real big factor is that they where only married for 6 weeks. Even if the judge was drunk and your friend he couldn’t give you support because that is not enough time (even two years is a stretch and the judge may give it but for a limited time, maybe). If she really thinks that she will get support after 6 weeks she has another thing coming. They have no kids together, they most likely haven’t even merged any accounts together and that still wouldn’t matter.
She could try to sue him for damages that he did to her, but then she is in a pickle also. Her BBW show from the past seasons and her extreme anger toward the other women and track record of attacking others with dangerous objects. Because he’s going to say that she attacked him after finding those condoms (which he will say she said it was alright from the other show), and he was defending himself. Then if she tries to play victim they may even bring in to testify the voracity of what she said and done in showing a pattern of her being aggressive to others.
Another thing to take into account is the fact that Chad is close to being broke, his house isn’t paid for, most of his cars aren’t paid for outright and he has child support payments to 3 kids I believe and one of the mothers is going back to court to get more money. With him not having a job or a show or anything he’s not to far from being a Terrel Owens.

Number one..she found a receipt in their car. Number two… All the judge will see are the picture of her wounds taken at the hospital and his mugshot showing none. Nothing else will matter because her fights on the show have nothing to do with this incident. At most it will show that while she may get violent with women there is no history of her getting violent with men.

Eve went off was hitting him and he grabed her arms to stop her… without her hands to hit, she head-buts.. he gets away from her-driving around- she calls and threatens him and he says I DONT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT MY CAREER.. Not hard to figure out! I hope he fights her in court and the truth comes out. We have all seen how nasty, hateful and VIOLENT this woman is.

Now I am sorry to hear that about her brother in law. That is sad. But she said she thinks that Chad needs help for violence, shouldn’t they make that a his and hers kind of stint in Anger Management; could be like their farewell to each other, because she had Bren very violent and has never discussed how she’s fixed that issue. Prayers are with her for the loss of her brother. Her sister has been married to him foreever. That must be the hardest thing for her.

I never think it’s okay for one to put their hands on another human being in a violating manner. I in no way, shape, or form condone what Chad did, if he did it. However, it seems to me that everyone has tried him in the court of public opinion rather than in a court of law. I could’ve sworn it was innocent until PROVEN guilty. Give him a chance to explain his side before passing judgment.
also, if we’re going to discuss the abuse a man inflicts upon a woman, let’s discuss the abuse Evelyn has inflicted upon her castmates. In no way would Evelyn deserve to be abuse, but that also means her castmates do not deserve the abuse she inflects on them. They’re all adults and should act as such, especially Evelyn considering she has a teenage daughter. She should want to act as a role model for her daughter. There is no excuse for running across tables and trying to hit someone with wine bottles, etc. That’s not mature. It’s violent. While she’s trying to show everyone an example of a woman standing against domestic violence, I ask that she practice what she preaches.

ITA Her BIl passed. Mistresses (1 of many to come forward I wager) speaks out. Chad shifts the blame to her and takes no ownership. She is still laid up in the hospital and is an emtional wreck. She is done. Not a fan but can’t hate on her when her world is collapsing. File and move on. There is nothing to be salvage here. Mistresses number 2 to 20 are right around the corner

Everyone makes mistakes and judges people and can be a hypocrite at times but i really believe that this is a sad situation. Chad has daughters that he now has to face let alone now being unemployed. LJ and MissVIGAL your wrong also. Male cops have punched and thrown women all the time, you want to know why. It’s because in society where the “law” and adults are supposed to live, we are treated as equals. When a woman attacks it can be just as dangerous if not more so as a man. She’s not allowed to attack as much as Chad isn’t allowed to attack. The reason why she didn’t get arrested is because when the cops come to a domestic violence situation the one with the injuries most of the time is the victim and the one that gave it to the person is the assailant. The cops don’t care about the chilvary of not assaulting a woman or to defend the womans honor. And thats also because they know that situations can be manipulated by all to get a result that isn’t correct.
Women like her have gotten whole families killed by playing a victim when it may or may not have been the case. It’s real easy to get a male by using tears or whatever to take revenge on a situation, and then when it happens it not only destroys the man who did it but also his family and the family of the man who said woman may have lied on.
As BooHoo said, imagine if it’s your son. He may not have done anything but it’s real easy for some woman to lie on you and then get some male to attack or kill the son. Or even the son get convicted of a crime he didn’t commit and then spend a decade or two in prison. I’ve known some woman that have real bad anger issues and it was crazy to be around them, in fact it was toxic to be around them. If Chad attacked first then he’s guilty as hell and deserves to go to jail, if Evelyn did she needs to seriously get anger management treatment because it’s not a mentally stable person to be that angry.
Buck henry you should be extremely careful how you word things. You clearly havent been the victim of this. The only thing I was ever guilty of was loving a twisted individual and not giving up on him. I did everything I could. Im taking this as you saying the woman is always plays the victim but is actually at fault. Until you’ve been in a hospital for 2 weeks and 4 days w/ 2 broken ribs, a busted nose, your face swollen,an arm out of socket, and 13 stitches to top it off dont try and spout off about it. On September 7th it will be the one year anniversery of my beautiful friends death. Murdered in front of her 10 month old daughter because she left him. They’d had a history of violence and I’ve heard enough ignorant ass holes try and say it was Mel’s fault. So I’ve known the loss because of this vicious cycle. Sure there are women out there just as crazy and just as troubled. But I’ve been on the recieving end and my dear friend lost her life for this. So out of respect address your opinion as “Ev’s situation” please. I ask this because I dont know how many times I’ve seen women report it to family,friends, and law but its disregaurded because of thinking and statements like this. You werent there to see this and Im telling you right now EVERY man who beats on women will tell you it wasnt his fault and it was her. Making even the victim doubt herself at times. Lj, you dont need to try to make anyone understand. As someone who not only was abused mentally but physically, i feel for her. She isnt a perfect woman, none of us are perfect! We’ve all had our moments. But when a man lays a finger on you, it shouldnt be laughed about. I suffered for a year and never called the police out of fright. I finally went to file a restraining order and talked to a woman who went over my paperwork, she had a criminal justice degree also. She told me my ex is sick and manipulative, and will never change! I have never called the police, or looked for guidance, until now! He is making me feel like its my fault (wow) and blames me for everything, but has no remorse for putting bruises on my body!! I prayed ev would leave him and it is working. No one should put up with that. All they will do is kiss your ass for a few days, or weeks..but it will never stop. For all you sick people who think its funny or she deserved it-pray u never go through it- or have a daughter go through it or neice or granddaughter.
Well said! I am more than disturbed by how many seem to find this funny or felt that she deserved it. I guess it shouldn’t surprise me. Our society has always devalued women and the harshest critic are actually women. That any woman feels that this is her “karma” is just sad. Domestic violence is no joke and it is a continuous struggle having enough resources to help those abused find help and get away. Keep strong in your efforts. Unlike the people behind these comments, there are many people who are working their hardest to eradicate spousal abuse and getting those that abuse their significant others the jail time they deserve.
