Exclusive: Drita Talks Reunion, Rumors, And Where Her Relationship With Karen And Ramona Is Today!
AllAboutTRH had the opportunity to speak to Mob Wives star Drita Davanzo to discuss the epic reunion of Season 2 Mob Wives! Drita talks the reunion, rumors and updates me on where her relationship with Karen and Ramona is today! Drita also answers if she’ll be appearing on season 3!
What were your thoughts on the Season 2 Mob Wives reunion?
Sitting back watching it…it was entertaining BUT sitting there going through it…is torture. I do believe its good for everyone to be able to explain how they feel about what happened and there reason behind why they chose to do or say what they did. Reunion’s are my favorite part of every reality TV show.
What shocked you most about everything that went down on the reunion?
The most shocking part was when Renee said she pregnant and had a miscarriage. I did not know that..and I felt bad I was not there for her.I wish she would have told me.
Do you think Ramona wants to see you and Karen move forward and be friends?
No.I don’t believe Ramona wants Karen and I to be friends. Not that we would ever be friends again but to be able to be civil and not fight anymore is where we are at. Which is good enough for me. I am happy with that. I’m tired of the fighting over something that happens over 10 years ago. Its so stupid. Do I think Ramona even wants us to be civil with each other? I’m not sure but fighting and arguing with her will not make it easy.
How is your relationship with Karen since the reunion ended?
There is no relationship. We have not spoken once since the reunion but I don’t hold any grudges towards her and if I saw her out I would say hi etc. She did go through the same situations as I did in her life with her relationship so we do have that in common. I’m glad we made a truce because after what we have been through I don’t think we need to add on more stress. And that whole fight to me was absolutely ridiculous to begin with.
Will you ever be able to move forward with Ramona?
I don’t have a problem moving forward with anyone BUT Ramona causes so much shit outside the show that it makes the situation worse and worse. I just feel she has way too much time on her hands and needs to focus it on herself and not my business or my life. There is something she did outside the show that will come up and when it does there will be not one person that will believe how nuts she really is. I’m just hoping Karen was not involved in it. And if she was that will put us back to square one. Ramona needs to know that everything she does or tries to do when it comes to me…she gets ratted out on. I think the funniest thing that happen this summer was my ex boyfriend calls me and tells me Ramona and Karen were trying to hook him up with one of my best friends. [laughs] I told him if he wanted to hook up with any of my friends he should just ask me I have no problem setting them up. It was funny.
What do you think about Karen and Ramona bringing up that Carla slept with Karen’s ‘uncle’ at the reunion?
To be honest I COULD NOT BELIEVE THEY BROUGHT THAT UP. First of all Karen said that she slept with her uncle for 8 years when he was married. 2 LIES right there. Karen was not related to him whatsoever and it was not 8 years. That was something that happened I think over 20 years ago. So that’s just crazy. Carla was so young and people make mistakes. But there was a lot of things Carla knows about them and she didn’t bring it up. I just think when your NO ANGEL…you should not point your finger. There is a lot of skeletons in everyone’s closet and there is no need to pull them out. I don’t like that shit. It shows your character if your throwing peoples dirt out there. It came out of no where and there was no need for it. That’s why Renee walked out…she didn’t like it either. We just don’t roll like that.
What made you get up and want to fight Ramona at the reunion?
I felt like Ramona was being nice BUT belittling me at the same time like she always does. I don’t like when someone is lying. When she said I came over so you guys wouldn’t fight.That’s just crazy because it is taped. Does she not see herself yelling take the mic and tell people all the shit you have talked about me last year etc (and made it about me and her and not me and Karen). And in my face cornering with Karen. Maybe she didn’t want to get physical but she sure as F*ck wanted to verbally abuse me and I’m not going for that. Does she not remember when she said KAREN STOP BEING NICE.!! When I texted Karen. I was getting more and more aggravated because she knew I did not want her anywhere near me.I refused to film with her. So obviously you should not be in my face. Then she kept saying your a mother…your a mother. This is a person that is ripping me apart all season so I know that she was saying it in a negative way. Then she threw out the word bitch…so that to me is ballsy enough. So im assuming you are calling me out. No one ever called me a bitch to my face…and no one ever will. And if you do get ready to rumble. If you noticed I WAS NOT THE ONE calling her a bitch etc. There is a way to talk it out. And calling me a bitch is not it.
What is your status currently with all the cast-mates?
Carla and Renee I talk to almost everyday. Big Ang is and will forever be my girl…I love her. And Karen n Ramona I have not seen or spoke to them.
Do you know when Lee will be getting out of prison?
Lee will be out of prison next year.
Do you think the two of you can work on your marriage?
I don’t even want to bother working it out because I know how I am. I will never trust him and always accuse him of cheating even if he’s not. The trust is out the door and so am I.
Will you be returning next season?
I don’t know yet. I can assure you I won’t be gone from the TV screen though. I was offered other opportunities which I am excited about. So either way. If I’m not on Mob Wives I will still be around. I do love VH1 and everyone I work with. Most of all I love my fans…and since I have said I am undecided..Mob Wives fans have not been happy. I will post as soon as I figure out what I am doing. I just feel lucky I have choices.:))
What are you currently up too?

My cosmetic line Just Me Cosmetics is launching on my website and also will be available in the Staten Island Mall, I have a workout DVD coming out and a book on my Life Story. I’m shocked Renee kept the miscarriage a secret even from her co-stars! I think Drita made a good point when she said you shouldn’t bring up stuff when you have skeletons in your closet. The whole situation with the uncle was unnecessary and uncalled for. Can you honestly imagine a Mob Wives without Drita Davanzo? That’s just asking for failure! Thoughts on the interview? Drita, run from MOB WIVES if you have opportunities to do other “real shows” go do it, your better then the “Bitch Wives”.Ramona and Karen will never do anything else, their just to mean. Drita you got a temper but never unless provoked. Your an awesome person who has come a long way, if you can leave that show and build a real career on your talent. GO WITH BLESSINGS! It was a good interview, thats the Drita I like reminds me of beginning of season 1 Drita. Not trying to argue and I can respect other’s opinions here, but the one thing I cannot get over with her is the physical attacks/threats! They have all talked crap about each other-its just words! There is no excuse for any of the ladies especially Moms to fight physically- no excuse! Drita tends to forget that she has said nasty things about people also then put her hands on people. It doesn’t matter to me who returns and who doesn’t because anything with any show after season 1 is never that good or enjoyable to watch anymore. I agree it wasnt necessary at that time for that”uncle” rumor but I think buttons had been pushed by Carla for too long and given a pass! When you talk about people and backstab, they are allowed to defend themselves and it just seems so one-sided amongst the cast and friends on this show. One group can do and say as they want, but the two who aren’t the fan favorites do it and its a problem? Outside of some of the opportunities from the show, I sometimes wonder if Drita and Ramona do not get along anymore( they did use to be friends) because they are very similar.
I agree. I like both Karen and Drita. The jury is still out on Ramona for me (I like that she is a loyal friend to Karen, but I wish she’d shut up sometimes), so I’m neutral on her. But I do think that Drita still has serious anger management issues, and she is too old to still be putting her hands on people. It’s not cool. The constant talk of beating people up and putting them in the hospital just makes her look very bad to me. I still like her, but I wish she would stop with that.
Yeah thats what did it for me with her. I like Ramona because I do not see her doing anything out of the ordinary or fake! People don’t agree with that but its ok! I like her loyalty and if she says it behind your back she brings it to your face. Cant say that for all of them
I like Drita too, but I HATE how she always flies off the deep end and wants to start fighting…its like okay, you’re tough, you said that. I watched the reunion, and had to rewind it because I thought I missed what made Drita go nuts, and still don’t think what Romona said was worth that type of reaction. She was saying “You’re a Mother, so no matter what, I respect that..”….Romona has a lot of respect for Mothers, and that is clear throughout the show…she went cray when the guy in the bar while they were “camping” said something about Mothers too. I like them all…and hope Drita comes back, but I think she needs to relax a little bit too!

Lexi did you hear them discussing it @ Renunion? I was surprised Drita actually touched on it. They were never BFF’s. Drita actually was very close to Ramona’s sister. I do not believe it was for years, at most a couple and they also let their kids hang together. Yes at one time they were actually ‘friends”/friendly. I know I would not allow my kids to go to movies with Ramona if I hated her that much! I would not go out with her at night and take pics if I hated her either. Thats why I always wanted to know what happened that they have so much animosity now toward each other- their shit talking goes both ways also about each other!
Ramona has gone on countless interview and blogs, she has even twitted bout it on her page, about Drita parenting skills, and she’s a bad mother and she uses her kids as stand in….
Ramona knows how to get under Drita’s skin she knows what to say, and how to say it, i watched the reunion more than once, and i know i alone didn’t hear her remark about the watching the fight “AN INTELLIGENT PERSON…..” come on anyone can see she was throwing gabs… unfortunately Drita took the bait and ran with it….team Drita minus the hitting
Drita we love you……and those that watch the show know that Ramona and Lucifer provoked you time and time again to get you to attack!!!!! I do think if Ramona was GONE (not sure why she is on the show) you and Karen could be civil again..not friends but civil. But best of luck in whatever you do!!

Drita I respect that you know yourself. I know alot of people with anger issues who aren’t proactive in controlling them. You are a fighter..have always had to be..you’re a single mother and you have the Mother Bear instinct in you. What people forget is that you went to an anger management therapist to get your anger under control. Whatever you did in the past, whoever you did put in the hospital, you have moved away from that person. No one knows what you have had to endure just to live day to day in the projects and so I commend you for growing as a mother, and a woman. You recognize what’s wrong and you move forward to improve yourself. Those other two idiots Lucifer and Fatal Attraction are still sitting in their teenage dreamworld when their families wiped their asses. I can just imagine what a nightmare they were. But anyways, My Beautiful Albanian Queen, keep your head up, you’re moving in the right direction and you will reap all the blessings that you put your mind too. You should have your own talk show! They do it for ratings and what is good for the show. Ramona was known for her bs and the tension she caused, thats why thet brought her on. I get…when someone pisses you off,all u see is anger while in the throws,ur also thinking of how you could shut that person up. Everyone reacts to everything in different ways. People go on a defence and sometimes it includes a right hook. Im not saying its right,but personaly,im a mother as well and you lead by example even more when your on tv. Your children,family,parents from kids schools and many others are seeing the kind of person that,you et these idiots bring out in you. Well, Ramona certainly did provoke Drita! And Ramona may not be physical, but she definitely does not fight fair. Sometimes that psychological warfare is worse than fighting. Ramona knows how to push Drita’s buttons and she knows how hard it is for Drita not to get physical in that case. She clearly wanted Drita to lose it, so don’t go calling her the goody-two-shoes! Drita- keep trying and gettin help, you’re doing great! But really they all need to stop talking about being violent with each other. That’s just not acceptable to most of us and not nice to watch, even if it is “normal” in their lifestyle.

I love Drita, Big Ang and Renee, Karen is ok and so is Carla. Ramona seems ok, but sometimes she has a face u just want to slap the crap out of. Drita without a doubt makes the show worth watching all the alpha females can relate to her.I believe the show will die out without her.I wouldn’t watch it if she left but i will follow her career becuase i think she is very talented and i admire a single mom trying to make it for her children.God speed dri and you will have alot of your fans support. Oh wow, when Drita revealed that Ramona & Karen tried to fix up her ex-boyfriend with one of her best friends, that absolutely confirmed that Karen is still totally pining over Lee. Wonder if Karen will try to rekindle something with Lee when he gets out. And what must David think?
I’m glad to hear Drita will be on a show no matter what because she is great television. The problem is that if Drita doesn’t return to Mob Wives – all of us fans who love Drita will blame Ramona and possibly Karen for her departure.
In my mind, Renee, Drita & Carla all seem to be on similar paths, having just separated/divorced from a mobster and now they are ready to take on the world; forging a new path. I’d love to see them finding their way together on a new season. Didn’t Renee say her old friends weren’t talking to her? I want her to have her good friends around her now, like Drita & Renee.

No pretense! As far as Karen/Romana, they are low life in my book. No character, no class, and sheer ignorance. Shows every time they open their mouths.
The thing about Drita jumping up to get to Romona wasn’t just about her referring to her as a mother, I just think that was the last straw. I’m sure Drita had to be upset for that low blow K/R did to Carla. I think it was a combination of things. But when I saw that look on Drita’s, I knew S*** was about to hit the fan!!! Looked like Romona was hiding behind that man, cause every once in a while, she’d holler out something stupid over his shoulder. IS NO ONE ELSE GOING TO POINT OUT THE FACT THAT MS. JENN GRAZIANO HAS DELIBERATLY DRIVEN WEDGES BETWEEN THESE WOMEN?!?! Called out, on national television. Drita said – Renees sister told me to keep Renees deathbed experience from Carla. Also, Karen & Drita are discussing their whole not meeting during summer issue and again, Drita, says she wouldve and immediately Karen says she was TOLD drita wasn’t ready. They called JENN to the stage and she clearly stated that “right after the fight Drita said she wasn’t ready”. It’s clear she didn’t ask her again and like Drita said, that party was a setup. Period. Look at Big Ang. She was mortified about beibg the cause of that fight. Someone told her to do it. Where did she go?! Why did she not stay by Ramona to keep her busy? Tv is very manipulative. Been Team Drita since day 1 and this is exactly why!! Glad to see her doing well and I must say ABSOLUTELY impressed & stunned and u people should be too that Drita D’avanzo was able to walk away from Ramona Rizzo…….even if it was on camera.
IA with all of it. Yes, Jennifer Graziano DID manipulate a lot of what happened on the show and she got called out on it! Have you ever seen anything like that? It’s huge in reality TV! She is actually and old and close friend of Karen’s and a lot of people believe that she basically has been telling Karen what to do and say on this show with the premise that it would benefit her book sales. It also benefits the ratings, right?
As for Lucifer (not Lucifina, bitch please..) she was a total chicken shit, hiding behind the bodyguards. When Drita got up she looked like she could pee her pants. She can talk all she wants, but there’s no way she would go one on one with Drita. No possible way.
I know it happens in tv all the time, but I’ve never seen anything like that. These ladies are all friends. They’ve all known each other for a long time and even if it is a show you know these women are trippin their getting played like this.

After all the problems that you have endured with Karen and her cousin (Romona), why do you now want to “bury the hatchet”? Girl, if they disrespected me like they did you, they would be the ones sleeping with the fishes.
You and I come from two different worlds. Last time I got into a cat fight with a female, she hit me on the left side of my head with a 4×4 (making a cut and almost took my eye sight). That same day, I football checked her into her open car door and broke her ribs. I may be not be living in the mob world but close enough. If your not going to be on, then I have to just find another show to watch. When I watch it now everytime ramona is on, I fast foward. I love You, Carla!! And, Ang!! And Renee of course!!!
I will definitely NOT watch the show if Drita is not on it (Main Character); I love Big Ang & Carla; Renee is tricky; Karen tries to hard; Ramona is a NON MF Factor on the show, so she will not be missed at all.
Of course, Jenn, manipulated a lot of this! Welcome to reality TV. They ALL do it! I’m sure all the wives are aware such things may be going on behind the scene. And like someone said, it’s all about the ratings. But now that they all know who did what, it’s their choice to leave or stay.
Personally, I’d love to see Romona leave, while the others stay. MW’s did real well without her last season. She keeps trouble stirred up simply so she can get more air time. She’s massively shallow, no depth to her whatsoever. And Karen’s just a big blow hard!! She’d be nothing if it wasn’t for her Rat of a father.
I’m really going to miss Big Ang…….what you see is what you get. Love her!! As much as I like Renee, her drama can wear on my last nerve. I hate what she went through, but it’s always something with her! Wish she’d just focus on AJ and not all that other dumb crap. Love Carla too. To me, she has the most class out of all of them. No, she may not had been no lily white angel, but at least she tries to conduct herself in a better way. Not trying to be a bully like those two idiots, Karen and Romona. They are SO boring!!!
Ramona should be kicked off the show for good. She is a waste of air time. I can’t stand to look at her ugly face. Ugh! Karen needs to go back to Arizona and be a mother. Ugh!

My big issue with M.W is wondering if these women ever think about their kids watching this one day? With their horrible language and bad choices they make. I noticed at the dinner Big Ang gave during the last episode, their language didn’t change that much even with the kids there. I know they love their kids, just wish they would think before they act/speak on there.

The only thing I saw that took place off the set was you trying to have Romana removed from the show.. or that you didn’t want her on it.
I think you’re jealous of Karen and Ramona because of how much money they came from & really don’t take no shit from anyone. Women who usually date one of their friends ex’s do so because they want what that friend had or they’re too lazy to go outside the circle to find a man of their own.. men do the same thing.
I think you totally miss what loyalty within the mob means or what loyalty between female friends is.
I’m 50 and from the hood. We don’t even talk to our girlfriends guys. If a fren leaves their hometown, always expect them to return especially if there are bloodlines or people that go back together generations.
