Drita Davanzo Talks Season 3 Of Mob Wives Plus More!
This season of Mob Wives have been rather interesting with all the drama going on involving Karen and Drita as well as the recent drama regarding Junior being a “rat” as the wives like to call it. RealityWanted caught up with the breakout star of Mob Wives, Drita Davanzo and asks her if she’ll return for a season 3 plus more!
RealityWanted: Will we see you in season 3?
Drita: I don’t know. I’m not sure when you’ll find out. Probably in the summer, in about 2 months.
You, and the other women on the show, have been through some tough times. What has it meant to you that the show is so popular and the response you’ve gotten from your fans?
I think that’s what kept me going with the show and if I’m going to do the third season, that’s what would make do it because it’s amazing, the impact that I’ve had on women or young girls that look up to me as a role model. It’s amazing. Some fans come up to me crying and say I’ve changed their life or they’re going through what my daughter went through and they don’t have a father. Exactly what I wanted to happen mostly happened. The reasons I did the show and what I was wishing people to see, they see. It made me happy, you know what I mean?
Have you put more thought into fighting or are you going the peaceful route?
There’s a scene which was cut out, you can see the bonus clip online, of my brother talking to me. That’s what really made me change my mind. He just blatantly said to me, “Fighting is fighting. I don’t care. You’re sugarcoating it.” And he’s right. It makes no sense. I’m trying to put that behind me. You know what it is? I try my hardest and it’s so difficult to live life doing things I don’t want my daughters doing. I wouldn’t watch them in a boxing match so if I don’t wanna watch them in a boxing match, I shouldn’t be doing it. Period. That’s how I look at everything.
Has doing Mob Wives made you think of other things you might want to do, such as more television or maybe a book?
Right now, I have been offered a lot. Honestly, I got very lucky. It’s a lot of different things. They want me to maybe go into movies and do this and that. I’m overwhelmed with the response. A book? I have been offered that a long time ago, in the beginning of the first season. I think I’m definitely going to do that, the reason being that I always wanted to. I was caught up in the thought process of my kids reading it. I always think of them. After doing Mob Wives already, what else could be worse?! So I was like, “I think I’m going to do that!”
Can you tease anything about the rest of season 2?
You know what? I think everyone is going to be kind of shocked…
I’m honestly hoping for Karen and Drita to make peace. I think Ramona is the only reason that it might not happen because she encourages the drama. Do you want all the wives to return for a season 3?

I would like if Drita and Karen could be cordial but I don’t think they will EVER make up. I feel like Karen would be fake about the situation just like in season one when Drita would be saying how happy she was to have Karen back and Karen was just saying slick stuff about Drita. Hopefully Drita does do some movies or more tv.
I honestly hope they get rid of Ramona, she is just too much to stomach.
If Ramona continues to be on the show, I will probably stop watching. I love Drita, and I like Carla. Because I like them so much, and Big Ang, I can handle watching Rene. I could really do without Karen, aside from all the things that people say bad about her, I just don’t think she’s a good person. I don’t think she’s “real” either. I think she’s really just a disgusting human being with a lot of issues. Ramona is worthless, I don’t care what they show of her at this point trying to point out some redeeming qualities. She has none. She truly makes me ill, and I cannot stand watching her or hearing her speak. I also hope that Carla wakes up and realizes that it wasn’t just Rene taking what Karen said wrong, it was Karen putting it in her head that Carla meant it that way. Karen and Ramona are disgusting, and it is not good for Drita, Carla, Rene, or even Big Ang to have these women in their lives.

I agree. Ramona may have come from a top family but shes nothing but a trash talking gossip monger. Every scene she is in shes talking shit about what Renee’s husband did. Meanwhile you let that shit go if you are a friend to renee. You help her move fwd and not dwell in it. I dont get why She talks about Dritas ethnicity at all. Not many shout this from the rooftops but in a Traditional family marry a noncatholic, a ghetto latino or black in an italian family you might as well be dead. 2 decades ago people looked down on you for mixing. So its really hypocritical when she says Drita isnt italian. Neither are her kids, neither is karens kids and neither is renees kid… Seriously at least drita comes from a country that neighbors and used to be part of Italy!!!! Anyway as an Italian from bensonhurst I LOVE DRITA and I think she should get her own show, in fact I wanna see her on E Fashion POlice! and Dancing with the stars! I would watch my back were I Drita whenever Karen is around. She’s trying too hard to hurt Drita for some past “imagined” slight. Get over yourself Karen. Dritas HOT and you’re NOT. You left your child behind to pursue your book…Drita always puts her kids first. You need to face it, Lee was over you when he made Drita his wife. I REALLY fell in LOVE with Mob Wives on S1 ….. Although, now after watching some of this season I’m a little over all the ‘wanna be’ type attitudes of wanting to continue the lifestyle of the mafia or relive it. Also, tired of all the over the top drama on & off the screen in addition to the cast not wanting to film with certain cast members, etc…. As I’ve posted before, I thought the show was going to be about family members of the mafia lifestyle ‘moving forward’ with their lives & instead we see at least 3 of them trying to ‘re-live the past or wanting to remain statas quo’….. JMO… I’m a huge Drita fan & enjoy watching her in addition to Carla for although they were involved with mafia, they struggle to try & move forward with their lives which is fun to watch their escapades…. Enjoy Renee as well, when she’s not over the top with drama, & of course Big Ang’ but not sure if she can carry a show on her own but do wish her success…….. Again, JMO…… I think if they can get back to the original premise of the show that I’d be screaming for a season 3……….:)

Totally agree with Ramonasucks. I honestly think she just HAD to have her fifteen minutes of fame, and was able to kiss Renes ass into getting it for her. As far as Karen goes, she has proven herself to be a bad person. No it’s not JUST what your father did anymore Karen. Your whole family moved to AZ and started up an ecstasy ring. So your Dad ratted on someone for criminal activities, which I could forgive if he cleaned up his own act and learned from it. Instead he takes his family to AZ and starts up a whole new criminal scheme – which you actively played a part in. Then you leave your CHILD in AZ so you can come to NY and “do you”.? Hello! Leaving her in AZ is no different than your Dad leaving you to go to prison, except YOU did it by choice. Drita is 10x the human being that Karen is, or Ramona. At least Drita lives her life trying to be a better person, not just being horrible and making excuses for it. Lastly though, every woman on this show should get a freakin medal for having to have anything to do with Rene. I’d jump out a window if I had to deal with that womans screaming drama even one day.
Actually someone else started the ecstasy ring and used Karen’s brother as a way to get him and her dad to front things- they had no idea what the real drug dealer was up to. Karen was taken when they did the raid at the house, and had mugshot when arrested, but I believe she did not sell drugs and I may be wrong, but I don’t think she really had part in it. Like I said I may be wrong!
Karen and her mother certainly had something to do with the whole thing and got probation for a reason.

I think Drita hands down I the most amazing woman (well Big Ang is just the best I LOVE HER!!! But Drita makes me want to get in shape and since I’m not a fighter really I still want to learn how to defend myself. Drita is the most beautiful woman on the show and she can kick ass . When she speaks about her experience I’m just so amazed plys I’m encouraged to take the adversity and make it a learning lesson oh And I always put the sound on mute when ever Ramona is on the screen. I use to think Karen was cool but lost respect at the filthy crap she says about Drita. Drita will be the one who succeds in everything she will do it’s just a fact. I’m just amazed at the things she shares with us like 300 push ups (as a kid) her ability to really hurt somebody with her fights my favorite Drita line besides “Karen how you gonna fight me with yur alligator arms?? aaahahaha or could it be “Romona and Karen are are on my dick because if I had a dick they would probably suck it” DRETA is just an amazing person!!! I hope to meet her someday but so would many of us,
Love the show. Love Drita, Carla, Renee and Big Ang. Really dislike Ramona. Karen, I can take or leave. If Drita isn’t on next season, I will just watch the Big Ang show. I am tires of hearing Ramona and Karen complain about Drita. She is trying to move on with her life and these two are just constantly harping on the past and trying to stir up trouble. Karen for sure was trying to get Carla in trouble when she twisted Carla’s words around. All you have to do is watch the type to see how she twisted it. Good luck to Renee, Carla, Drita and Big Ang.

I love Drita !!!! She is soooo real !!!! I notice in the show that Drita does not even give Karen or Ramona a second thought most of the time till they are brought up to her. The other two just never shut up about the drama. They remind me of girls in high school. Keep on keepin on Drita. You are the bigger person in my opinion, and love your relationships with Big Ang and Carla. Watch Renee, although I love her she loves the drama and rides too much the fence…….<3

I rarely watch reality tv and NEVER comment publicly on things, but this show is makes me do both! I look forward to watching it every Sunday night. I love how each of the characters add something different to the mix. I would also love to see Drita and Karen move on and if they can’t be friends, just agree to disagree and at least be cordial to each other. Oh, and GET RID OF RAMONA! My stomach literally turns whenever I see her on the screen. I DVR the show and watch it once my kids go to bed, and whenever Ramona is on I fast forward through it. She’s so ridiculous it’s funny. That girl needs to either stop taking herself so seriously or someone needs to knock the crap out of her so she’ll shut up. I’m just sayin.

Honestly, I feel like Drita makes the show what it is. I would be so happy if I NEVER had to see Ramona’s face again. Out of all the people that I know that watch the show, Nobody likes Ramona. What is her purpose on the show. The only person that does like her is Karen, and personally I’d like to see Karen take the bus too. I love Drita, Carla, Renee and I looooove Big Ang. I’m pretty sure VH1 could find 2 different women to replace shit and stink. They are both fake ass bitches. Ramona tried to be just like Drita, but realistically she’s more like Drita on crack. I would not mind all of them returning. I think the mix they have on shakes it up as much as people on here do not like Karen or Ramona. I frankly have not heard Ramona say anything diff when smack talking that Carla and Drita haven’t really said themselves. They all have issues. No I am not a Ramona lover or Ramona, just objective- You can easily say also that as much as you think if Ramona was out of the way Dri and Karen would make up, but I do not think Carla wants them to either! Carla wouldn’t want them to make up? She is the most even keeled of the bunch after Big Ang. I think it would benefit her if they made up so that Carla would not be in the middle all the time. No, I do not think she would. I cannot quite put my finger on it- I think she is getting used to the group being divided and its easier for her to just hang with Drita and Bigg Ang. I guess we can agree to disagree, as I do not see Ramona as being the only instigator or coming off as irrelevant.
I agree with your take here..both sides like to talk. I have seen Karen actually step back from that as time moves on. Drita and Carla had many many scenes where all they did was talk about Karen. Carla is quietly a divider she likes to run between the women. If I was Drita I wouldn’t trust her for that reason alone.

Drita has a lot of good qualities but it concerns me that people do not see the errors she made in that Karen situation. I truly believe that Drita’s fans are, for the most part, exactly the type to physically harm anyone who went with one of their exes! Drita’s fan-base consists of the most aggressive bunch of people I’ve ever seen follow a celebrity. I’ve seen her fans, time and time again, write these nasty, ugly and badly written attacks on anyone who doesn’t say she’s the “lady boss.” Drita definitely holds a very strong position on the show and it would not be the same without her. But, it says something about this country that someone who thinks she can settle everything with her fists, is so popular. I can see it, Drita knows exactly what she’s doing by having her girls on the show or by shedding a tear here and there. I don’t think it’s all a lie, by any means, but I just don’t understand the level of aggressive fans that she has and how no one sees it.
I agree with points you made. I get a little nervous to share my thoughts on this show, do not wish to be bullied and I really like how Rox does these interviews and recaps! I like Drita without all the aggression, she has a soft sincere side that we have seen. To me as a viewer the problems between her and Karen are for them to fix or not fix,and its not just Ramona that has ran her mouth as we clearly see on our tv’s. Honestly at this point its not worth it to either of them to be friends, but at least mature and adult like could suffice. I have to admit I read Karen’s book and I found it to be informative about a lot of things ( her father and what really happened and the reasoning behind he did what he did, Karen as a child of the life and what she went through) and yes Lee was in it ( relationship for 7 years) and so was Drita! Nothing bad written about Drita, but it was interesting and put the pieces of the puzzle together! I can see why she is loyal to Ramona and vice versa.

Everyone says they want Karen and Drita to make up but I think people are failling to understand that it has reached a level of obsession with Karen. Ramona is no help to Karens MENTAL HEALTH. Karen literally needs to speak to a doctor, or go to a priest, without cameras, just for HERSELF. I think Drita knows it’s never going to happen because Karen is simply an EVIL SOUL, but Drita is willing to at least think about the idea. Karen is obsessed, it is so damn obvious. A make up between the two will never happen, not with Karen. We must remember the things Karen said about her early in season one, when they were technically friends, by which I mean Drita thought they were friends.
Noah, I respect you have an opinion but I disagree! Do we watch the same show? Are you serious about Karens’s mental health?? I think she is the last person on the show that needs to talk to someone and is far from evil. Renee is the one who seems obsessed with trying to get them to talk and get together!! Aside from 2 episodes she has been the one to bring it up! Ramona kept things cool to try and have peace with Carla! I get confused and wonder if I watch the same episodes as the rest of you. Maybe its because I do not have a favorite anymore since season1? IDK..And if you watched the whole season aside from Drita drama , all the girls were able to have some fun and have laughs which was great to see. I respect Carla running her mouth right back to Drita and being loyal, just as I respect the other girls doing the same minus Carla to Renee( BIG lack of communication).

You do have favorites and it is obvious from your posts it is Karen and Ramona, you can be a fan of whoever you like, but really, Karen running back to Renee and ratting out Carla, for something she didn’t say, is not right. She twisted it to make herself look good in Renee’s eye…could it be because Renee’s sister is the Producer?
As to Ramona,she keeps fanning the flames of the “Drita” hate every time she can because she knows that is the only way she can stay on the show. No one cares about her Grandfather being the idiot that got taken by an undercover cop!
I honestly do not have faves on here anymore, but I do like Karen and Ramona on certain things, more so then others at times. But I also like when Bigg Ang is with the other girls and having fun! Drita used to be my #1 in season 1! It gets me flustered sometimes when I see the same show as others and some things are one-sided in the comments, but I see same episode and thats not how I personally perceived it, but its ok, thats what we talk about here! As far as the Carla /Renee thing- did we ever hear what Karen said to Renee? Because I think Renee hears what she wants no matter what anyone tells her esp dealing with Carla. The camera crew could have told her, or her producer sister! Even Carla said herself she knows Karen better then that, and it was probably Renee twisting her words, and with Renee lately and under her current situation I can believe that. My point was Carla does the same thing- she always runs back to Drita and tells her everything and gets Drita all revved up thinking she is being a loyal friend so why would it have been wrong for Karen to do same thing? Im sure Carla did not mean for it to be taken the way it was taken, but if you looked at Karen’s face she took it a bad way, and thought she was doing right thing ( my guess?)
They have to bring Drita back, the show would not be the same without her. She says such funny things. well i think the show is awesome , i started watching this show because i love the mafia life style , i have watched hours on hours of documentary about the mafia and of course my fav movie is GOTTI , i will be crushed if drita dont come back because you need the 4 that started this show, but if it dont happen i will have to go back to my movies and documentarys because the love i have for the mafia will never die and i hope the same for the show , peace and love to all stephen (big stevie) mafia forever , like jonh says til the day we die , i know the word i just cant spell it lol
how does ramona encourage the drama? instead of listening to what Drita and Carla say about her why not just watch the show and judge for yourself? she never encouraged the drama, when she came out on the rooftop she was clearly trying to get them to stop.

O but its ok because they didn’t live together anymore and no one thought she was coming back to Staten Island ( sarcasm!) and so Drita thought their friendship was over for good so she took her ex and that was that! The funny thing is, that was not Karen’s main reason for being sour with Drita! What bothered her was Drita’s sense of loyalty, well there wasn’t one. I understand what Karen meant that you can pick up with a true friend where u leave off, no matter how many years have gone bye, some people don’t get it! It makes you look shady when you take your friend’s ( best friend or roommate whatever) ex, have kids and get married and think you did nothing wrong and nothing to talk about. Point being even though its shady, Karen cared more about her friendship with Drita then crying over Lee, Drita wanted to make it seem like it was because of him, but it wasn’t . Karen cared more about picking up where she left off with Drita.

I understand your point of view… I am not a staunch Teresa fan, because of previous Season bullshit, but whenever I say anything that is remotely against her, I get shit from everyone…I find it funny. But I understand their loyalty.

No, it was AAALLL about Lee. Karen went to Arizona and didn’t even have contact with Drita OR Lee for the longest. Are people not expected to move on? If loyalty was really such an issue with Karen then why did she cheat on Lee while they were together? Why did she sleep with Drita’s boyfriend while they were friends? More than any of this, Drita has two children with Lee. It doesn’t matter what Karen thinks about a relationship anymore when children are brought into this world so she needs to put her big girl pants on and be grown woman and keep her damn butt-hurt feelings to herself because there is no apology owed for a happy family, even if it ends up in divorce.
Lee went to AZ with her for awhile, as they were going to try and make a life there together. At that point their relationship was a tad rocky, Then they went back to NY together. She never slept with anyone Drita dated and her, Lee, Drita and Dita’s boyfriend even used to go on double dates together. Lee did cheat on her, and she started to seek out another but that point they were pretty much done. Not too long after that is when Karen left for AZ for good. Lee was robbing and stealing and cheating even back then! Karen had met her daughter’s father right before she left for AZ, her and Lee were done. Karen did move on, so did Lee, but that whether it s all about Lee are not does not justify certain things. You think what you think as a viewer? fan, and I will think what I think. I would love to know what some people would do if this was their life and these things happened to them, if they would use these excuses for their own situation like this! Drita wanted that to be the only excuse so she did not feel guilty for making a life with her friend’s sloppy seconds.
If it was me and I was over my ex, as Karen said she was…I would not give a rats ass who he ended up with..friend or not. Drita apologized to Karen in Renee’s kitchen, but that was not enough for Karen. I wonder, what would be enough, that Drita cut her wrists? She apologized….move on.
If I was Karen, I would have had a big laugh and said to Drita: just like he cheated on me, he will cheat on you…and look, he did. I would have had a drink ( or several

Really? You must almost be Karen herself to know all these things. I will believe Drita because she is a loving mother who would never desert her children for the sake of her career. OK sloppy seconds or not, Lee cheating on Karen does not justify her crocodile tears. Drita had something more significant wiith Lee…she had a marriage and children and that is why I think Karen should have shut her mouth…and more than than that, accepted the fact that she had also moved on. Karen got pregnant with another man’s baby and that concludes the chapter of her life with Lee.
Lee became fair game after he and Karen ended things because all is fair in love and war.
And, love is an involuntary emotion and Drita does not owe anyone an apology for marrying the father of her children (and at least she actually married the man whose children she carried which was unlike Karen).
Only Karen and Drita’s ex-boyfriend know if Karen just “made out” with him or actually slept with him but Drita perfectly described it as “ex-boyfriend bs.”

I see that Drita has a huge temper. I have also seen Drita try and reason while being belittled and with aggressive actions being made towards her. I don’t think going to blows is the answer but I also don’t see where taking or accepting abuse from another is very productive either.
I believe that Drita loves her children and her life has revolved around her children. She has worked hard to give them a loving and stable home under the circumstances. She is protective and even when she found out Lee was unfaithful she still allowed her children to talk to and know him. She is genuinely hurt when her kids hurt. She tries to be a good friend, a good person and I like that she went to anger management on her own and tried to find a release for her anger in the gym. She is to be admired for trying. She proved in season one that she is a good friend and tries to give everyone the benefit of doubt like with Karen. Drita has character!
Rene is a drama queen but I love her. She feels everything with every ounce of her being. She has held onto a fantasy of a happy-ever-after with Junior and was let down in the worse way. She needs to let go of the lifestyle because it has not been good or healthy for her but she tries to be a good Mom and she tries to be a good friend but she is way to easily manipulated by others to have ever been a success in the “life style.” She would have been whacked years ago! She needs to surround herself with those that have been true to her and Karen and Ramona…Not so much!
Carla is a little to passive at times and runs her mouth to much other times. I will say that she has been loyal to Drita as a friend. She may have tried to ride the fence a little but I think that was a friendship to Rene and maybe to protect or build a bridge for Drita. She is a smart woman and she tends to get drawn into drama by trying to not get in the drama. Rene needs to be thankful that Carla is forgiving because I wouldn’t be.
Karen. WoW! Karen is low life. She is so immature that I can even wrap my mind around the fact that she is around 40 years old! People come in and of your life. She moved off to Arizona long after her and Lee broke up. She hadn’t even spoke to Drita, by her own admission in many months prior. Her dad had turned states evidence, went to wittness protection and the family followed. She wasn’t loyal to Lee when they were dating nor was he to her, probably because they were young. There is some deep seeded jealousy and insecurity with Drita that was probably there before Drita and Lee were even an item. I am so tired of hearing her talk about loyality. YOU LEFT and left your friendships behind at that time in your life. I was friends with people years ago that I have NO idea who they are as a person today. Karen is so in love with Lee that she has to hate on Drita for having him. If she was so happy in her own life and was so happy with her man in Arizona before he went to prison she would have had NO issues with Drita and Lee. If she had moved on with her life like she says none of this would have mattered. She would have been happy for them and respected their family and their children. The “loyality” she spews is an excuse for her bitterness. She not only has no respect for herself but has no respect for her own child. Who leaves their children to “do me?” You can write a book in Arizona. It sounds like she was more resentful for being a single mother and having that responsibility that she jumped the first plane when he made parole. Shameful excuse and I hope the daughter refuses to come to New York. She only wants her there for image alone. She has already proven she is far from Momma of the year! She is a drama seeking hater. She wants what Drita has and not just Lee. She was still hating on Drita when Lee and Drita split. Its hard to not notice that Karen is a far cry from Drita not only in beauty but in character. BITTER… Your table for ONE is ready! She is so insecure and so filled with jealousy and envy of Drita that she has to attempt to turn everyone against Drita. Rene needs to be smarter and see that. The only person she can surround herself and that will stroke her ego and her envy is Ramona who is even more disguisting than Karen!
Ramona the pest. Ramona is dragging on the tail feathers of Karen. She has no mind of her own. She don’t even know Drita but hates her because Karen says so. She is just looking for her fifteen minutes of fame and has only made herself look like a terrible, hateful, resentful, bitter, OLD, broke down, pathetic excuse of a woman. What a let down to your family. I am sure the family would have accepted her but damn, she just keeps making them look bad. She is all talk but no back bone. I wish Drita had gotten a hold of her on the reunion show. I think she pee’d herself a little when Drita told her, “After the show, were fightin!” She had a look of terror on her face. She only has her mouth and no back bone. She has NOTHING to bring to the table as far the show goes. Her only purpose is to tell us what Karen’s butt taste like, stroke Karen’s ego and show us what a puppet she really is.
