Great news for Dina Manzo. Although she is going through a separation with her husband Tommy Manzo doesn’t mean she’s going to let that bring her down! Dina has officially signed up to star in a documentary about her life! She will some what be returning to reality in a docu-reality genre scripted series about her life according to Deadline. Al Roker will be producing “Dina’s new chapter.”

Roker said, “This collaboration will be an opportunity for Dina’s fans to go behind the scenes into her world — which is different than most people would expect. I think viewers will be surprised at the type of show this will be.”

Will you be watching?

  2. Rach says:

I really like Dina and I’m glad to see that she’s doing well post RHONJ.

  3. MelbourneHW says:

Can teresa join you??? That’s a show I would love to watch! No bitterness

    • Deb G says:

I would watch it and I agree it would be nice to see her and Teresa!!

      • MonkeyFighting says:

Actually it would be a fun silly show w Tre& Dina.. Seeing as they are not mean spirited ladies like others and just act silly. I would rather watch those 2 be silly& dumb (in a playful way) vs families being destroyed. It’s so obv that Jac, MeHO, Carowhine & now Kathy r extremely jealous of Tre and it won’t ever change. It’s just sad that ladies get so jealous of another instead of empowering them. Never understand point of jealousy? Be grateful for what you have as it’s not always greener on other side despite appearances.

  4. Rita says:

Wow- so excited! I love her and I think she’s breathtaking.

Ps. Off topic- have you all seen milania’s Instagram? Lolol so cute

  5. September24 says:

Wow Dina really thinks highly of herself!

  6. lipojaq says:

    september24…lol you’re wack like jacko.

  7. MomaJackie says:

So happy for Dina. Good things happen to good people.

  8. Honnie Badger says:

Dina is very strong and authentic. I had the pleasure of interviewing her a couple years back about Project Ladybug. She is warm, gracious, dignified and very attentive to folks around her. She is also deeply spiritual in an empathetic way. She impressed me so much at the first reunion, when she said she understood how Danielle was in a broken place.

  9. JPG says:

I have no issues with Dina, but yawwwwwwwwwn.

  10. holy cannoli says:

Yes, I will be watching this show. I like Dina.

  11. rhfan says:

    Good for her.

I do wonder how this plays into the “I want my private life to be private” mantra she has often said. Just another contradiction from Dina Manzo.

    • Just Be Nice says:

      You caught that too.

    • JPG says:

      Excellent point, rhfan.

    • Gimme Pizza You Old Troll says:

I completely agree. And do people, outside of those who watch RHNJ, even know who she is? Why would anyone besides RHNJ care to watch this? “Yeah, we saw you on that Big Fat Wedding show. Didn’t you say your husband cheated on you a lot?”

      • JPG says:

Lol. She sure did Gimme. And married him anyway, cause we all know she wanted the money.

        • Gimme Pizza You Old Troll says:

I just can’t imagine what this documentary could be about. She has 98 siblings, half of them hate each other, half like each other. One daughter, two divorces. Charity work. OK the end.

(Side note, I think Dina is gorgeous.)

          • JPG says:

Sounds horribly boring to me too, Gimme.

But I do agree on her beauty. She is a stunning woman.

          • rhfan says:

LOL, possibly the storyline will include that creepy, wrinkly nohair cat of hers. It was more interesting than much of her story during RHONJ.

          • CaTfAcE says:

Oh god I forgot about that damn cat! EWWW! Maybe people know her from her home network show, or whatever channel it was on. But I do agree that this seems pointless since it won’t reach that broad of an audience. Not to mention I would never watch a documentary of ANY reality star’s life…just not interesting in my mind. I hate shows like that in the first place, but then add in a fake celebrity and it goes down hill from there. She is one hot lady though I’ll give her that!

    • jeanbean says:

ITA rhfan. How many shows is this? My big wedding, rhnj, over the top decorating show. I have a problem with saint Dina. She acts llike the baby of the family who was always protected and spoiled. She will go on another reality show yet wants it on her terms. I feel bad for talented and skilled people who work hard and are not given these opportunities.

      • rhfan says:

I agree Jeanbean. Especially about wanting the show on her terms. How do you go on RHONJ a show about family without your husband participating? That always bugged me.

  12. jenna says:

WILL SHE ADDRESS HER FAMILY PROBLEMS WITH HER SISTER CAROLINE? OR IS SHE AND CAROLINE GOING TO HYPOCRITCALLY TALK ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF FAMILY, HOW THEY DON’T WANT TO HURT THEIR PARENTS BUT YET NEITHER SPEAK TO EACH OTHER. CAROLINE BLAMES TERESA AND DINA BLAMES JACQUELINE, CHRIS AND CAROLINE.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO TALK THE TALK..THEN WALK THE WALK. YOU ARE MISSING A BIG PART OF THE JOURNEY WHEN YOU DON’T SPEAK TO YOUR PARENTS OR SIBLINGS…UNLESS THEY HAVE DONE SOMETHING TERRIBLE TO YOUR CHILDREN OR PHYSICALLY OR SEXUALLY ABUSED YOU THEN I DON’T SEE HOW A DIFFERENCE OF OPINION CAN BE SO BIG TO BREAK UP A FAMILY?

  13. Ms. Torres says:

I cant help but to remember the cold and stuck up Dina from season 1. So when people write what a sweet and loving person she is. I cant help but to see her like her sister Caroline with their self righteous attitude.

    • jeanbean says:

Thank you Ms. Torres for reminding people about that. She came off as a snob and entitled. Then we had to watch her hang in the kitchen with the scarry cat and her crystals. Not interested!

  14. Laram says:

Love Dina, and Love Al. Definitely will watch.

  15. lifetimemovie says:

Who cares about Dina’s life? What has she ever done that’s interesting? She can’t even pronounce interesting.

  16. Free Kroy says:

Yes, if I can keep up with the time and date (there are so many reality shows that I want to watch but just can’t keep up anymore: preachers wives, r&b divas, married to medicine, ect) I have overload and can hardly watch the regulars anymore (HW atl, nj, oc, ny, bev)…too many, too much. Please stop.

  17. emma says:

I like Dina but I think that a documentary about her life is just a fancy way of saying, “INFOMERCIAL”. I’m always in awe of how far the Laurita family is prepared to go in the direction of self-promotion.

  18. barbara s says:

Looking forward to the show. Good for you!

  19. portishead says:

First, a lady always has a right to change her mind! 2nd hell yahh dina is going to demand a show on her terms before signing on. If she isn’t worth it then they don’t have to keep giving her a show. Clearly she”s worth it. 3rd Dina exists outside of Caroline’s tiny little world and hello has 9 other brothers and sisters and all of their families just in case she feels like showing family is important to her. Don’t watch if you don’t like her. The past shows were all different dynamics of each other and I don’t see the harm in another. When you get a show you always have the chance to put what your conditions are on the table and if they don’t want it they can pass. Dina isn’t desperate like Melissa and actually has an authentic voice. She used it.

  20. marcy says:

WOW There is a pattern here! Yes I get it..The same posse!!Always together..LMAO Congratulations Dina I will be watching…

  21. sana says:

who is she to do a documentary!!!???!? she didn’t even complete the RHNJ!!! I can’t even look at her face she looks exactly like caroline but with differnt hair eww!!

  22. Spenderr says:

Good things happen to good people. Go Dina and Tre!It seems these two are unstoppable. I’m so thrilled for them.

Observe carefully, those with good sincere intentions will always have good come their way.

As for the Manzo’s, Laurita’s, Gorga’s and Wakile’s nothing substantial is happening. Bit by bit their stale decrepit facades are falling. They are publicly humiliated and their financial woes increase day by day. Nothing positive.
Be good you attract good. Be nasty, prepare for the consequences.

  23. Loriann says:

Why? Who is she really other than the Manzo sister that quit RHONJ. Her other show about party planning was a snooze-fest. Im sure she has her fans as evidenced by some replies here but personally I couldnt care less. Anyone that would side with Theresa over her family is scum in my book.
