Dina Manzo Responds To Appearing On RHONJ; Albie And Lauren Call Out Dina!
Former RHONJ star Dina Manzo made her appearance on the hit show after leaving in the middle of season 2. Dina was invited to best friend’s Teresa’s launch party and attended to show some support! After Sunday’s episode aired, Dina took to twitter to respond to what was put on for everyone to see. As I pointed out, the launch happened after the Poshe fashion show so the editing is all out of place. The producers who did that are now fired.
Dina wrote,
“hmmm this is weird, most of my convo was about T & her brother, giving her advice about them not speaking. But they’ve got them speaking at. at this point….I went to this party on the last day of filming…after the fashion show. I don’t know…I’m so confused…Teresa told me no one was there to support her & they weren’t speaking at that point. No I don’t think T was lying AT ALL, just think this was filmed after the reunion as an extra scene~see how much I didn’t get involved?”
Dina adds, “I’m not even going to bother tweeting anymore…I begged them not to be mic’d but was there to support her because she always supports me. I guess it was the fabilini and I got suckered…this whole argument IS laughable to me & silly and very Jr. High & I’ll stick to that. I’m reading your tweets…mixed.No one knows MY whole story & they never will. I keep it quiet & would LOVE for all to get along #thatsall.”
Dina’s niece and nephew had something to say about Dina saying she didn’t want to be mic’d. They took to twitter to call their aunt out! Lauren tweeted, “This scene is hard for us to watch-NO ONE is forced to film Esp if you aren’t a cast member-you must sign a release to be on the show. Many of our very close fam&friends are always at our filmed events and choose not to film or sign a release because they don’t want to be on.”
The handsome Albie Manzo had a few things to say as well. He wrote, “It’s unfortunate, but to some reality is just a technicality. There is no such thing as being forced to film and there is definitely no such thing as being forced to have a conversation on camera. I actually saw Aunt Dina a few weeks ago. Gave her a big hug and talked to her about Lexi and boys ????”
Because Dina never talks about the Manzos, I think it’s immature of Lauren and Albie to call out Dina on twitter. Pick up the phone! I also think Dina wasn’t forced to be mic’d and that Bravo didn’t show a lot of what Dina actually said! Thoughts?

What disgusting disrespect these children show their aunt. Caroline has raised some cry baby, nasty, mean children. The Manzo kids are single handidly ruining their long term career opportunities with these type of juvenile fits. They better own their own business their whole life, because no boss would ever hire these “mean girl” drama queens. I would say Caroline should be embarrassed to raise such disrespectful of the family/elders kids, but look at the trash example they learned from.

I totally agree, there is alot more going on or has been going on with the Manzo’s and for Dina to say that it’s something major. Also they fired all the producers that gave the Manzo’s and others good edit, because Bravo big wigs found out what was going on and got rid of them. Just like the Fabilini thing, the old producers where there. They edited out alot of what Dina said, you could tell from the way it felt so disjointed.
I wonder if Teresa figured out what was going on and went to those big wigs and got the whole production crew fired! That would explain Carolines anger.

I thought Bravo/Andy got rid of him after he called Mel out. After he took a couple of shots at Mel, she e-mailed Greggie and Jay, and asked Greggie why he was tweeting him, and said that Jay was not nice anymore. She was buddy buddy with Jay while he was tweeting about Teresa, but as soon as he tweeted about her it was a different story. Dina’s post is huge. She is basically saying that Bravo is crafting a fictional reality by messing with the timeline. That means that Jacqueline who was too upset to show up at the reunion was not too upset to shoot her talking head moments saying she was disappointed not to be invited to the Fabulinni launch party. Translation Bravo set up Teresa this year and continues to craft a negative perception of her on their blogs and the radar online blogs. Kelp watching if you want, but keep in mind there are much better Tv fiction to be found elsewhere. Also makes you wonder about every villain on the show right? Have all those fired been simply set up by Bravo and Andy?

Was the Season 3 reunion filmed while the beginning of Season 4 was being filmed? I could have sworn I heard Andy say that at the beginning of the 3 reunion.
Yes, Season 4 was taped a year ago and Season 3 reunion was done in the middle of that.
Since the scene with Dina was filmed after both the fashion show and the reunion, it seems as though Bravo AND Teresa wanted a scene with Dina in which Dina would appear supportive of Teresa before the fashion show aired. Dina also tweeted that they’ve been twisting her words to make her seem more supportive of Teresa than she actually was. And during the scene, Teresa was practically FEEDING Dina lines.
It looks to me like Dina got duped by both Bravo and Teresa.
I wonder if Dina had any clue what had gone on at both the fashion show (and reunion) and Teresa’s involvement in it. Somehow I doubt it.

Samantha-I remember reading about the fiasco @ the fashion show last year. So many outsiders go to those fashion shows. My sister and I went to the fashion show 2 years ago @ The Buttstone and sat @ Kim G’s table because I was one of the first people on her FB page and we even spoke on the phone a few times. I got into a huge fight with this guy named Walter Newkirk (who claimed to be her manager) and didn’t go back to her page after the fashion show. That was when Kim G was pretending to be having affairs with Tom and Lindsay Lohan’s father. Kim G’s friend Marilyn is a really nice woman. She filled me in on the nonsense that goes on with Bravo and you are all correct-alot of fabricated Bullshit.

yeah, the whole family dynamic is very wierd; Lauren engaged to Albie’s old roommate,the “boys” sharing an apartment with a guy who Lauren said was her friend first, no other friends except family or their mother’s “friends” on the show. I’m so sorry I invested any of my time in this mess of a season. It’s not even in any kind of order, time wise. Over dubbing voices. Set ups. Mega hype for next episodes. Season too long. I don’t know I think Dina did Teresa a huge favor. She showed that the ending was fake, that the reason she Teresa did not invite Jacqueline and the Gorgas and Wakiles to the launch party was because they had already ambushed her at last years reunion, and she showed Andy as a bold faced liar who to this day is flat out lying to the viewers of the “reality show” he created. They needed to conspire to manufacture this one.
It doesn’t matter if its a friend, a foe or family – Caroline taught her children to be haters. Very sad.

The more I read the more I think all of these people need to be medicated. This show used to be so fun with the exception of the dark Danielle drama which if I recall correctly the viewers said they didn’t want. So they get rid of Danielle to only eliminate nearly all of the fun and make it even darker and more venemous.
Question, it says the producer was fired that created all of this bad editing. Why is Bravo still airing it in this order? Did the producer destroy all other footage so this is what they have? If I fire someone for botching a project I don’t present the project to the public I have it redone correctly. I would hope the powers that be at Bravo view the entire season before announcing a launch date. It just sounds like they miscalculated audience reaction and needed a scapegoat.
It think the safe thing to say it was done to fit in with the storyline they wanted to present to the viewers. It’s as simple as that!!

You can spot the poor editing by just the talking head shots. I.E. sometimes Mama MoFo has short red hair, sometimes it’s darker and longer, than back again. Nothing fits in most of the editing. Yup Bravo, your viewers are NOT stupid.
What a sad, sad family. Chuckie’s kids are just like her and they will have their own little circle and be miserable human beings. I have a colleague that hasn’t seen his mother in over 10 years because she is just like Chuckie and manipulates everyone around her. Sad because this mother has never seen her grandchildren. But if he didn’t break all ties, he and his family would be miserable.
That colleague sounds like my dads mom. I lost all respect for her when I saw how she was treating my dad who was and still is real sick and she was manipulating him and stressing him out. The Manzo children are the worst behaved on any show. Yet, their mother writes a book an how to raise well behaved, well mannered, and respectful children. How to raise child with standards and of priveldge (msp). I can say Caroline did a piss poor job. Her children are none of those things.

This was filmed a year ago and Dina already pointed out that some of her reactions were comments in regards to another conversation that Bravo had edited out. Lauren and Albie should shut up and show some respect for their Aunt. Doesn’t Caro always claim her kids are the most respectful people and make her proud? She takes pride in behavior that most would find shameful.
It’s also clear from what Teresa said on WWHL that Dina left the show because of Caro. It’s not or ever was about Teresa coming between them.
How is it that Dina is so cool and nice and Caroline is so mean and ugly? Dina is completely right about the way that Caroline has acted and calling it high-school is being kind if you ask me. My dad grew up with 10 brothers and sisters, and let me tell you (haha just had Caros voice-over in my head for that) that the oldest brother out of the 10 acts exactly like Caro and the younger ones are generally the more easy-going. I think, at least how it worked in my family, when you have that many kids the oldest gets shoved into a parenting position because the actual parents can’t keep an eye on all their children 24/7. Unfortunately, that behavior sticks even now when all the siblings are over 40 the oldest still acts like they are in control of everyone’s lives. Ugh, maybe that’s why I hate watching Caroline so much, it reminds me of my crazy uncle and all the family reunions from hell.
But, Caroline is NOT the oldest. She is #6 out of 11. Pretty squarely the middle child.

Cass at the end of filming season 4 which ran back to back with season 3 the entire production team was fired for being too close to some of the cast.. mainly they hated teresa and it shows! Next season will be interesting. I believe Caroline and Jac were fired as well!

I’m confused. Lauren says that her family has been at many filmed events but refused to sign a release so that they will not be put on the show film. We saw footage that did not make the actual season, but showed Tre announcing her brother and hugging him in front of everyone on some lost footage. So, did he refuse to sign a release at that time so that it would not make it on the show OR did he sign the release and it just did not make the cut????? Either way, they would have had to yes or no the release and doesn’t jive with what Melissa has said about Tre being the one trying to hid them.

I’m in no way an Ashley/ee fan, but I think it is perfectly fair to say that since Caroline is one of 11 children and her husband has siblings, that she has many, many nieces. We don’t know anything about most, if not all, of these nieces. They could be pretty f-ed up people too – considering what we know about the families…
Another thing, Caroline’s been proven a liar – as you also agree. I think it is more likely that Caroline just made up that “her niece” showed her the book about Danielle in order to avoid blame. Especially since later in the same season she admits (at the table flip dinner) that she is the one who showed the book all around town.

How could the ladies go/be invited to the Chateau to get their hair done and in a much earlier episode show Carowhine and Lauren renting the empty space?
Are we really expected to believe that the day after Teresa and Melissa get into an epic fight that Melissa goes trotting over to Teresa’s house, kisses her on the cheek like nothing is wrong and goes to the effort of taking the girls for a mani-pedi day? They can’t even look at each other or be in the same room without erupting. I don’t believe that this was the last day of filming at all. I’m not buying it.

I am glad Dina spoke up at the launch party, and while they edited her comments quite a bit, Teresa and her spoke of the cookbook comments and a couple of other comments that you know were already discussed when Teresa went to Dina’s house the night of the deck ambush by Jac and Caroline. Also, I believe last night on WWHL (aftershow maybe) Teresa said that when they had the deck fight, she went to Dina’s and Dina’s sister, Cookie, was also there, and Teresa told them about the cookbook comments, Caroline’s issues with her at that point, and what Jacqueline complained about. However, we did not see Teresa go to Dina’s house and what happened, so it was covered briefly at the launch party, so at least Dina’s comments did get on camera about not thinking Teresa hurt Caroline or Christopher with the cookbook comments. She also said that this was petty fighting that would have happened between young girls in school, not grown women. So good for Dina going and supporting her, and as Caroline has said–I don’t have to hate someone because you want me too–that applies to both Dina and Teresa, and Caroline doesn’t get to call the shots. Obviously, Dina and Teresa talked about Napa, the Posche fashion show and how her brother turned on her, and they covered the cookbook comments and Caroline not wanting to be her friend anymore. We saw very little of the conversation, obviously, but editing could not put the PFS incident comments in because the launch party was afterward, so the cookbook comments were revisited and put in. I am just glad that Dina has made it clear that Teresa did not come in between her and Caroline, and Dina has tweeted in the past, and also said if you only knew the whole story, which obviously means that something major happened between the sisters or within the Laurita family, and did not involve Teresa. So much of yesterday’s episode was lies to cover and back up the set up story. The cast got back from Napa approximately September 4, 2011, and the Posche fashion show happened on 9/27/11, so other than the kids starting school, nothing was shown on yesterday’s episode that took place during those 3 weeks. Right now, it is set up that the Gorgas and Giudices & Wakiles & even Jacqueline came back in a good place, getting along, and then the acted portions yesterday were to say look, the Gorgas blamed Caroline and defended Teresa, Melissa babysat, and then on 9/27/12, she turned on Melissa and set her up. I don’t buy it and we aren’t seeing what happened for more than 3 weeks by anyone (yet they inserted things either taped before or after 9/2012). I want to know who is setting up Teresa and why? That is the only set up going on. Melissa’s blog says that things were good, and I was sincere, but Teresa wasn’t and look what Teresa is going to do to me in the final 2 episodes. I want the truth from Bravo–not lies, not chopped up footage. It is horrible to lie to try and ruin someone’s reputation, and I am angry about it. I want all the viewers to realize what is being done here, and not ask why didn’t Teresa invite her family or Jacqueline to the launch party. Please everyone post on all the blog sites, including Bravo about the lies and the cover up. It is stupid because as of 9/27/2011, when Jacqueline took to Twitter and didn’t show up the next day to the Season 3 taping, we have known what the “story” is/was, except now that we have seen the season, we aren’t buying it, because we have seen for ourselves and we can read between the lines, and we are intelligent with good memories. The only people looking stupid are the cast that is lying and people at Bravo for telling them to.

This show is to blame here they are destroying families, some have lost their houses, integrety, and others their families. Just look at the Gorgas and the Giudices and now Carolines family. I side with Caroline and her family. I think that when you age people move on to like the younger crowd which is wrong. You can learn alot from them. I think Caroline has done a great job in raising her kids. There comes a time when people attack your mom so much that you get upset and you jump in to support her (normal reaction) wouldnt you? Theresas kids did it when they were making fun of Melissa. How surprising that during the argument between Theresa and Caroline now Dina shows up. Ok we know you are not talking to your sister, dont show up on the show to talk about her. Shame on you Dina you both were raised by the same mom. I guess you didnt learn much, or are you trying to be the same as Theresa tearing down people to get to the top in this case its your sister!!!!!
