Chad Johnson Issues Apology! Says He Loves Evelyn To Death
Earlier today we found out that Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada filed for divorce after 6 weeks of marriage with football player Chad Ochocinco Johnson. Chad has officially issued a statement apologizing for head-butting his soon to be ex wife.
“I would like to wish Evelyn well and will never say anything bad about her because I truly love her to death. I will continue to be positive and train hard for another opportunity in the NFL.”
Chad just lost everything in the matter of a few days all over domestic violence. It’s never worth it and I hope he’s finally realized that. Do you think Chad’s apology was sincere? Do you think his career is over?

I think Eve is the thug. Anyone that thows a bottle across a room to knock someone in the head and possible kill them or jumps on a table to beat her ex-bff’s ass is a female gangsta. Eve is the OG not Chad. Chad is a smart, whitty, women abuser. He’s far from a thug.
I feel for Evelyn despite her foul and atrocious behavior in the past. She has done some rather disgusting things but that doesnt change the reality. She was a victim in all this. I am the survivor of 4 years of domestic violence and what Chad is doing is classic behavior of a violent and abusive partner! He’s apologizing for not only his repuatation but in hopes of gaining Evelyns trust back and reconciling w/ her. Thats what my ex would do. He was so charasmatic and fabulous. Nobody would have ever believed he was abusive. But he was and the manipulation was extraordinary. He made believe he was sorry and would change numerous times, convinced me that it had something to do w/ me, and that he had my best interest at heart and was the only one who loved me. Chad is cleaning up the mess he made. But I dont believe he’s truly sorry. When I went to classes to learn more about what I’d been thru I was told that often the abusers are vibrant, outgoing, charasmatic, and attractive men. And they often chose women like Evelyn or I. Im not a bully but Im strong willed and hard headed. And they like the thrill of a woman who will fight back or have to break down. They prey on you and manipulate you w/ out you ever even knowing! Im not buying his apology because I’ve been there. He’s lost everything and he wants Evelyn back. This is all part of the manipulation. Although I may be wrong….
Frig both of them!! Two heartless inconsiderate thugs. Ev you’re a waste and chad your career is over . Good luck trying to live a typical life like we all do. Don’t think either of you will survive. Hope Ev gets booted from bbw too!

nobody knows what happened but i’m gonna take the side of the arrest. chad was arrested for being the attacker and that is all i need. as much as a witch eve is i don’t think she needed to be head butted like if she was some dude. who the hell does that to their wife.

Everyone has worth. Inspite of our troubles and mistakes, we all have worth and can transform into the beings that God desires us to be. They need help but, no one is a waste. They both have promising futures. There is life outside of professional sports and the 5 mins of fame reality tv world. I am sure Chad and Eve can continue to build their empires and lives without ous disloyal thirsty fans. With God all thing are possible. Believe that!

I like how he’s apologizing but not taking any responsibility it shows him for what he is.. pathetic scum. If he was innocent he would be proclaiming this to the world. By taking the approach of a generalized PR statement such as this he tries to take the attention off his actions and call attention to him NOT badmouthing her. Who thinks a women “asks for it”? Usually an abuser themselves or the abused…IMO.
I totally agree – if he was innocent he would try to prove it, because he also lost his job which we know he’d do anything to get back.

How is he a thug? He is a professional athlete that up until now, had NEVER been arrested for anything. Yes, he has lots of kids with several women. He takes care of them right? Pays child support right? How does that constitute him being a thug?
Now, Evelyn on the other hand, is a thug. She has a violent streak that has been documented on countless seasons of BBW. She has gone over tables and thrown inanimate objects at several people. I, for one, believe Chad. All we have to go on is a track record and so far, Evelyn’s isn’t looking too good. Just sayin…
I personally don’t think he’s sorry about what he did.. I think he’s sorry for all the repercussion that are coming his way… Do I believe Ev was being nasty and yelling and showing her butt? Absolutely… As would any woman who found condoms in her husbands car of 6 weeks… Do I think she head butted him? Yep this man’s career is over. Not even because of the abuse, he was hanging on by a thread and this was the one thing that destroyed his life.
Lets face it the NFL is quite forgiving of abusers. There are tons of players who have done a lot more damage to their women than Chad did and still recieve hefty paychecks and little to no punishment.
If Chad was 24/25 and at the top of his game I don’t even think this would be that big of an issue unfortunately. Miami seemed to want a reason to let him go and he handed it to them on a silver platter.
Is it wrong that I reaalllyyy want to hear what Royce has to say about all this? She might be kind of annoying on the show but she called Evelyn out first season and never backed down from speaking her mind. I think Jennifer will keep it classy (unlike her ex-husband) if she comments.

So…TMZ is reporting that Chad was arrested and convicted of Domestic Violence in 2000 after slapping his then girlfriend in the face. Apparently he did not learn anything from that experience.

The opinion that she physically assaulted him doesn’t make since. While she has bullied on the show, she’s only attempted that with people she considered weak. She never tried to bully Tammy because she knows Tammy would wear her out. She wouldn’t go after someone who is obviously stronger than she is.
