Camille Grammer Thanks Ex For ‘Gift Of Humiliation’ And Talks Real Housewives

RHOBH star Camille Grammer was on Good Morning America today to discuss why she was leaving the Real Housewives. When asked if it was her choice to leave, Camille explains, “There is a process before you sign for the show. You meet with the producers and you update them on whats going on in your life. I gave them a list of things I didn’t want to shoot. My children and my boyfriend because I believe certain things should remain private. From that they came back with an offer but it wasn’t an offer I was comfortable with being that I have been a main housewife for 2 years.” She adds that she doesn’t even think her ex would sign off on the kids appearing on the show or either would her current boyfriend being that he is so camera shy.

Camille was asked “Isn’t it strange being on a show like this?” Camille says, “Well the first year was horrible because they were filming me when I was going through the worst year of my entire life. My whole life was falling apart. My husband left me and was having an affair while I was filming a reality television show! It doesn’t get worse then that” The host then says, “He said your relationship was over before you even signed on” to which Camille said, “I don’t believe that. I don’t maybe for him but I didn’t know about him.” So does Camille have any regrets? Camille says, “Well since my ex said it was a gift, yes Kelsey thank you for giving me the gift of humiliation for the first season but at the end I could say I have a good relationship with the girls. This makes me even more bummed out to see Camille leave. I’m assuming the producers asked her to be a “friend of the housewife” rather then a main housewife and she wasn’t having it. Do you think producers were making a bad decision?

      that top picture of Camille is horrrrrible!! Her boobs may as well be sitting on my kitchen table! A little cleavage is one thing-seeing the entire boob minus the areola is disgusting and cheap. I wouldn’t have thought she would dress that way

      It not even two years this man humiliated her in front of the world. I like to see if you could do a good go job as Camille . But then in all fairness, if I had $50m a boyfriend eho liked like that why would I want to subject my kids or boyfriend to public scrutiny.

    Still bitter? Heidi when your husband of 13 years cheats on you for months with a flight attendtlant half your age then gets her pregnant while encouraging you to do reality TV and tries to split up your kids in the process…….tell us all how you were over it in a year. Kelseys main gift to her were those kids and a longer than ten years marriage in California w no prenup. Even without all camilles drama it takes a few years to get over a marriage and bad divorce.

    Camille is fine with just going to cast parties as she said yesterday or something so I don’t think it about being a friend of a housewife. They probably wanted her to go back to her season 1 persona or something to cause drama in some other area of her life since her family is off limits… But that doesn’t explain why she brought up being a main housewife for 2 years

      I don’t think they wanted Camille to go back to her season 1 persona, but they also didn’t want her to be boring and have no drama going on in her life.

      Kyle and Brandi don’t get along = drama and ratings.
      Adrienne and Lisa don’t get along = drama and ratings.
      Brandi and Kim don’t get along = drama and ratings.
      Taylor = drama, drama, drama.
      Camille = gets along with everyone. LOL.

      I think Camille mentioned her being a main housewfie for 2 years because Bravo wanted to reduce her role to just “friends” status.

    It makes sense that Camille doesn’t want to film her children or boyfriend, but they don’t film Brandi’s either – so what really happened here?

      They don’t film Brandi’s kids because Eddie won’t let them be filmed. Both parents have to give consent for the kids to be filmed. They don’t film Adrienne’s kids either.

      But the difference between Adrienne and Brandi vs Camille is that the first two don’t necessarily shy away from drama. Whether people like Brandi or not, there’s no denying that she’s dramatic and brings the drama (especially with Kyle and Kim). And Adrienne…no surprise there that her drama is going to be about Lisa. Camille, on the other hand, didn’t have an issue with anyone other than Taylor last season .

        Oh that’s right, Adrienne’s children aren’t on either. You make a lot of sense, that the producers didn’t feel Camille brought the drama. But seriously, Adrienne’s ‘drama’ with Lisa seemed so silly (and I loved Adrienne season 1). Paul is one of my favorites, so I am happy they will be back.

    They should have worked something out with Camille and sent Taylor far, far, away. I can’t stand another season watching her act, lie, and whine. Gross.

    I think she quit because she didn’t want anymore bad press coverage regarding her boyfriend’s brother. He’s a savage murderer. That’s why she quit.
