Bravo Makes Several Editing Mistakes Regarding RHONJ Episode!
It looks like Bravo is making the Real Housewives of New Jersey stick with the story that the Fabellini Launch Party was filmed before the shocking season finale where all hell breaks loose at the Poshe Fashion Show! On Sunday’s episode, we see Teresa’s Fabellini party where she doesn’t invite Melissa, Kathy, or Jacqueline even after they (for the most part) enjoyed their Napa trip!
Well the reason Teresa didn’t invite them was because the Poshe Fashion Show which will be the season 4 finale actually happened before the Fabellini Launch Party and the girls get into it with Teresa at the Poshe Fashion Show claiming Teresa set up her sister-in-law Melissa.
So the Fabellini Launch Party was really filmed October 7, 2011 while the season finale Poshe Fashion show was filmed September 27, 2011. Which made things even more confusing is that Bravo made it like Melissa was babysitting the girls while Teresa went to her launch but in reality that happened on July, 11, 2011. How do I know that? Well Melissa Gorga tweeted it, “Took Antonia, Gabriella, & Miliania to get manis & pedis this morning! They were sooo cute! #cousinlove xoxo”
My oh my looks like Bravo producers tried to make Teresa look bad and tried making it look like she didn’t invite her family or Jacqueline to the Fabellini party even though things went well at Napa. Producers also tried to make Melissa look good by showing Melissa watch the kids even though she wasn’t invited to the Launch party. Bravo, you can’t fool us! It also seems like Bravo has made the ladies act like they really have no idea why they weren’t invited! Are you surprised Bravo thought they were going to get away with this?

I’m so glad I quit watching the show.. I love Tre tho so it sucks… but, I can’t watch the other “ladies” (term used VERY loosely) anymore… I will be tuning in for the fashion and reunion tho… Well, I’m going to TRY to watch those episodes

JD, that’s right, Kathy did say she didn’t go because they were outta town. I get why she didn’t invite Caro but I didn’t get why she didn’t invite Jac because they had kinda made up, I think one of the reasons she didn’t invite Jac was because she invited Dina and wanted that episode to be about sticking it to Caro and showing the viewers Dina was on her side…whatever!! Tre was not joking when she put the statements about Caro and her children in her cookbook. I think it was a dig at Caro for what ever reason, to sell more cookbooks, maybe? Caro has gone waaaay over the top with the cookbook crap though!
Hi everyone… This is my first time posting…I just wanted to point out a couple things. Kathy says she didn’t go to Teresas Fabellini party (October 7,) and leads us to believe they were in DC touring colleges. However, if you notice, the tour guide at the university said something like “when I return to school in the fall, I will be a junior…” Meaning the fall semester of college hadn’t started and the Wakiles were in DC sometime during the SUMMER months. The Fabellini party was October 7 AFTER the Poshe Fashion Show (Sept 27) and also after the Season 3 reunion taping( Sept 28.) The real reason Kathy did not attend Teresas Fabelinni Party was because it was definitely after PFS and after the Reunion taping…. and we all know what occurred at those events.
Oh, one more thing… and this is also why Jacqueline didn’t attend… The Fabellini Party was after the PFS and after the reunion taping. Although we know Jac did not attend the reunion, we also know she was in such a bitter place.
She didn’t invite jac becuase they had already filmed the fashion show in September the wine party was in October at that time the fashion show had happened with the falling out if tre and the cast..,keep up…geesh! Rox has told us this numerous times.
Also Melissa defending Teresa and Caroline having doubt about going in the NAPA trip was filmed the same day. Caroline was wearing the same clothes.

You can alway tell a bad edit by the talking head interviews. I mentioned yesterday, look at Carolines hair…….some times it’s red and short than longer and darker, than back again.

Some viewers are stupid. They think just because everyone in the cast is upset itch Teresa, that it MUST be Teresa and that’s not always true. They need to start watching and paying attention. Also, out themselves in Teresa shoes if random family members that you don’t get along with join your how to get bak at you.
Not surprised at all Rox even more disturbed by the fact that MeHo, Caroclown, Wacky Jac, & Kathy all went so willing along with it as is evident in their talking heads as if this was the plan all along. They were in cahoots with the producers on this one the only person that seems at all confused by this is Teresa. Again, glad the producers were fired but the pink slips shouldn’t stop with them. The whole cast excluding Teresa was in on this bash/bully fest.
Just proves they were editing things in attempt to make teresa look bad during the whole season. If they did it here they did it all season. They were probably all prompted to lie.. so while teresa is filming a REALITY show the others are filming a scripted show.
How do we know that the producers were fired? I had seen this mentioned before but I don’t see a story about it or how that is known.
It was insider leak before season 4 began airing.
I think that that’s a rumor that was started by a few people at this very site. People have been asking for proof of this for quite some time, but to the best of my knowledge all they’ve got are Twitter pictures.
Just checked SH and all I could find was that Co-Executive Producer (S3&4) Katherine Rodriguez tweeted more with the rest of the cast than she did with Teresa (although many commenters have provided proof that this is not true).
Also that she had to become involved somehow when things got ugly at the fashion show.
(I thought that was part of a producer’s job.)
SH concludes: “Ms. Rodriguez is no longer Co-Executive Producer of the RHONJ. Don’t know the REAL reason she was let go from her duties at the RHONJ…”

Wait a minute. The rumor is that other producerS (plural) were fired. I saw no mention of anyone else besides Rodriguez. And again, there’s no reason given for why she quit, was fired, or got promoted to another job — whatever the case may be.

thank you just proved my point. in REALITY SHOWS. the fourth wall is the castmates and the fourth wall is the cameras. i have watched alot of reality shows ever since the very first one on mtv THE REAL WORLD. as i said before reality shows use the same term. camera men and even the guy that holds the boom mike cannot break that wall and talk to the castmates. producers can talk to them when it comes to the show but they cannot socialize with them.
no matter how you spin it sam the man, the producers messed up big time and were seen socializing with carol and her evil helpers. that totally changed the dynamics of the show because that shows favoritism and it’s pretty obvious from the editing of the show who they favor. there’s alot of manipulating and backstabbing going on and it’s coming from carol and the people that kiss her ass.

I think that Teresa was more in cahoots with the producers than anyone else was. The phone call to Joe’s “girlfriend” was done with Teresa’s complicity (imo), as was the scene with Dina to make it appear that she has actual friends and has an actual life outside of sitting in book stores.
And of course, there’s the upcoming fashion show, which couldn’t have happened without Teresa’s cooperation.
Most people have been aware of Bravo’s “creative editing” for some time now, and while it bugs me that they think I’m THAT STUPID, I’m more intrigued by why they felt the need to do it in the first place.

Why didnt Teresa clear up the time line on WWHL, Andy asked her why she didnt invite Family and Jac to Fabellini,I think they are all in on the editing. Because the episode had not aired… till the season wraps they can’t talk about much. Well, or course, not in Jax case. She has been on twitter putting details on blast since last year and we are watching now wtf she was ranting about.
I think all the Housewives including Teresa are contractually obligated to go along with the editors version of what is being shown. It sucks because it doesn’t jive with reality.
Remember on WWHL when Andy asked Teresa why Jacqueline wasn’t invited to the Fabulini Launch Party? She had to come up with some excuse like the party was put together at the last minute. He shouldn’t have even asked her that question since the time line was so screwed up to begin with.
I have a question about the producers. I read somewhere today that a producer of the fashion show episode , ( name is Kat) was the one texting to Jax, during the whole night telling Jax that some drama was going to happen, and that she should just sit there, and not to worry, that the drama wasn’t about her. (words to that affect).. Has anyone else heard that? Also at the table, did you notice that Caroline couldn’t wait to show Melissa the texts ( always instigating IMO) even Lauren was telling her not to. I’ve noticed all the editing as well, Bravo is really blowing any credibility they may have had..
I sincerely hope Teresa doesn’t return after this season and the series tanks. It’s disgusting how CLEAR it was that editing tried to make Teresa look bad. Andy
Cohen denies editing is ever the cause of a “villain” being portrayed, but it is more than obvious that that just isn’t the case anymore. I’m truly disgusted with how they crucify Teresa for ratings.
I think AC is behind firing the whole production team. I believe he is on Teresas side but has no choice but to ride this season out.
He did the top reality moments and chose Teresa as number 1.. he said on WWHL that he told Teresa to do CA i believe he pulled strings to get her on CA and it was a gift to her for the unfair filming of s4. Watch and see what next season brings Teresa!
i really hope youre right. Also, he’s had Teresa on WWHL 3x already while airing s4 of RHONJ, which is more than the rest. One of those times included the season 8 (of WWHL) premier. She was also used for the season 7 premier of WWHL, so that’s pretty significant too since that is Andy’s show. And Kim D was reportedly at the reunion, who is a known friend of Teresa’s, so maybe Andy is realizing that he needs to tone it down with the hate against Teresa because she is going places with or without Bravo and AC by her side.
AC is the exec producer of RH. He owns the joint and it is his cash cow. Tre has made millions for him with all the added drama. It is convenient for him to let all this bashing go on. They will ride this story line till the wheels fall off…

I’m sorry. Wether you like Tre or not, this shows that Bravo can make one situation look like an entirely different one! I wish everyone would sit back and think for a second..1…2…3…if Bravo can magically create this situation, what makes you think they havent edited things in the past as well. Not just with Tre but with any housewife in another franchise? Im not saying that these arguments werent real, or that the bad blood isnt there. Ya, i believe this whole season is heavily edited. But it also makes me wonder what other cities are heavily edited. Shed media which is who produced NJ also produced the OC! And you can tell, you can see the gang ups on one person. pretty much the exact same thing they did with NJ.

I’m seriously over the whole real housewives franchise! And I’m over bravo! I watch for one reason only! Teresa. I don’t want her to lose her income because she’s an in icent victim in all this from her husbands legal troubles to the jealous bitches gang bang! She and her children need the show to keep paying off joes debts. So I’m watching but I seriously hate Bravotv! I’m not sure yet about Andy Cohen. I’m not sure whether he likes Teresa and is baffled and confused or if he hates her and likes seeing her squirm! Time will tell. The gang bang definitely didn’t work this season! And the show has resorted to unspeakable lengths to try to destroy Teresa, without success… But if she wo t work with anyone… I’m sort of nervous that she could end uP with no storyline and this could be what they’re all after too!

The scene when Melissa goes to Caroline’s House defending Teresa eas also filmed in October. These people must think we are stupid. I hope these producers were fired and I hope Teresa can have a friend on the show next year.
I think Melissa was saying those things ABOUT teresa and not in defense of Teresa if you watch they cut out a lot of the conversation and no way did caroline sit back and allow ANYONE to say those things to her.

Whoever produced this show the way that they did, needs to be fired. It’s absolutely ridiculous to change the facts to suit the way they want to air the episodes.
It would of been perfect to just air the eps out of sequence but as they happened with an explanation as to why.

I think Teresa is in on this shit too to some extent. Agreed that it definitely paints her a certain way though.
I was wondering why A) MeHo said she was taking the girls so Teresa could do her launch, but let Audriana there and B) why it looked to be around noon or so that she took the girls, but the launch was clearly at night.

Fair play. They may all of got suckered into making comments in voice overs or in interviews to try to make sense of the way the producers decided to air the eppies to suit the effin way they decided to air it.
Teresa has said a few times now (once I believe was on WWHL to Andy) that she is a “good employee.” I think she is letting people know that she has to go along with the Bravo agenda.
I never get to watch this when it comes on because I am not giving them the ratings. I can’t watch it unless Bravo repeats. This whole show is getting to be too much. I am over the cook book Caro-Clown & adult children keep ranting about, and whatever bs they dream up. They are all jealous of Teresa’s many successful ventures. I think they sould concentrate on making their own brands and leave her the hell alone, however I am sure it’s easier to spew hate than actually get off their ass. Bring Dina back, take Manzo-Laurita off- Jacko- is just now saying her poor son has autism, I hope he has a care taker because she is too busy drunk tweeting to give him proper care he deserves. Those people (MEHO &family included) all make me sick, and Kathy is nothing but a pot stirrer- why is Rich on the show again????

I have noticed lately on WWHL that Andy acts different. I thought he acted really odd when T was on and the whole Perez Hilton thing ws just yuck! When him making Perez apologize on air to SJP. hello…..who is he anyway. i am not opposed to gays and have no feelings on way or the other as to what they do but his whole handling of Joe Guidice was really odd too. Joe G should’ve told him where to go. Maybe Andy is on the chopping block!!

Another editing catch……Caro and Stripper, at Caro’s house, were also discussing Caro’s upcoming Sirius radio show. It was already done and over.

They did the same thing on Orange County with Tamra’s engagement. She was talking all over twitter about how she got engaged months after they stopped filming but they wove it into the storyline anyway.
At Heather’s party, she said in her interview that she didn’t reveal the news because she didn’t want to steal the spotlight but in reality it didn’t happen yet! At one point Gretchen congratulates her, but its just a voice over.
This is nothing new. But it definitely makes you take the show with a grain of salt. Jac and Caroline are going to milk this until the end of time. They know the truth. If there was ever a doubt in my mind on what side to be on, I’m 100% Teresa after reading Jac’s blog!

Another bad edit…..If Bug Eyes and Snaggle Tooth were in D C in October (T’s party) why was it shown in last weeks episode? The Wackadoo’s are shown taking their kids to a college thing, then a tour of D C.

Bravo is treating the viewers as if they are idiots. But even before S3 reunion, I heard rumors that Caroline refused to film with Tre. That might be part of the issue, with the editing. PART, most is that it was a Teresa bashfest.
But the rest of the cast ended up looking like the villians.
Even that wasn’t right. Classes start in late August, campus tours are done months before starting in like Oct. The Sleazkiles either toured just for the cameras or it was faked. Bug Eyes tweeted pictures of them with the production crew wearing BLK t shirts.

According to Teresa, the phone call was all spliced pieces of different calls that Joe made that day. If he is cheating on her then he has to be the dumbest ass on the face of the earth. Whoever he cheated with better be worth it because with all that was shown on TV, the line of women waiting to get with him won’t be long. Like who would want to be with a guy who treats his wife like that? AND, if there is a mistress she must be dumber than crap also to be content to sit in the closet. *LOL*

And to add to you both, if it was edited to look that way, Teresa is not allowed to say, and that is why she probably never answers that question how people want her to! Around the time of that episode, Teresa tweeted something about being a loyal employee!
I would think that’s a set up. At one point he was answering a call and then a second later he was making the call. I’m calling shenanigans on it. A set up to make Joe look bad. If they just went back to shopping and partying, this editing bullspit wouldn’t be an issue. Forget this villain business, it’s stupid.
I say forget about too, sucks! And they have to realize at some point that what they have done is misleading and may have consequences! The network finally got so popular, and they are tarnishing it! Oh well, I don’t have to watch it !
Bionic I posted below the same thing. I know that is what happened I keep thinking about it and I think they spliced it all in. I think T is going along because A.She has a contract B. They have promised her she will have her own show in the future. I hope she gets a spin off with her family. It would be so much fun to watch those girls.
Also, if you think about it. When they are on the phone, most of the calls are on speakerphone. I know the whole signing discloruses but who have you seen on a call that the caller is not audible? Not on these shows… if anything, the call is captioned with subtitles.
I want to say that it is safe to think this call=montage.
Jac had the nerve to cry in her talking head saying she was so hurt that Tereasa didn’t invite her to the launch party. It was all scripted. Looking back at it, that scene where Melissa goes to Carolines house to defend Tereasa was all scripted as well. I knew something wasnt right. The whole conversation seemed really off especially the one where Jac goes to Melissas house supposelly after the napa trip.
I am so disgusted with these people. I’m not really a Tereasa fan, I actually didn’t really care for her in the first 2 seasons especially in season 2. But I get why she behaved the way she did. She is an extremely loyal person so when her friends or family are hurting she is hurting as well. I get it because I’m exactly the same way and I would’ve most likely behave the way she did.
I just don’t understand how some viewers could defend the other women and say Tereasa is this horrible person. For the past 4 seasons she hasn’t done anything that’s been horrible. All I have witness a woman who is loyal and blunt.
Umm, sounds like the producers gave Mel/CM/Jaxass inside information about the tapings and they came up with 1) Jaxass cryinga bout not getting invited when she perfectly well why she wasn’t, she would have shown up and started some more crap, 2) Mel defending T to make her look good, 3) Mel babysitting the girls like everything is all warm and fuzzy now. Giving them another opportunity to make T look like she is in the wrong.
Teresa remember this no weapon formed against you can prosper and I think they’re feeling it. Teresa pray for you enemies.
Something that happened last August has had me terribly confused since last year reunion. Teresa, Carolyn and dina traveled to LA together for some sort of fashion thing. I remember Teresa committing how wonderful the trip was and how the three ladies had a great time. There were pictures taken of the three of them. Then the season ended and the entire reunion thing. I have felt since this is all lies and bravo is making this up and having them behaving like this for ratings. I don’t follow it like you do, so maybe you can comment on how this timeliness actually played out. Also, I’m sorry but hashing all this crap up a year after it happened it, who does that? And who cares if Melissa was a stripper!?! That just don’t make sense, they are married now, by appearances she don’t have to do it now.
What happened to Theresa and Joe’s renewing their vows in a wedding?
Are we supposed to forget that magazine cover?
Was there a reason its not being show?
Is it part of the reason all those biased producers were fired?

I think BRAVO preferred to air Joe’s phone call. Much more drama = better ratings. I also believe BRAVO engages in frankenbiting.

No I am not surprised nor do I think they care! They , whoever were producers at the time, were too personally invested and it clearly showed. Shady likes shady and that is why there were so buddy buddy with the Jackhole 4. Caro , remember what you said? You hang around with garbage, you start to stink! So, lesson hopefully learned for that crew of producers- shower daily !
Bravo producers think we the veiwers are stupid. They don’t think the fans notice details. In seem cases they are right, some don’t notice details theyjust go with the fllow.
It was reported on sevral sites that Chuckie and crew refuse to film with Teresa. They used that tatic on Danielle and she was fired. The problem with that now is Teresa is who the fans turn in for love or hate her. Teresa is also the NJ moneymaker, the others combined are not half as successful.
Bravo and Shedia Media need to regroup. This shodding editing has gone on long enough. The producers were moved around for being to friendly with the caste. They hanging out away from the show, drinking, dinners, parties and that sort of stuff.
I remember either season 1 or 2 reunion that Caroline distinctly said to Danielle, she, Caroline, doesn’t blame anything on editing. Wonder how that assclown feels now. Wonder if she used it as an excuse at this most recent reunion. Hmmmmm……

Don’t know if it’s already been covered in any of the posts here but wasn’t this the production crew that was rumored to have alliances with the Manzos & were alleged to be blatant in their bias?
I was thinking about the Napa episode and Joe on the phone. With all the editing and frankenbiting, does anyone think that could have been dubbed in. I know Joe can be an ass but I would not put it past that crew that was fired. They have been trying to distroy T and her family. He may have called someone else that another time and place and they dubbed it in so it was as if he called T this.
Alex McCord at RumorFix explains in her video blogs how the filming works. Remember things are filmed before all the editing. So the viewers are really getting a super distorted version of what is really going on.
She talks about “evergreen” scenes, i.e. someone who is filmed alone getting botox, shopping, etc. These scenes can be shown in any episode, at any time, to suit the needs of the episode and the producer.
She explains that cars are often sent to transport the women to film scenes. These cars are usually purposely delayed for some of the cast, while the rest of the cast, at the location, waits and waits. The waiting cast members are usually annoyed. This can sometimes make for extra drama, she explains.
Also, they tell one woman to meet the other for lunch in order to get her party invite. Then first the other the meeting is called because the other woman wants to apologize for something. It seems BRAVO is as slick as a snake dipped in oil.
I sure wish RumorFix would get her to recap the RHONJ.

I love the comment Dina made about how sometimes blood isnt thicker than water. Because it is true. Caro did something horrible for dina to not speak to her. As far as jaq, i think she should shut her damn mouth. She is no one to speak! Shes just a puppet!! No one wants to talk to her anyways so why does she care if tre and dina support each other? They were friends longer than amy of them!
Dina should know she apparently experienced something to treat her we’re thicker than thugs sister the way she does. I guess CM expects everyone to eat her crap.
Dina tweeted that she wasn’t speaking about her own family when she made that remark, that the conversation was about Teresa and her brother. She also remarked that she got “suckered.”
She ALSO keeps tweeting “It is what it is.” Hmmmm….
But further into the conversation, regarding the blood not always being thicker, didn’t Dina say she found that out herself? I think she did on that episode.
