Basketball Wives Recap! Plus Basketball Wives Producers Aren’t Happy With Jen’s Lawsuit
Monday night’s episode of Basketball Wives begins with the continued fight from last weeks episode involving Nia, Jennifer, and Evelyn. Nia who is also Evelyn’s assistant and Jen are going back at each other arguing while Evelyn tries to attack Jen. Evelyn then shouts that every time Jen and her bump into each other that, “she will get her ass stung.” Jen gets away and leaves the place while Kesha and Suzie follow. Kesha feels bad for Jen because she believes Jen didn’t deserve that. Evelyn stays back and beings to cry because she feels that Jen shouldn’t have judged Nia like that. I too agree. Later on Jen meets up with Kenya and tells her what went down. Jen reveals that she is filing a lawsuit against Nia saying, “I do what white people do, okay?” Interesting statement.
Royce invites Suzie and her new BFF Kesha to meet her boyfriend at Dave and Buster’s. They all seem like there having a great time. Jen decides to take boxing lesson with Kenya because she feels like she should probably learn some things in case another incident happens. And we all know, another incident will happen! Evelyn throws a huge birthday party for herself and her boyfriend Chad surprises her with none other than a Maserati! Must be nice!
Stay tuned for next weeks episode where we see Royce and her father get into an argument and Chad and Ev talk about marriage!
In other news Basketball Wives producers aren’t happy with Jennifer for filing a lawsuit!

Sources close to production tell TMZ … Williams was already on thin ice with the show — even before her slaptastic showdown with Nia Crooks — but now that she has filed a lawsuit … that ice is breaking FAST. We’re told producers think the suit is BS … claiming Jennifer never had a problem with fighting before and insist this is a desperate publicity stunt to keep her storyline interesting – securing her a place in season 5. But a source tells us the stunt is not working, adding, “Filing broad lawsuits when you are as much to blame for the drama, is not the way to get your contract extended.”

I agree that it’s a bunch of BS! Jen knew what she was signing up for when she joined the show and participated in a lot of the drama that is happening. To turn around now and try to sue everyone is just ridiculous. If you don’t like the platform…leave the show.
I’m still confused as to why they didn’t care when Meeka sued Tami? Both of them were actually cast members unlike Nia. I also don’t get why the producers aren’t mad at Evelyn who is causing nothing but backlash for the show. They have a petition to boycott her new show with Ocho. She’s a liability not an asset.

Eve is a punk and only attacks Jen because she wont fight back. Everyone else she “jumps” on AFTER making sure security knows she is about to attack. She is going to run into the wrong person soon enough.

i agree! and it’s significant to mention that Jennifer’s attorney had sent letters to her cast mates (just prior to filming at the track) advising that Jennifer would sue if any additional physical assaults on her were to happen at their hands.. so how did bowdy Evelyn get around this ? she brought in Nia, who is NOT part of the cast, who did NOT get the attorney’s notification- to do it for her. some of the women thought they could still have Jennifer attacked, but suffer no consequences. their sly ways didn’t work out the way they’d planned. i say good for Jennifer! she (as every person) SHOULD have the right to be in public without fear of assault, without getting slapped or punched or hit.
Right !!! I agree , favortism , that’s what it boil’s down to. Shaunie fravors trashy Ev , plain and simple. And how is Jen “just as much to blame” , she didn’t didn’t even know Ev’s sidekick Nia would be there , and I got the impression she didn’t know skanky Ev would be there either. Shaunie set the whole thing up and then play’s miss innocent.
I so agree with you. Shaunie is the instigator of ALL of it. And it kills me when she sits there like she didn’t know what was going to happen. And yes, Shaunie was the “source close to production” that TMZ spoke to. I can’t wait for Evelyn to run into someone who will chin-check her right in her horse mouth. These women, I’m sorry, girls, are the bottom of the barrell. I will NOT watch Evenlyn and Chad’s show. Where can I sign that petition to ban the show?

Shaunie is the “producer” that is not happy. OF course it would be her, because Ev is her girl. Thy are all disgusting to me. They continue to justify and make excuses for their bad before. I hope Jen doesn’t get bullied into dropping her suite.
I’m sorry but it is never okay to hit someone/anyone for that matter….. These women are disgusting trash and I’m glad to see Jen press charges…. There is too much of this going on in society, including schools and it’s about time someone takes action. I hope Jen continues these charges and sues the hell out of these women especially Shaunie for continuing to allow this behavior on tv which influences our youth to think it is okay to bully or treat someone badly and get away with it. I cannot for the life of ,e understand why this show is still on the air. Last night Evil gave a performance with fake tears about not judging people who has less than you… Isn’t this the same chick that called Suzie a bum because she didn’t work, and made fun of her speech, the same chick theta made fun of Royce for not wear designer clothes, and even called Tami a non mf factor she was exposed for sleeping with her husband? Let’s be clear, Jennifer spoke THE TRUTH about Nia’s living arrangements, and quite frankly, when your arguing with someone you say truthful stuff that will upset them. I live in a two bedroom house, and once worked as an executive assistant, and I honestly was not insulted. I was more insulted by Evil Evelyn referring to someone as a Retard, as I have a sibling that is special needs. This coming from the idiot who cannot verbalize her point of view. I think that Evelyn is trash and so is Shaunie and Tami, shame on vh1 for continuing to recycle the trash. It’s disturbing that the women that throw punches most likely grew up with it and accept it as ‘normal.’ Tami saying to Evelyn, something like, ‘where I come from, you take it and we keep it moving.’ Huh?!?!? They don’t even understand what is abuse. I wish Dr. Drew would have the ladies from this show on a series where they get counseling together.

I think Nia needs to be punished somehow. It’s not OK to put your hands on someone. These are grown women. VH1 has no right to be upset with Jen. Where should the line be drawn? Broken bones? Concussions? Think what that full bottle of wine Evelyn threw would have done had it hit someone in the head. For the record….yes, I’m white.

I agree… Jen handled herself well. The others Eve, Nia, Shaunie and even Tami are gulity as heck. I used to like Tami but this season I sick of watching her suck up to Shaunie and Eve….. She claims to be real but is a tooth-faced, instigator…..

I am getting tired of seeing these grown women behave like animals. They are worse than kids. Who plans a dinner date or outing to gang up and confront another person (weird). Tami also need to stop and remember when she came on the scene how Ev treated her and how they bashed her outfits as well. She did not come on the show looking as glamorous as she try to now. I don’t know why these adults can just stop and think that Jen just may be going through something because of her divorce. However, on the flip side I think that Ev is really hurt by Jen actions she just acts out like a 2yr old rather than a 36yr old women. They should have handled things off camera between the two of them and not Shaunie involved because she kills me being fake not involved. She is like a pimp!!!! lol These girls are making money for her and she do not care if their lives are being turned upside down behind the show. Shame on her, VH1, and the ladies.
Shaunie and Evelyn refuse to even film with Royce. Who do they think they are? Tami wants to be down with them so bad that she has “developed imaginary issues” with whoever they have issues with. She saw that Evelyn got along with Kesha and she tried to “imagine” an issue there too. Kesha outsmarted her with the “psychology”. Jennifer is outsmarting them too w/the lawsuit. If it was their loved one being bullied, they would see it another way.
The absolute sadest part is Shaunie, Tami and Evelyn all have daughters. Way to go “MOMs”…smh!

Yea, Jen should sue, Nia is not a cast member. Cast member or not, no one has the right to attack another person and think its okay, its called assault, which is against the law. That is why there are so many people have died from violence today, everybody doesn’t want to fight, some kill because they can’t fight. Express yourself keep ur hands to yourself. Jen, sue Nia, take anything and everything you can, she’ll learn, for every situation there are CONSEQUENCES. What is wrong with these women? But notice this one thing, Shaunie just set back and let all that foolishness go on and on and run straight to the bank to cash in on all this foolishness. When will enough be enough.
