Basketball Wives Recap: Jen And Ev Hug It Out!
On the Basketball Wives part two reunion, we saw the unthinkable. Evelyn and Jen actually hugged it out. When the host brought up that the two were going to take a polygraph test, I thought it was stupid but after watching the episode, it was actually genius!
I feel like they left a lot of things out in the reunion. They focused mainly on 4 people Kesha, Tami, Ev, and Jen! If anything they should have had a part 3 reunion! The drama between Kesha and Tami comes up again and Susie gets caught in the middle as always. Susie claims she did not instigate the argument . Susie is constantly stuck in the middle so it must be annoying that she is constantly blamed for instigating things.
Jen says Nia still hasn’t apologized about slapping her in the face. Some of the ladies are annoying that Jen filed charges against Nia only because they used to be good friends. Nia obviously hasn’t apologized because Jen threw a lawsuit in her face so she’s probably real bitter right now!
The polygraph results: the moment we were all waiting for! We find out that both Jen and Ev lied about a few things! Turns out they both really miss their friendship to each other. Embarrassingly Jen is jealous about Ev and Chad’s relationship! The ex best friends hugged it out and I could see they really did miss each other!
Don’t be to sad everyone, Basketball Wives is a go for another season! Will you be watching season 5 of Basketball Wives? Thoughts on the reunion?!

My thoughts after watching the reunion , Tammy hasn’t changed one bit , still a ghetto , trashy , bully imo , and still making excuses for her behavior. I really believe that Ev and Jen miss each other , and yes , unlike Tammy , I believe Ev actually learned something from watching this season and is truly sorry for her behavior and wants to change. I was hoping that they’d ask Kenya how she could stay in that room full of fish , the smell had to be extremely disgusting.
Ya! They never addressed the fish, and all the nasty comments EVERYone made about Jen. Tami is apologizing now to Jen and now I know why. Cuz her and Ev made amends. She is soooo foul! Can’t stand Tami, although I really do feel sorry for her. Shaunie was RIDIculous. She has NO right to tell Jen what she should do regarding Nia – like Jen said – SHE wasn’t the one who was hit, it’s not Shaunie’s place to “advise” her – was as ridiculous as Tami telling her that she was a bully and that she herself isn’t one. And although John Salley did make up for his horribly biased hosting skills by getting Jen and Ev to make up or at least begin the process, he was awful to everyone except Shaunie, Ev and barely addressed how hideous Tami is. Instead he picked on the girls who have been picked on the whole season – Kesha, Jen and Royce. What a douche.
I think the exact same thing…well said.That host is such a jackass..plus what was up with Shaunie maybe leaving the show…like anyone would miss her.
More like.. Like Shaunie would really leave the show…pish. She was not going anyway. She was hustling to save her “rep”
Remember they filmed the reunion before the aired the Tahiti trip, so Tami wasn’t getting blasted just yet. Had they filmed the reunion afterward she would of been less on her high horse accusing others of bullying.
I’m pretty sure the reunion was taped the week after Tammy flipped in Tahiti. Because I saw tweets of them on set so Tammy was feeling the heat by then.
I want to see Shaunie and her beautiful daughter bitch slapped on national tv. I added her daughter because somewhere Jenn has a mother. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander Shaunie. Then tell me if you like it. LET ME GET ONE THING STRAIGHT–the butt scum bum that bitch slapped Jenn is not her friend and never was her friend. if butt scum bum were a mature adult, she would have let the storm blow over then addressed the issue like a real decent woman but noooooooooooooooo she got cameras rolling so she goes all out–she needs to be served some justice.
Supposedly Susie really didn’t tell Tami about what Kesha said. Shaunie alledgedly did.
do you remember after Tami took Keisha’s bag and they were in the van on the way back to the resort Tami told Susie not to feel bad or guilty for what she told her. I think that meant Susie did say something to Tami.

You can tell that behind the psycho madwoman that Eve is, she is actually a softee when it comes to her emotions for people she truly loves. Makes sense why she kept on dragging this beef. She really loves Jen and was hurt by their fallout. I hope they can move past this…

Her comment to Shaune Snake was that she could have gone off on Tami, the insult is this..she is aboveTami’s kind of behavior and would never stoop so low to Tami’s level by engaging herself in such a low-life manner with Tami. You see how unintelligent these women are? Tami doesn’t realize the depth of the insult she just knows she wants to fight about it.

They can not stand Jen and she was silly for taking a poly test. Shaunie calls Nia popping Jen in the face an “accident” Did she slip and slap her hand in Jen face accidently???? Jon Sally slanted that entire reunion toward the BIGGEST bullies. Eve Tami and Shanie. It was pathetic. Tami coul baerly contain her rage when Keesha was speaking back to her and the audience CLAPS when she says she was trying to get her to stand up for herself and she took the puse becasue Keesha left it ther????? WHAT are we idiots? Get the eff outta here.
Yup, it was so slanted and I kinda think out of all of them, I hate Shaunie the most. Tami is a psychopath and so is Ev and Shaunie exploits them – they are her ratings gold. She has ZERO integrity.

I honestly want to see these girls do well. I love me some Shaunie, Ev, and even Tami. I just hope that they will come back next season with a new vibe to the show. Drama is always entertaining, but know when you’re taking it too far.
I am glad that Ev and Jen hugged…hopefully they will repair their friendship and move on. Tami needs to own that she bullied Kiesha and needs to continue her anger management to correct that knee-jerk reaction of hers to someone talking about her behind her back. You’re 40…get over it. Kiesha- Honey…if you can’t stand up for yourself or resort to running when confronted by someone maybe you need to stop talking about what you could’ve done and stop talking about people behind their back. You are a grown women….if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing.

That whole thing was a set up. Jen would have looked awful if she did not reciprocate the hug but she did not look too enthused. Shaunie wants the law suit and the neg press to go away so she can keep making bank on other people bad behavior. That whole franchise sickens me. Of course there is a season 5 that what the whole sham of a reunion was all about.
I agree! I haven’t watched there reunion 1 and 2, and I don’t want to because I don’t to hear Ev and Tami try to say they’ve changed and they weren’t being malice and was hurt and blah blah blah! From what I’ve read… Jenn should PROCEED TO SUE because she got hit, dammit! Shaunie should stay out of it because she’s the instigator, and she pretends she’s not in the drama when she enforces it. Jenn should be careful getting close to Ev. I don’t trust her ONE BIT! She’ll bite Jenn again in the future, and Jenn will be sorry. Stay away from them fake asses…

I thought it was kind of lame? I was a little annoyed with Shaunie. I like what she said to her spiritual advisor, but she should have thought that season 1. She did nothing to to undo damages down to people physically , verbally, or relationship wise. Tammi was fake as f**k to me. Suzie was so irrelevant there .. I think Jen is jealous because at the time when Ev was helping her decide to divorce, and everything Jen went through, Ev went and start hooking up with Chad, Jen was like WTF thanks for ditching me! Think she was jealous because Chad kind of took Ev away from her when they were just starting to enjoy being single together. Keep the charges going on NIA, send the message to all others that this shall not be tolerated on our tv’s anymore!!

Tammi really needed to change. She is a bully but, does not see it. She has to transform or, she does not need to be on the show. It’s not good TV when everyone around her is scared of her. I think she needs to go. I understand that she has been through somethings, but, he personality is too dominate. And when I say everyone, I mean everyone is scared to call her out or disagree with her because they know if will be an arguement. Yes, Keisha also needs to go, her personality is too soft. She can not have with this group of girls and clearly does not belong on the show. However, she knew what she was signing up for…she saw the last 3 episodes. Royce, go..please go. I can’t take it. Shaunie, is not good TV…plays it too safe. Sorry, but, Jen, Eve, and Kenya are the only three that I want to see back. Who is Suzie? I don’t have a problem with her but, who is she on a personal level. She seems to just be a buffer between the ladies. Boaring. Even Keisha taking us to her home town, and Kenya showing us her music grind and wanting to be a pop star(even though she is 40) was a little interesting. But Suzie, who is she?
oh, I definitely wouldn’t go around Tami without a taser or some weapon and then I’d go into the witness protection program.
Suzie is just a shyte talker that goes around in the group telling on anyone. I am surprised nobody has slapped her and fixed her jaw. She sure starts trouble. If she is always in “the middle” of things is because she doesn’t mind her business. In reality, she is pointless. Doesn’t have a story at all.
Tami is one of those women that will have to learn the hard way. She is going to pull the crap with someone and they are going to wear her out!
Kenya has physco (sp?/) eyes. She can exit to. Why is the fish scene not addressed anywhere. Cuz it was MORE mean girl behavior that Shaunie was a part of so they cut it reallllll quick when they saw the back lash of Tami and Ev and the boycotts. To me the reunion was appalling and transparant and show you even MORe what that franchisee is all about. The bullies got a major pass and the bullied where made to feel silly and petty for being victims.
The fish scene was also a bullying tactic in my eyes! Down right disgusting , grown women acting like that on tv, and your right- no one said nada!!! That reunion was a waste of 2 shows!

Can’t co sign on that. Even more reason to be in your girls life to add some balance. I do believe Tami loves her girls but does not always think like a mother .. as in how does/will my behavior effect my kids. Lets be real folks. Wow, that was big to see Ev and Jenn hug, I hope they can truly come back together. Of all of these ladies, these 2 seemed to be truly the closest – the rest seem just for filming.
Agree with the comments that the reunion seemed slanted towards Shaunie, the producers and bullies.

Did you guys see this at VH-1? Tami was interviewed before the reunion. She says she hadn’t talked to Kesha since filming (no surprise as she doesn’t seem to get that she is too mean), but the surprise was that she hadn’t talked to Royce! Tami seems to be a fair weather friend.

ITA Ev is queen bitch with or w/o Tami. (in her mind). I would have liked to see Jen and Ev make a sincere effort to make amends but that was forced and not real to me. I just can’t buy that it was a coincidence that Ev’s booked dropped the VERY day of the reunion show. I too would like to know that back story of Royce and Shaunie.
