Basketball Wives Recap: Evelyn Isn’t Over It
Oh those Basketball Wives! They continue to keep me entertained. Monday’s episode begins with Jennifer and Kenya joining the rest of the ladies to Tahiti! Almost immediately Ev, Tami, and Shaunie see Jen hanging out on her patio bungalow. Jen spends the day alone while all the ladies are confused and questioning if she’ll come out and join them. I don’t think Jen should have came on the vacation since she doesn’t like any of the ladies but I know she did because it’s a free trip so she was probably thinking ‘why not?!’
Tami and Shaunie go to see Kenya to find out if Kenya stayed in the room where they hid dead fish everywhere as a prank. They confirm how smelly it is and act shocked that she would stay in there. My thoughts: There are pranks that are funny and than there are pranks that aren’t funny. That prank wasn’t funny in any way. It’s disrespectful to the hotel and childish on so many different levels. Kenya leaves her room and confronts Evelyn about getting a bottle thrown at her. Evelyn apologizes and Kenya goes into discussion on the difference between “loose” and “hoe.” She than explains that a mother can call you loose but can’t call you a hoe. I don’t think Kenya is normal. People need to stop questioning if she’s crazy. She is crazy! That’s that.
Crazy Kenya goes over to get Jen. Jen finally comes out and is joined by Tami and Shaunie. That’s when Evelyn walks up to talk to Jen. Evelyn’s approach was good but Jen doesn’t want to hear it. That made Evelyn mad and when Evelyn gets mad she starts saying stupid things and blabbing away. Jen walks away which makes Ev even more angry and causes Ev to reveal that Jen was sleeping with men while she married. Ev isn’t over it and she won’t be until they actually truly talk.
I haven’t mentioned Susie because I wanted to wait till I was finished with the recap. It sucks to be in the position that Susie is in where she’s always in the middle but I don’t think it’s smart that she constantly goes back and forth and tells each lady what the others said. That’s just my take on it. Thoughts on the episode? Will Ev and Jen be able to talk without going at each other? Do you think Susie causes more drama?

I seriously love this show so much because of how absolutely absurd it is. I don’t think it’s even 50% real but I continue to watch because it is so utterly fascinating. I just wish Royce would have come on the trip so she could make her ugly crying face throughout the whole trip….

Looks like Kenya came to Tahiti to kick someones butt. I couldn’t tell if she was in a trance or under some evil spell–must have been constipated. Ev must be tired of fighting, oops my bad, she still wants to fight Jen, throw Jen under the bus, insult Jen.
Jen is winning. Ev needs a hobby besides trashing Jen, it so old and so obvious she wants to hurt Jen. I am not opposed to Jen and Ev having a convo about their issues as long as Ev can manage her temper. I think if she’d approached Jen alone the result may have been different.
Susie when these women get together without you, they will start putting 2+2 together. Susie is the biggest bone carrying dog and she really is in the middle and cause of the drama, Susie keep your mouth shut, just zip it.
Shaunie, your new image is that of a snake, make yo paper, no integrity needed, right.
Ev why does it matter to you what Jen does, why is Jen fake because she has an image of beauty to uphold to sell her beauty products? If you asked me Ev, this would be my suggestion–I would write Jen a heart felt note and ask her to please talk to me just once and I won’t bother you again. Oh, but I think that bridge burned several episodes ago.
Apparently Crazy Tami thinks Nia was justified in slapping the hell out of Jen as Jen asked her to slap her–Tami, Tami, Tami–I read of the recent flack you received in response to your tormenting Kesha–you deserve it and more too, forgive me, but you are dumb as a rock and most foul. Tami you will never get decency and self-respect, and whatever sympathy I had for your childhood issues guess what a lot of us survived and learned to overcome our issue to have a better life, we moved on meanwhile you use your issues as a crutch and justification for being a dumb arse moron.
Really what is the difference between Ev and Jen, Ev says Jen’s assistant wrote a nasty blog about her relationship with Ochostinko, I think when Ev’s assistant slapped the shit out of Jen that evened the score.

Ev has been relentless in her attacks on Jen and she wants to talk to Jen.
What is this loyalty about between grown women, everyone who knows me knows I am loyal to me and me alone. That way when you get mad at me you won’t blurt out that I slept with some other man while I was married.

I gotta agree with you on your assessment here. I tell you something though, say what you wanna say, that damn Kenya Bell was gonna beat your girl Ev’s ass, and that bitch knew it. You noticed she got that apology out that over inflated Botox infused mouth of hers. LOL. I must say, I 100% totally agree with Jennifer at this point, if I were her I’d really be enjoying it. Jennifer made Evelyn look like a psycho manic, and this time she didn’t even have to open her mouth and speak. OMG. Get over Ev, even if Jennifer screwed a million men, she has enough common sense, decency, self respect, home training, no daddy issues (what ever it is you want to call it), to not do on television with all of America and a daughter watching. So once again, Jennifer trumps Evelyn.
To me, Evelyn didn’t really give an apology. She said something to the effect of “what do you want me to do, apologize? Say I’m sorry for throwing the bottle? When I’m angry I black out… you need to watch what you say.” Maybe I missed it though. I don’t feel bad for Suzie at all. She PUTS herself in the middle of the mess. She runs her mouth then sits there looking stupid when hell breaks loose. She can be friends with both without stirring the pot and that seems to be what she does all the time. Just like she did with the Kesha situation. She ran back and told what was said then talked about how bad she felt for her.. she was part of the reason it happened! Anyway, I don’t necessarily blame Jennifer for not hanging with them right away. She could have told them she was there out of common courtesy but it’s obvious whose side Tami and Shaunie are on so why feel the need to be all in their face? Just because they went on the trip together doesnt mean they HAVE to hang out. That’s just my opinion though. I think if Evelyn & Jennifer could talk w/o yelling, cursing & have 3 instigators, they could at least resolve some things and move on. Shaunie, Tami & Suzie do NOT help the situation AT ALL.
Yeah, Evelyn’s apology was the type of language that abusers use – ‘don’t make me mad, don’t get in my way; you caused me to abuse you.’ Very strange to watch.

To all that are so tire of watch the show. Do you have a remote. There are a whole lot of other channels. It sounds a little crazy to me to continue to watch something you are sick of, bored with, hate the show, etc… You keep calling these women stupid but how stupid are you. They are getting paid and as long as you watch, blog and talk about them they will be on. You make them all very relevant and very rich. So keep watch and complaining. Don’t be so surprised when they get renewed again. As far as Royce and Jen being so mature. Money is more important than there safety if you listen to them. They know it is all scripted or they would be gone too.

Evelyn is the one obsessed with Jen. She is always fighting with everyone and her usual line is I don’t give a f— but clearly she does or everything Jen does wouldn’t be so important to her. She’s mad that she told the world that she’s a ho and aired her own dirty laundry so now she wants to do the same to Jen. Suzie is disgusting because she will do anything to stay in with these girls and they just use her to go back and forth. Kenya had Evelyn and the rest of them scared and I’m glad she had them freaked out because they picked at her over nothing. Tami was a lot better to watch when she and Evelyn were enemies because now she’s so desperate to take Jen’s place that she agrees and condones everything Evelyn does. For the record Tami, saying I wish you would does not mean that Nia had a right to slap her. Evelyn needs to wake up and realize that she is the start of the drama not Jen.
I wish suzie would just go somewhere. kick rocks. She’s not a fan favorite and no one cares about her. She’s pathetic and weak. They need to replace her.
Love everyone’s posts. I think it’s funny to watch this season and how Ev, Tami, Shaunie and most of Suzie think they are SOOOO justified and they are so cool and right – they must’ve truly believed that we the audience would be like, YA, we hate Jenn, blah blah. All their pranks and bullying – like we’d be cheering along right with them. And Tami – OMG. She’s always wanted to replace Jen – from her saying in the beginning that she’s nothing w/o Ev, etc. She’s not fooling anyone trying to act “neutral” and neither is Shaunie. We can see it, Jen can see it. Their little, “oh, it’s so rude that Jen won’t come out, gosh, I don’t know what her problem is” is so fkn ridiculous and so obvious to the audience. They are clueless. Or at least they were clueless during filming. Now watching and seeing audience reaction they may be getting a clue but they will stay “hood” I’m sure and not admit any wrongdoing whatsoever. All I can do is laugh at these idiots

Evelyn is learning a lesson about true friendship. Sometimes you get mad at each other but if you are friends you don’t take it to the point of no return. Now Evelyn wants closure but closure to Jenn was Evelyn and her friend hitting Jenn, and now she wants nothing to do with Evelyn. This season two women were bullied that don’t fight, Kesha who just broke down and made the others ( I don’t think Tami get’s it and is only apologizing because of the backlash she got) see what happens to the people they bully. Than there is Jenn who won’t fight physically but will stand up for herself with words and if you push her in the courtroom.
Evelyn, Shaunie and Tami, need to really get a grip on life and MOVE ON!! I applaud Jennifer for being a lady, I applaud Kenya for not backing down. Susie is an irrelevant individual who has NO backbone and will do ANYTHING to stay a float in the “circle.” I have NEVER seen one individual bring reports back and forth like Susie…. and then in the midst of the chaos act like she has NO clue as to why things are the way they are.
Tami needs to look back a few seasons and remember that she was in Jennifer’s position with Evelyn and now she can’t keep her nose out of Evelyns ass……smh. It’s disgusting!!!

“Ev” swears everybody is just dying to be her friend and is affraid of her bunkass with her manufactured drama. Like Jen said it was already established that they aren’t friends. “Ev” has already attacked her a couple times physically. I don’t blame Jen for not wanting to “talk and get it all on the table”. Go pound sand B#TCH! NOW you want to talk??…just miss me with that fake BS! I love when Chad “jokes” that he’s only with her for her “A$$ and $$”…behind every joke is some truth and since he has $$ well you get the picture *cough HO cough*.

Here’s what I think about all the drama…Tami is a ghetto bully who needs to grow-up, Susie is a snake always snitching, Evelyn is just as bad as tami an needs to quit acting like her shit don’t stank, Royce is cool but she’s need to let keyshia stick up for herself, keyshia needs to stop being a pushover an grow some guts, Jen girl if your tired of all the drama than stop speaking out about everything an just stay away, kenya is kinda strange but than again who am I to judge, and lastly shaunie girl your not innocent in fact your the ring-leader of this circus.
