Basketball Wives: Evelyn Explains Why She Was Upset By Jennifer’s Comments!
On Monday’s episode of Basketball Wives the ladies got into a fight. No surprise there. Basketball Wives is known for the ladies getting extremly violent towards each other and I don’t agree with it but I guess it’s works for good TV. Jennifer called out her former friend Nia who is also Evelyn’s assistant for having a 2 bedroom apartment which then made Nia slap her in the face! Literally! Evelyn blogs about what went down and explains why she was upset with the comment Jennifer made!
Let’s get right into the confrontation because there are a few things that need to be cleared up. First off, I had no intentions on saying anything during filming at the racetrack. Jen and Nia met through me and built their own relationship. Nia thought that she and Jen were still cool, however Jen began to distance herself from Nia for no apparent reason. The reason why I was so hurt and affected by Jen’s comment is because, she was the same person shackin up in that 2-bedroom apartment when she and Eric were separating! Jen would literally take the ferry to Nia’s house because she didn’t have a car. At that time, Nia helped Jen and opened her doors to her when she didn’t have heat in her apartment. How can you go from making Nia one of your good friends, the person you would confide in, take vacations with, sleep at her house when you had no where else to turn and then treat her like shit?! It’s one thing to have a fall out with someone and go your separate ways, yet it’s another to go in on someone’s livelihood and attack their home and income especially when they’ve extended themselves to you out of the kindness of their hearts. I would never attack how someone lives or how much money they make! Where you live or the size of your bank account doesn’t define who you are. Jen’s exact comment was, “I’m not going to sue you, because you ain’t got shit! You live in a two bedroom apartment in Harlem.” Wow. So, I guess you are so much better than all the people who live in two bedroom apartments? I guess you are better than people who live in the South too? Remember? You would rather be bougie than country. What’s wrong with people who live in North Carolina, the South, Harlem, or anywhere for that matter?
Regardless I don’t think Nia should have slapped Jennifer and I don’t think Jennifer always needs to bring back everything and call out someone on what they have or where they live or how much money they are making. Evelyn also shouldn’t have got on the table. I get she was mad but come on girls, violence is never the answer ! Thoughts on what Ev had to say?

IJS Tami was able to hit two ppl before security jumped in(not condoning violence, but IJS). Ev makes a big scene, knowing that security would jump in. All she did was make comments about you, than she stopped being your friend if she doesnt want to be your friend…”MESSAGE” move on.

I think Eve should really see what a jail cell is like for her pretty ass always wanting to beat people up. We all know she is grateful security is there to hold her back. If her or her assistant where anyone else they would be in jail for assult. Dont’ really care what jen said to piss you off. point is is you can’t get over it….

After re-reading your statement, I suppose you mean the show has set Black women back. I still disagree, the show is comprised of loud, violent, wanna be’s of a variety of races. If anything, they’ve set themselves back…they certainly don’t represent women or a particular race as a whole. Also, if people behaving badly sets their race back, then we could say RHNJ has set Italians back, RHNY has set Jews, Italians, & even a royal family family back, RHOC has set blonde bimbos back, Beverly Hills has set White women back…I could go on, but the point is these women make fools of themselves but they are in no way representative or the prototype of the race that they are.

It does not matter what Ev says about it, it was not her place to fight, or chime in. Im over all this physical drama. She always has something to say, and she acts and feels that she is the only one entitled to say what she wants when she wants. She has fought with just about every person that has been on the show. Nothing, no words as grown women justifies this nasty behavior and foul mouthing. I think she knew what she was doing bringing Nia there, she knew there was beef between them. And seeing how Nia acts, and she associates with Ev, I would distance myself also! Who wants to keep the constant drama in their life when they are trying to move on?
And what’s wrong with driving a 2006 Bentley Evelyn? She made a slick comment on Twitter about Jennifer driving a 6 year old Bentley. I don’t agree at all with what Jennifer said but it was obviously out of anger, after being attacked so viciously by Nia in true BBW style. I do think Jennifer can be a boogie broad but Evelyn can be a nasty one as well so there’s no need for her to act like she’s so innocent or whatever.

Ev is classless. She doesn’t want to fight unless there is a crowd. Ev and tami have not meet there match yet. One day they gonna buck up on the wrong woman. That woman aint gonna pay with them. I dont condone violence, but they need to be taught a lesson.

i think im the only person, who took the comment about the “2 bedroom apartment” as if jen wasnt trying to dog her. IMO, it seemed like Nia was wanting those keys back so bad, like as if Jen was going to go into her home and steal something. like she lived in a mansion or a huge lake front. Thats why I think she said ” you stay in a 2 bedroom apartment” its not that serious that i still have your keys. Since Ev and Nia are so close, I hope Ev helps her homie out on the attorney fees
