Aviva Drescher And Ramona Singer Get Into It On Twitter! Ramona Calls Out Aviva’s Father!

August 7, 2012 | By | 70 Replies Continue Reading

Uh Oh. These two will probably never get along! It all started when Ramona tweeted Andy Cohen saying, “Ask George if he acted the way he does now around women even while he was married.” As some of you know, George was married to Aviva’s mother and she sadly passed away. Aviva describes the relationship her mother and father had as very loving. I think it’s silly Ramona has now decided to call out George when she was all for him on the Miami trip!

The comment upset a lot of viewers including Aviva who thought Ramona just went to far bringing up her mother’s memory. After all the backlash, Ramona defended herself by saying, “George was married twice. It was never my intention to disrespect or ‘muddy’ her mother’s memory. Ramona also accussed Aviva of having a “thing” for her ex. That’s when Aviva finally fought back saying “As much as Mario still has a thing for my sister in law Ginjer. Did you all know that Mario was in love with my sister in law once? Does Mario still have a thing for Ginjer?”

Oh snap! I have a feeling it’s only going to get worse..regarding George: I personally think everyone needs to lighten up. I find him to be hilarious and he’s only joking around half the time plus all the girls were down for his jokes and thought it was finally when they were in Miami. Love how they now are changing there tone! Do you think Ramona went to far?!

Aviva needs to lighten up. She can dish it out but can’t take it. Her father is a pig. If I never see him on TV again it’ll be too soon.

    • Say What?? says:

He is so GROSS! Alittle flirty is cute but he looks like a dirty old man who would rub his junk on anyone whowould allow it. Its disgusting lol

      • MissVIgyal says:

The thing is is that Ramona was huggig him and laughing and defending him even. Now that things are bad between her and aviva she wants to sling mud.

        • NYDeb123 says:

True. I guess Jill was right when she said she heard rumors in her circle of friends who she knew before she joined the show.

        • Say What?? says:

I just finished the episode where they had Avivas party so i’m still behind. But him telling his daughter.. “if you were not my daughter would hit it” or whatever he said.. that was grosssss! I cant believe they didnt edit that out. lol

  2. I definitely do, but then I really can’t stand Crazy Eyes anyway, so I’m not objective. Ramona was letting him rub her and drool over her in her swimsuit (pic above) in Miami but I guess once she saw the episode, she got embarrassed and decided she needed to start clutching her pearls and acting indignant. Please. I’m kinda glad mild-mannered Aviva, who was letting Ramona boss her around about getting her leg wet, is finally speaking up. #my2cents

    • Daisy says:

If Aviva can deal with an obscene dirty old man like her father, someone like Ramona who is outspoken should be easy to ignore or silence. I don’t believe Aviva is a wallflower who can’t speak up for herself at all.

Ramona tries to get along with everybody and join in the fun. It was clear as time went on that Aviva’s dad wasn’t just joking around but was seriously disturbing and extremely vulgar. That’s when the fun and games ended.

  3. MissVIgyal says:

Sorry but ramona sat there and never said a word and even stood up for George when aviva said his cheating ways were no good. She is so fake and keeps mental tabs on people so she can sling dirt at them later.

    • michers says:

Dont a lot of people do that? It may not be what some adults like, but many do that and sling later,if needed.

      • MissVIgyal says:

I don’t know many people that do that and i find it really fake. If you have a problem say it then. Don’t let it manifest into this huge fight because maybe once you talk about it it turns out that it was a misunderstanding. When you hold it in it becomes worse than it really is. Plus Ramona in the last episode was standing up for George when aviva was actually calling him out for being a cheater.

        • michers says:

MissVIgyal- I get what you mean, but as far as these reality shows, I see people do it here more often then not! And I am no fake and I do not operate that way but I see it more and more. Im sure things happened that changed some stances along the way, as we do not see everything! Even though we may not like that in our lives, it happens .

          • MissVIgyal says:

Agreed 100% that reality shows are different than real life because they have to make the show enjoyable for us and keep us watching. All the editing too we never really know what transpired so in the end you r right that what people on these shows do. I just would hate to be on the receiving end of one of those arguments lol

          • michers says:

            OMG, me too !!

  4. Totally agree that George is gross. I didn’t think he was cute at all.

Guess we’ll have to agree to disagree about Ramona. She just pushes buttons in me that I can’t unpush, always has. ;)

  5. Say What?? says:

Im weeks behind on NY! I just finished the party Sonja threw for Aviva. Im really not feeling heather. I dont like how she treats Ramona and i think Luann is a straight asshole for setting up Ramona on the wine tasting thing.RUDE! I think they should have kept Alex and Simon. Their awkwardness was “fun” drama.

  6. Cajsa says:

I think George is loathsome, a man without substance, dignity or decency.

  7. plainview sue says:

I think Aviva went too far saying that Mario once had a thing for her sister in law. It could have been decades ago. That was a very low blow. I really liked Aviva in the beginning, but for someone who didn’t want to stoop to the level of the other HW’s, she went far and beyond.

    • Bionic says:

NO she didn’t. Ramona needs to get back what she puts out for once. I would have done the same. FACK her! She has this air that she thinks she can talk smack about everyone else and nothing can be thrown back in her face…

    • T says:

      @plainview sue
I agree about Aviva. I’m not a huge Ramona fan either. But if you go look at “sweet” Aviva’s TL on twitter you’ll see how nice she really is. Ramona is a total nut case but Aviva takes things a bit too far.

  8. SmarterThanUThink says:

I think Aviva bringing up Mario used to being in love with Ginger was a smart move on her part. She is finally speaking up to Ramona, she is tired of her behavior towards her. Ramoana thinks she is always superior to everyone else even when she is wrong she thinks she is right, so she deserves to be put in her place for a change ! As for George, I don’t condone his behavior either, nor do I find it appealing in anyway, & I have a feeling Bravo will either cut his scenes or George will have to change his behavior. At least I hope so.

  9. Jessica says:

Oh gosh people give it up already. Yea Avivas dad is a lil old pervert but gosh there are worse things he can be. Plus he gives good entertainment. Ramona is just mad that george didnt pay her much attention, thats why she told andy to ask him that. What Ramona should be doing is “holding the 5th” LOL

    • “Holding the 5th” should have been the title of the episode. That was GOLD!

    • Say What?? says:

Ok, dont kill me. But i didnt see anything wrong with Ramonas question. I didnt watch wwhl so maybe im missing something.

She asked if he behaved this way when his wife was alive? Lots of old men act this way even married its just considered harmless flirting by an old man obviously out of his league? I would have liked to hear his answer. But I personally didnt realize it was rude to ask such a question?

      • Maru the Cat fka Sharon Lea says:

I didn’t think the question was bad either, heck I wondered the same thing!

But, I think the fact that it came from Ramona is what is bothering her. Aviva and her aren’t getting along. It’d be like if Caroline asked Andy to ask Theresa a question on WWHL.

      • michers says:

Say What- me either! Call her what you want, but she is not a bullshitter that Ramona! Goes right in for it . I think she hit a nerve with Aviva, more to that story of her Pops! Here Aviva is trying to pimp out her Dad and Sonja to each other, but gets mad at Ramona? Does anyone else think Aviva is a poop?

        • Daisy says:

I didn’t think it was rude to ask the question either. It’s not like Aviva’s father is grieving. He’s clearly moved on and while I don’t fault him for that, I do find him creepy, vulgar and obscene. There is nothing funny about the guy or his delivery.

If he had a modicum of class and dignity he wouldn’t be such low life disgusting pervert of an old man who literally made me feel sick.

      • WarOnTara says:

I thought it was rude because it seems to be implying that he cheated on his late wife. Maybe she didn’t mean it that way, and maybe she meant to ask if he was just enjoying the single life a lot after he lost his wife of however many years. But if that’s what she meant, she should have worded it more carefully.

        • michers says:

Maybe he did cheat on her and thats why Aviva is so touchy on tarnishing her Mom’s memory! You don’t just get that perverted overnight.

          • WarOnTara says:

Maybe, but it’s not really Ramona’s business to bring it up like that. She was basically like “Ask George if he cheated on his dead wife!” And I don’t get why everyone keeps saying Aviva is worried about tarnishing her mom’s memory…if he cheated on her mom, then that doesn’t say anything bad about her. It was just a bit of a rude question, but I expect that from Ramona lol.

And for the record, I found George incredibly gross and would never want to be around him. I also wouldn’t humor him and fawn all over him, or ask him about his relationships…past or present.

          • Daisy says:

            I agree with you michers!

          • michers says:

No it does not say anything bad about Viva in re to her Mom.. However I noticed with this lady that she has been very wishy washy and plays games. From the second episode until the present, she is flip flopping on everything. So weird to me that she is picking all these fights with Ramona- I am having trouble getting past that, when she went out of her way to befriend Ramona . One would think that she would put her pops in check instead of constantly humiliating herself and him on tv, and being so petty with someone who’s butt she kissed!

          • michers says:

I just read somewhere, maybe on here that He did cheat and Aviva has talked about it??? So why does she need to be spiteful about Ramona asking a question? Oh, because she needs a plot to stay on the show!! I get it…

        • bbc says:

I agree, WarOnTara. To drag a deceased loved one into an argument is low, even for Pinot loving Ramona.

    • SmarterThanUThink says:

Worse than a pervert ? What the hell are you thinking ? Being a pervert is pretty bad in my book !

    • Skeeter says:

I did not find him entertaining at all. He’s disgusting and any father who says they would bang their own daughter if she wasn’t his daughter is sick. That was classless and uncalled for. He shouldn’t be allowed back on this show period….whether he changes or not. Statements like that can really damage ones character. I’m sure he’s feeling the sting from that comment. It should not have been said at all, along with just about everything else he said. If that were my father, oh nevermind….my father would never say something like that LOL! Plain and simple, he is not cute or ornery, he’s a pervert.

  10. Maru the Cat fka Sharon Lea says:

Did you guys watch WWHL last night?

I thought Nancy Grace was hilarious – especially the way she told George he went too far. She had done her homework and said, ‘You’re a good looking man and you’re smart, you went to Stern (?) business school, you don’t need to talk that way!’

And when Aviva said one of the women wore a short skirt and no underwear, Nancy snapped, ‘Don’t blame the victim!’ It embarrassed Aviva.

After Aviva’s above tweet, I wonder if Bravo will somehow try to bring Ginjer on the show to bring the drama.

    • michers says:

They would probably try that Maru. Ramona and Mario have been married for a long time, and I highly doubt Ramona would be threatened! Aviva trying to be spiteful with that just proves what a shmuck I think she really is.

      • Maru the Cat fka Sharon Lea says:

Hey Michers – Ramona might be upset, remember the Morraco trip last year and the psychic’s comments that LuAnn translated? Something about ‘another woman in Mario’s life’ and they passed it off as Avery. But she still had a talk with Mario. So you definitely don’t like Aviva? I am not sure what to make of her yet, but am liking Carole’s cool rock chicness.

        • michers says:

Oh yes, I remember that and I think LuLu was way out of line, like she was rubbing it in Mona’s face, very un-classy! Ya know, I tried to give Aviva a liking, but Im losing interest. I have seen her be wishy washy and cause trouble, she was totally up Ramona’s butt then in an instant she is like this? Don’t get it! She even brewed the trouble up between Heather and Ramona more about the “uninviting” to London. Im noticing lately that people are frequently brewing up more drama between those 2.. what up with that?? I am totally liking Carol :) Then she pimps her pops out to Sonja, but Ramona cannot say anything about him being the way he is? I think Aviva is a little bit troubled, don’t know?

  11. michers says:

I cannot condone Grandpa George, because it would be like condoning Rich Wakile. A perv is a perv is a perv, no matter what the age. I love how its ok for some to do and say what they want, but when its Ramona, all hell breaks loose! Aviva has been a trouble maker all season.. One minute she is up Ramona’s ass, the next she acts like she is going to war with her? I don’t get it! They were all put off by LuLu and her gossiping, but they still kiss her ass? Heather is trying so hard to portray her ” coolness” and frankly Im embarrassed for her. Carole may have touched a nerve with her Indian comment, but she is sick and tired of Lu’s bs, and if someone would have said the opposite to her, it would have been in page 6! UGH.

    • T says:

Wow! You read my mind! Totally agree! I don’t know if you’re on Twitter but Aviva reminds me of JacAss. She goes off the deep end rather quickly & takes things too far. I thought George was pretty icky. I’m not a huge Ramona fan but I totally agree with her about Heather. Can’t stand Heather or LuLu.

    • Daisy says:

      My thoughts exactly michers!

    • MicaBaby says:

I’ve been sick of Luann since day 1. She’s showing her hypocritical behavior. As well as that Heather character.

  12. Skeeter says:

I’m far from a prude, but that guy is a disgusting pig. Any older man that acts like that is a total turnoff to me. Who wants to see that shriveled old thing?

  13. kydnaas says:

Aviva talked about her dad cheating on his ex gf in front of a large group of people eating dinner… which was then shown on tv. Why can’t Ramona ask if he had also cheated on his wife? Ramona did warn Aviva and tried to tell her that bringing up the affair was unnecessary and embarrassing. Aviva made it the world’s business.

Oh and hun, it’s accused.. not accussed!
They changed THEIR tone.. not “there tone”

Just helping you out :) Here’s a link so you know the difference between there and their.

    http://www.alphadictionary.com/articles/english_grammar_style/difference_between_their_there.html

    • rukidding? says:

kydnass, oh so very passive aggressive of you. yeah just trying to help out. sure.

      • kydnaas says:

lol… yeah because I wanna be a blogger and steal her thunder with my grammar rules..

I’ve seen the same mistakes over and over, why not paste a link in order to help her out? If I wanted to be aggressive, I could always anonymously post hate ;)

        • Tracey says:

We all know what she is trying to say. Who cares about petty things like they’re/their/there.

        • rukidding? says:

kydnaas. if you are truly trying to be nice and helpful then i would say that was kind of you. but putting a link and say here’s a link to help you. seemed very nitpicky. nobody likes grammar police especially over simple mistakes. i think roxy already knows what you’re talking about because this isn’t the first time someone mentioned it. one of her articles many people bashed her for it big time. so nice try if it really works.

          • kydnaas says:

            I hope it does work!!

Like you said, it’s happened so many times… that’s why I thought a link to a site that helps was necessary. If comments haven’t worked on ‘simple mistakes’, you have to consider that they aren’t mistakes and that there’s a possibility that the creator of this site doesn’t know the difference between certain words. I don’t understand why people get so offended by that.

  14. Patricia says:

George is do gross!!! he even
are Sonja uncomfortable, so what does that say…i hope they don’t make him a permanent character on RHONY

  15. melinda says:

Aviva’s father’s behavior was atrocious in Miami, but Ramona was all over that man herself. At times, she asked why wasn’t she getting as much attention or as big a hug as Sonja, and it was George who said to her, your husband is here. I don’t understand why a woman their age would let a man fondle them in the first place. Ramona and Sonja have no problem distastefully flirting with others, so yes Ramona taking the time to text Andy and ask that question was highly inappropriate as she was asking if the man cheated on his dead wife. Shame on Ramona for stooping so low, but in my opinion she always has. It was time for Ramona to go when the others went, so to be honest I don’t watch the series, I only happened to see this blog as I also didn’t watch WWHL. Bravo (no pun intended) for Aviva finally dishing it back to Ramona about her sister in law Ginjer. I do think everyone talks about Harry? too much, who cares about him if he is everyone’s ex. However, Ramona is taking her drunk ass to far by her comments and questions. Personally, I do not believe that Mario is faithful to Ramona, never did from the beginning, and that is because of Ramona and her mouth. She should knock it off, as people love to hit back and stick it to a hateful person, and someone might just decide to reveal Ramona’s flaws including any that might be in her marriage.

  16. Dee Johnson says:

Ramona does have characteristics of aspergers syndrome. lack of contact, self absorbed, talks over others often, appears to care less about feelings of others.

  17. Dee Johnson says:

    Lack of eye contact

  18. MicaBaby says:

It was just wrong for Ramona to mention anything about Aviva’s deceased mother – period! It was “mean girl” behavior. People like Ramona believe their ish “don’t stink.” She tries to put on like her marriage is perfect, and I’m 100% sure it isn’t. I don’t care anything about Aviva’s parents’ relationship. If Aviva has come to terms with her father’s behavior following her mother’s death then that’s all that matters. Shame on you Ramona Singer!

  19. bbc says:

Ramona loves dragging the other HWs families into her fight. She attacked Luann’s children and now this. She’s an awful excuse for a human being.
