Well, seeing how Ashley/Ashlee “I Have No Future” Holmes wrote the book on being a shitty human being perhaps she thinks that makes her some kind of expert at spotting others.

It’s your opinion…and I respectfully, absolutely disagree with you. How can you possibly think that Gia Giudice is on the same path as Ashlee Holmes? What we see of the Giudice girls is biased editing. Bravo decided to stick it to Teresa, and her whole family is under fire. But Ashlee? She’s old enough to have been paid by Bravo — and they went easy on her. We didn’t see her underaged drinking/partying in NYC — and more. What we know of her life to date is from her own narrative! She’s a product of bad choices and bad parentingm but old enough to change IF she wanted to do so. If she’s on the payroll and putting her life out for all to see, she’s fair game; UNLIKE the Giudice kids. I’d like to think that Teresa will re-negotiate on behalf of her kids if she stays, and I wonder why Jacqueline chose to use her troubled daughter — assault charge and all — as HER story line?
Another difference is that the Giudice kids have no protection from Bravo, state laws and ultimately, their blindsided parents whereas Ashlee Holmes knowingly consents to her depiction — and doesn’t have a clue that she should care how she comes across. And, she doesn’t care. Comparing these two young ladies, who are 10 years in age apart, is absurd and if I were related to Gia, I’d be offended every time someone tried to make that connection.
I can agree she is young and didn’t have the best childhood, and I hate the “c” word in general. But as for seeing one little girls future turning out similar, if you are referring to Gia, I couldn’t disagree more. I see no similarities between Ashley and Gia. First off at 10 years old, Gia has already proven herself to be a hard worker. Just watching her dance, you can see the effort she puts forth. She was the same way with gymnastics. She even wrote a song (which by the way, I would have downloaded “Milania” before I would download “on Display”). The one time we saw Gia disrespectful was because she saw an adult get away with cheating and was being bullied by people who she knows were hurting her mother. I was proud of her for standing up for what she thought was right. Ashley, on the other hand, involves herself in the drama- physically fighting with Danielle and bashing Danielle and Teresa on Facebook and twitter for absolutely no reason. Neither of them ever did anything to hurt her.
Gia makes straight A’s and is focused with many talents. Ashley can’t even figure out what she wants to do in life.

Teresa’s children have been raised thus far by Tre and her Husband, with Tre being a stay at home Mother up until just recently.
Ashlee, started her life off with her struggling Parents for a little while, and then she was alone with her Mother, who I might add worked where ever. The point is that Jac had to work to support herself and Ashlee, and was therefore left to rely on other people to help with Ashlee.
When Jac married Chris, Ashlee and her life changed, Jac no longer had to work and could stay at home. Ashlee was spoiled rotten by Chris, but, Jac allowed the Manzos to tease and ridicule Ashlee non stop. I think this is the reason we see Ashlee disrespecting Jac so much.
Jac chose not to be there for Ashlee when she needed her the most. It was easier to pawn Ashlee off on Chris and the Manzos, cause Jac didn’t have a clue, she was/is, still immature herself.
I hope that Jac has learned, and is better prepared to parent her sons.
As for Ashlee, you can only blame your Mother for so much, and now as young adult, it is time for you to grow up little girl. The real world is not full of pipe dreams and fantasies. You have to go out there and make your dreams a reality, and face the world as an Adult, and stop expecting everyone else to bail you out. Change your attittude and go out and make something out of your life.
Attitude really does make a big difference in life.
I hate to disagree here because I typically lean toward Teresa. I think she’s been treated herrendously by these women and definitely doesn’t deserve it. The only thing I wanted to take exception with is you say ‘the one time we saw Gia disrespectful’, when if we are really being honest here that was far from the ‘one’ time we have seen Gia act disrespectful. I cringe sometimes seeing the way she talks to her mom. Have always loved them on the show and just wish the dynamic would come together in a way that didn’t make me feel bad for both of them at different times.

It’s funny how ashley always talks her mom up saying how much she loves her and how strong she is (until the cameras role, but that’s another story). Anyways, ashley talks about how much she respects and loves her mom but jacqueline is constantly throwing ashley under the bus, most recently in her blog jacqueline pretty much encourages the viewers to go after, attack ashley to take the heat off of herself. I don’t want to say bad things about ashley because even though technically she is an adult she is still young and clearly gets all her opinions, thoughts from her mom who hasnot been a good example. The saddest part is to see how she follows her mom’s que and attacks teresa after teresa has never spoken ill of her and even stood up for her at times.
Has Asslee — dare I say it — LEARNED something here?? I mean, we all know how much this girl loathes her mother. Yet she says such great things about her these days. Chris Laurita is borderline genius! He ships off the psychotic bitter Aslee to protect his immediate family from having their dirty laundry aired on national television and in the meantime he actually managed to force Asslee to stop telling the world what her mothers real personality is about. I wonder if this is a result of more blackmail. First he took her car away to try to discipline her, when that didn’t work he just packed her sht FOR HER and pushed her into that plane (probably adjusting the seat belt himself!!) hahaha! What did they threaten/bribe the psycho with this time I wonder.

I read on twitter this morning that Ashley’s dad and step mom are still trying to sell their home. The same home that caught fire. The person went on to say that Ashley’s dad and stepmother are still facing charges.

I don’t see anything so terrible in this interview that Ashlee said. So she doesn’t like Teresa, she doesn’t have to, she didn’t go on and on about her. I actually feel sorry for this girl, she IS only 21 and look at the life she had. It seems like it should have been perfect since they had some money later in her life… but please being brought into THAT family, no wonder the girl has no self esteem.
Everyone attacks this girl every chance they get and it only makes her more defensive. If you want to see a child grow and blossom you guide her with love, encouragement and support, you don’t beat her into the ground. Imagine, she was not liked at school, her parents didn’t seem to want her and then she had to take crap from viewers when she was on the show. So much negativity thrown her way… which only makes her more negative. We don’t have to agree with her attitude but can we at least TRY to be a bit supportive of a girl who is trying to find her way while in a negative spotlight.

I don’t disagree with your opinion, and even if I did… doesn’t mean you are not entitled to express it. I just find that sometimes opinions can do more harm than good and if my opinion could be damaging to a young person trying to crawl out of a bad spot then maybe I won’t express it. I just thought maybe the adults on here would realize that perhaps all of the crap we spew against this girl isn’t going to help her and I just ASSUMED that all adults would want to see young people prosper not be buried. I can see why her peers would say these things about her, but full grown women with children, I would think, would have a little more heart. And YES, I am serious. To have JACQUELYN as a MOTHER and CAROLINE as an aunt. To not be blood and be treated like a second class citizen in that Manzo family. To have cousins like Lauren who treat you like you are less then she is. To be bribed with cars and money instead of love, understanding and affection. How many times have I seen Ashley sitting there, happy, smiling and her mom comes in ragging her out for a storyline, to have no one LISTEN to you but only TELL you what to think and feel, to be hummuliated on TV by the hands of your own mother. Whatever, this is not how I was raised and not how I raised my kids. I wouldn’t trade all of the money and possessions Ashlee had for the lack of relationship that she had with her family.
I agree. Jacqueline used her daughter for a storyline – a daughter who the Manzos treat like an outsider and second class citizen because she doesn’t have Laurita blood. There is a good discussion about it on an IMDB thread. Here’s some of what was said:

I also wanted to add that this is the same girl who set up and gloated about a Face Book hate site against someone who had some obvious mental issues.
