AllAboutTRH EXCLUSIVE: Producers Looking For New Housewives For Next Season Of RHONJ!
It’s midway through season 4 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey and that can mean only one thing..producers are getting ready to film next season! But a show insider is telling AllAboutTRH EXCLUSIVELY that they are looking for some change!
“Producers have reached out to Penny Drossos, owner of La Chateau Allure Salon. Penny has made it public that she has an issue with Melissa Gorga. They have also reached out to Teresa’s friend Linda. Linda appeared on the last episode of RHONJ. Heather Robinson was being considered but it looks like producers decided she wasn’t fit for the show!”
The insider adds, “They aren’t for sure in the show but producers are looking into them and have interviewed them! Everyone from Season 4 will be returning but they’ll be just adding new housewives to change it up!”
Well if the whole cast is returning, I’m glad they will be adding new housewives to change it up a little. Who do you want to see joining?!

i consistently fast forward through caroline, jac, kathy, and melissa’s part – they either bore or disgust me.
i really really really cant stand to watch anything with caroline’s children in it. being someone who is a similar age as them who works and supports myself, their entitled laziness makes my skin crawl. YUCK!
Lucy, I do the very same. I get so bored listening to Jacqueline’s mother/daughter drama. Caroline’s adult kids. I record first, then watch so I can pass the boring.
At first I was shocked that Jax isn’t being let go for her literally breaking her contractual obligations and also spilling much of this season before it’s showing. And I wanted Chucky and her Insane Clown Posse of a family to be gone too. But you know what, maybe someone in Bravo is alot more intelligent than what we think. They keep Jax because they know she and Chris are going through a very bad lawsuit which from the looks of it they have the goods on them. If they couldn’t get Joe and Teresa being foreclosed on and there things sold at auction maybe they are waiting to see it done to Jax and Chris.
With Chucky aka Caroline and her posse, they may know a few things that has been rumored off and on over the seasons. And that one, the Brownstone is mortgaged to the hilt multiple times and the reason why Caroline is “wanting to move” from her franklin lakes home to a smaller one is that they can’t afford it anymore. Another is that Albert (possibly Chris also if the rumors are true) mistresses are wanting to speak out.
And they also know that BLK isn’t doing so hot and they want to capture that also. And with the financial troubles and major lawsuit and federal issues on Joe Gorga (asbestos in his buildings). It’s no wonder they want Penny, she knows all about Melissa and Joe and alot of people. And the reason why the Robinsons didn’t work out is what I commented on before, THEY HAVE NO MONEY. They just got out of bankruptcy last year and he had more liabilities than assets and he lost everything along with her. Getting on the show was their ticket to a money.

Another thing that Chris and Jax need to think about on top of the possibility of federal prosecution of illegal bankruptcy of a company is the fact did they pay taxes on there ill gotten money they received. If not, they will owe the IRS millions.
I’ve been thinking along the same lines. It wouldn’t make sense to bring on Teresa’s friends only to have the people who have been abusing her leave the show. If Penny is being brought on, it is specifically because she has dirt on Melissa and is tired of the way she treats Tereesa. If Melissa is gone, what’s the point of having Penny on?
Jac breaking her contract by not showing up at the reunion was something that the producers surely didn’t take lightly. They had two choices: either fire her or punish her for her actions. If she stays on the show, you know it’s to punish and humiliate her. As for Caroline and her family, I think the producers finally see the amount of hatred people have for her and realize viewers no longer will watch their star (Teresa) be treated like crap by them. Hopefully, they’re going to give the viewers what they want and turn the tables on them all.

in my opinion, after low ratings of Ny they will keep both Caroline and jac. they will try to phase them out ala Taylor Armstrong. I think Kathy will be the only one they consider firing. Melissa and Teresa wont be going anywhere. as much as I dislike Melissa her and Teresa are the show!
I really think it will be funny to watch Caroline get phased out. hopefully with some added cast members they will cut her children out completely which will leave her no story line and they will fire her s6!
I’m going to agree with Buck Henry. I think if Caroline is on season 5, I’ll watch because I think the tides of love between Bravo and Caroline are going to change. I think it’s Melissa, Kathy and Caroline’s turn to go down.
Melissa isn’t the show at all. Sorry have to disagree with you there. Melissa needs to go however if penny comes on it sure will be interesting to watch melissa get back what she’s been shoveling to teresa this whole time. Guys remember that Bravo needs to have high ratings for big advertisers thats how they make the big bucks and keep the shows going. I agree they need to drop the worst of them all and thats caroline and her weird family. This last episode was VERY ENLIGHTENING, and I believe held crucial
info in figuring this all out. A viewer below wrote a very long blog
questioning why anyone would question Caroline and I can absolutely
address it. Yes, ALL of the other women have a problem with Teresa,
she’s fighting with EVERYBODY, but it’s because EVERY WOMAN on this show
has an agenda to ruin Teresa so there is room for their success. We’ve
watched it like a roadmap! It was a dumb plan, and ruthless to boot. The
viewer asked “if all the women have a problem with Teresa, how can ALL
the women be wrong?’ That’s just the new marching orders because they
have been revealed. I’ll turn it around, if ALL the viewers, about 95%
have figured out these women’s motives, how can ALL the viewer’s be
wrong? Listen, all of that is NOTHING compared to what we just
learned. Caroline made a giant error this last episode. And she revealed
HERSELF! She has been feeding the very rag magazines she has accused
Teresa of, and here’s how we know: It’s plain as day, and there IS NO
OTHER EXPLANATION. I can’t believe these blogs aren’t
saying this, but “twitter” sure as heck is. The boards are “fuming” with
the following info: Last month, “someone” gave the rag magazines the
story that “Teresa was hoping Joe would go to jail, so she could write a
book and make money” Last Month! There were about ten articles in the
ten different rag magazines (the very magazines that all the women say
“Teresa uses” to get info out in.) They all had the exact same five
quotes saying that “Teresa is hoping Joe goes to jail so she can write a
book about the strength it takes to overcome this.” Go look them up!
They were everywhere and started a slew of viscous blogs at Teresa
questioning her motives by cruel, shock bloggers. ALL of the articles
had the same source telling these magazines that Teresa planned on
writing a book. And they were all the same quotes- and the same source-
“a close family friend.” Well, on this last episode, Caroline told us in
the exact same words on her talking head’s bit, verbatim actually, what
these rag magazines were saying, again, “that Teresa was going to use
Joe going to jail, to show the world what a strong woman she was.” and
then Caroline threw in that “Teresa would write a book,” and she even
closed it with “you heard it here first!” Caroline filmed this talking
heads bit (on this episode) LAST YEAR, and these articles in the rag
magazines from “a close family friend” came out last month. You do the
math. Caroline had to have fed these rag magazines
these “exact quotes” for the articles. Teresa was right, they do have
these rag’s “on speed dial,” and it’s crystal clear Caroline called them
to give them this info. I reiterate, they came out last month, they
were EVERYWHERE, and Caroline did this talking head bit last year. MY
GOD WHAT DOES ANYONE ELSE NEED? That was a viscous, inhumane rumor to
put out there. Teresa’s girls will eventually see it, and Caroline even
SAID the exact quotes on this last episode. Good Lord, we all see how
Teresa tries like “he**” not to have her girls affected by what these
women are doing to her. Does anyone really think she wants her kid’s
Daddy to go to jail? Imagine the effect that will have on them. That
story was disgusting and the articles in the rag magazine’s from a
“family source” were the exact WORDS Caroline used on this last episode
saying Teresa will write a book. It’s in black and white, go look them
up. Just type in “family source says Teresa wants husband to go to jail
so she can make money” and you will see the words verbatim from
Caroline’s last talking head bit and the articles last month! It’s so
horrific to process, and so hypocritical seeing they have just crucified
Teresa with this one fact that Teresa uses there’s rag magazines to set
herself and everyone else up! I can’t imagine karma will let BLK be
anything other than a flop with these viscous people at the helm. It’s
stomach turning, and just too seedy to fathom.
Did any of these rocket scientist think that maybe its BRAVO leaking stories to get more attention for them=more $$$$ for BRAVO!!! Every week they are bitching about T they go from how stupid she is to how she only cares for herself. She should be the only one making money and she is jealous to share the spotlight. Did Large Marge and JAC-ASS sit down and put their heads together I’m sure they could come up with an answer. Why would she put stories out there about them if she wants the attention? Their therey was T puts these syories out about herself so people feel bad and buy her products. Then why would shr want people feeling sorry for them if they claim she could be the only one making money? They want to label her has stupid but in the same breath make her out to be the master mind.Did they ever think maybe everyone on these BRAVO shows are nothing more then the bottom feeders in BRAVO’s pond. If they let her stay, then any housewife that doesn’t want to attend the reunion will have a precedent. This season was all ready in the can so what was the point of telling anybody that Jax was fired. But her twittering about future episodes and fights, her alcoholic unreliability, combined with the fact that she is basically a very boring person with no storyline means she will go. She will of course, claim the decision is hers.
By the way, during a week when her daughter declares herself a suffering alcoholic in her blog for the world to see, Jax has nothing better to do than insult Teresa. Her priorities are very interesting.
I tend to agree with that. She violated her contract in more ways than one – she didn’t show up to the reunion AND gave away plot lines. Plus, even though I know BRAVO loves a good crazy chick they can exploit, I think Jac is a little too coo coo even for them. She’s too unpredictable and a liability (literally and legally). I’d STILL take her over Caroline though. And I’m STILL convinced part of the reason she’s so out of her mind is because she’s been emotionally and mentally beaten down and abused by Caroline over years and years, so it’s difficult for me to hate her.

Season 3 and 4 were filmed back to back so it made a lot of sense why Jacqueline is in season 4. I think she knows she’s gone and that’s another reason she went after Teresa.

Teresa has been anything BUT honest about her family’s finances, even accusing the press of misrepresenting what was going on, only to have the actual bankrupcty papers confirm everything that was printed about their hot mess.
Then she blamed the tenants of their buildings, who HAD been paying rent, of not paying. They faulted the business partner for acting as if the disappearing money from the forged papers loan was somehow no big deal and they shouldn’t be faulted for it.

Wow! Sam you are so wrong! WWHL premiere with Teresa and Joe Giudice had over 1.71M viewers making it the highest premiere in WWHL history. Then July 8th WWHL Tyson and Melissa Gorga only pulls in 1.39M which is an extremely low number from what was expected and it had a 2.5M lead in to WWHL. People were turned off by Mel. In fact more people said they turned into to see the convicted rapist, Tyson, than Melissa.
Teresa is definitely returning!

Jac and Caroline in their blind hatred for Teresa pretty much firmly guaranteed that the show would be completely about her by discussing her so much. So they would be the logical one’s to go. Melissa and Kathy can continue to serve as the enemies of Teresa and then bring on 2 of her actual friends. Still tons of drama without having to watch a certain family’s adult offspring be “successful”.

Keep Teresa, Kathy, and Melissa. Let lunatic Jac, and bitter Caroline out of their contracts, and let new exciting women take their places.
Now, I don’t happen to like Kathy (boring) or Melissa (gross) but I would rather watch them and Teresa, then the Laurita’s and Manzo’s and their desperate struggle to find a storyline.

This season is so incredibly boring because it’s all about “how can we knock Teresa down” episode after episode. The four-against-one may be good for one or two episodes, but not an entire season!
If this were to continue with no new cast, next season would be completely unwatchable by everyone; Bravo would have no viewers whatsoever on RHONJ nights.
They must select someone who will get Caroline and Melissa totally riled up; someone(s) who will for sure “bring it” against both of them.

Howdy, Say! From what I have seen of Penny and her hubby, I like them. Their are successful in their own rights, feisty, passionate, and are very tight knit. In short, I like them and feel they would be an excellent addition to this cast!
Penny would be good for 1, (maybe Bravo could even drag it out for 2 episodes at a party or something) to out Melissa & tell what really happened with Lauren, but a whole season I don’t think so. I would be curious to see how much $ Melissa really does need to endure that. She’d probably just play the victim card as usual.

I find it very difficult to believe they’re going to keep all 5 current women on, for various reasons. HOWEVER, if they do, there’s NO WAY they’re going to let the same old, tired, 2-season-long now dynamic keep going for yet another season. Not only has there been a substantial backlash from the viewers, but at this point, it’s just gotten BORING. It WAS positively TROUBLING for a while watching them all abuse and bash Teresa like a gang-up, school yard pile on, but Teresa proved herself to be WAY tougher than everyone thought. And at this point in the season, she’s obviously on to them ( the cast AND Bravo’s plan ) and has gotten over the shock and the hurt and picked herself up and moved on. Like I said, BORING, it’s BORING now. When I watch it ( sporadically and in parts ) i find myself saying after a yawn ” Oh, they’re attacking Teresa again. Teresa’s the worst person who ever lived. blah blah blah ho hum. ” THEY WILL CHANGE THE DYNAMIC NEXT SEASON. And as much as I would LOVE to see Caroline be the new target, I strongly suspect they’re going to go after Melissa.
It would great with new wives and not husbands. I kinda wish Danielle would come back if the rest are. Teresa does not need Shelia Gudice on the show as backup, Shelia is, was, Melissa’s friend until all the twitter attacks against the Gudice family. Not to mention thne fact. I’m not sure I’d be interested in a overhaul cast for NJ. Change hasn’t proven successful with any of the other HW shows and besides NJ has already done that. I don’t wish to see new HWs every other season after investing my valuable down time in the present ladies. Yes….it is quite explosive with the RHWNJ, but each of those ladies have sold their souls to the devil…while laughing all the way to the bank. Sure…I’d much rather the franchise revert to it’s original….zin approach, but I’m not gonna lie, I find the drama quite entertaining…..a soap opera, if you will. Even Jac and all of her rants keep us entertained….or we wouldn’t be talking about it. I’m not pressing for change guys….and that’s just my opinion….sorry.I love seeing the resilience of Tre (the underdog), the jealousy of the others, and the loose lips of Joe Guidice and their kids. I wish they’d bring Danielle and Dina back to get the real party started. Bravo + Desperate HW = Great TV & I’m only invested to that extent.

Has tool gate been bothering anyone else on here? I know they glossed over it and tried to make Joe Guidice seem petty for being upset over it but I found it extremely telling. My husband works in construction and this is simply not done. He has his name permanently etched on every single tool he owns just for this purpose. This is how these men support and feed their families and it is a very big deal to not return them or let alone steal them. Those thieves usually find themselves in the hospital not in jail. @ old NJ girl, I think they said it was masonry tools. I’m not sure how much they were worth but tools in general are not cheap.
it bothers me that people use the tool story to make fun of Juicy. It’s very telling (to me) that rather than say something to JoGo about the tools, Juicy just went a bought himself new masonry tools. To me, that speaks volumes. He had loaned JoGo the tools, needed them himself, figured since he hadn’t gotten them back yet that JoGo was still using them, so he bought new ones. THEN he saw his borrowed tools tossed in JoGo’s garage. That is a total lack of respect-and one that it seems he never even mentioned to JoGo, since the little shrimp seemed surprised to hear about it.

I loved the first 2 seasons of NJ, Danielle really brought the drama, the perfect villain you love to hate. Crazy but entertaining.The last 2 seasons have totally sucked since Mego and froggy came on and it turned into a weekly bash the Teresa show. Chuckie’s true colors came out and Jac lost her mind completely. If season 5 is just more of the same I will not be watching what used to be my favorite housewife show. I’m not even sure it can be saved at this point. Lap bands, lip synching , Black blech, sauce and pastry? I’ve just about had enough of this boring bunch of clowns trying to shove their useless crap down our throats. Oh ya I forgot about Jac’s acne cream. Enough of this stupid crap already. I’m done!!

I have been a fan of the franchise since its inception, and here are my thoughts:
1) New Jersey’s first two seasons were mostly lighthearted and enjoyable. (As most are, before the jump the shark) However, the “crazy Danielle” story line really wore thin towards the end, and Bravo’s decision to fire her was well advised.
2) I feel bad for judging someone I don’t “know” but I think Melissa Gorga is a vile person. Jealousy oozes from her pores. It must have driven her absolutely MAD when Teresa was on the show and I firmly believe that she did say or do whatever it “took” to be on the show. I find Caroline Manzo to be even worse. She is a delusional hypocrite that thinks she is so far above everyone else, that it makes me cringe! Her “holier” than thou attitude re: her “AMAZING” children is probably some sort of defense mechanism implemented to cope with the fact that they are grown man-children. To complain about having a lack of privacy after signing yourself up for a REALITY TV SHOW to me is just laughable. These people get paid to put themselves out there, and have to learn to take the good with the bad,
3) I don’t agree with everything Teresa does, but she is by far the lesser of two evils. I think Joe Giudice is a pig, and I think a lot of people defend him out of pity for Teresa, who is constantly (unfairly) criticized for HIS transgressions.
4) I don’t agree with a lot of the hateful or simply uneducated discourse that goes on these sites, which is why I tend to stay away from them. People don’t seem to realize that writing a string of obscenities or in incomplete/incoherent sentences or both only serves to make you look incredibly unintelligent, and guilty of what you are accusing others of doing. While I don’t agree with some of the points of view I read online, I do enjoy reading them and sometimes they provide insight into a perspective that I had yet to consider. While I do believe that some reality stars make fake twitters, I really don’t believe any of them have time or ingenuity to come on gossip sites and post under aliases.
5) Just a tidbit from a Jersey girl — there is no “parking lot” adjacent to either Sushi Lounge location. The location in Morristown is on a main street that is a short walk from an independently owned and operated parking deck, and the Sushi Lounge in Hoboken in on a main drag with street parking available.
Also, I believe Penny put this story out herself. Regardless of whether it has any truth, she definitely has been lobbying for a full time position on the RHONJ for over a year. I know I’m in the minority here, so please be nice, but I think she is kind of creepy, and in some ways a pretty crappy friend. If my friend was being attacked on reality tv, I wouldn’t make exposing her nemesis contingent on being able to join the show. I’m a loyal friend, not an OPPORTUNIST and I’d share what I knew even if I didn’t think I would get anything form it. That’s what being a good friend is about. If she truly knows anything, that’s what Penny should have done for Teresa.

I think Penny would be a great addition. She is Team Teresa but has her own life and her own story line. She is married, she would be the only other housewife who works outside of Teresa and has an attitude that reminds me of Brandi Glanville.
