As we reported earlier, Gretchen Rossi has admitted to having had a “brutal” time at the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion that filmed earlier this week and now AllAboutTRH can exclusively reveal why.
A RHOC insider reveals to us that Tamra and Gretchen were “fine” and that’s why Gretchen came to Tamra’s wedding last month. However, with producers riling the women up and emotions running high, the reunion was an entirely different story.
“At the time of Tamra’s wedding, everything was fine, and there wasn’t any drama going on. But at the reunion, they had already seen the entire season and that’s when they all were together and confronted each other. They touched on everything from this season as well as years past,” says the source.
Gretchen got the grunt of the drama at the reunion. Producers probably expected this and that’s why they placed her next to Andy! Our source tells us, “They [other cast members] were trying to get Gretchen to come clean about some things and they brought out some evidence that made everything clear. There was evidence that proved what Gretchen had been denying.”
“They all came hard on her,” adds the source.
Gretchen responded to this and denies this was the case, telling us, “I actually proved my innocence on things I was accused of.”
The season eight reunion will probably be a 3-parter, with Lauri in the mix, and Briana also joining in for some of the fun. “The whole thing was extremely intense. It’s probably one of the best/worst reunions I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Best because of all the drama, but worse for the ladies involved,” teases the insider!

Gretchen had a difficult time at the reunion because the producers riled up the women and emotions were running high. They confronted each other about everything from the current season to past years, and Gretchen faced a lot of drama and accusations.

It is uncertain whether Gretchen will come back to the show for the next season. Given the intense and difficult reunion experience she had this season, it remains to be seen if she will be willing to continue with the show.
