Alexis Bellino Talks Heather’s Party And Why Jim Decided To Leave Plus More!

RHOC star Alexis Bellino took to her blog to explain a few things about the season. Alexis says she never invited Sarah to Heather’s party and talks about why Jim left Heather’s home. She also explains how saddened she is by the result of her friendship with Gretchen!
“Whew that was a long season! And an interesting one at that! This has been a rough one for me, but rest assured, it will not get me down for long! I may have struggled over crazy emotions, confused friendships, and overworking. . .but I love my life and am so thankful for everything that has happened this year! I’ve had a week to sit back and relax, which I MADE myself do… and I feel refreshed, energetic and ready to take on the world again! I have learned so much about myself this season — some good, some not-so-good. When I really contemplate what is important in my life I realize it’s all in check, so everything else will fall as it may, and my life is still pretty darn fabulous!!! Thank You God!
I think Heather’s party was beautiful. She did a phenomenal job, and it was truly breathtaking to walk out to the back yard of white leather furniture. Every detail was carefully thought out, from the cake with the edible diamonds, all the way to the toast of giving away a real diamond. Yet with all these material things. . .I’m the pretentious one.
As long as we are on the topic of Heather’s party, there is one important message I must make clear. I would never invite someone to someone else’s party. Sarah told me she was already on the guest list, so when she asked to ride with me, I said yes. Just to be crystal clear, Sarah was ALREADY going to Heather’s party, with or without me, so when she wanted to ride with me, of course I said yes. I was also very aware of the bowling party incident with Sarah, and I wanted to be sure to avoid a recurrence of that situation, which is why I lectured Sarah about not drinking too much and even encouraged to switch to water.
I have known Sarah for many years, and the bowling party incident was so shocking to me because I had personally never witnessed that side of Sarah before, so I was going to try to avoid it from occurring again. I also know Sarah was/is going through a difficult time with her break-up, and I’m not about to turn my back on a friend just because she is going through a rough patch. I will not kick my friend while she is down. I would rather try to help her through it.
This does not mean I condone what Sarah did to Heather’s cake. I was appalled that she touched the cake! It is absolutely unacceptable, and I told Sarah that. My only goal once I discovered that Sarah ate the bow was to put the fire out immediately because Heather had spent all this time and money on an exquisite evening, and it didn’t need to be ruined by Sarah’s behavior. In my opinion, Heather should have pulled Sarah aside (not Tamra and Vicki) and told Sarah that her behavior was unacceptable, and that she needed to excuse herself from the party. End of story. I don’t agree with what Sarah did, but the reaction to her bad behavior was as badly planned as the action that caused it.
I was so happy when Jim surprised me! It’s never fun to be away from him. Yet, I respect his choices just as he respects mine. I don’t want him to be somewhere that he truly doesn’t want to be. Later, when I asked him why he decided to come, he said because after all I had been through with this group of women, he wanted to surprise me and remind me what life is really about. That coupled with the fact that Terry had sent him a text saying come to the party, Jim thought that Terry meant a night of no confrontation (YES, Terry invited Jim personally to the party. . .Jim did not crash it). If you watch the scene, Jim asked Terry to a man-to-man lunch. But Terry was pressuring Jim so much to talk that night (because he knew Heather and Tamra were there to have his back.)
Needless to say, my heart sank when Jim walked out. Jim’s intention for coming to the party was not to talk to Terry about him calling me phony, and Jim was actually confused when Terry asked him to go talk. Obviously I wished I kept my mouth shut, but there is a lot that you don’t see, so just know that it I thought, the sooner they talk, the sooner it will be over, and we can all move on. This is one time I wish Jim would not have listened to me (and you’ll never hear me say that one again!) They really should have talked man-to-man, alone, and without the interference from any wives, friends, or a party! I don’t blame Jim for walking out, I would have done the same thing had I been ambushed the way he was. What is so interesting to me, after watching the finale, is every single time you see Terry or Heather, they say something mean or under-handed about Jim or myself, yet in front of us, it’s all hugs and kisses, and “so glad you could make it.” Yet, I’m the phony one.
I’m so sad for where things stand with Gretchen right now, and I would have thought the sun turned to ice before she and I were in this place. I don’t think Gretchen chose Tamra over me, but I do think Gretchen and I would still be friends if she and Tamra were not. There were so many instances that occurred throughout the season where Gretchen did not act as a true friend to me. I don’t think anything that happened between Gretchen and I was malicious, or that it was all even conscious, but none of that takes away from the fact that how she has treated me over this past season has been hurtful, wrong, and not the way true friends treat one another.
The truth of the matter is that there are so many things that have occurred over the past year that I never talked about. Like the fact that Gretchen listened to other people telling her not to be friends with me (yes, Heather knows about this one, Tamra too.) There are so many facts I never stated, things I never talked about. . .because I don’t LIKE confrontation, I don’t like hurting other people. I believe in being honest, straightforward and truthful, without calling out every single little nit-picky thing. I love my friends unconditionally, with shortcomings, weaknesses, and quirkinesses included. I have been there for Gretchen for two and a half years, while the other ladies attacked her. I have supported her and attended every single new endeavor she has had for the past two and a half years. I have defended Gretchen and Slade relentlessly around town and in the media. I brought Gretchen soup and flowers in bed when she was so devastated by the things Tamra had done to her a year and a half ago. One year ago, Jim offered to donate a substantial amount to Slade’s son, Grayson; as well as donating many of our hotel rooms to their charity. This is just what friends do.
But for some reason it was all soon forgotten when I made a comment to Gretchen about owning my Bentley for three months? It just doesn’t make sense. Gretchen has never told me one time in two and a half years that I said things that bothered her. . .but the minute she and Tamra and Heather are friends, now all the sudden I say things that bother her? Gretchen thinks I was doubting our friendship the minute she became friends with Tamra, but I thought she could be friends with both of us. If you are true friends, you don’t need to pick a lane. . .you can be friends with both. I didn’t realize the down-turn our friendship took until the painting party episode aired, which was long after she and Tamra had become friends. Even amidst all of the negativity and ick of this season, I will always wish Gretchen well, and I will always be here for her should the other girls turn on her.
On to Vicki. . .I have truly gotten to see a side of Vicki this season that I really like. She has had a rough year with Briana being sick, the divorce, and the beating Brooks has taken. However, I think she is lighter, happier, and in love. I understand that there are many concerns about Brooks, but everyone has expressed their concerns to her, and now it’s time to let Vicki figure it out for herself. Jim and I have gotten to know Brooks fairly well over the past few months, and the times we have been around them together, they have been a normal, happy, in love couple.
So with that said, liking or not liking Brooks is not something that any of us need to be inserting into our conversations with Vicki anymore, unless she asks for our opinions. True friends are there through the successes and the failures, through differences and similarities. No matter how things work out, I know Vicki is a smart cookie, and what’s more important is that right now, in this moment, she is happy. And so I choose to celebrate that!”
Personally I agree with Alexis when she says that Heather and Terry are actually the ones who are phony. They sit there and bash both Jim and Alexis behind their back but when there in person with them they act like everything is great. I think Alexis has been positive this season and I like her a lot more then I did before. Thoughts on what Alexis had to say?!

I would not be seen in public with Slade and Gretchen. Alexis should consider the end of their friendship a *blessing*.
Seriously. I hope Alexis comes back next season and takes it by storm with Vickie.
OMG, I couldn’t agree more. Talk about phony, staged and mean-spirited. That’s GLADE!
I think all she she said it true; I used to like Heather; but not anymore; Tamra is a fake phony person; and yea I would consider her trailer park all dressed up.
agree with you
She’s worse than trailer park. My cousin has a double wide trailer that is bigger than my home.
I’m a huge Tamra fan for love her snarky, witty & unfiltered sense of humor in addition for ‘living life’…She’s fun to watch & definately keeps the ratings in the elevated state that they are…..:) With reference to Alexis’ comment on why Jim left… In another interview I read where he said he saw the cameras in the driveway which IMO gave him the clue at which time he could have just turned around & left, but he didn’t…. Perhaps he needed his 15 minutes of ‘fame tank’ refilled for afterall & according to Vicki, she got her ‘love tank’ refilled ,,,,,,,
In all fairness, Jim knows they are filming for the show, everyone attending would know that. Terry invited Jim to the party, see the thread with the text pictures. Why invite Jim just to confront him, unless maybe Terry likes the cameras too
LOVE IT
YOUR COMMENT IS SPOT ON.
They were filming the show. So, he knew the cameras were there, he just did not want to be ambushed. Eventhough I think Jim has something to hide, I respect that he told Terry that he wanted to have a sit down, man to man convo with him. But Terry, insisted.
You are missing the point. According to himself, Jim was surprised to see the cameras at the driveway as his visit was supposed to be a “surprise”. Real Housewives films with mini-crews in order to capture an entire event. Why would they dedicate a crew to filming the driveway, after the official entrances are over?
He claimed to be shocked. How come he doesn’t leave? Instead he walks in and only gets “offended” when it doesn’t go the way he feels it should. Hello, your wife is on a reality show called THE REAL HOUSEWIVES. It focuses on her being a wife and mother. Wake up, and get off the show, or film and let us see how much of an ass you are, buddy!
No he got offended because he was trying to have a “man to man” talk with Terry Scary, and then Heather shows and then Tamra. It was supposed to be a talk between two men, and then two bitches got involved. That’s why he left.
He knew what he was doing!! Jim and Terry already talked about this when no cameras were around! Now all of the sudden, out of all the parties in 2 years, he wants to ” surprise” Alexis- he is full of shizz! He is a bigger drama queen then his wife, who is phony. She likes to play the victim this year but had no problems in what, 2- 3 seasons being nasty? Just because she looks pretty does not mean she is genuine or authentic! She talked all the smack she wanted when her and Gretchen were attached a t the hip- now she is solo and is a victim- HA. Jim, matter of fact , most of the men who have ever been on this show are quite odd- what up with that? I still think he is a bigger snake then we know- who lies about an incident , such as he and Peggy to their wife, and make it so bad for the poor girl she quits a show. Yeah Alexis, you are quite the classy lady yourself.
I agree that Terry & Heather are fake as hell, all OC is, but they shouldn’t call Alexis phony if they aren’t willing to admit they are phony as well as the whole cast.
That would require a level of self awareness that they clearly do not have.
I think all the women are great this season. I do like Tamra and Heather tho. Great season
I always loved Alexis ever since she first came on. I agree that Terry and Heather are phonies and Terry just wants his camera time.
I actually like Alexis, and her blog makes sense. But, I do not see how she can call the Dubrows “pretentious”. They are obviously extremely affluent, and are not pretending to be. They are representing themselves in the social and economic class they are in.
Well, the label “pretentious” applies to their persona and attitude that they (the Dubrows) are superior in character and breeding to the the other housewives, and maybe all of the rest of America too. I would argue that just appearng as regular cast members of the “Housewives” puts them down in the muck and mire with all of the rest of us.
Sometimes I wonder why I like the RHOC, NJ, and NY, when I look down on the housewives so much. I think it is because I can gossip about them and ridicule them with impunity. After all they are not my friends, whom I would be loathe to talk about or be critical of to others. The housewives are a great outlet for gossip without guilt. After all these gals put themselves up for it and are paid to do it.
Amy, i agree with your reason for watching. All but NJ. NJ is more realisitic to me. They arent as flashy as the other shows. But i still watch as a guilty plessure. It use to be funny and light drama. They have moved all the housewife shows in a direction that is dark. Its a shell of the show i started watching. But , im still watching so i cant complain too much lol
Yep, I agree with Alexis on pretty much all of it and I am not even an Alexis fan.
I have to say Alexis came across much better this season than in past seasons for me. She was taken to task on so many occasions but the truth is, she’s a good person and no worse than the other ladies. In fact I think she’s better because she doesn’t deliberately set out to attack or belittle anyone.
It seems like a goodbye post and she feels bad right now and very attacked and i think for her she doesn’t fit in the world of reality T.V. she is out of her domain. It is best for her to stick to her clothing line and make that happen in a big way cause i know her clothes are different and i think she is good at it.I really feel sorry for her.
Based on this season, Alexis has come through looking the best as far as how she has spoken to people and defended herself.
I’d like Tamra more if she would stop running down Alexis. It’d be one thing if she sparred with someone who did it back, I’m all for ‘giving as good as you get’ – but this is like a dog going after a rabbit. If Tamra is happy and in love, why say such awful things when she is unprovoked?
Tamra would never go after someone that would give it right back, she is too scared! She likes going after the weak, it must give her some kind of rush.
I can’t stand Heather, I feel she talks down to all of them,Tamra just doesn’t want to see it. But she seriously talks to the entire cast like they are children and she is the teacher.
I might be mistaken…but didn’t Gretchen introduce Alexis to Sarah in one of the first episodes?!
Thats what I thought!
I remember Heather being upset because Alexis was at the airport first and Heather didn’t really want to associate with Alexis. I can’t imagine what that must have felt like for Alexis to watch that. There is no doubt, she got her feelings hurt. Have these women no decency? Have they no regard for other people beside themselves? Heather is very immature and obviously she is desperate to cause drama for the sake of being asked to return to the show. I have no doubt that Heather and her Doctor Quack are in a financial mess. We’ll hear about it soon. The truth has a way of finding itself on the web. Doctor Terry destroyed his reputation rather than help his clinic.
That was the scene that cemented my utter dislike for Heather.
Agreed! I think the most shocking for me, is that Terry Dubrow went on National TV and portrayed himself as a gossiping GIRL. If his reputation wasnt ruined before this show, it is ruined now. wow! He was a bigger “housewife’ this year than heather.
This is my opinion of Dr. Dubrow …
He needs his own housewife intro.. I’M NOT A HOUSEWIFE, I JUST PLAY ONE ON TV! while he spins around for an over the shoulder wink, hand on his scrub clad hip…what a bitch! lol
Im not the biggest fan of Jimbo but at least he is a man..
“while he spins around for an over the shoulder wink, hand on his scrub clad hip”
That was side-splittingly funnny!!!
Ahahaha you’re hilarious! I see a hot pink stethoscope in there somewhere!
HILARIOUS!
I don’t think anybody in the cast has the right to call Alexis fake and phony when they’re fake and phony themselves :/ Yeah, Alexis is phony and fake- but I also think she’s a nice person. I don’t think I can truly claim the other women are “nice people”.
I like Gretchen but I do think that of all these women, she is the one who is fake. She behaves like she’s Madonna on concert tours. Before Gretchen was to appear on a stripper’s stage to “sing” for a bunch of horny men, Gretchen was constantly talking about her voice, drinking tea with honey, and of course, there’s Slade asking her not to talk. WTH! She’s not Madonna going on a concert tour. Christ, this is Melissa Gorga all over again. My Voice Needs To Rest. LMAO! Don’t these people hear themselves? Do they not realize viewers and bloggers alike are laughing at them?
By the way, I myself am writing this comment from spain because I have to relax when I type on these blogs for fear of Writer’s Block. My husband just asked me to stop typing now because I am stressing my wrists. Sorry everyone, I have to relax my brain and wrists now. Gosh, It’s so hard being like Stephen King. lol
For all these women to be ganging up and bashing alexis, they must be threatened by her. My question is why? Is Vickie right and they’re jealous of her?
I never cared for Alexis or Jimbo but I think your right about the jealousy thing! Kinda like Teresa, I hate ganging up! Jimbo and Terry were doing fine even when Heather came over but when Tamara came I would have did the same and got up and walked away! Even tho I like Tamara she had no business to come over and sit down! She was instigating and she is good at it! But I also think she has good instincts too! (Brookes). Hmmm? It does make you wonder if Bravo doesn’t set these things up because it is happening on all the shows now!
It’s a television reality show with HUGE ratings, actually one of the best rated ‘Housewives’ shows of the Franchise…. It’s a diversed cast with diverse personalities which each & every one of the cast ‘amp up’ for the cameras….. I’m sure that once the cameras are off that most, if not all of them have much more toned down personalities, not so outspoken & drama free.. However, ‘real life’ wouldn’t bring in the over 2M viewership ratings per episode for Bravo…….. Oooops, the question was about Alexis & her blog… I’ll just say that any cast member who writes a blog helps with the ratings as well for we, as viewers, the bloggers & the media, etc print it… We’re talking about it, therefore, it’s more free publicity! Yep, love this show!!
There really is something different about RHOC that seperates this show from all the others.
I do like RHOC better than the other housewive shows. I think it’s all that beautiful California sunshine. Ah, I would love to live in California as it is a beautiful State.
I live in orange county near these women, Heather lives in Newport Coast and it has stunning views of the ocean, it is a great place to live.
i was happy when alexis put her hand in slades face when he was trying to butt himself into the situation between sarah and heather. nobody called slade over so i have no idea why he wanted to be in the drama. he wouldn’t let alexis talk so she gave him the hand and of course gretchen got defensive about it. she needs the hand in her face as well. i never liked alexis but this season i did. she finally has a backbone and stands up for herself.
I am really liking this new Alexis. Its like she finally saw the light and realized everyone who smiles in your face is not your friend. I like how positive she tries to be and how it drives the other girls crazy to see her with a smile on her face.
Alexis makes a lot of good points. Telling Sarah to slow down on the drinking _is_ something a good friend would do. Alexis doesn’t like to talk crap about the other housewives. That doesn’t make her fake, it makes her diplomatic and kind. And she is right about Vicki’s relationship–Vicki is a grown ass woman, and will make whatever decisions she wants to make. Her friends don’t need to be giving their opinions about Brooks if they are not asked for.
