Alexis Bellino Questions If Gretchen Is A Good Friend Plus Talks Heather And Tamra’s Comments
RHOC star Alexis Bellino blogged about how Gretchen reacted to her Fox Five segment and questioned if she’s being a good friend. Alexis also responds to Heather and Tamra’s comments plus reveals that her and Gretchen’s relationship gets worse in the upcoming episodes.
“I was so excited to have Gretchen over to see my Fox Five segment! I thought she would be the perfect person to ask because she would give me honest advice, and be very excited for me. However, when she claimed Fox Five had asked her first to do my correspondent position, I felt she was trying to steal my thunder.
Of course, the minute Gretchen left my home I called my Fox Five producer to confirm if this was true, and she said it was absolutely not true. They were only asking Gretchen to do one segment as a co-host with me, and had no plans ever of giving Gretchen her own correspondent position. It was like Gretchen had to say that to make herself feel better because she couldn’t be truly happy for my success. Beside that fact, I have had similar things happen where I have been asked to host an appearance and I had to say no because I was already booked, then Gretchen would end up doing it and I never once felt I should call her and tell her that. What for? What good does it do? It’s a slap in the face, and not very supportive. If you live by the golden rule, you try to imagine how something would make you feel before you say it. Well, now I know firsthand how it feels and why I was right to never tell Gretchen when she was chosen second for that particular event — I was being a good friend.
The truth is, I have felt a disconnect with Gretchen that started months ago. I couldn’t put my finger on exactly what it was, but now watching all of the episodes thus far, I can see I wasn’t imagining it. The saddest part is that it only gets worse throughout the upcoming episodes. There are several things that confirm my premonitions. In an upcoming episode, something occurs between Gretchen and I that absolutely crushes me, and I know you will all see the true colors of all the women by the end of the season. There is an accumulation of several things that are very eye opening..
Vicki shocked me by flying to Vegas and supporting Gretchen! Good job Vicki to put the past behind you and try to move forward. I think it’s awesome and shows again how happy Vicki is. Although it’s hilarious that she is expecting an apology back from Gretchen! Vicki is a character! She always keeps you chuckling.
I was seriously falling out of my chair laughing at my makeup in Vegas! Oh holy moly! First let me just start by saying that my usual Vegas makeup artist, Rain, was out of town, so I had to hire someone else. I didn’t mention my bruises to her when I spoke to her over the phone, and I truly think that when she walked in the room and saw my bruises under my eyes, she freaked out a little. That makeup artist was so sweet and was trying so hard, but bless her heart, by the third layer of foundation I knew we had a serious problem! Honestly if I had gone out for the evening with no makeup on and full bruises exposed, I would have gotten a lesser reaction than with the three-layer fudge look. I simply could not bring myself to hurting her feelings, and I knew the quicker I got her out of the room, the faster I could wipe off and start over! Jim and I still laugh so hard about that night!
I truly feel like Tamra and Heather are the “mean girls” from high school. Does anyone know what that feels like? I never had to deal with it at 15 years old, but I’m going through it at 35 years of age on national television! They are the bullies who thrive on hurting other people. They think they can say whatever they want, no matter how preposterous (like my children are not my own!!!) because they have no heart. I’m the sacrificial lamb this season, and I’m done letting them abuse me. Just because I choose to be kinder doesn’t mean I won’t defend myself against the horrible behavior these evil women project. Light will always outshine the dark. For future reference, if they want to talk smack in interviews, they can just say it to my face.”
I don’t know if I’m the only one but I’m really liking Alexis this season. I think it was wrong of Gretchen to continue to point out that she was asked by Fox Five. The way she said it was an obvious dig to Alexis. It didn’t sound supportive, it was rude. It’s like she ruined the whole moment. I just personally didn’t think she needed to bring that up! I think Alexis is getting better this season and not being as insecure. Do you think Heather and Tamra are being mean? Thoughts on Alexis blog?

I really like Alexis this season to. I WAS a Tamra fan but she is just so ful of it this season.
Question: Why does Tamra suddenly HATE Alexis with such venom? What did I miss?? I think she became besties with Gretchen so she could turn Alexis’ best friend against her. But why? She never seemed to hate Alexis like this last season. It’s way too angry and personal now, like something horrible happened between them that the rest of us don’t know about.
I think it’s because Alexis and her husband were able to short sell their home (sell it for less than they owed to the bank) while Tamra and Simon were foreclosed on or something like that. Ever since the reunion, Tamra has had it out for Alexis. It only makes her look jealous and ugly. I’m sure that’s also why she decided to manipulate stupid Gretchen into thinking she wanted to be friends, so they could mutually attack Alexis. Tamra is desperate to stay on the show, it’s her only real source of income (unless real estate starts selling again or her “good friend” Heather Dubrow lists her house for sale) and because she and Simon squandered their money away when they had it, she’s now threatened knowing she’s getting older, uneducated and hooked up with a guy who doesn’t have much of an income either.
ITA, Roxy. I used to be team Vicki and Tamra but now am team Vicki & Alexis. Gretchen is mean mean mean and Tamra has ZERO loyalty. Both of them talking smack on Twitter so much, it’s so tacky and gross.
Oh and where are Tamras comments?
Gretchen was definitely being a b!t(h about the Fox 5 thing. However, her telling Alexis she needs a coach was good advice. Alexis is horrible in front of the camera and dresses completely inappropriately. It’s so cringe worthy. So was the conversation she had with King Jim in the office…..

Gretchen did was a good friend should, she gave honest and helpful advice. She suggested a hosting coach to help Alexis do better and improve. That’s a better friend than someone who says “you’re wonderful” to your face while privately thinking you suck.
Actually, the Fox5 person would naturally tell Alexis that they did not ask Gretchen first. They didn’t get Gretchen. They have Alexis and want to keep her happy. How many hundred stories have there been about people being asked and then the people doing the asking deny it when they were turned down? Give me a penny for each one and I can retire.
Well said & obviously you know what you’re talking about. You’re correct the network isn’t going to acknowledge to someone they alreaddy have on board that she’s there due to their first choice turning the position down….. I too beleive that Gretchen was indeed a friend by giving her the advice she did on a coach & it appeared that Alexis took the advice for it showed her talking to Jim about it…….
If you see the interview in it’s entirety it’s really not that bad. Bravo edited to make it look like she was a bumbling idiot but she was far smoother then they show. Not Katie Couric mind you… just not as bad as they made it seem. Her attire was inappropriate for sure.

I live in SD and watched it live as I did the other segments she did. For one, it’s a goofy morning show, with a lot of impromptu joking around and there was nothing at all wrong with any of her segments. I highly doubt Greedy Gretchy or her pimp would have turned anything down that involved money or showing her donkey with a wig face on TV, braying about anything. Tamra is incredibly jealous. It’s so unattractive on an aging woman who is so crude to begin with. Jeana pointed out years ago that Tamra’s behavior was due to her upbringing and it looks like she is raising her kids to be as low-class trashy as she is.

Alexis is the best looking one on the show and watching her taking want to get bk to work and do a show is fun to watch…sick of the bickering and scream-fests on these shows. Enjoy seeing someone being happy for a change…does the heart good!.
I am liking Alexis this season. Very beautiful but not the sharpest tack. I think she may be the next Teresa. Earning her own money, helping to support her family and standing up to Jim.
Sorry, but Alexis is an idiot. What Gretchen did wasn’t being a bad friend. She had just said she asked Gretchen to come over because Gretchen would be honest with her and whatnot. That’s EXACTLY what she got then she tries to blame it on Gretchen not being happy for her? Give me a break.
I’m not a Gretchen fan by any means, but let’s get real, Gretchen was more than likely approached first by Fox 5 considering she’s not only the most well-liked one on the OC but she’s done hosting before. It’s so obvious that Alexis is completely insecure, otherwise why would she feel the need to call Fox 5 so they can rub her ego?
I’m sorry I just find Alexis so boring. She likes to come across bigger & more important than she is. She brags a lot about her money & loves attention. I have a feeling that she plays up for the cameras & is different when they are down. She seems very fake to me. The other 4 women come across harsh but seem way more honest than Alexis!
I used to LOVE Vicki and Tamra. Now I LOVE Tamra, Gretchen, and Heather. Vicki is such a hypocrite! On WWHL— she was saying “I love Alexis and Jim! They are wonderful and I can’t believe all the mean stuff everyone says such mean stuff about them!” UHM— does she not remember last year? She was the leader of all the nasty talk! And Alexis does seem fake. She is always talking about all this money they have. ALWAYS! And she is awful at anchoring. If anyone says nice things they are LYING!
I have always liked Alexis. I have had the pleasure of corrosponding with her many times and she is very sweet and VERY giving. She is not dumb, sometimes a little ditzy but far from dumb. Alexis never said it bothered her that Gretchen suggested a coach. She said the fact that Gretchen told her she was offered the part first hurt her and I can see why. There was no need for it. I posted on twitter I was not liking Gretchen this season and she DM me and told me she is just seeing people for who they really are. Excuse me? Tamera has shown you who she was the past how many years? Only difference is she has a new punching bag: “Alexis”. I have seen Alexis do nothing disloyal or mean to Gretchen. All I have seen is her getting upset a little when Tamera and Gretchen become BFF’s and I don’t blame her. I would feel hurt to if one of my closest friends buddied up with someone that hated me and trash talked me all the time
Great post! I really do think that now that Gretchen has Tamra on her side, HER personality is showing more. She is so mean on Twitter, both to Slade’s ex and to Vicki and now Alexis. And Tamra is right there co-signing it all – I’m really disappointed with Tamra. How is she so mature that she can squash things with G but still rag on Alexis every 5 minutes?? Gretchen was always meaner than Alexis and Tamra was always meaner than Vicki, but now they’re besties, and honestly now I think they should’ve been besties all along cuz their personalities are really meshing.
I heard on KTLA news thats Alexis is no longer a correspondence in San Diego and that they hired her to only do a few segments.
I want to think she is better as last season she was a mean girl herself!!! Now that the tables have turned I hope it humbles her. I don’t know about Heather yet, I think she is bluntly honest and Tamra is still Tamra. She is not perfect but I think she is funny and she does have a good heart. She has reason for not caring for Alexis, she does not have to like her! Maybe it will get addressed. Alexis was not too nice to Tamra either in the past!
I am no Alexis fan and find her irritating; however, Gretchen was not being nice at all and there was not need to say that they had offered her the job. She did it on purpose. She has not been a good friend to Alexis at all lately and has really seemed to jump ship to team Tamara. Tamara used to be my favorite but she is quickly just becoming nasty. What is Eddie thinking is what I think every time she opens her mouth now. I also initially liked scary faced Heather, but her continued jabs at Alexis are also becoming just rude. We get it Heather , your are much smarter. Move on and just be kinder.

I agree about Heather. She is very unattractive for one and seems to only want to brag about her wealth and talents. I personally think the only reason she ever got on any show is that her family is wealthy and connected. As far as singing, I think she has a horrible voice for speaking, I can’t imagine what listening to her sing a song would be like. Her husband acts like a giggling teenage girl instead of a real man. I saw a clip of the two discussing her “career” with her agent and he made a crude joke about “playing the skin flute as a kid”–to my knowledge that means giving BJ’s. Is he trying to tell us something?
I’m with Alexis , all these mean immature chicks on these wives shows is getting out of hand.
Gretchen seems like the type to do what she has to do to maintain / or get to the top and throwing Alexis to the side is apparently part of it.
Heather better watch out b/c Trashy Tamra & Turncoat Gretchen will use / turn on her by next season , no bones about it.
I don’t think Heather has anything to worry about as far as ass-kissing Tamra is concerned. Unless of course she doesn’t list/buy a house from the crude little cow. Then the daggers will be out.
