Alexis Bellino Gets New Acting Gig!
Well well well RHOC star Alexis Bellino has lots to be happy about. She landed a cameo on the hit soap show General Hospital! Alexis shared the big news via twitter saying,
“I’ve been keeping a secret but so excited cuz I’m in LA for an acting role on a popular soap and I get to share it w/all of you today! Guess what? I just arrived on set of General Hospital for my 1st cameo appearance! Exciting! I can’t tell details yet but will soon!”
Huge and exciting news! Congrats Alexis! Do you think Alexis will be a good actor?

I agree. After watching fugly Heather say that “Sarah is a drunk and Alexis is dumb”–well SHE’S UGLY inside and out. What a horrible woman.

I have to agree with you regarding Heather. I don’t watch all the episodes but when I do tune in here and there, usually every third week, I always see Heather in the interview box calling Alexis dumb. I don’t understand why Heather keeps pasting negative labels on Alexis? I know Alexis called Heather pretentious, but that didn’t come out until months later when the show aired. I think Heather is very insecure.
ok watched the show last night. She had 3 people up there to talk, she didn’t let a one of them say didly…come on? She is all about herself, but looks to me at dinner Jim was telling her to quit what she is doing. ANd he “lets” her have her things or moments or something or rather. Seriously? Can we say controlling?
I really do not like her, I think she did a terrible job interviewing those people don’t think she will do any better on GH. Sorry but she’s annoying and her husband is a Neanderthal.

Good for her. Now maye she will realize she is capable of making her own $ and ditch controlling Jim, I literally almost fell out when they were having dinner and he was complaining about her working.
TalibanJim is a slob. He wants her to quit because HE’S too lazy to help raise his own kids. What a tool. This marriage will go t**s up in a few years when the kids get older and are able to care for themselves more. Alexass will have more free time and Jimslob will have less control.
I kinda agree with you. She is beautiful and making her own money not sure that she sees any of it, even though we only see what’s on TV I really hope she comes to her senses one day and realizes she deserves better.
I’m happy for Alexis! I don’t see her on a soap because their acting is serious business. She can’t even talk without stuttering and messing up on Fox 5 News, and when she kept speaking, I thought she was a bit rude. I don’t think she notices how rude she is sometimes… It’s okay though. Whatever rocks her world!
You really need to watch the entire segment Alexis hosted. She actually did quite well. In fact it was astounding as I saw the entire segment after watching the doltish edit she got from Bravo. It really is quite remarkable to be reminded just how much the edit can shape the narrative and therefore the perception of the “character” of each “Housewife” and the way Bravo wants them each to be perceived in all these new-age soapies. And really brings back what I said here before about how we have to constantly remind ourselves there is no way we can definitively ‘know’ these people based on the show. However, no matter how contrived these new soap-operas-for-a-new-age are (Teresa was right on the money with that observation in her recent interview), they present themselves as they are in their element. Animals in their natural habitats if-you-will. The scenes may be staged and the dialogue geared to fit the established narrative but the dialogue is not scripted. So even if the scenario has been planned, the words have not been rehearsed. So you can, as I said, get a flavor of the essence of a person by listening to what words they choose to express themselves and the context in which they use them. I know people love to goof on Teresa because of gaffes like “Norwegian” (for Nor’easter) or “Semolina” (for Salmonell) but I just heard Kathy say her stomach was doing “somerstalts” (for somersaults. I’m watching the marathon. They’re in Punta Cana) so, no matter how mangled the actual word, all ‘talk’ is about communication and if you got their meaning then they said all they needed to and in the end, said it well.
So, all in all, Alexis had fun with it while it lasted and has nothing to be ashamed of but rather something fun and unique to look back on. Plus, her kids will love it and I think that really is the most important thing to her when all is said and done.
I think Alexis is adorable and amazing. She really is the definition of a renaissance woman. A doting wife and mother who is also making her mark outside the home. I see her as another Teresa. Is she perfect? No. As cliched as it is the question must be asked; who among us is?
Alexis has to be given props for having old-school values in a new-age world. I’d say all things considered her energy and determination make her a positive role model. She may be a little ditzy but that just makes her charming because she is so earnest you just have to love her. Her handling of the passive-aggressive Peggy at the end of Vicki’s party proved she is also quite adept at handling herself in potentially explosive situations.
Also, she’s smart enough to be the boss in her household but let Jim think otherwise. A time-honored tradition the really smart ones learn early. So don’t let her fool you. This lady knows exactly who she is and what she’s doing.
I have a question….who will Alexis playing on General Hospital? When will she be on the show…as of yesterday 4/11/2012 I have not seen her. I have been watching it since way back in the 70′s. I have watched OC from day one and love it and it is my favorite! Not sure how I feel about Alexis. I think she lives a typical Real Housewives life just like all the rest of them, that love to live a life of pure drama and open there doors of their lives to the world. I don’t have any use for Alexis’s husband. I think he is nothing but a typical spineless control freak. Just maybe she will wake up to it and see it for herself, but we must remember we do not know what goes on behind ones doors.
I like Alexis I see that she gets the mix vibe, some people like her some don’t. I think she is really down to Earth I think compared to the other ladies on that show. Look at Vicki she is a complete fake to me her own daughter didn’t even want her around during recovery. Tamara just hates on everyone like she is better then anyone else in that group. Heather ugh what can I say about her she is just blahhhh. Gretchen I guess I tolerate her she is in “Gretchen World”. Alexis just does her own thing it seems like. The whole nose thing was so dumb, seriously she had to get that nose job TAMARA! We all clearly saw during the surgery what was coming out of her (gross) so shame on those housewives for attacking her! Tamara is just fake to me the same episode she went to LA with Heather and her friends for lunch and she wants to be friends with Heather but she is bashing all of her friends! How do expect to be friends with her if you hate on her friends. Do you realize they watch these episodes with them in it including Heather? You think she really likes you talking about her friends of over 20 years? Please.
