Brooks referred to his youngest child as an “extra” and lied to his ex Nicole Cataznarite about having a vasectomy right before she gave birth to her son who is 3 year olds and hasn’t seen Brooks since he was 5 months old! OMG i almost feel bad for vicki now what a bucking jerk!!!! I have a five year old and i would literally be so heart broken if his father abandoned him. There is no pain worse. Vicki needs to high tail it out of there, there is no excuse for his behavior.
I can’t feel bad for Vicki because she already knew all of this about Brooks and still chose to be with him , support him and basically choose him over her own family. I just can’t pity stupid ass people.

I cannot feel bad for Vicki after all the defending she’s done of him this season. I have a feeling Vicki knows well and good how little he’s there for his kids, given how much time he has spent doting on her….Vicki has introduced Brooks to her children. Why has she never wondered why Brooks doesn’t introduce her to his? ALL of his? She obviously hasn’t met his 4th child if the mother hasn’t even seen Brooks and didn’t even know he was on RHOC until a friend told her about it. I think Vicki’s loving the attention because she feels that she never got the same level of affection from Donn…..and doesn’t really care about his past.
Totally agree. It’s obvious Vicki doesn’t care about what Brooks is doing to her family as long as her love tank is full. Everybody has brought up what a hypocrite she is and how she supposedly has all these strong moral opinions about these things, and it’s not like she’s wrestling with it or feels bad, if it doesn’t affect her, tough luck.

I just feel so bad for Vicky. Con artists are good at what they do and know who to target – who is vulnerable and she was having marriage trouble and I’m sure he swooped in on that. Hopefully her friends and family can love her through this instead of trying to force her to see something she just can’t right now. That’s what I’d want my loved ones to do – just be supportive – not mean.
I can’t feel sorry for her. This is what everyone’s been saying and she either refused to listen or she knew and didn’t care. My god, in this age of technology, everyone should run a background check before you even go on a date with someone. Her love tank’s gettin’ filled while her bank account’s gettin’ drained. vickie needs to wake up and get him out, i believe his sweet talk is why she gave up on donn. She needed alot of sweet talk, and her marriage had gone past that stage when this creep made her his next target.
She really needs to just step away and get a vibrator, sorry for being crude. But it is the thrill of a new man that has kept her so naive about Brooks. Vickie is very childish in many ways and I think being older than the other women only stirred up the middle age stuff we go through. She is not happy about what Donn wants from the marriage, financially speaking but is willing to be fleeced, by this con artist.

2. You see how she is just always seeking out love and attention from her friends, men, kids,whom ever. she is obviously vulnerable, and insecure.
3. her kids are grown, moving on, she no longer feels a purpose, her friends are settled in there lives now, and i think she just wants to fit in.

Great post. I guess I feel for Vicky because she admittedly is so insecure, and I can relate to that. I guess I feel like Tamra’s concern is mixed in with meanness and it just doesn’t sit well with me. That said, wow, this piece on 20/20 is brutal and I do also agree with others above that she needs to get her frickin head on and come back down to earth. The fact that she’s still with him says how she’s deep in denial, like DEEEEEEEP and it’s really sick and sad. Like I said I think the more her friends and family push her by getting mad at her, the more she will side with Crooks. Slade did not even have this much press which leads me to believe it was not as bad. And I truly feel sorry for all the horrible things I said about him. It was a tough economy and people get behind. But I do not think it was ever like this. Slade has been on TV since 2006. There have NEVER been reports like this.
Vicki is the type of person that can give it, but can not take it. Her marriage ended because she was having an affair with Brooks and apparently it was an intense emotional affair via email. Her daughter called her out on it on one of the first shows of this season. That is when Vicki wanted the cameras off because her divorce from Donn is still not final. He is fighting for spousal support and in the state of California if you committed adultry spousal support can be quite expensive and she doesn’t want to give him a dime.
Crooks is a CREEP!!! He has made my skin crawl since his first introduction!!!! EWWWWWW!!! I’m sorry but she is a poor excuse for a woman…there is no way she has not known about this especially since he is now living in California and she knows he NEVER sees his kids. I read she just bought share into a drink called “Cougar Juice”, and I am not sure if she owns it, or what the deal is. But, she said she would have filming crews there as it was evolving.

Vicki degraded Gretchen many times asking how Gretchen can stay with a man who doesn’t pay child support. Bring this up to Vicki and she blows up like a lunatic. Vicki claims to have a good relationship with her daughter but it’s all a lie. Also, Brooks is going to eventually take over Vicki’s company, steal from it and the company is going to crash.
While I agree with u on one hand, I think Vicki’s initial message to Gretchen was that if she wanted kids, she was a fool. Cos if Slade wasn’t able to support his child now and that child is sick, that it was unlikely he would be able to repair that matter to a point where Gretchen could count on him to be a whole father to their children. Which may be harsh, but it’s true. And Gretchen is now seeing that. Three years on and it’s been difficult for Slade. I’m downright stunned at those that feel bad for Vicki. Vicki was warned about Brooks for months. Her friends & especially her own daughter have tried to tell her there was something off about him & the way he said all the right things. I can’t say for a fact but her first husband (who had a blog to defend himself from her horrid accusations) accussed her of cheating on him with Donn, got pregnant by Donn, aborted the child so her family wouldn’t know she was cheating, left her husband, moved to Cali to be with and married Donn a year later.
Brianna hinted that she has been having a long time emotional affair with Brooks while married to Donn.

Can’t feel bad for the girl (Vicki) since everyone tried to tell her and warn her out of concern, but she choose not to listen. Sometimes people are blinded by love and need to feel the heat and face the consequences before they learn. Hopefully he doesn’t try to scam Vicki out of money. Vicki and the rest of the cast and most of the fans knew about all of this all along. This expose just took it from the celebrity gossip news to the mainstream news. This poor little boy was not an unknown secret – there are stories aplenty about his three children and his child by another woman and about his arrest for nonpayment of child support.
As to the claims of nonpayment, you will note that they provided no current evidence of a legal claim, instead going back to the past claim when he was arrested. We don’t see actual evidence of a current claim for nonpayment – and the mother of the boy he emotionally abandoned did not say she filed a complaint.
Of course, this still makes him a loser and bad man in my opinion, but my opinion is not the one that counts. Vicki’s opinion is what matters and she knew about all of that. The only information that might give her pause is the daily cards and so on – perhaps she may realize she’s not that special after all.
What I do think is most revealing about this story is the reaction of the other women – and the gloating and glee from Tamra and Gretchen. Decent women would feel some compassion for Vicki for this national calling-out and humiliation. Tamra, in particular, was indecently happy to see her former friend humiliated on national television and reveling in this sort of human tragedy is disgusting.

I have zero sympathy for Vicki. There is alot of info over on the SH website about this and the mother of his youngest child and the child’s former nanny have posted over there. It is quite interesting. I pretty much agree with most of the posters here, she deserves whatever she gets. I honestly can’t believe that she doesn’t know about this. She is a highly successful woman and a well known one throughout the country I am sure she ran a background on him. After what she did to Slade last year and dating this scumbag. She has zero room to talk about anyone. Yeah Slade may be behind on his support but I believe he got behind because he simply couldn’t afford it after losing everything. That is a huge difference between that and just simply not paying. I do wish this had come out before the reunion was taped because it would have made for a great reunion. I guess this is going to be a hell of a trainwreck to watch.
I’m pretty sure Bravo is going to get at least one or two extra Reunion episodes out of this.

Well I’m not on the Donn love train really bc I do recall him being an ass to Vicki a few times and these things are edited within an inch of reality as we all know. Bravo will paint whatever picture they want for us to suit their needs. However, for God’s sake, surely there are more than 2 middle aged bald men out there to chose from (meant with love, my hubby is a middle aged bald man) besides Donn or Brooks. Yikes! I actually feel a little bad for her bc clearly she’s not thinking with a sound mind if she knows all this isht about Brooks and CHOOSES him anyway. Sick picks sick. I feel kind of icky too bc after Russell Armstrong we know how these real life situations can end up in tragedy. I wonder how this one will end.
