Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is a Rockstar! (Plus is the daughter of real life Rockstar John Mellencamp.)
Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave made her debut this season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and she made a lot of waves. She developed friendships and got into some fights. That is what the RHOBH is all about, right? It made for an entertaining season! Teddi is an accountability coach, and has been building her own company doing that. She’s also a wife, mother and equestrian. Just like Lisa Rinna says you have to ‘own it’ – Teddi feels you have to be ‘accountable.’ Especially when you are on a franchise of ‘Real Housewives.’
According to Haute Living, Teddi explained, “If you are accountable to yourself and to your word you feel a sense of peace and happiness. I am not a bundle of joy every day when I wake up but once I remind myself of my daily goals and know I am going to complete them I feel a sense of pride and happiness. Being accountable and committed to me has made me an all-around happier person.”
She received some really good advice from her father, John Mellencamp, before she made her ‘Real Housewives’ debut. Teddi said, “The best advice I got was actually from my dad. He told me, no matter what. BE YOURSELF. BE AUTHENTICALLY YOU, even if others don’t like it. You cannot regret anything you do if you are being you.” It’s true, people should always be themselves and embrace who they are!
Who out of her fellow RHOBH co-stars is she the closest too? Kyle Richards! Teddi said they speak and/or text daily. She said, “We try to get together for a hike or sushi as often as our crazy schedules permit.”
I’m not surprised that she got the best advice from her dad prior to the show – he’s very insightful. Just listen to his lyrics. It’s obvious that Teddi and Kyle are close friends, so I’m not shocked that she’s the closest to her. They really hit it off and developed a genuine friendship. I liked Teddi on the RHOBH and I hope she returns next season!
