The Richards sisters have had more than their share of ups and downs (emphasis on the downs) however, are they on their way to a truce?
The Richards sisters feud is a long and complicated story (for brief overview click here) however most recently it has heated up thanks to Kyle’s new show ‘American Woman.’
Kyle has repeatedly stated that the show is only inspired by their childhood and is not a true reflection of their upbringing. Despite her statement, both Kim and Kathy have voiced their frustrations with Kyle moving forward with the show and have wanted nothing to do with it. Kyle had stated that when they saw the premiere she hoped her sisters would see that no family secrets were shared and would have a change of heart.
One sister who seems to have changed her tune is Kim, and she recently sent out a tweet that seemed to be supportive of Kyle and the new show. The tweet stated, “Good Luck to my little sister @KyleRichards on Your New Show!” and had some sweet emojis to go along with it:
When Kim mentioned that she wished Kyle could have be with all of them, she was most likely referring to the wedding of Barron Hilton which took place in St. Barts on June 3.
No word (yet) on what Kathy thought of the premiere episode; however Kyle has hope as she previously gave an interview stating:
“I’m looking forward to her seeing ‘American Woman’, because I think she’s gonna look and say, ‘I read the situation wrong,’ and then we’ll go from there.”
I have yet to watch the premiere (mainly because I have no idea how to watch the Paramount Network) however I’m interested to see how much of it reflects the Richards sisters upbringing. Based on Kim’s tweet it seems that at least one sister has given it her blessing so hopefully that means Kathy will as well.
