Mob Wives Stars Remember Big Ang On The Anniversary Of Her Death Amid Reboot

Big Ang (Angela Raiola) was the star of Mob Wives and she will remain a star forever!

The saying is, ‘Time heals all wounds.’ However; when it comes to losing loved ones to death, that is not always the case. Big Ang sadly lost her battle with cancer on February 18th of 2016, at the young age of 55. Her presence has not been forgotten and her memories live on. All of Ang’s co-stars have posted endearing messages and photos on social media on the anniversary of her death. There is a confirmed reboot of Mob Wives in the works, which has left many fans wondering how there could be a show without Big Ang? It seems likely that they will touch on the impact she had on their lives on the new series.

Drita Davanzo posted a touching video of Big Ang. She even made up her own rap in honor of Ang! Drita’s performance of the rap was filmed in front of Big Ang’s mural in Staten Island. Drita wrote, “You went from Big Ang to Big Angel. Feels like 100 years not 2. RIP my friend.” On Valentine’s Day, Drita also posted a photo of Ang’s tombstone with the caption, “Happy Valentine’s Day Ang! Miss you!”

Carla Facciolo posted a photo with Big Ang, that was taken just a few weeks before she died. Carla captioned the picture, “This woman has touched so many lives and brought happiness in all her friends and families. So many fun memories that no one will ever forget! You are truly missed and loved by so many people. RIP my Angel!” A lot of people commented on the photos and Carla replied, “She always looked beautiful even when she wasn’t feeling well!”

There has been a lot of rumors that Big Ang’s sister Janine Detore, isn’t a fan of the fellow Mob Wives stars except for Drita. When fans told Carla they didn’t understand why Big Ang’s sister has a problem with them, Carla replied, “Honestly I don’t know why! She knows how I loved Angela!” She added, “I did nothing! Her sister has no reason!! Can’t understand why she’s so angry!” She told fellow commenters, “If you’re so concerned ask her! We all would love to hear why! But do it on her page!” Hopefully they all make peace soon.

Renee Graziano posted photographs of Big Ang. She wrote, “2 years ago today one of God’s most beautiful angels was called back to heaven, to do her work from above. Yes it was too early for her to go, but at least her spirit lived on everyday and she will never be forgotten by me and many others. I miss you Angela very much, more than ever right now. Please look over my grandson Baby AJ, you would be in love with him and his big bright smile. I wish you didn’t have to go. I am very grateful to have had you in my life for all those years. I’m truly blessed. And never forget that I love you.”

Perhaps filming will begin shortly, or maybe it already has. Carla and Karen have been hanging out and capturing it on Snapchat. Karen Gravano also took to Instagram to pay her respects to Big Ang. She said, “You will forever be a star and will always be remembered and loved by many!!! Your memories will last a lifetime.”

It doesn’t feel real that Big Ang is gone. It’s hard to picture Mob Wives without her. I am looking forward to the reboot, though! I miss Big Ang and I hope they keep Ang’s memory alive with the show. It was very touching to see the cast post sweet messages and photos in honor of Big Ang on the anniversary of her death. Big Ang was full of life, hilarious and down-to-earth. She will never be forgotten and her memory will live on. From Big Ang to Big Angel!!! RIP!
