Trouble for the Gorgas! Joe Gorga Gets Sued While Melissa Warns Fans: ‘Do Not go to Gorgas!’

Things have been better for Joe and Melissa Gorga. Not only have they been dealing with the death of Joe’s mother, they also have issues with the Gorga restaurant which was created in her honor. Unfortunately for the Gorgas, the phrase ‘when it rains it pours’ seems to be true as they have ran into even more legal issues as of lately.

According to Page Six Joe was recently hit with a lawsuit involving one of his rental properties. The lawsuit is regarding a slip and fall on one of Joe’s properties and he is now “waiting on a court date.”

According to the plaintiff’s attorney Gerard Nisivoccia: “It’s for a slip and fall on ice at a rental property that he owned under a business name. He’s the owner of the corporation that owns the property.”

His client is a tenant of one of Gorga’s properties and apparently “fractured his arm” after falling. As for the lawsuit? They are claiming it is necessary as Gorga allegedly “wasn’t responding.”

Adding to the legal problems for the Gorgas is the restaurant under their family name. We have reported on the issues regarding the restaurant (for original story click here) but not Melissa is taking it a step further by warning fans NOT to go to Gorga’s Homemade Pasta & Pizza. In a Page Six video, Melissa sternly tells fans not to go to Gorga’s even though it still is in their name. You can view Melissa’s message in the video below:

Yikes…2018 has got off to a rocky start for the Gorgas. This is also on top of Melissa’s lawsuit with her ex-business partner Jackie Beard RobinsonAllAboutTRH will keep you in the loop so make sure to come back for updates!

Slip and fall. What a bunch of BS. I hate people, sue and try to collect from people with money. Get a damn job loser.

  • mystroxx

People smell the money. Melissa that is why you should not do a fake business for a season on tv,it ends up messy. If they are done with the lease then why is the owner using their name ?

    • luvs2ride

Yes, but the Gorgas smell money, too. This ain’t their first rodeo with sinister partners.

      • mystroxx

        ain’t that the truth

      • Betty

        You’re right. Isn’t TreApe a “partner”? She’s a felon for fraud!

        • mystroxx

totally forgot about her being a partner

  • michers

My thoughts are this – seems like more and more Bravo peeps are racking them up and I just can’t pick and choose who to shame ! Pump, Stump, Meme.. Oy! Lawsuits are the new Birkins .

    • Lea

There are a lot of lawsuits lately.

      • michers

I’m sure there’s a frivolous one thrown in here and there and nowadays people are too quick to forge ahead with them . I’m sure it’s overwhelming for the courts ! Hard to tell what’s a true case and winnable or not IMO.

  • Pokémon

As ugly as his TreCnt sister

  • September24

In fact, everyone should go and take a pic with the “closed” sign and post it! hahaha!!!!

  • September24

No true experienced successful businessman ever announces they are looking for larger space. Now all the available spaces will up their asking price. Hags.

  • September24

If Richie goes to Gorga’s and takes a pic with the Out of Business sign I will LMAO!

    • luvs2ride

      Oh, he will.

      • CsqD

YUP! And Richie will tag Andy Cohen in hopes he’ll be asked back for another season!

Melissa and Joey are obviously not very good at owning/running a business!

        • luvs2ride

You’re right, C. NO business sense whatsoever.
One thing Melissa is damn good at is spinning and manipulating situations. She’d make an excellent PR exec, but unfortunately she thinks she’s the star.

          • CsqD

I wonder if the Gorgas had any offers on their beaver infested, t-shirt stuffed chimney Mansion yet? ?

        • michers

          So true C!!!

  • Khipp
    • michers

      It really is

  • Vita40

A simple glance at the yelp account for Gorga’s restaurant proves that this was just for a storyline. Almost every review states no one has seen the Gorga’s around since the opening party filming for Bravo.

    • Bruce’s Balls

      Yep!

  • just me…??

Oh Mel…I hope the 2 people that went there get your message. STFU

    • Bruce’s Balls

Lines out the door!? LMAO, she’s a liar just like her husband, and SIL.

      • just me…??

Can not remember what site it was..but some one posted that they their nails done at a salon next to the restaurant…never a line…Do these ass hats forget people live in NJ and can fact check their stupid comments.

        • Bruce’s Balls

Yeah, I saw that. The only people who believe anything that comes out of the mouths of the Gorgags and the Poodices are delusional fools.

        • luvs2ride

          Unreal!

  • Bruce’s Balls

The restaurant was never theirs to begin with. They slapped the Gorgag (not a typo) name on someone else’s restaurant. Another fake business, so they could have a SL, and used their dead mother in the process.

  • September24

LOL! Do they win a prize for having the most lawsuits?!

    • mystroxx

I think Marg has had more. That would be interesting though to find out.

      • michers

I keep seeing Soggy fans ( apologies if you’re not) say that but I haven’t really heard much bad about her . By the way , many a biz owner faces lawsuit challengers . Doesn’t always mean they’re a bad business/ biz owner

        • mystroxx

rumor online Michael has had some lawsuits. I readonline Marg has had a few. not a Sig fan either.

          • michers

Oh ok . Wasn’t trying to offend , but that comment comes up online from her little fan base daily

            • mystroxx

I see Siggy’s army …..no offense to you either just reading blogs never know what is truth and what isn’t lol

              • michers

Crazy times! It’s a train wreck always on social media these days . People get on and say what they want without consequence it seems and it’s kind of disturbing .

    • luvs2ride

Yeah, a $50 gift certificate to Pizza Love.

  • September24

Don’t go to Gorga’s. Don’t rent from them either! LOL!

  • September24

No need to watch the video. These hags couldn’t open an envelope successfully let alone open a business they have no experience in.

  • luvs2ride

I hope he’s up to date with his homeowner’s insurance. If so, settle & move on. If this guy slipped on ice, be mindful & shovel/salt. Its not rocket science.

As for Melissa’s message, I didn’t listen, as I’m sure it’s just more bullshit.

    • justanothermary

Homeowner’s insurance wouldn’t do any good. The person fell in front of one of Joey’s rental properties. That’s a whole other ball of twine. Landlords need to be pretty heavily insured these days, hopefully Joe was.

      • luvs2ride

Hopefully it’s mandatory with his mortgage.

    • Khipp

Hi Luvs. I listened to it. It IS more bullshit.

      • luvs2ride

Thanks for taking one for the team!
Those are 55 seconds you’ll never get back.
No one believes her, so why does she bother?

        • Khipp

          LOL Luvs, it wasn’t easy.

  • Betty

The restaurant thing is a bigger issue. A slip and fall happens a lot. You can only respond through a lawsuit or through insurance. If you settle for can, they will come back and want more. Let the insurance co handle it.
